A completely unexpected restaurant. Judging by the sign and the atmosphere, you'd expect a typical bar, but it was anything but. The food was high-quality and well-prepared; we loved everything. In fact, we didn't even have time to take pictures of the other dishes because we devoured them so quickly. The cured beef with foie gras was spectacular; we'd never thought of that combination, and we absolutely loved it. The scallop was also incredibly delicious. We really enjoyed everything. A truly surprising menu. The staff's service was outstanding; they were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. They even allowed us to bring our dog in, and gave him treats and water, which was so much appreciated. We will definitely be back!
My boyfriend and I went for lunch last week and we couldn't have been happier. The waiters are incredibly friendly and explain everything in great detail. The food was spectacular. We ordered the breaded prawns, the Mos-style broken eggs with ham, and the octopus. Everything was delicious, of excellent quality, and you could tell it was all homemade. The octopus and the dessert we ordered—French toast—were especially noteworthy. As for the price, it was also very reasonable, since in addition to the three courses and dessert, we ordered two vermouths and two coffees, and it came to less than €60. We'll definitely be back!
Spectacular dinner. Since it was our first time there, we let them advise us on the quantity and asked for suggestions. We had the "Pacific scallops with sea urchin mousseline" (4, they adjust the quantity accordingly), followed by the shrimp skewers, then the grilled octopus, followed by the beef cured meat with duck micuit and Px (Pedro Ximénez), and finally, Iberian pork tenderloin bombs with guacamole. In short, regarding the food... everything was delicious, very special flavors in each dish with different combinations that leave no one indifferent. If I had to choose one dish, it was the beef cured meat. We went as a couple, and in the end, the portions with those dishes were more than enough, as we couldn't finish some. Dinner was accompanied by bread and a bottle of Crego e Monaguillo (Godello). To top it all off, my partner had a dessert that must be one of the star dishes and sells out quickly. It had chocolate and mascarpone, and I had a shot of orujo cream. The price, €92.60, was reasonable and even cheap considering the number of dishes and the different types of cuisine. I will definitely go back and recommend it. (Photos attached; I didn't have time for the remaining ones 😅)
I really enjoyed it, both the food, which was original and delicious, and the service, which was incredibly friendly and attentive to us and my dog. These days, it's so nice to find restaurants that allow dogs, as long as they're well-behaved. And one last nice touch, which was a real bonus: the restrooms have new, individual toothbrushes and toothpaste.
This was my first time visiting Vanessa, even though I've lived in the area for over 30 years. I didn't know what I was missing. I'll definitely be back; the photos speak for themselves. The service was excellent, and best of all: it's pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend who will be just as well cared for (or even better) than you.
Spectacular! We went for dinner and couldn't have been happier. The food was incredible; you can tell they put a lot of care into it and use high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere and service were top-notch. The waiters are super friendly and always explain all the dishes. Very family-friendly. Our favorite dishes were the goat cheese and pear jam balls, the scallops, and the cod. We'll definitely be back!
Overall, the food was delicious; the menu was small but focused. The cheese balls only come in a pack of two, so it's advisable to order more to balance the portion size. The rice sauce was very tasty, but the rice itself didn't absorb all the flavor it should have. The chicken was good. The toasts, on the other hand, were exquisite. 100% recommended, with a wonderfully intense fish flavor. Friendly service.
Staff very friendly, very quick service and the food very inventive and fresh. Recommend!
Honestly, we had a fantastic meal. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was a real surprise to find such a varied and adventurous menu with such perfect flavors. I wasn't expecting a menu like this at all, judging by how the place looks from the outside. I recommend it 100%; it's definitely a must-try spot in the area.
Great place for raciones! Staff is really nice and helpful.

I love this place! I feel right at home. Nice people, great atmosphere and great food! Abosolutely reccomended!
We were starving after a full day of travel and wandered into this gem of a restaurant . We ordered up 6 different plates of tapas and everyone of them were delicious. Also ordered up a bottle of …
First and foremost, the best: the service, attentive, professional, and always open to "good vibes," something that is appreciated, as is, on another level, naturally, the always delicious Gramona Imperial, a classic from the Penedès DO, which continues to embody the virtues of yesteryear. The house served us, as a starter while we waited, a very good EVOO, which we honored by dipping artisan bread with a fluffy crumb and thin crust. We moved on to the Pacific Scallops, already widespread throughout Galician gastronomy, presented in an original way, with the scallops wrapped in a Sea Urchin Mousseline, which I rationed, because, although tasty, you have to maintain an "elegant" distance from the sauces. That way your body <doesn't read you the riot act>. Then we moved on to an excellent Cecina de Vaca (Cecina de Vaca) in which a Mi-Cuit with PX had been dissolved and slightly caramelized. Delicious. A perfectly woven contrast that leads to a sublime bite. Highly recommended. We finished with the humility and simultaneously delicious flavor of Huevos rotos de Mos, with Iberian ham and thinly sliced fried potatoes, perfectly cooked. Some should have been drained more, or dried on kitchen paper, and others were simply a magnet for the fingers, with the fork like an uninvited guest. For dessert, a Panacotta with Orange Coulis had an excessively liquid texture. Not the usual touch you'd expect from a classic pastry from the Alpine country. Despite this nuance, this eclectic establishment, decoratively a 70s/80s café (more or less), remains one of the best places in Ferrol, where reality virtualizes the quintessential classic equation: price/quality.
Good service, good food! Not many options, no english menu, but server was very nice and food was unique and good.
good food, unassuming restaurant, good for couples and family
