My husband is Venezuelan, so I’ve been lucky enough to eat some amazing homemade food over the years—and I’ve gotta say, La Parada absolutely delivers the real deal. We just had dinner and WOW. The tequeños were perfection: golden, crispy on the outside, and filled with that gooey white cheese that instantly made me feel like I was at a family party. My husband gave them a big thumbs up! And the burger? Let me just say this isn’t your average American-style burger. This thing was stacked with flavor—sauces, crunchy add-ons, and that over-the-top, messy, delicious experience that Venezuelans do so well. I didn’t even make it halfway before declaring it one of the best burgers I’ve had. The vibe was super friendly, and you can tell the team takes pride in what they’re serving. Even if you didn’t grow up eating this kind of food, you’ll feel right at home here. If you’re in the area, La Parada is 100% worth the stop.
