I suppose it seems as though I write reviews to places I have just fallen in love with or the positive impact the working class in these places have a positive effect on me. I can’t help it. Wes BBQ is no exception. I have been visiting this little cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I ate here for the first time back in 2010 and have been a sporadic patron ever since when I used to visit Fayetteville and then after I moved here. The restaurant is so quaint and reminiscent of a mom and pop family run restaurant. I have had nearly everything on their menu and I cannot day that there has been a time I was ever disappointed. The portions they serve are well the worth the modest cost. So, Wes has an a small arcade of nostalgic games!! Just two or three I believe but it is so fabulous! The tables are donned with picnic style table covers. The employees are extremely friendly. Wes makes wonderful BBQ and burgers! One thing that I can tell is that he really puts a great amount of effort and pride into his food. I especially love the generous portions of the okra I always order when I order food from them.

Love this place and so do my children. The food is great and so is the conversations. The owner and his wife are lovely people and that's the other reason I constantly go back. Never have to worry about an order being messed up.

I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was great! The staff were very kind! I will certainly visit again when I'm in town again.

A friend of mine was at my house yesterday and insisted we get Burger Plus and even bought me a special with a double cheeseburger and tater tots and it was delicious and just perfection. It took twenty minutes after ordering for it to get to my house and was fresh and such a good deal. I will be back as much as I can afford because the prices are great and the food is top quality. I am already recommending this place to everyone I know. Yummy 😋

Honestly, for a bbq/burger joint that's location is hidden (love it) is pretty good. I had the fries that are delicious (heard the tater tots are the go to) and had the double bacon burger which is not sloppy like you would get at 5 guys or cj butcher boy. I'm curious though if the patties are somewhat boiled. But other than that's its delicious!!

Super friendly service. Really good sweet tea. Great bbq sauce, good bbq. Burgers were not my favorite but still a really good dive.

the burgers are kinda chewy and not as flavorful as somewhere like Hugo’s, and i haven’t tried their bbq so i can’t comment on if that’s good or not, but man the owners are are genuinely some of the nicest people i’ve ever met, and them alone made what would’ve been a mediocre eating experience into a really pleasant one. It’s a real shame to see mom & pop places like this to go under and ruin someone’s livelihood, so i would urge others to at least try it and support some very very lovely people who could really use a boost in business, and maybe even hopefully turn things back around. (also maybe specify what you want your burger cooked to so you don’t get a well done one?)

Burr Boys

Came in for a nice lunch with a co-worker. Arrived too some guy (Seemed to be owner) eating ribs off the table, no plate with dirty fingers and 2 inch long finger nails. The server was nice, but Burger came out grey and tasted boiled. There was no flavor in the burger and restaurant was really dirty and not maintained. Definitely recommend finding another BBQ joint in town because this is by far the worst one in NWA I've been too.

The food was very tough. We were going to eat in; however the atmosphere was terrible. The tv was on and the language was awful. Not only was it incredibly profane but it was offensive to my family. It included words that my daughter was very put off by. The table cloths were very sticky. We changed our order to go and went to another spot to eat. If you want to take your family- get takeout or better yet, go somewhere else!

Food is nothing special! The south is known for its Barbecue and I have had a lot better! The atmosphere of the place…yikes. Very Smokey area, table cloths were sticky, there was some old guy in there that gave us menus but did nothing else and was watching wrestling with bad language. We ended up taking it to go it was so bad in there. Price was high for bad food and a bad environment!
