Last night I went to the whiskey dinner at Aventino’s and it was so amazing. The reception to start w speciality cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres was super yummy. Then we were seated for an amazing appetizer, salad, main course and dessert. It was a set price and so reasonable. The meal also came w 3 different types of bourbon. They do wine dinners in the same fashion and are worth every penny. The service was also excellent! I go to this restaurant often and love it so much. Very happy to support this small, family owned business that has been around for 40 years!!!! What a special gem to have I in the heart of our city!

From the moment we were seated, the ambiance set the tone for a wonderful evening — from the beautifully understated table décor to the perfectly curated music, everything felt intentional and elevated. Our server, Sydney, was an absolute delight: warm, conversational, and extremely knowledgeable about both the menu and the wines. She made the experience feel personal, not just transactional. We were so immersed in the flavors and the pairings that we didn’t even stop to take photos — a true sign of a great meal. Every dish was beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. We enjoyed the steak carpaccio, the caprese salad with crunchy prosciutto, the Rosa tortellini, the eggplant Parmesan, and the salmon and shrimp Mary Frances. Each plate had its own standout identity, with freshness and balance across the board. This was our first visit, and absolutely not the last. A fantastic dining experience — highly recommend.

It was our first time in and the food was awesome. Taja was a great server- she made sure our water was filled and our food order was timely, hot & delicious. We did not have a reservation but fortunately we were seated right away. The space quickly filled and we can see why. We will be back!

Excellent food and friendly staff. We came back after two months. During the first visit, other customers told us done if their favorites. These time we tried the Chicken cannelloni and Lasagna paired with house white and red wines. All are excellent! The restaurant has good taste of decorations too.

Our favorite Italian restaurant located on the west side of Fort Worth. It is a small family owned business with a charming atmosphere. When I first moved to Fort Worth many years ago it was run by the current owners parents. When Chris and Erica reopened the restaurant they kept the recipes and family owned charm the same. Over the years several new dishes were added. My wife and I have tried most of the dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed. I tend to order the pasta and veal dishes while the wife orders the chicken and pasta dishes. If you like cheese the manicotti never disappoints me. I always ask for Samantha as my server but everyone is well trained to provide excellent service.

Very quaint and romantic. They had already gotten our table ready for us before our arrival. The servers were very attentive especially Sydni! Best Amaretto sour I’ve ever had.

They are the best at what they do! Good service and drinks are all top tier! We had our rehearsal dinner here and have come back every time we are in town. Taja was fantastic and so helpful tonight!!

Small authentic Italian. TAJ gave us excellent service. The kitchen does get back up so don’t be in a hurry, the wait is well worth it. We had an appetizer and a bottle of wine bringing the bill to $129.

Dinner was incredible and the service was just as impressive. Samantha took great care of us. We loved the carpaccio to start, and the sea bass, salmon fettuccine, and chicken cacciatore were all outstanding. Highly recommend!

The food here was great. I got the shrimp diablo, which was really good. It all came with garlic bread and starter salads, which were great. My mother got gluten free pasta, though, and she said it was not good. Also, despite the restaurant being mostly empty, it took a while for our food to come out, and we sat for about 15 minutes before even being served water. Would recommend regardless.

In a unique approach to dating, Daniel and I decided to date through the alphabet, exploring new restaurants and experiences along the way. Our first stop, Aventinos on Camp Bowie, set a promising tone. The cozy atmosphere was elevated by it wonderful service, particularly our waitress. The beef carpaccio was incredible its rich flavor and tender texture, accompanied by some of the best Italian bread I have ever had. Unfortunately, the veal florentine was slightly undercooked which made it slightly chewy and the lack of seasoning made it not the best of experiences. The bronzini caperi did not meet expectations either unfortunately, as it was served without any... seasoning or the lemon, garlic butter sauce described on the menu, which left the fish unfortunately dry and with an eggy taste from the batter. It was also missing the linguine pasta that was also described on the menu.. On the other hand, the dessert was a highlight would order this ever time, and the limoncello martini was a light and crisp!

I am so sad. We always come here and went for New Years Eve. The food is always so good! Our salads took maybe 45 minutes to come out. Usually only takes about 10. There were maybe 10 guest in the building so it was not busy at all. I ordered the Alfredo with chicken and it had 0 flavor. I did not even finish. I would not recommend this item. This is my favorite place but not sure what happened this night.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate my grand mother’s birthday, and politely asked if we could bring a birthday cake. The manager was very rude and began to raise his voice at us embarrassing us in front of the other patrons. He claimed it was against the health code to bring in outside food. We have owned restaurants in Fort Worth and are well aware of the health codes and there is no such rule. It is dependent only on the restaurant if they allow it or not. We chose to leave and went to Campisi’s down the street, and they gladly accepted us and our birthday cake and we had wonderful time there. I highly recommend staying away from Aventino and going to Campisi’s instead!!!!!
