Amazing food! Super attentive service by Jesús. Just the right level of noise ( music but not deafening) once again worth every bite. I am a caterer so I like good food.
First off I want to give a special thanks to Chef Ray or Raymond he said. He helped change my flat tire by Wataburger when people wouldn't even stop. He said he just got off from First Watch in which I frequent. Service and the food is awesome there. He wouldn't take my tip as a thank you gesture, but he did say if you can when you can pay it forward. I was having a horrible day and he said left your head up, tomorrow we fight again. 😢 Thank you Ray ❤️ 🙏
One of our favorite restaurants! Food and service is always top notch! Im just curious.. did you guys change the bacon? Please bring the thick bacon back!!
The tri-facta was perfect. Waffle was fluffy and just the right amount of crisp. The bacon was cooked perfectly. The sausage was served with this delicious jelly. And the coffee, strong but not harsh. Very good. Everything was amazing. Perfect spot.
Such a great brunch spot! I went with my bestie and we both had the Farmhouse Skillet Hash—so good. The bacon tasted fresh and high quality, and the multigrain artisan toast with butter was next level. I ordered the Morning Meditation and my friend had the Kale Tonic; both were refreshing, tasty, and healthy. Service was fast and friendly. A truly delightful experience—can’t wait to come back!
MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST RESTAURANT!!!! Our waitress was awesome! We ordered 2 juices from their juice bar and she went out of her way to bring us 2 small juice samples of the 2 we didnt opt for just so we got to try all of them for future reference. Food was out quick and as ordered! Love this place! THE BEST WAFFLE!!!
First Watch is always a solid choice for a fresh and satisfying breakfast, and my visit to their Frisco, TX location did not disappoint. From the cozy atmosphere to the well-executed dishes, this was a great start to the day. What I Ordered: • Mint Mocha Iced Coffee – AMAZING. This drink was as indulgent as it looks—smooth, creamy, and rich with a perfect balance of chocolate and mint. The drizzle of chocolate and the sprinkle of chocolate chips on top added a nice touch. If you’re a fan of mocha drinks, this is a must-try. • Parma Hash – This dish was packed with flavor. It starts with a bed of seasoned potatoes that were crispy on the outside and tender inside, then loaded with Italian sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. The mix of Parmesan and Mozzarella added a nice melty richness, and the fresh herbs gave it a pop of brightness. I had my eggs over easy, which allowed the yolk to mix into everything—definitely the way to go. The whole grain artisan toast was a great complement, with a nice spread of butter and a side of jam that added a touch of sweetness. Final Verdict: First Watch in Frisco delivered a fantastic breakfast experience. The Mint Mocha Iced Coffee is a must-try, and the Parma Hash is a great pick if you love hearty, flavorful dishes with a bit of an Italian twist. Highly recommend!
**A Must-Try for Breakfast Lovers!** Hands down, *The First Watch* has some of the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had—and trust me, coming from Latin America, I know good tacos! I had their Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos with black beans on the side, and they were incredible. The flavors were spot on, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Not only is the food amazing, but the place is spotless, and the atmosphere is so inviting. The service? Outstanding! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their delicious recipes. If you haven’t been yet, you’ve got to check it out!
The family wanted brunch after church so I looked on Yelp for a good place nearby. This came up with a great menu for everyone so we decided to drop in. It was around 1pm and the place was busy, but the hostess said we would be seated within 25 minutes and indeed we were. Everyone there was extremely friendly. Even after our server had come by to take our drink order, because we didn't have any food or drinks at our table, two other servers stopped by to ask if we needed anything. The server provided us excellent recommendations and was very patient with us. We brought our two daughters, 12 and 8, who are both extremely picky. The 8 yr-old ordered grilled cheese, but didn't like the type of cheese it came with and our server was amazingly understanding about it and gave her something else to eat. My husband ordered to chorizo omelet which he really enjoyed and I had the eggs benedict with fruit on the side. The girls both enjoyed their hot chocolate. I wish I could remember our server's name because she was extremely impressive and I would love to give her a shout out here, but I did let her manager know that she made the experience wonderful. Our family and I highly recommend and would absolutely return.
First watch always my 1st choice if I want some healthy brunch for the day! I love that they have seasonal menu. And it always brings me so much surprise. We order the special menu new items called “ Barbacoa Breakfast Burrito”. It looks so cute! Like a dessert hehe. The taste is good! The beef is so tender and juicy. The inside has scrambled egg, potatoes, black beans and two cheeses; covered with avocado, cotija cheese and sauce! Nice and decent burrito! I order the Bacado egg omelette. It’s my first time tried their omelette which a HUGE surprise!! It is super yummy and nice portions! You can choose mix greens or potatoes. I love this dish so much! The toasts are awesome as well! Highly recommend. We also order the gingerbread spiced donut! It is tiny and super super yummy!!! The favor just so good. The service is nice and friendly. But the food took a while( maybe around 10-15mins). It was a week day noon, so it was not a busy time period. But the food still took a while. Other than that, everything are awesome! A nice option for some healthy diet!
I’ve been eating at First Watch since they first opened one in the Plano area. I started going to the Frisco location because the quality of food and service at my preferred location, dropped off tremendously. However, on 03/02/26, my experience at the Frisco location (Preston Rd), wasn’t as expected. I ordered the B.E.C and the Sunrise Granola Bowl. My sandwich was ordered with over medium eggs instead of how it normally comes. I didn’t discover that it wasn’t as ordered until I had eaten half of it. My server then tells me that it didn’t come with over medium. Also, half of the lettuce on my side salad with wilted into a pile of goop. I showed it to my server. He came back with a small saucer and knife and proceeded to scoop the wilted lettuce off my plate that still contained the food I was eating instead of allowing me to remove my sandwich and he take the entire plate to the back. Lastly, my Sunrise Bowl which is supposed to be a healthy dish, although it says nonfat Greek yogurt, came with sweeten yogurt and powdered sugar dusted over the entire dish. Nowhere on the menu does it state that the yogurt is sweetened and that it comes with powdered sugar. I’m completely saddened that my favorite breakfast place has slipped so much. Please fix it!
Our waitress was very dry. I don't think she smiled one time. We got our tickets before we were even halfway finished with our food. The syrup was brought to the table long before receiving our food. By then it wasn't very warm and did little to a cold waffle. The butter didnt even melt. Where we were seated we could see in the kitchen, there was more steam coming out of the trash can than our plates. Our coffee was like warm and was much needed on unusual cold day. No refill of water. This was our first time eating at First Watch. We have never not left a good tip.
First Watch as a whole offers good food, good service at a reasonable price. However, this location is quite disappointing when it comes to serving good food and good service. I ordered my usual avocado toast with fried eggs, medium. What I got was small, slightly burnt toast and a hard yolk in my fried eggs. I brought it to the server’s attention, and the response was just as disappointing: “With eggs, it’s just trial and error; it’s difficult to get it right each time”. And, the remake of the eggs was another “error”, broken yolks.
Do not waste your time here unless you want to be antagonized and neglected by their kitchen staff. There were 3 front of house people who made things right and I didn’t catch their names but it was two guys that had been working in the front of house and then, our waitress Cassie. None of the following was their fault. It took us 45 minutes to get one of the two appetizers we ordered. So naturally, since the kitchen is in my line of sight I start analyzing what’s going on to see if our food is on the way. After almost an hour, our food came out completely burnt or incorrect. I then see a woman working in the back she was middle aged, heavier set, darker complexion, necklace on (not sure what her name is, but don’t let her near your food) shoveling food in her mouth while handling plates that were ready to go out with her bare hands. She proceeded to touch her hair, mouth, and various other unsanitary objects before I witnessed her touch the actual pieces of food with contaminated bare hands. After I witnessed this I was immediately disgusted and kept looking at what other chaos was ensuing back there. She made eye contact with me and in the most condescending and antagonizing way gave me a smirk and a wave knowing darn well that I’m just looking because I’ve been waiting an hour for my food. She proceeded to mean mug the entire time and I gave her a wave back on my way out and she completely mocked me. Part of me believes she was partially if not fully responsible for my food coming out the way it did and for the fact that a table of 8 that got there after us, were served food before us. Manager was too busy to make this right, but 3 members of staff were very polite, and addressed our concerns immediately. So good on them, but this is the SECOND time we have had an experience like this at this location and we will not be giving them anymore opportunities to ruin our morning ever again. Don’t go here. There are questionable things happening to your food.
When the waitress asks repeatedly if my party was sure that we didn't need to-go boxes to take the food home, that tells you just how bad this experience was. The presentation of the food that came out set us up for an epic failure as it pertained to quality and food substance for the overall spend of $100 for what was ordered. 1 of the 3 pancakes came out luke warm, the omelet was not properly melted and the ingredients inside tasted as if they were warmed in a microwave. The "million dollar bacon" did not live up to that title as it simply tasted like bacon with maple syrup drizzled on it...The overall meal was a complete failure..... There will not be any return trips back as the food quality is right on par with the cooks who are to fault... True breakfast/brunch establishments sell their business through their food taste, quality, and overall presentation that exceeds expectations....Again, this was a spend I could have done without.
