I grew up in Frewsburg where the dinner bell is a staple. I love re-visiting this old time family favorite from time to time.

It'd the best little old fashion restaurant u will find in our area. Love love love it!

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very pleasant. Didn't take long to order or to be served. Seating is currently limited due to reduced capacity (Covid).

I almost hate to post a review here so I don't have to share it. The food and prices are always excellent. It's like eating at your Mom's if you grew up around here.

GREAT LITTLE MOM AND POPS DINER ! Hand pressed all beef burgers were delicious and juicy. The huge portion of chicken and biscuits was served with real mashed potatoes. Wait staff was very friendly! Reasonably priced. We will be back!

We found this place by accident and so glad we did. It was by far the best meal. I had a piping hot, HUGE piece of fish on my fish sandwich. Even the fries were hot. There's a Turkey sandwich with a weird name that my mom loved and was still talking about the next day. I snuck a bite of my daughter's blueberry pancake because the big berries tempted me and that tasted great! I was so hungry when I got there but was full when I left. The décor is cute and welcoming. There's high chairs. We will definitely go back. It's worth it!

My grandmother and I always go here for breakfast or dinner, when I come to visit, always a fantastic time, and very reasonably priced with great portions. Definitely a huge shout out to the farmers omelette. 😋

Great place for breakfast! I usually get the Tres Amigos and it's always good. The portions are generous and the staff are friendly and attentive. I haven't been there for lunch or dinner but I've heard good things. I only wish the place was a little bit bigger as they're usually very busy on weekend mornings, but they do have outdoor seating when weather permits.

Great diner Experience. Sausage gravy & biscuits the way I'd make it at home. With so many restaurants cutting corners with canned foods ( like this or alfredo sauce and the preservatives that go with it) it is great to enjoy a "home made" style breakfast.

Met a friend here for lunch. Even though they were busy during the lunch rush, staff was friendly and courteous. I enjoyed my western sandwich on homemade bread very much! My friend had chili and sweet potato fries, as well as a fish dinner to go. Good hometown comfort food!

Decent food, large portions, great prices. They also have specials that change frequently. If you're looking for a place to get your typical breakfast food it's perfect.

Just moved nearby. The food is good, and although service can be slow at times, they are generally busy so it makes sense. It's a great option when you are in town if you want breakfast or diner food. Their pancakes are HUGE and delicious, and they currently have pretty good summer menu specials. I recently had the light and fit omelet and it was really good and big enough to eat again the next day for leftovers.

Our favorite dinner place. Weekly specials are creative and delicious. Breakfasts are awesome, the pancakes hang over the plate! The fish fry is the best around and their pies are homemade. They also have great cream puffs, save room for one if they're on the dessert menu. Our drinks are brought to us as soon as we sit down and food is served quickly-no long waits. The whole staff are warm and friendly, it's a place that makes one feel welcome

Absolutely love this place! Go here all the time and have all my meetings here. Great service and quality food! You really get your money's worth here! Their fish is huge and awesome tasting! Even with such a small dining area, they can be packed with customers but never seem to wait more then a couple minutes for a table and then are immediately served. Highly recommend. Small place, nowhere to expand, such a great place to meet up with your family. Great waitresses and the cooks do a great job.

Always busy which is a great sign of a well appreciated place. They're just off Main St (Hwy 62) next to the school and across from the Tops. Great selection with daily specials and wide array of dessert choices. They're presently closed on Tuesdays.

Arrived and waited for a table. I gave my phone number and waited outside for our table to be ready about 8 minutes. Ordered and our food arrived after 15 minutes...fresh and hot. Best pancakes ever. Delicious...highly recommend.

So the serving portions of the pumpkin pancakes were too big! Lots of people. One suggestion...really maple syrup..even if an upcharge...fir this area and the food quality you need the real stuff..not pancake syrup. Thanks for allowing us girls to cackle, drink coffee a d enjoy that breakfast.

If you like those little, out of the way, diners, you will love this. Four out of four of us had the burgers. The meat is sourced locally per our waitress. The food was outstanding. The service was too! Grandma makes homemade blueberry bread as a bonus! $6/loaf

The Dinner Bell is one of my favorite area restaurants. I've eaten breakfast here on several occasions. The menu is diverse and delicious, service and atmosphere friendly, and prices reasonable. I highly recommend their breakfast quesadilla!

The food is always incredible! Had to go back since this was a place my friend Duke took me to for breakfast before he passed away. The staff knew once I asked for his hot sauce. They were so incredible and came to to talk to me. The staff, the food and the atmosphere is always incredible! Keep up the amazing work everyone!!

What an awesomely cozy cool little place. We loved it. We loved our food and service even though it was super busy. All the people working here pitched in to all the full tables. we had stopped at a different restaurant down street but they said we needed a reservation or wait a hour and a half with my kids till seven for food. Nah .next. this place was perfect after I realized my moving out table caused it to wobble I put the shim back under table leg and we were good to go. Friendly place.

Wonderful little spot we found on our trip down from Canada. Waited about 20 mins as we came during rush hour (11am) but the service was prompt and the waitress was very friendly. Can’t go wrong with excellent food and reasonable prices. Hope to visit again sometime!

The BEST hometown breakfast diner! We've been going here for 10 years and even though we've moved, we always stop for breakfast here. The portions are still huge and the prices are very reasonable! Service is sweet and attentive. Always great to see friends and meet new ones. The pancakes are perfect, the scramblers are savory, and the coffee is just right. I hope this place never changes! (Please like this review- I'm only 9 away from Expert Level!)

I was going to Lori's country kitchen which was closed. I remembered hearing people talk about The Dinner Bell having good foods in Wegmans one day so I threw it in my GPS. BEST CHOICE EVER! Amazing staff, reasonable prices, big portions, and amazing flavor. The south of the border scrambler, chili, and breakfast quesodilla are so good! I can't wait to come back and try dinner now there!

I stopped in yesterday after an overnight kayak/camping trip on the Allegheny. I had the King Burger, fries, and a shake. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. Small talk with a local was also nice and is something that makes road trips through small towns and diners like this worthwhile. Will definitely be back if ever back in the area.

Had company from out of state and they could not believe the portion size and they loved the food. We always love the food!

Nice friendly place to get an awesome fish fry. Don't get the big pancake unless you are with your friends and family. There is just no way you can eat the whole thing.

Had a nice large fish fry which is popular. Good tasting fish. Half the fries were overdone. Very good tasty tarter sauce. Some indoor seating and there is picnic tables for take out seating. Wear a mask and they have 50% seating indoors. Multipage Menu and specials are so full of choices it was hard to pick.

Nice little place. Clever dishes and decent prices. Looks and feels like your dad's greasy spoon, but with subtle upgrades like Wi-Fi, toast app pay, brighter lighting, and clean tables. Genuinely friendly service.

They dont offer any low calorie fit foods . I was disappointed because there web page says healthy choices. That wasnt the case , staff are always friendly which is a plus . And prices are like any other restaurant. Didn't see much of a difference.

I liked it the first couple of times I went but I'm just not really sure how much is actually homemade. The gravies? The mashed potatoes? The biscuits? I have my doubts because it's not as good as it could be. It's not totally inexpensive because of that.

Stopped in tonight for dinner. I had the meatloaf and side of chili. Another in the party had a Reuben sandwich, and another had fish fry. The fish fry, I'm told was excellent. The sandwich, although tasty, fell apart rather quickly due to the saurkraut not being drained prior to placing on the sandwich, the moisture turned the bread soggy. The chili found to be bland and watery with very little flavor, it was pretty much hamburg and kidney beans in a cup. The meat loaf has ketchup mixed in and gives it a sweetness that does not pair well with the savory beef gravy mix it's topped with. It's also got a quite mushy texture and doesn't hold shape. This is likely because of over mixing the ketchup. Lastly, the mashed potatoes are clearly instant potatoes. Had I known, I'd had ordered a baked potato. The atmosphere is a bit loud and cramped due to the small dining area. You almost rub elbows with patrons seated next to you and can hear each others conversations. The staff was pleasant.

The cashier doesn’t look happy she was rude !! My 7 year old didn’t like the vibes there !! Not for people of color that’s for sure davidsons is the better place in Jamestown !!!
