Delicious!!! The breakfast tacos come with 2 for only $3.50 and WOW. - the tortilla tastes homemade and amazing, the salsa is so flavorful and the taco was perfect with a combo of eggs, cheese, sausage, papas, tomato and cilantro. We loved it so much that we came back the next morning too! Get there by 11am though or you’ll miss out! 😉 *** Update*** another trip to Del Mar and we stayed right by Mr Peabodys but the tacos weren’t as great as before. It tasted like mostly eggs and could barely taste the sausage or hash browns. Salsa seemed touch and go, not as flavorful as before. Still great for the price though. Service was amazing. We came back in the evening for dessert and had the mocha ice cream cake, which was just ok. The live music was awesome - such a cool vibe. We also tried happy hour ribs and those were the best! So tender they fell off the bone - loved them! Those would make great tacos! 😉

Amazing local bar in Encinitas. The staff is very friendly and helpful and how to show an out-of-town guests a very good time. The setup of the restaurant is warm, cosy and comfortable. The prices of very good and during happy hour you will pay a third of the price for beer and wine. The wings are absolutely amazing and sold per wing so it is very easy to measure the quantity of food you want. Definitely with a visit if you are in the Carlsbad or Encinitas area.

I was so surprised that there's such a good jazz performance without cover charge. The food are good and it's really good price. They have a different music event every night. Be ware of their big taco, they are like an item face burrito. Did not know how to eat it at all but it was really good.

The food is always good but tonight’s service was lacking. She didn’t offer menus, and then took a long time to take our orders. We didn’t order fries but we charged for them. We had to request mustard several times, and finally got it from another server. She served mixed drinks full of ice and probably not more than a few tablespoons of liquid. When I requested another drink without ice she brought it 2/3 empty! On top of it I came intending to sit in with the jazz band as I have many times previously. However, the keyboard player told me to come back another time, and made a comment that all the players are full time pros. Well, that was unexpected. If it’sa jazz jam for full time pros they need to say so. As it was, the band was pretty good, but the tunes became monotonous. They could have used a good singer! 😆

Great food, went here for live music and was not disappointed! Prime rib was good for its price, esp with the sides (I’d rec getting bacon on the side as you get more). Get extra au jous. Pls do not get the cheesecake. Potentially one of the worst cheesecakes I’ve had in my life. Pls do not get the cheesecake. It’s so bad. Pls. Good food. Good vibe. Awful cheesecake (do not get).

We went here to watch the Packers game it was pretty nice they put on whatever game you need cuz there's lots of TVs and actually the food was pretty good for bar food I was pleasantly surprised!! Our dark-haired waiter I think his name was Steve was super cool.

I'm from out of town but I always make sure I drop in when I'm here. The vibe is great and the food always exceeds my expectations. Come in and listen to a jam session or a karaoke night. Always a good time any day of the week!

Happy hour is so cheap and food is good. My happy hour ribs were a little over cooked and couldn't chew some parts but it tasted good. Love the Turkey Tacos! Wednesday Happy Hour all day!

I went to Mr. Peabody to see a friend perform. The place was packed and unfortunately I ordered the Prime Rib special, biggest mistake I ever made. The prime rib was so tough and tasteless that I could barely chew it (forgot to take pictures) The loaded baked potato was very good and so was the vegetable. The service was pretty bad because there was only one server working every table, I really felt bad for the guy so I tipped him well.

Nice place! The food is prepared well, good prices and large portions! The service is very good as well. However, the music leaves a bit to be desired. The karoake host continues to allow the same 2 or 3 regulars sing the VERY SAME SONGS each week and it is driving people away! Same for Open mic nights. Cool idea but not much variety. Definitely go for the food and bartenders! They are great!

Went here a Friday afternoon to get some "bar" food. I think they were under staffed this evening because the food took an hour to get to the table. Appetizers and main course came at the same time. Girl who served us definitely gets a 5⭐️. 5⭐️ - Chicken wings are delish. Deep fried before covered with thick and smooth sauce. ( BBQ ) 1⭐️ - French Onion soup. Have to say terrible. To fat, a square piece of cheese on top floating on top of the bread and onions. With some chives sprinkled on top. Picture on the menu ( an actually baked French Onion Soup) is the opposite from what is served. We did not even finish 20% of it. 4⭐️ -Fish and Chips. Very good and the fish was delish. French fries with a great crisp and not to greasy. 4⭐️ - BLT . A fresh and nice dish. A good piece of bread with fresh tomato, avocado, lettuce and of course bacon. We had it with Caesar salad, a good and okey CS. All served on paper and plastic plates ( not the soup ) I know we sat outside but paper/plastic plates takes the edge out of everything. Once again, the girl who served us was great and did everything to make us feel welcomed , even if it took so long for the food.

This establishment serves 14 ounce "pints". They are aware of this as per a conversation with the bartender. I'd been coming here for years and as I discovered this the bartender didn't seem to care but shrugged it off as a point of business instead of trying to appease the customer.

Please ladies make sure that you have your purses and your wallets next to you shady shady place had my wallet lifted from the bartender called the manager to review the tape. Many many time !! I don’t care about the money that was in my wallet it’s the wallet has sentimental value to me ( the last time My late husband that had early onset Alzheimer’s disease at 50 years old bought it for me And that was the last time he could tell me that he loved me before the disease completely took over)we where married 40 years my college, sweetheart the love of my life❤️ I have called every day Since the wallet has been missing!!! The manager has never called me or gotten back to me so that she could review the video!!! Today I filed a police report all I want is the Wallet back I don’t care about anything else!!I I am truly heartbroken!!!😪

I am conflicted - the food has been pretty good. The concern is how much the sous chef touched his face and nose, sniffled, and with bare hands handled the meat and briskets he was carving - no hand washing - it was absolutely disgusting. I doubt I’ll be back. My rating is confusing because of this essentially inexcusable action. Tall broad dude Sunday night the 7th – retrain that guy.
