This is one of my favorite places! They have a small indoor part with the bar and a few tables, and a huge outdoor patio. They are dog friendly and the food is great! It's in fair oaks which is an adorable area with roosters running around in the streets.

We absolutely adore this place!! Been going here for at least 7 years! It’s an all-season kind of hang out! Spring and summer it has outdoor patio and fans, umbrellas, deck, comfy chair options, and a great place to stop after biking in the park. Also, fall and winter yummy food and indoor amazing ambiance! The owner loves her patrons and has a crew that you can tell love to work there. Her homemade wonton soup is AMAZING!! Excellent service too! Sushi is over the top on Sunday. As you can see I have plenty of compliments to offer this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place just keeps getting better! The new patio and outdoor dining area is open yet shaded, with generous airflow and fans to keep it cool. The house beers are all still really good, and they have a pretty good choices on tap. The appetizers here continue to stand out, and the service is friendly and there when you need them.

Excellent vibe, Unreal food. The sushi from Yibo is top of the line. Great beer, great drinks. AWESOME staff and owners! Also sick merch!!

Good food; pizza is on point. Fries have the Arby's-like crust. Outside seating is great with cooling fans for summer.

Delicious Fig Pig Goat pizza. Paired great with "Brown" Mammoth Brewing. Nice local spot. Recommended. Will return for more.

Place was awesome, didn't know fair oaks had a little village like that. Reminded me of a small placerville. The venue was awesome, they have a little smoker outside to give it some ambiance. Will be returning with my wife and to potentially catch a wild chicken that's running around .

Wicked little find in Fair Oaks. We are just travelling and happened to search ‘brewery’ on Google. We went for beer and brats. The flight of four tasters was great with the highlight being a Macadamia Nut Porter by Six Rivers Brewing. Brats were good to.

Can’t say enough about the excellent food and outstanding customer service. We are fortunate that FOBP is open especially now during covid.~ so THANK YOU FOBP! 💪❤️🙏Btw, staff (owner) exudes ❤️. I’ll add some photos soon!

This pub is not just any pub. Beyond great service, this place has amazing food. They have delicious pub food that you would expect plus MORE.. like, sushi!!! There is a bar and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. On weekends it's packed and so worth the wait.

Was at Fair Oaks Brew Pub on Friday night enjoying a great evening—good drinks, good vibes. Unfortunately, things took a turn near closing when a rowdy (and clearly drunk) table started making a scene, demanding more drinks after last call. One guy, who kept going on about being a firefighter (not sure why that mattered), started making racist comments and acting threatening toward the owner—who I know personally and is nothing but kind and professional. Total embarrassment. People really need to learn how to handle themselves in public. Big props to the staff for keeping things calm despite the chaos.

The service was really attentive but not pushy. We showed up at the transition from breakfast to lunch and they transitioned us really smoothly (we got a side of bacon for our kiddo before ordering from the lunch menu). Great salad, pizzas, and beers! Outside seating with our kid, great shade options too.

This was my first time here has my wife and I wanted to have a dinner date night. We were seated right away, though the place was pretty packed outside. It was a really nice vibe, as they had some reggae music, playing and all of the staff seemed pretty positive and upbeat. My wife ordered the fig goat cheese pizza and I ordered a barbecue bacon burger. She loved the pizza and I would say the burger was one of the best burgers i've had. I also had the garlic beer, batter fries and they were delicious. The best part about the experience was meeting the owner. She is a very kind and hardworking woman who takes pride in her brew pub! I highly recommend supporting her business as it can be really hard In this day and age to run a business. I personally know this because my wife and I own our own business. We complemented her business and she began to cry. She has literally put her heart and soul into this business And you can tell. This is the kind of person and business that I want to support And I hope you will also.

My friend and I really enjoyed our first visit to this place. Food was absolutely delicious and the service very welcoming. Fries (regular and garlic Parmesan) were delicious and so was the chicken sandwich.

I just wanted to give a shot out to the amazing staff here. They were closing up and a drunk Sac Metro Fire Fighter showed up and insisted on getting drinks. He then tried to threaten the owner by saying there were multiple violations and that she would be investigated before calling the owner a racist slur. Wei handled it like a pro. The fire fighter came off as one of those guys who buys a big diesel truck but never actually tows anything. Big “chair in the corner” energy. Anyway, the staff here is amazing and they handled the situation beautifully.

Great customers, but the owner is the best part. She is nice, funny and genuine.

I cannot say enough good things about their potato salad. I like their food in general and love that they added the sushi menu for an additional day but we seriously go here for the potato salad, have order to go containers of it, and took 10 gallons to a family reunion and it all disappeared. 😘👌🏻

Absolutely everyone who works there is very pleasant and helpful and inviting! From the moment we walked in greeted with a smile and speedy service to every staff member who walked by our table. We felt like special guests of honor. The pulled pork sandwich and pork street tacos were accented perfectly with their special barbecue sauce. We highly recommend this place to everyone for the amazing service and exquisite food.

Awesome!! The food was amazing and the service was superb! Didn’t get a chance to get the names of the bartenders, unfortunately, but they were all incredibly helpful. Good selection of beer and lots of vegetarian options for a pub!

I had such a good time. The house beer was delicious. I consider myself a beer expert and I absolutely loved the house beer. Some of the staff was a bit standoffish but my waitress was on point and friendly. I recently moved to the area and I always see so many people at the brew pub. I liked that they had outdoor misters to cool everyone cause it was a bit warm out. My table didn't get touched by the misters but I stood up and went over to cool off. The owner seemed a bit frazzled, she was all over the place and seemed to be way too busy. All in all a great experience and I will be back. The food was great quality and tasted amazing.

S

Sat at that bar on a night they had a huge cop retirement party with 120 guests. Even though service was a bit slowed down because of all that we still had good conversation and amazing food.

K

When you think of brew pub, sushi doesn't pop into mind, but that's exactly what they serve here along with bar food! I thought it was kind of odd but the sushi was good and fresh! The poke bowl was also delicious! I would also recommend the pretzel. They have a pretty cool outdoor seating which will be perfect for the spring and summer. The atmosphere and staff is pretty cool and helpful! Only downside is parking is very hard to find.

We have been coming here for about a month now. The employees here are super friendly and attentive. We love sitting in the patio and they are very dog friendly. The verity of foods extend from salads, pizzas, burgers and sushi Fridays.

Yes, FINALLY a place that understands that the crushed red pepper goes in the shaker with the slats, not holes. I've been to so many places that get this wrong. I was already going to give five stars just because of this outstanding sour red that is blowing my socks off, and the look of the place feels right. Lots of wood and brick and artistic beer pulls. Good hours. Haven't tried the good yet, but you know I will be back, because there ain't another pizza place for miles where I can sprinkle the crushed red pepper easily.

The brew pub is the heart of Old Fair Oaks! Seeing how much it has transformed since its opening is inspirational. I moved out of state a few years ago, and the Brew Pub is a must visit for me and my husband whenever we come back to town. Not only does it have great food and service (the owners are amazing), but it is also a great place to hang out with your friends or family while enjoying the beautiful weather on their patio.

This place is what I imagine an Irish pub is like. The beer is great and they offer tasty, interesting food choices. It looks like they are in the middle of expanding so as to accommodate more people comfortably. We will definitely come back to try more of the menu.

The blue rooster was OK not amazing but still good crispy chicken bacon pizza. The burger was well done when we asked medium rare but it was a tasty burger and fries so it's ok not a big deal regardless. The tempura fried cheesecake reminded us of a funnel cake at a carnival.

This is a cool place to hang out in FO. Nice outdoor seating. The food is good, good beer and cocktails. Service staff is good. Maybe a little attitudy, but over all had a good experience. I had pulled pork this time and I think it could be a bit more flavourful. Update.. had the sushi this time, and it was pretty good! I would recommend it. We had the smile and the spicy tuna. My son said the burger was good! Staff this time was pleasant and and helpful! So I upped the stars!

My wife and I came here for a birthday celebration for a friend with a group and had an amazing night! I really think the servers, the food quality, and the overall atmosphere helped foster an amazing night for all of us! My wife and I had sushi options and one of the soups with a couple of cocktails. Along with our friends sharing some of what they got, only 1 thing left me disappointed. The beer scallop and muscle soup were disappointing on the overall flavor of it. I didn't know what to expect going into eating it, that's why I wanted to try it, but I wish I would have gone for something else. Again, let me emphasize that no one else had issues with any other food, and neither did I so please give this place a try!

This place rocks! We had the most delicious fig and chorizo pizza, fresh made pretzel, and great microbrews. Topping it all off, we were treated to one of the best bluesy rock bands (Jeff Watson Band) I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to go back!

I decided to have our company Christmas party here for the location, menu and atmosphere. I love that it's a woman-owned business and Wei Wei go around and visit your table. Fiancee and I decided to have brunch here during the weekend and we were very pleased. Food tasted amazing. There were variety of selections of drinks from alcoholic to non-alcoholic. Love the miss-mash style and lots of roster inspired knick knacks. They cater for all dietary needs and allergen. Staff are pleasant and have great interactions with you. Price is comparable and not expensive. Overall great place to have romantic or casual dates. I wouldn't recommend bringing kids as it does cater well for young ones.

Good food and great ambiance on the patio. I actually really enjoyed sitting on the patio (I usually don't at most places), since we were seated at a low table with huge cushy lounge type chairs around it. I found it more relaxing to sit in these chairs with a plate in my lap, sharing a pizza with friends and catching up. The table wasn't too small, and nothing felt uncomfortable. The music volume was just right, and there was a water mister that was a nice touch. Dog friendly, there was a nice large dog at the table next to us.

Good music, great food! Dog-friendly outdoor patio brew pub dining. Love the local roosters that help add to the charm of this corner spot! Wow, I would say this restaurant was unexpected. I came here for dinner with my coworkers and it was actually much better sushi than what I expected from a very Western-style restaurant. I ordered the salmon roll and it was unexpectedly good! My coworkers also said their rolls were fantastic. I didn't try the alcohol stuff but some of my coworkers ordered up to 3 cups so I bet it was good. The appetizers were also very good. The service was also good! It was a very pleasing experience and would recommend trying it out.

Nice place. Cozy inside and decent space outside. Service was great - both of the staff who helped us were courteous and upbeat. The food was very tasty, but the pizza needed another minute or two in the oven with the center of the pizza a little soft. The tap list was good. We will be back for another try!

Fair Oaks Brew Pub is easily one of the best spots in the area. From the moment you walk in, the service stands out — the staff is genuinely attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing. You never have to wait long for anything, and they actually care about making sure you’re enjoying yourself. The drinks are made to perfection. Whether it’s a craft beer or a cocktail, everything is balanced, fresh, and clearly made by people who know what they’re doing. The food is just as impressive — flavorful, high-quality, and consistently great every time. The pizza deserves its own shout-out. It’s not your basic pub pizza — it’s gourmet. Perfectly baked crust, quality toppings, and bold flavors that make you want to come back just for that. The outdoor seating area is another huge plus. It’s comfortable, spacious, and has really nice aesthetics — great lighting, relaxed vibes, and perfect for hanging out with friends or a date night. If you’re looking for a place with excellent food, top-tier drinks, and outstanding service in a great atmosphere, Fair Oaks Brew Pub absolutely delivers.

What a great experience- from being greeted immediately and seated right away to very attentive (but never disruptive) staff this is a fantastic spot. The food was delicious, we had the pulled pork sandwich and a friend customized the veggie pizza (which was no problem) just to his liking. We stayed to visit after we finished our meal and never felt rushed (and they were busy) and the staff even brought us an ice cold karate of water. We will definitely be back.

My friend and I visited after the Chicken Run. It actually wasn't too busy but they were understaffed and our food was delayed as the cook was late. It also took a really long time to get our drinks. Service was friendly just not well-organized that day. The outdoor patio was the perfect place to spend a couple hours on a Sunday morning. The area is nicely shaded and setback from a quiet street. It's large and the tables are not squished super close. The menu is varied and they had several vegan options! My food was well-prepared and seasoned. Will be back!

Great spot with the best gluten free pizza! I got the fig (has chorizo/pepperoni but I added sausage and it was fire!) Staff is very nice and attentive. The patio is covered by a huge tree and they have fans that blow mist. They don’t have a ton of gluten free options on tap BUT they have a full bar and the prices are really good for cocktails.

Went with my daughter recently, as a spot to meet her for Dinner 🍽️🍽️... She found it while walking her dog 🐕 in the area while I got a massage 😉... Very happy to see the large outside patio area, where she felt comfortable taking her HUSKY 🐶 . . . And pleasantly surprised at the Delicious 😋 MENU!!! We had plenty of space even though it was busy, and were helped or served by a large, friendly, attentive STAFF... Her dog was brought a WATER 💦 BOWL, as we were served our water AND she had a DBL Burger Patty, as we enjoyed our drinks and food 😁 An excellent 👌 Dog friendly atmosphere, with Great FOOD and SERVICE!!! EVERYTHING we ordered (Caesar Salad, 3 Meat PIZZA, Pulled Pork TACOS and BACON Macaroni n Cheese) was flavorful fresh and abundant... The Strawberry 🍓 BEERS 🍺🍺 were unique and TASTY! We both planned on coming again before we left, and are looking forward to taking friends n family SOON!

It took me ions to finally get into the brew pub. Super glad we did! We walked over from the restaurant down the street because we were more in the mood for the food on the menu HERE 😁 Such a smart combination. You can get beautiful artisan pizzas, high quality sushi, crispy brussels, all in one place that's casual and cozy. The barbecue albacore is my fave. But the pizza, sushi, edamame were all extremely yummy. Greeted nicely, felt welcome in this place seemingly full of locals.

Parking is understandably packed when there are events at the community park or theater. Prepare for a light walk. Neighborhood is quaint with chickens and roosters walking about. If you've been to old Fair Oaks you know what I'm talking about. The pub is kind of small but they are in the beginning stages of expanding. The outside area is just as big as the inside. Great for those nice cool nights. The staff is friendly and really helpful. There is always someone walking around you can flash down when you need something. Food is pretty special. Pizza look and taste hand made and fresh. Sliders are delicious. The pretzels, I heard are soft and toasty. The sampler beer is reasonably priced. And there is enough variety for you to have a couple of favorites. I'm a fan of the peanut butter stout.i would definitely come back and would recommended this place to friends.

Like this place, owner is always welcoming, patio is small but eclectic, right in old Fair Oaks next to the ampitheater. Large menu for a small place, food has always been tasty, rotating beer and enough wine selection to get by. Update: same awesome service, and we saw at least 10 big sushi roll plates coming out to the patio in about an hour at HH time....the customers may be on to something!

Partner and I frequent this laid back neighborhood pub when we want predictably palatable food and drinks, especially on the lovely outdoor patio area. Normally we share a pizza, or just stop by for a quick beer, but recently we happened upon one of their weekend sushi nights and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of offerings. I just wish they would switch up their guest taps/beer selection more often, and would love to see some local spirits on the cocktail menu.

S

The food was pretty good, but expensive. It took a while before I could get hold of a waiter to take my order. The outdoor seating was nice.

M

My first time here and I liked it! Very cool vibe and I enjoyed sitting outside. It's very busy and kinda hard to tell who works there but the servers were nice and very helpful. I'd like to come back and try more food. Had the garlic fries and ceasar salad this time. Garlic fried were good (a little greasy) and the salad was a salad- nothing special. They only have one cider which is pineapple and I'm allergic. *sad face*. They must have a time limit on reservations because they were definitely trying to get us to leave subtlety but not so subtlety.

Love their large patio. Had a couple of cold beers and good pretzel(wish it was bigger!). Dog friendly, in fact our server brought a bowl of water for our dog! Always a great place for a cold brew!

Love This place! Well worth a drive, town is old country feeling, roosters are free range and chickens Food was good, had the pretzel and fig,, pig and goat pizza, should have given a 5 star, food was a little cold. Service was great and friendly. The atmosphere was casual and back porch area was a nice place to sit and check out the roosters. Oh and the beer has something for everyone.

****Update several years later **** In the spirit of the Fair Oaks Chicken festival It was decided it was time to put aside my bias and try again what has now become a center point for Fair Oaks Village restaurant revival. Although chickens and the village restaurant scene have a public mutual interest, in reality it is completely inappropriate for them to be inside and eating area. This has largely been addressed with a patio and partial barrier system. The unknown and sizable reduction in chicken population over the last few years has probably done the most. On this original point of contention I was very happy to not see a single chicken within the restaurant eating space. The atmosphere was lively and although the entire patio and indoor seating area was packed full, staff gave appropriate attention to us and other patrons waiting. This continued with the ordering process and kitchen delivering efficiently and a bartender that, as from the beginning, maintains superb production and bar management skills. Our table ordered multiple drinks and a moderately broad spectrum of plates. Fig topped thin crust neopolitan pizza was exceptional. The three other dishes were good quality and arrived as expected. Although I may have been recognized and in this way, invited dispassionate service from the same manager/ownership front of house. We were treated by her professionally, albeit it with a possibly knowing glance and slight coldness. All other wait staff was very polite and friendly. Their efficiency bordered on rushed turn service however I can certainly appreciate an expediently delivered dining experience. My long held opinion has been entirely reversed and I will continue to patronize this restaurant that is within walking distance. Thank you for pioneering a modern change to the scene, dedicating yourself to our area, and continually improving your craft and process. Disappointing. I Did not feel like a guest. The food was mediocre. Exposure to live chickens in the outdoor dining area is nearly constant. The outdoor seating area is charming, however eating dinner near live chickens is off-putting. At least one of those chickens had an exposed wound at least four inches in diameter. An attempt to use a squirt bottle to shoo away the animals was made, however, they remained in close proximity, and immediately resumed meandering through the dining area. The health risks to customers remain. The unsealed wooden picnic tables we eat on are exposed to the chickens at night, and offer a porous surface for pathogens. Unless a comprehensive cleaning procedure is undertaken each day to ensure feces have been removed, I'm not certain I or my children will not be exposed when touching the tables. Coupled with the majority of the food eaten with hands (pizza, burgers, erc.) And the bathroom with a single stall and one sink per gender for an estimated 65 patrons. This health risk alone earns the restaurant it's poor review as it demonstrates lack of planning and undercapitalized development. The waitstaff was polite and courteous. However an acrimonious manager created an unwelcoming environment. Additionally our group received incorrect orders and a total of 37 minutes between the first meal and finally giving up and canceling the last meal. The bartender is very efficient and organized. He produced quality drinks in a timely manner and politely acknowledged approaches to his bar. The beer selection is well thought out and adds a nice option for our area. I very much would like this restaurant to suceed. However it seems an underfunded project in desperate need of a professional consultant.

Tucked within fair Oaks is a beautiful brick building. Trying to get in was a tad confusing but we figured it out. We were trying to go in an only exit. There is a large outside area with fire pits and heaters. The tables in side are cozy with an view of the bar if you choose so. You can hear the drinks being shook and beverages being delivered consistently. The menu is interesting. There is sushi, breakfast, pizza, burgers, appetizers. Beverages range from cocktails to beers. Service was great. Ambience was okay. Would definitely go back.

The food wasnt the best....wasnt bad though but the beer was top notch. The ambiance was great and our server was great. Our server stayed with a smile and we even complimented her on her service verbally and in our tip as well. Compliments dont pay bills. Id come back due to her service and the beer.

Prompt service with seating and food. Nice pizza toppings, crust could have a little more chew to it. I like thin crust but with more body. Good sushi. Good beer selection. Great employees.

This spot is great. We sat outside which had fans with misters attached which kept it really cool and comfortable. Also, a small detail that I appreciated was they included a foot rail under the bench seating and that shiy was comfy. The food is probably a 5 star but I gave it 4. The only criticism I have is that they kept us waiting for our bill, but that wasn't much of an inconvenience just something to note. Give it a try, my wife and I had their in house IPA and it was delicious.

We love our local spots and this one is within walking distance from our home. Their food is really good as well as the beer. The customer service and atmosphere is so fun.

I purchased a pizza to go…nothing remarkable, and not a very good value. The vibe inside seemed good. I’d give it another chance as it seems like a good place for a beer and burger. Steer clear of the pizza though.

Our group ordered the risky burger taste is bland, the bun was hard it feels like it’s been sitting on the food warmer because it was hard I requested another bread so they gave it to separately , the garlic fries was also tasted like it’s been sitting on the food warmer did not taste like garlic fries overall the food was disappointing to me . The owner and the staff were very nice.

Went two years ago and food was great. Went back the other day and food has taken a downturn.

Food was marginal- service poor. Notice many tables were getting their meals delivered at separate times. Often 5 minutes or more apart. Appears they need more servers?

I was dining at the bar about an hour before close. They called last call for food. The patio was still pretty full, and then 2 waitresses inside started pulling all the chairs around me and sweeping under my feet. It's not very welcoming, so I took my food and left. I'd really really want to like this place, but stuff like this happens whenever I go there

This place used to be fun but the owner is too pushy. You will be constantly pressured to order more and instantly given the bill if you say no and have someone hover over you while tipping. Your table is also unassigned so be prepared to answer the same question from multiple servers over and over. Fair Oaks is a relaxed place and this place isn't mirroring that energy anymore.

Visited 2 times before writing a review. Great location. Service has always been positive. Environment is inviting and comfortable. But the beer… please clean the keg lines! The beer is flat and vaguely skunked - every one I’ve tried. This is supposed to be a brew pub. Beer is the central tenant of this business, and unfortunately the worst part of the experience. High hopes for improvement. The neighborhood needs a good place. But, focus on the basics.

They're flatbread pizzas are very good however we feel rushed to get out from ordering to eating to leaving the entire time we're there we feel very pressured to quickly do these things it's not relaxing and I doubt we'll be back we've been going here for years and it's always the same thing lately order eat leave. The owner was very pushy and rude. I'm not confusing this with attentive service.

For background, I first visited Fair Oaks Brew Pub after moving to the area in 2015. I’m not a regular, but I probably eat here about 5-8 times a year. In the beginning, it’s was great. I liked the decor, the outdoor seating is lovely during those perfect Sacramento sunny days (even in the heat of summer with the fans and misters), and the food was decent. The last 1-2 years have been when I noticed a decline. They briefly had a brunch menu, which was so good! It went away, but I get if the numbers aren’t there it had to be cut. However, the menu is quite limited now, but I understand the benefit of focusing on only a few dishes per menu category during certain times of day. Today was my third time coming to Fair Oaks Brew Pub and have had a poor experience. This time was the most disappointing, so I’m leaving a review with the hope for improvement. My main problem with today’s experience - the service. It was only myself and my five year old daughter for a “mom/daughter day out.” We sat down, it took about 7-10 minutes for a server to come over with a menu and waters. I watched other people who were sat after us receive menus and water within the first 3 minutes. I told myself, “maybe the server is busy or didn’t know we were back here.” When the server came by, she was kind enough to check on the ingredients for one of the menu items. For food I ordered a side of fries, a side salad, and veggie potstickers. For drinks I ordered an orange juice and a coffee. The server brings out the drinks first. Later, another person brings the fries along with two small plates and two square napkins. The server does a quick walk by our table to ask how things are and that is the last time she comes over to our table for the rest of the time we’re there. The potstickers are next and then the side salad. No utensils are brought by. While I wait to see if the server comes back, I focus on the finger food and take a bite of the potstickers and was concerned that maybe the wrong ones were brought out, because there didn’t appear to be veggies inside but meat. However, the server never comes back, so I can’t ask for a fork for the salad or about the food. Eventually, a server for another table walks by and I flag her down and ask if I can have a fork. She brings over two sets of utensils and I’m able ask her about the potstickers. She says they put tofu inside and then leaves. I know some pretty incredible things can be done with tofu, but the filling really looked like the fried beef. I decided to leave them for my daughter, but she didn’t care for the taste. Since there wasn’t much else on the menu, I figured it was time to go. Again, our server doesn’t come by, so it’s a bit of a wait until I flag down the owner/manager who happens to be walking by to pay. I get it, I’m not their target clientele. I don’t drink, have dietary restrictions, and the menu is meant for adults. But in this economy, can the service be friendly and attentive? Where I walk away feeling, “well at least my business is appreciated.” I didn’t. I haven’t felt welcome here for a while. Overall, it was a disappointing experience (further impacted by the two men who sat next to us and decided to drop f-bombs throughout their conversation - which is not the restaurant’s fault, but an “insult to injury” to the whole situation) and hopefully it won't be repeated for future customers. This place is really special to Fair Oaks Village and I hope others customers have a better experience.

Not sure what happened. Got a table inside easily. Ordered our drinks which came out fairly quickly. Then we didn’t see our server for at least 20 minutes. Had to grab another server, who I think was the owner, to order more drinks and food. She was very short with us and not friendly. We ended dealing with six different servers and the pizza came out 20-30 minute after the other main dishes were served. Apparently the pizza oven was backed up… no one told us until it was too late. At that point I wasn’t hungry anymore. There were no apologies, nothing. When it can time to pay, a server stood there hovering while we split the bill. Made us feel uncomfortable, because we would not have tipped 20% or 18% which were the only options, unless you figured out a custom tip. But with the server hovering, we didn’t feel comfortable doing that. Just a bad feeling all around.

So I met a friend for drinks this weekend, we sat at the bar. We were approached by a tall Asian lady asking if we would like to order food, at the time we just arrived so we politely said no. 5 min later we were asked again and she also suggested we get a table. At that time we politely said no. 5 min layer the Asian lady (owner) goes off on is on how it isn't right that we are in a restaurant and not ordering food. Nobody was even sitting at the bar the tables in the restaurant were empty because everyone was eating outside. It is NOT ok to beg your coustomers to order food! Was very rude and never again! You be lucky to be open another 6 months! P.S. Again we were there for 20min total. Your reply tells everyone what they need to know about you. You are not a good person.

Waitress (Ruby 🫰🏼) Amazing. I was BRAND NEW in town three weeks ago and brought my baby mini here for a day date and socializing. Met the male owner - wonderful! He and all the people in back I met were welcoming & shared SO much insight on the cool parts of Sac to check out. I felt leaving so excited to come back! SO. Went back today. TOTALLY different experience. His wife was working & was SO RUDE I couldn’t even finish my vegan bratwurst. I mentioned to her how wonderful this little spot has been for me (to be brand new here and break away from my paralyzed husband during his naps once in a while) with my Australian shepherd. She then cut me off (wasn’t engaged) and then vocally slammed her husband (co-owner). It was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least! Please owners - don’t drag new customers into your stuff. I went there to chill with my dog & chaotic live and left EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Will not be going back.

I was excited to try this place, but was sorely disappointed. Food was pretty basic (I ordered a margarita pizza) but as mentioned in several other reviews, service was sorely lacking. The servers were clearly stressed and unhappy with the owner following them everywhere. The owner visited nearly every other table to chat up the customers, but completely ignored me. The patio was shaded and had misters for a warm evening, but seating was very uncomfortable. I will not be going back when I am next in town.

My family used to go here often. At least a couple of times a month. The food is decent and the atmosphere is better. As far as service goes... Today my wife, daughter and I sat at the outside patio, on a pretty warm day, for over 15 minutes without even an offer of water. After those 15 minutes another group was seated right next to us, given water and asked what they would like to drink. We just stood up and left. The owner said "Thank you come again" without even realizing we were never served. I couldn't even speak and just kept on walking. Very disappointing. We won't be back. There are so many places with better food, drinks and service, like Shangri La and Brahma, less than a block away that I won't miss this place one bit.

I’ve truly never had a worse experience. I’ve been in the food and Bev industry for over ten years and this was rough. We came in a half hour before close for a couple of beers and half of our four person group were served while the other half used the restroom. When the other half came out to order they were told not to serve us based on the time per the owner? It was super weird. We closed out the drinks we did have but not before the owner harassed us and other tables into leaving. Again, very bizarre behavior. We went to a bar down the street where said owner and friends showed up to then harass us more?? They told everyone in the current bar that we were terrible patrons and didn’t deserve to be serviced? It almost caused some locals to want to fight us? It was unbelievably unprofessional and also bizarre as we have no issue toward this bar we stopped at one time? Anyway, this owner is unbelievably unprofessional and frankly, no one should patronize this establishment, it’s truly not worth it.

We were really looking forward to dining here as a family, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. After being seated, we were ignored for a while and then unexpectedly asked to give up our table because it had apparently been promised to another party. There were no other tables available for us outside (which was the whole point we chose to dine here), so we had no choice but to leave or wait around after being humiliated. It was an uncomfortable and confusing situation that left a very bad impression. Hopefully the restaurant can work on better communication and organization going forward. This was my family’s first time there and we will not only not be returning, we will be encouraging others not to as well.

Ordered 3 pigs breakfast. My meal came out after the rest of my party was half finished. The meal was missing sausage and bacon, everything was bland and was in much need of seasoning. I will not return to this restaurant.

Revised: Was really excited to try this place out. We came there and asked if there was seating inside because it was cold out. She said, no seating inside. Didn’t even offer us to wait or a wait time or anything. So we left and called and a lady who answered said there was inside seating and to come on in. We ended up going to River City Brewing because of the way the hostess communicated and treated us. We also noticed the people behind us left for the same reason. And yea, there was someone seating people. It was a lady. Reply to owner. There was a lady seating people.

Rude staff, food was bland. Based off of their reviews the owners don't care either which is sad considering its this community who puts money onto your business and your pockets. Here's an interesting business concept. "Good customer service", "accountability"
