Excellent hospitality paired with delicious cuisine. I tried the malai kofta and garlic naan, and they were absolutely up to my expectations, hitting all the right notes. The staff immediately made us feel welcome, greeting us with a genuine smile. Our food was clearly prepared freshly, which meant a bit of a wait, but I can confidently say the quality was well worth the time.

I come here 4-5 times a month I am extremely impressed by this restaurant. They serve the best Indian food in all of Fresno. I have been to 5 different indian cuisines and always find myself comparing to Bay Leaf's 5 star quality food. The butter chicken and tikka masala are very flavorful and filling. Its thick and creamy, and extremely buttery with an addictive spiciness. The garlic naan is unmatched. Packed with a strong garlic flavor seasoned to perfection and the texture of the naan is warm and crispy and chewy. This is my favorite place to eat. I always recommend this place to friends and family. I hope they make more stores and never close down. Best Indian cuisine in the Central Valley.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I went here last night with my girlfriend, and wow—what an experience. The first thing that hits you is how beautiful the space is. The art on the walls isn’t just decoration; it sets the mood. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of life. Pretty much everyone I saw was smiling, which tells you everything you need to know about the vibe. The service was just as impressive. Our server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and kind. She made us feel like we were being hosted, not just served. Now… the food. MY GOSH. Absolute fire. Every bite was rich, bold, and bursting with flavor. I don’t usually eat Indian food often, but after this meal? That’s about to change. This spot is officially my go-to for Indian cuisine. It was so good I couldn’t even finish it all last night—I had to box it up, and even reheated the next day it was still blowing my mind. Between the great food, beautiful setting, and kindhearted service, this place has it all. Highly recommend if you want an unforgettable meal.

Got a chance to go eat at Bay leaf Indian restaurant with my best sis/friend. The food was so tasty, and delicious 😋 . The spices were just right,, made my mouth water with Delicious Spicy flavors! I was savoring every bite !💗🙌 I will definitely come back and refer this place to all my friends and family and my Facebook friends and Instagram friends!

This place is fantastic, the Indian cuisine runs in my family and I am able to detect when the food is good vs not. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in Fresno who is looking to try a new cuisine or to those who are craving Indian food. The service was excellent and the staff is super friendly. The dishes come to your table fresh and hot! I will be coming back time and time again for more delicious food!

I went with my family to try their buffet and it did not disappoint me at all. Their items were limited but all of them taste great. I would rather prefer quality over variety. Their kadai chicken was my favorite. It had lot of flavor and perfect blend of spices. Customer service was great too. Our server Harsh was very friendly and prompt in his service. I would definitely recommend to give a try.

We decided to try this place on a whim and we are glad we did. The gentleman serving us was polite and prompt. The atmosphere is chic, and the restaurant is very clean. We ordered 2 garlic naan, chicken korma mild, lamb korma medium,1 basmati rice , and veggie samosa and we loved everything. The food was served fast and was fresh and hot. We will be coming back!

Came here tonight after 3 restaurants I wanted to go to were closed wanted to try something new in town. First impression was that it was a beautiful restaurant. It's set up beautifully. We came about 45 Min before closing and we were seated immediately. They have a great menu. Reasonable pricing as well. They have vegetarian and non vegetarian options which I love. Tonight I got the mushroom Mattar and rice with some chili Naan and it was fabulous. Just the right spice for me. The rice was a bit on the cold side but the fresh entree over the rice made up for it. Fresh Naan as well. We also got the masala fries which I thought was great not spicy but definitely full of flavor. My partner said it reminded them of scrambled eggs? But in a good way. They Really enjoyed the fries as did I. The food is automatically brought out with a little server robot!! It was such a fun and lovely experience I can't wait to come back and try some other dishes.

I was glad See chili paneer on the menu. A little bummed they didn’t have lunch buffet as some other reviews had mentioned. I should’ve looked closer at the date of those reviews or check. My server was Kamal (hope spelling is right) She was friend Attentive. Seemed like she wanted to make sure I enjoyed my meal. Chili paneer hit the spot I got a medium. I would say it was a little more mild. If I were to go back next time I would order spicy.

Went right when they opened and had the place to ourselves, which was nice. The restaurant was clean and well kept; the bathroom could use a little tidying but it had everything you needed. We ordered butter chicken with 3 different naans and fries, everything was super fresh and yummy😋 We took our leftovers to go because we were super full! The only downside was that the chicken was slightly chewy, so maybe it needed more cook time. Nav was an amazing waitress—very kind and attentive! Would definitely come back!

OK candidly the food was v. good, and for the price, had incredibly generous portions–my wife, son and I will be dining out (with the leftovers) at least two more times!. Friendly and attentive service. Admittedly we were there around 4pm on a Sunday and thus the only diners in the room which accounts for the lower "atmos" score. The restaurant is situated in a rather bleak strip mall area but don't let that put you off. The interior is nicely decorated and I can imagine if full would have a good "vibe". Onion bhajis were delicious, The lamb Balti v. tasty and the rice and naan excellent. However the tandoori chicken was possibly a little on the dry side and the chicken tikka masala a bit too "Heinz tomato soup" (IYKYK) in the taste dept. BUT overall this little slice of India deserves to be found and experienced.
