First time brunching at GlenPharmer Distillery in Franklin & certainly not the last. I started with a Bloody Mary topped with bacon & a beautifully grilled shrimp. There were so many great choices, but I landed on the short rib hash over crispy tater tots with cheese curds & layers of incredible flavor. I had to ask for a side of their blueberry butter (the one that comes with the chicken & waffles) to spread on my sourdough & wow… game changer. My second cocktail was the “Don’t Call Me Shirley,” which was just as good. They’re also a distillery with many handcrafted spirits, which makes the cocktail menu even more impressive. Bar service from Steph was on point from start to finish. Already looking forward to the next visit.
I cannot speak highly enough of GlenPharmer. I have never had a bad meal and even had my wedding reception in the upstairs event space. Pat and Beth were great to work with and extremely responsive. They were on site the day of the wedding and made sure everything was perfect. Sara, the new event manager, that began less than two weeks before my wedding went above and beyond to ensure I was at ease with the planning and set up process. She was willing to meet with me a week after getting hired to make sure everything was set for the wedding. Sara told me that she would take care of set up and clean up the day of the wedding - that was a huge weight off my shoulders! I felt everything was being taken care of and I could be perfectly present at the reception to celebrate. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. Our guests have talked about it the past few weeks. They loved the food (including the generous portions), enjoyed the cocktails (as well as the spacious bar), and always spoke to how it was unique space with high ceilings which made it special. I have family members who now want to come back for dinner and my officiant mentioned that he had done many weddings, but GlenPharmer as venue stood out to him. Pat told me he wanted everyone to feel like it was their special day and would want it to run the same way it would run for his daughter. I truly believe that Pat and Beth put their heart and soul into the events to ensure they meet your vision.
GlenPharmer is an amazing place to dine if you enjoy excellent craft cocktails and outstanding food! The restaurant is inside a historic mill, so the restaurant features a lot of machinery from the mill, which makes for an outstanding atmosphere. The service is top-notch, being prompt but not overly fast, letting you enjoy a slow paced meal without feeling like you are left waiting for anything. The food is delicious too, I highly recommend the pork bao bun and the scallops. The bao bun was perfectly soft, and the pork flavor combined with pineapple was amazing. The scallops were perfectly fried and salted, and the peaches were soft and juicy. If you’re looking for a great place to eat and drink in Franklin, there’s no better restaurant and distillery than GlenPharmer.
Sunday brunch was delicious! The fruit compotes on the French toast made me not even use the maple syrup. Husband had the short rib hash and enjoyed it as well. Pear cocktail for me, Bloody Mary for him. Kelley was a great server, too!
By far one of the greatest restaurants in the area. We started off with some amazingly crafted cocktails. We then ordered some unbelievably appetizers, we opted for the Hummus plate, crab and corn dip, and the Watermelon, they were all so good. Although we barely had any room left, our entrees came and they did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken and waffles, not something I would normally order but it was the best I ever had, I will probably never order it anywhere else because nothing could ever top this one. Our server Nataliya was extremely friendly and attentive and also talked us into espresso martinis and a dessert to split with out group. We sat out on the covered bridge which created an amazing atmosphere with the rushing river down below. I will come back here many many more times!!!!
Great experience at GlenPharmer distillery for a business meeting this week. Good and drinks were amazing and the location is will done and maintained. I had the sausage pasta which was amazing. That housemade sausage is to die for. We had a bunch of appetizers but I failed to get pictures of them as they disappeared to quickly😁. The calamari, steak bites and the crab do were all gone working minutes. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area and I'll be back my next trip.
So far I’ve been here for a drink, an anniversary dinner, and a wedding. 10/10 phenomenal experiences every time. Extremely nice and friendly staff. The alcohol is on another level. To the point I made my local package store start stocking the entire vodka line. Could not recommend them enough not only for the location and services but for some of the best tasting alcohol I’ve ever found. The cranberry smash is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had
A Gem for Craft Spirits & Cozy Date Nights!GlenPharmer Distillery in Franklin, MA is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates small-batch, handcrafted spirits made with local ingredients. Just a short drive from Boston, this place offers a perfect date-night vibe—warm, inviting, and full of character. We’re huge fans of their signature Bhut Vodka (भूत), which shines in every form—whether in a smooth martini, a creative cocktail, or a bold Old Fashioned. Their gin and whiskey are equally impressive, with unique, well-balanced flavors. The cocktails are innovative yet approachable, and we’ve loved every one we’ve tried on past visits too! The food menu is a great complement—we enjoyed their wood-fired flatbreads and hearty sandwiches, though we’d love to see more vegetarian/vegan entree options for those with dietary restrictions. Bonus: They offer occasional distillery tours, which are a fun way to learn about their process. Overall, GlenPharmer is a standout—great drinks, great vibes, and a fantastic addition to the local craft scene. We’ll definitely be back, and hope to see even more plant-based options in food next time! Cheers! 🥃✨
GlenPharmer Distillery is an absolute dream wedding venue! We had our wedding there on 10/5/24 and it was nothing but perfect! Pat & Beth, the owners, brought every single detail to life and were an absolute pleasure to work with. Karsan, events manager, is just the BEST to work with! I enjoyed every minute of it and she truly catered to my every need & want. We did a full venue buyout, buying out the event space upstairs, along with the restaurant downstairs, and the amount of compliments we received on the entire venue space was endless - it was a dream day and I’m so grateful. GlenPharmer has a special place in our hearts! 🤍
Perfect date night seated at the bar. Our bartender, Charlie, was fantastic with his service and timing. Each drink looked and tasted incredible. We split the ceased salad, butter chicken flat bread, and charred octopus. Every plate was sent back empty. I loved sitting at the bar and getting to see the artistry that went into each cocktail (what I’m assuming is a smoked Manhattan!!) and seeing Justin the bar back fly around keeping everything clean and well stocked. Clearly great team cohesion here which goes a long way in providing the excellent service received. Glenpharmer is the only spot in town I recommend to people visiting, never lets me down!
The food was Amazing. And the whisky was great too. I tried GlenPharmer American Straight Rye 92 proof. This was recommended by the waitress .It was so smooth. The pear blossom was good too. The pork Bao buns were mouth watering. We also had a short rib flat bread and a Southern chicken. They were good too. This has the pub experience and the staff is great too. Even though we went on a Wednesday night it was still crowded.
First time trying, we were absolutely blown away!! The drinks were all amazing - my boyfriend even said the two drinks he got were the best bourbon and whiskey craft cocktails that he’s ever had! My margarita was also great. It was refreshing to go somewhere in this area with such a wide variety of craft cocktails. The food was equally amazing, I got the short rib grilled cheese and tomato soup which was to DIE for, my boyfriend got the pork shank which also was so so delicious. For dessert we got the mini doughnuts, so yummy!! Our server, Kat, was so attentive, knowledgeable of all drink and food items, and very kind/personable to talk to! Overall, 10/10, truly an awesome place. We will be back!
Awesome spot! The martinis and mixed drinks are delicious. We all got the smash burger and it was great! Truffle fries are great and the portions are perfect!
We had the absolute best experience having our wedding at GlenPharmer Distillery. Owners Beth and Pat made sure the venue was ready for us, including the new addition of a mini bridal suite area. From the very beginning, Karsan and her team made our vision come to life with care, creativity, and professionalism. Karsan was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. No question was too small, and she always made me feel heard and supported. One of my favorite moments was when she helped me brainstorm our centerpiece idea, and then went above and beyond to bring it to life exactly how I had imagined it. On the big day, she made sure I had a drink in hand, food on my plate, and absolutely no stress. She kept everything organized and handled any last-minute changes. Like adding a plus one just two days before, with complete ease and grace! The venue itself was stunning: high ceilings, a spacious bar, and the perfect rustic-chic vibe we were dreaming of. We even got to hang up three custom banners of our beloved cats, which truly made the space feel like us. Our guests could not stop raving about how excellent Karsan and the staff were. I can't thank Karsan and the GlenPharmer team enough for making our day so special. If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines charm, style, and an amazing team, this is it!!
Great drinks and cocktails! Really pleasant atmosphere and interior. The patio is outstanding. Just found out that they have comedy show coming in July. Exciting to be there. Book in advance if you want to eat before 9pm)
Excellent drinks. Food looked great, but didn’t eat here on this visit. Next time, for sure. Right off 495, great location.
We like our smokey old fashion and passion fruit pineapple margarita. Miso glazed tuna with soba noodles tastes so good. Molten chocolate cake is delicious as well.
My friend and I took our wives on a double date here yesterday. First off, I must say that I was quite impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant. When entering, the exposed stone of the building is visible and combined with a welcoming glass foyer. The distillery is through a glass viewing door to the immediate right of the hostess stand. Before being seated, our waitress gave us the option of being outside or inside. The outside dining area looks amazing, but due to the humidity and heat outside- we chose the main dining area indoors. The AC made the temperature very comfortable. The menu here changes constantly with the seasons, but I chose the pan seared scallops since I’m a big seafood guy. The scallops came out with a delightful seared crust and they were cooked to perfection (no rubbery scallops here). There was a delicious bed of vegetables beneath the scallops and the entire plating presentation was great. My favorite part of the dish was the small drop of sauce added onto the top of each scallop; it had a magnificently zesty taste that excited my taste buds and left me wanting more. My wife tried the chicken and that too had a delightfully unique sauce with a hint of citrus. It came presented over mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables; she was too stuffed by the generous portion size to even finish the dish. In addition to the amazing food, the drinks were quite enjoyable also. I tried the spring drink they had on the menu and also the Mai Tai; both were delicious. My wife’s friend was not a fan of the lavender/gin drink. My only disappointment here is the lack of any wines. While it is a distillery, having a small selection of wines would definitely broaden the appeal of the restaurant for this disinterested in hard liquors. Overall, I really enjoyed the dining experience and atmosphere. The service was great, the food didn’t disappoint, and I left wanting to come back for another meal… definitely recommend this restaurant for a special event or if you’re looking for an intimate atmosphere to gather with friends.
Our first visit to GlenPharmer. From drinks to dinner, everything was excellent. Very warm and comfortable atmosphere.
It was so lovely here! Their drinks are amazing, and I think that it's great that they offer both cocktails and mocktails so that there's something for everyone. The food was also fantastic. The truffle fries are to die for, and the entrees tasted delicious too. Even the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend!
I stumbled upon GlenPharmer distillery and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to take my best friend for her birthday. I was able to book a distillery tour and a dinner reservation. First, I want to say I absolutely loved my experience here. Patrick and Beth were so wonderful to talk to. Patrick gave us the tour and explained everything so wonderfully. I learned so much. We then got to enjoy a tasting of the different spirits they make, so tasty! Next we went to the tasting room for dinner. Our waitress Mena was excellent, professional and very attentive. Our food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The drinks we enjoyed with dinner were beautiful and tasty. I love that this is a local family that owns and operates this business. I was so fortunate to find this place and I look forward to visiting again very soon. I highly recommend GlenPharmer Distillery!
Fabulous Brunch! The buffet spread was beautiful! The atmosphere relaxing. The staff was friendly and attentive! Drinks were unique and delicious! It was an enjoyable time! Julie was exceptional! Thanks for all the advice for when we come back!
First-timer this past weekend! I thought the biggest draw would be the amazing spirits, but the food was out of this world as well. Highly recommend the flatbreads and the chicken and waffles- but I believe I could have closed my eyes, pointed at the menu, and been happy with whatever that brought me! I purchased the bean vodka for my fiance and it is the only thing he has been able to drink on the rocks ever, he absolutely loves it.
I went with my wife everything was amazing. They serve the own alcohol only but that is actually a plus. The drinks was amazing you can forget about beer and try there cocktails they were mind blowing. Our server was very friendly and efficient too, I think her name is Nina. The prices is above average but the food was excellent. The Patio has it's magic too.
I wish I took more photos but I had such a lovely time and the owners got me so drunk that I didn't even take my phone out after the tasting so.. take that as you will. Onto the review! GlenPharmer is a distillery owned and operated by a married couple, and with the level of customer service, you can tell that there is a "direct to consumer" feel. My tour and tasting was hosted by the Owner/President Pat himself, and the entire time he was the epitome of a consummate professional, while exuding the confidence of an experiences brewer. Honestly, before we even tasted the spirits, Pat had won over our group of curmudgeons, and when we were punched in the pallette by the loquacious liquor, it sealed the deal. We left our private tour and tasting quite full and quite drunk, after sampling 8 of the options (brewed and bottled On Prem, by the way), and having a full dinner. The only regret is that the whiskey isn't ready to be bottled, but there is no doubt in my mind that I will return in November to make sure I have a few bottles to hoard away for the cold New England winter. Arrange transportation and find your way to GlenPharmer, because you will have an experience like no other.
We went for brunch and had a wonderful experience. Brunch cocktails were good. We had a bloody Mary and Pharmosa. For food we had the Pharmer omelet which was good- standard omelet. Homefries were great but some were a little undercooked. Chicken and waffles was delicious! Great flavors and just so so good. They didn't have a kids menu so we ordered the banana pancakes with toppings on the side. These were also excellent. The maple syrup is extra yummy. It's a great brunch experience when looking for something a little better than standard brunch fare. It is pricier of course but that's expected. Will definitely be back.
Artisanal craft spirits are masterfully crafted with a unique blend of flavors. From their smooth whiskeys to their innovative botanical gins, each sip is a delight. The rustic charm of the distillery and the passionate team behind it create a warm and inviting atmosphere. A must-visit for those seeking exceptional spirits!
Had a great experience here…from the drinks, to apps, to meals, to the service (Connor), and management. The manager (Michael) came over & made our group event exceptional by bringing “cheesecake” for a golden girls evening celebration. Toured the facility & have recommended the location to friends for booking an event. Such a great evening out sitting under the covered bridge! Conveniently located right off the highway (495) too. Highly recommended!
Cocktails and food were excellent! Portions were generous. Setting felt upscale yet relaxed. Cool building all around. Would be a great spot for an event. Easy to get to.
Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. The Bean Vodka is quite honestly one of the best things I have ever tasted. Pumpkin Cold Brew Martini was perfection. Big thank you to our server, Kristen and the manager Mike. Can’t wait to come back!
Sat right down with reservations. Place filled up pretty quickly around 6:30pm on a Friday night. Food was excellent, drinks were fantastic. Black Tea & Mai Tai in the photo. Service was spot on. We'll be back again!
This place never disappoints. The food is always very good and the menu changes enough to keep me coming back. The cocktails are always on point! But the best part is able to buy a bottle on the way out.
This is an old mill building in Franklin, that was beautifully updated to become a distillery and restaurant. We came for a dinner and the food was excellent. Strongly recommend the Skillet Chicken. It is interesting that as a distillery they only serve spirits and cocktails. I tried a flight of liquors with dinner and it was fun. Both the food and drinks were excellent.
GlenPharmer Distillery is an absolute gem in Franklin, MA! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. The tour of the distillery is fascinating, offering insights into the meticulous process behind GlenPharmer’s existence, naming, and exceptional spirits. I particularly enjoyed tasting their exceptionally clean and crisp vodka, spiced rum, new release Doli, and their best-selling Bean. Each one had a unique and delightful flavor profile. The tasting room is another highlight, with a menu that perfectly complements their drinks. I absolutely loved their hand-crafted cocktails “The Bees Knees” and “Smoking Volcano”. The combination of flavors is like a work of art (chef’s kiss). The attention to detail and commitment to quality at GlenPharmer Distillery is evident in every sip. Whether you're a spirits enthusiast or just looking for a great place to unwind, this distillery is a must-visit. 10/10 recommend!
I've been to GlenPharmer for both brunch and lunch and both were phenomenal. The staff is super friendly and helpful and very knowledgable on the menu. The food and drink taste delicious and the ambiance is great. Lots of parking on site and easy to find. My favorite place to spend a weekend!
This is my second visit for food and drink, this time as a send-off dinner for some extended family who were in town. End-to-end, this was a superlative experience. The food and spirits were excellent, surpassing what I recall from my prior visit. The octopus appetizer and smoked cocktails (presented under a bell jar with smoke) were particular highlights. Our server was also one of the most efficient I've ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GlenPharmer and look forward to another meal soon!
I would highly recommend GlenPharmer- Their cocktails are perfectly crafted and the food is delicious! We had Hannah as our server and she was so sweet and personable! The covered bridge was so cute to sit at for a night out.
If I could give higher I would, Hannah was awesome, made some of the most delicious drinks. Great atmosphere, vibe, all good things! I recommend this place to my friends anytime they ask about somewhere fun with good drinks!
First time here. Natalia was our server who was amazing. We sat outside and the atmosphere was also just as good. I had a smoked old fashioned and my guest had a purple rain, both of these drinks were suggested and they didn't fall short of the recommendation. Food was amazing, would highly recommend the tuna poke and the seared salmon to anyone who would go. I will be back.
Amazing venue!!! We had our wedding reception here on 7/25/25 and could not be happier with our experience! From our initial tour with Beth, to the delicious food by Chef Kevin, and the most wonderful staff, and most especially our event coordinator Karsan who could not have made our experience any better! Karsan truly provided white glove service from beginning to end, and we are grateful for all everyone did to make our event special.
Me and my wife went there for dinner for the first time this past Saturday. What a wonderful wonderful experience. We both ordered the starter and it was amazing. For dinner I got the smash burger with truffle fries and it was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The burger was nice and crispy with bacon and the truffle fries were to die for some of the best fries I’ve ever had. My wife got the chicken and waffles and she said it was amazing. I had a little bit of it and it was fantastic. Hundred percent will be back.
Recently went with a group of 11 people and we all had an exceptional time. The apps, drinks, and main courses were all very good. The service we received in the private room was also very good. I found it to be on the pricey side if Im giving an honest review but I would also say you get what you pay for and everything we had was very good. We drove about an hour to get there and Id do it again for what we recieved. Chicken and waffles was probably best chicken and waffles Ive ever had.
Food drinks and atmosphere were top notch. Service lacked a little bit. Our server want too enthusiastic and didn’t take the time to converse back and forth and answer questions well about suggestions. Hummus board was lit. Short rib bites were lit. Burger was lit. Mai Thai lit. Espresso martini lit. Mocktail lit.
Such an amazing experience all around. The food selection was so well curated and the drinks were delicious. Hannah was our server and she made us feel so at home and kept us happy all night. Will definitely be returning!
The atmosphere here is nice and quaint. The service is very good! Beverage selections are limited to their own brand. Most cocktail options are sweet. The entrees are pricey. Ask them to explain the dish. I find they over season and add to many frills to their dishes (in particular, the chicken pot pie) making them not as enjoyable- sometimes less is more.
The food was solid but the drinks were GREAT! I do think the acoustic are a bit wonky, it was hard to hear/talk. Still, we had a good night and would definitely comeback soon.
Such a cute restaurant! Highly recommend the short rib bites, salmon, and pork bao buns. Our waitress, Julie K., was extremely accommodating and delivered exceptional service. Looking forward to returning in the summer.
The seating was packed, so we chose to sit at the bar, which was a great choice! Service was impeccable. Our bartender recommended the pear blossom, which was delicious. The cranberry cocktail was also good, but spicy. We got the meatball appetizer- they were a little dry but the sauce was perfectly balanced and flavorful. Entrees were the short rib bolognese and chicken and waffles. I was surprised by how good the short rib bolognese was. Absolutely shockingly delicious, better than some classic bolognese has been. Chicken was not dry but was crispy, waffles were fluffy. Classic maple syrup and thick cut bacon. A great "breakfast for dinner" meal!
I mean, it was alright. The atmosphere was nice on a Saturday night. It’s a bit noisy but it’s expected. You get an older crowd that looks like they just finished golfing. The food was just okay. We had a Caesar salad with no meat, margarita flat bread, octopus something (this was the most disappointing due to texture), chicken and waffles, and cocktails (the roast and toast and some berry cocktail) Would we come back? Mmmm maybe. But it wouldn’t be our go to place distillery.
I made a reservation for brunch two months in advance to celebrate my now fiancés and I’s anniversary, which happened to fall on Easter. We were excited to go to GlenPharmer because we loved their infused drinks. My fiance was planning on proposing to me on this day after brunch. When we got there, it was this weird-styled buffet for ~$50/per plate. There was no email, no phone call stating this change in brunch. The only phone call/email I received was our confirmation for our reservation that I made two months prior. I already had in my head what I wanted for brunch from there, but they weren’t taking any separate orders. My fiance spoke to the MANAGER and explained, in private, how he was going to propose to me on this day and it was our anniversary. THE MANAGER brushed us off and gave him an attitude. Incredibly poor management skills all around. I’m ashamed of GlenPharmer because we really liked them. We have not bought a single product of theirs since, no have been back. A TERRIBLE, INCREDIBLY RUDE, and heartbreaking experience. Without so much as an apology.
