Nonostante sia un locale nel pieno centro di Firenze, è ben lontano dai classici posti accalappia-turisti. Il servizio è impeccabile, con grande attenzione alle esigenze del cliente e cameriere simpaticissimo. In coppia, abbiamo preso una fiorentina phenomena da 1.50kg con patate arrosto (il cameriere in totale onestà ci ha consigliato una sola porzione anziché due). Qualità della carne ottima e cottura eccellente. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Sono andata per San valentino e posso solo parlare bene di questo ristorante. Accoglienza eccezionale, piatti buonissimi, ambiente molto intimo e gradevolissimo e prezzi adeguati ai piatti. Super consigliato e se tornassi a Firenze mangerei nuovamente qui. Complimenti.

Came across this lovely restaurant in Florence and ordered a Large Fettuccine with Wild Boar Sauce and Ravioli with the Rabbit White Sauce. So far they are the best pasta I have in Italy. We also ordered a Peppery Berf Stew and it was very soft and juicy. Everyone comes for the steak but a gently boiled and flavoured stew beef taste amazing and had far exceeded my initial expectations. A staff named Leo is very friendly and he patiently explained each menu in details for us which added on this already excellent dining experience. Highly recommend people to come to try the pasta and beef here!!

This is our favourite restaurant in Florence for the last 10 years. Every year the service is top notch and the Madam Boss is always so accommodating and friendly and remembers us. I know nothing lasts forever, but while you still can have it, I would recommend coming here before you won't have a chance too The wild boar pasta and the Firenze steak 1kg is amazing. The ravioli with truffle sauce is also great and not too heavy. We also really liked the carbonara which was creamy and full of flavour Dessert here are also just as good You won't be disappointed. The pricing is not a rip off compared to others. 65/kg for a steak is good value at the time of writing. Yours truly, Mr Steak Man

Le Cappelle Medicee is an absolute gem in Florence. Villma, the owner, welcomes you like family the moment you step in. She’s warm, friendly, and somehow manages to make the whole place feel like home. Their coccoli with prosciutto and stracchino is unforgettable. The Chianina steak, aged for 180 days, is extraordinary and truly meant to be enjoyed down to the bone. And the desserts? As Villma informed us during our visit, “Tiramisu, panna cotta… we have everything except the time to have a vacation.” It was the perfect cap to an already incredible meal.

Great stop in Florence. Our Waiter was awesome and had a smile the entire time we were there. We had the pasta with meat and Chianti sauce, fettuccini with wild boar ragu(amazing!), and the slow cooked beef stew. The food and wine was all incredible. I highly recommend this place.

Fabulous! It was an amazing experience I had in first day of Florence city. We spent around €310 for couples dishes includes T bones steak it cost €75 and worth it! Strongly recommend the Tuscana stewing beef and those fresh pasta. Thank you for their service staff was friendly and helpful. Appreciated :)

This was an excellent experience! From the greeting when we arrived, to the taste of the pasta special they provided to start us off, to the wine advice - all first rate! The food was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I'm kind of partial to wild boar ragù and their's was excellent. The rabbit ravioli was very good as well. A well made espresso and some vin santo completed a fabulous meal. Highly recommended.

Our first meal in Florence & how special it was. A very welcoming host & serene surroundings & music. A very traditional Tuscan appetiser, beautifully presented with artichoke, meats, cheeses, figs & jams. Thoroughly enjoyed. What a wonderful experience! Excellent food and service. We ordered the steak and potatoes and the creamy truffle ravioli. Both were delicious! You also have to try the tiramisu and panna cotta. The staff were more than welcoming, attentive, and so grateful. All around 5 stars.

Firstly, Sabina was absolutely wonderful! What great attention and friendliness even with our broken Italian. The restaurant is very intimate and seems family-owned. The food was delicious and made on the spot. We ordered a Caesar salad (you have to try it), spinach (perfect), T-bone steak phenomena, traditional soup (I’m forgetting the name), and for the 2 kids they shared a portion of spaghetti con pomodoro which they enjoyed very much even as picky eaters. It was a very enjoyable experience and we all agreed we would repeat it again in an instant!

I cannot say enough good things about this little gem of a restaurant. We stumbled across it as it sat across from the first church to be founded in Firenze. Not a bad little location for dining to be honest. The whole establishment and staff were devoted to exemplary service. And the food….. Hearty, authentic, bursting with flavour and very reasonably priced. We liked the place so much, we went back again the next day. Over the course of two days we tried the buratta, a multitude of pasta dishes (boar papardelle, coniglio, sausage), ravioli of different varieties, osso bucco. Every little morsel was completely on point. Special praise should go to Vilma, who advised us on both food and wine and nailed it every single time. Her warmth, knowledge of local food and obvious love of Firenze made our experiences engaging, fun and as if we’d met an old friend.

Il locale è carino, non molto grande quindi meglio prenotare prima. La carne è molto buona e anche la pasta. Purtroppo i dolci non ci sono piaciuti sopratutto la crema catalana che sapeva troppo da uovo. Carta di vini molto varia. Servizio abbastanza veloce. Zona centrale comoda a piedi. Prezzo un po’ più alto di altri posti dove siamo stati in zona.

Locale semplice con la tipica piacevole atmosfera Toscana. Menù tradizionale con possibilità di insalate. Ottimo il vino della casa. Assaggiato l’olio in tavola, immediatamente il gestore ci ha portato un aromatico delizioso olio nuovo Tenuta di Nozzole. Tagliere di salumi e formaggi di varia stagionatura, con confetture di cipolle e peperoni. Completato con un piatto di ottima sbriciolona. offerto dal simpatico gestore. Carne ottima nei ragù dei pici alla chiantigiana ed al cinghiale. Offerti infine dal anche cantucci e vin santo. Circa 25€ a testa con buoni piatti e tanta gentilezza ed attenzione per il cliente.

The vibe and staff were beyond excellent. Very polite and cozy restaurant. I saw numerous positive reviews about the off menu carbonara so I requested for it. Presentation was great but it was way too salty for me to fully enjoy. Had to drink a lot of water and eat bread to compromise the saltiness. However, the other ragu dish we got was fantastic. I feel that I got the off night dish of the day unfortunately.

It’s a small restaurant located right in front of San Lorenzo Basilica. The waitress was friendly and spoke English well. I really enjoyed the steak, but the pasta could have been better. The prices are quite high.

The food was good. For an early lunch we ordered something light and didn't order any steak. The waitress spoke English and the food was good. Both the prosciutto and bruschetta was excellent! I never had burrata before but it's like mozzarella before it fully formed. So the outside is like mozzarella while the inside is liquidy. The la classica ribollita was very thick and not quick what I expected as a soup but lots of vegetable flavor. I didn't finish it but it was also very good. All my friends seem to like their dish as well.

Cenone di Capodanno discreto. Antipasti buoni ma scarsi per il prezzo, primi piatti poco saporiti), dolci non soddisfacenti. Vino acido e caffè sgradevole. Organizzazione carente: divisi in due tavoli senza preavviso e porta del locale spesso aperta con freddo all’interno. Servizio altalenante. Un’occasione che meritava maggiore attenzione. Alla fine ci è stato regalato del prosecco, apprezzato.
