Best NYC-style pizza I’ve had since moving to Texas! Luigi’s went above and beyond today after a third-party delivery delay. They remade our entire order fresh for us to pick up in minutes. Incredible service and even better food. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff and amazing food. The tortellini alla panna and the chicken parm were perfect. My husband and I love this place, has great pricing and delicious food. It’s also a place that we feel happy to be at.
Luigi’s Pizza never misses! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best pizza around. Ray took great care of us and made the whole experience even better — super friendly, fast, and attentive.
Got the calzone and pasta trio sampler, so tasty and fresh. Calzone was amazing, and the staff was super friendly. You can tell this place is a favorite among locals, will definitely be back
This is our go-to pizza place. The food is awesome. Service is great. We’ve been ordering from them for a while and they noticed an error in the online order I submitted. Way above and beyond. 10/10
I looked this place up on Google and food looked great so I thought I would go dine in. I walked in and it looked like just an average quick fix pizza place but everything was a great quality and very delicious. I tried the shrimp Diablo pasta and omg was it soooo good. Highly recommend. The young lady working at the front was extremely busy, but she was so sweet and efficient.
Real ingredients, real digestion. This is the only (read carefully) THE ONLY pizza whose dough won't ferment in your stomach and make you feel bloated, and you know why? Its ingredients are less processed than any other pizza out there. The New York style pizza is great, its flavor evokes memories of a place in my home country, the tomato sauce is fresh and it's worth ordering a calzon just to have it served as a side. I recommend ordering online, because the place is almost always full (obviously). The prices are reasonable compared to what you put in your mouth!!!
I used to live in Frisco and go here pretty regularly. I moved to Plano and go back every once in a while. Still one of the best pizzas in the area. Pizza is what I always get. Used to get meatballs and sausage on the side sometimes too. But usually just pizza. I ordered it online, double Pepperoni, sausage, and tomato. Was ready for pickup in fifteen minutes. Walked in, I was asked if I was there to pick up an order, gave them my name, then they gave me my pizza. Very simple. The pizza was better than I remember, and I remember it being good. I'm looking forward to moving back to Frisco. Too bad they aren't open until 10pm, so I could get it after work. Thanks for the deliciousness.
I was in for lunch and was greeted by a wonderful woman who took my order and explained a couple things to me. She was very pleasant and then yelled my order to the back. The food came out to my table and was piping hot and tasted amazing. The sauce was delicious. If I had more days I would eat there again for sure.
Came here looking for a new pizza place to try in the area. Wow! Luigi's offers so much more than just pizza. The food no matter what you get " pizza, pasta, sub, is phenomenal. The food is very authentic to the new york style of Italian home cooking and the staff are beyond kind. Please do yourself a favor and spend some time here. They offer dine in and take out.
pretty good pizza! i appreciate that the gluten free option is the same price as the regular (though, i think they only have it in medium). most places will do an up charge but this place doesn’t. i had the florentine pizza and it was very nice and fresh. my dad had the pepperoni and i took a slice— very good! very authentic new york style. the lady who runs it has a thick new york accent, too, so you know it’s the real deal haha i will say, the young man running it at the front didn’t exactly make it clear what we were to do when we walked in. we just stood there and he looked at us until we realized we were supposed to order at the counter and then seat ourselves. maybe it’s his first day, who knows. also, our table could’ve used another wipe down update: she just gave me a free slice of cheesecake cause it was my first time and i chose the place! very sweet
Ordered calamari, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and a cheese pizza. The calamari was ok, a bit bland. The fettuccine was also bland. It tasted like it needed butter. It also tasted a bit like raw flour. The pizza was ok as well. The sauce is onbthe savory side. Nothing was made wrong, I just wasn't satisfied with it. The staff was nice and helpful. Due to the pool shop next door, I was greeted with a strong chemical smell. It did go away or I just got use to it.
The pizza was pretty good although I think calling it NY style is a stretch. Obviously there are a lot of NY pizzerias serving different styles, but there is still a particular style that owns that name. This isn't that. Still, it wasn't bad so all wasn't lost. Overall, I had a good meal. Service was fine. Order at the counter and they bring your pizza to the table. They don't serve you at your table beyond delivering your food, so everything else is self service. That is perfectly fine though and I didn't need any more help anyway.
We ordered the Giant Cheese Pizza to go and it was fantastic! A delicious NY Style Pizza! We also had tiramisu for dessert which was excellent too. Luigi's is a great place for NY Style Pizza. Dined in December 2023. The pizza was delicious, but the dining room lacked atmosphere. Tables needed bussing, and it just seemed uninviting. Next time, we will get pizza to go.
Won't be back. The place was empty on a Saturday night at 7. That should've been our sign not to go. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Lasagna and manicotti were edible, but I think they were previously frozen. Pros: The prices on pasta dishes are reasonable and the cheese on the pasta has good bite to it. Cons: Fried mozzarella was awful. Definitely a frozen, mass-produced variety. The cannelloni in the pasta sampler wasn't edible - very bad flavor. The bread was old. We don't recommend it.
The first 2 times we ate from here, we just got the regular cheese pizza & a regular pizza with pepperoni. It was great! This last time we got the meat lovers with jalapeños & extra cheese & it was awful!! The taste of the meat was so nasty. It had a really funky taste that did not taste normal. Especially the sausage, which also did not look normal. I dont know what changed between the past times & this most recent order but huge disappointment. That meat was really really gross & i most likely wont be eating there again.
This is a nice friendly place, BUT the food is not so awesome. The pizza barely has sauce on it. I’m not sure if that’s the New York way of making it but it was dry! The pasta was very dry. I am thinking they use a sprinkle of seasoning because I tasted none. There are other places nearby that taste way better.
