Stopped by around 3pm on a weekday, service was quick and attentive. Food came out pretty quickly. Wasn’t expecting much, but the ramen really surprised us. We just moved from NY and can easily say this is the best ramen spot in Dallas that we’ve tried so far. The soup broth was creamy and umami and the noodles were perfect; they had a nice spring and chew to it. The Hakata Tonkotsu DX had a few more additions, but I felt that the corn was a bit too sweet and slightly altered the taste of the soup compare to the original. The braised thick pork belly was done to perfection—absolutely phenomenally, but we just wish it was a bigger piece. Definitely would recommend!
The vegetable ramen is my favorite food on earth and has never been bad a single time I’ve been. Please please please never remove this item, I’ve never had ramen better. I also love the fun of the staff having to greet every guest in Japanese.
Marufuku Ramen is amazing best experience you will ever have. The noodles are truly one of life’s simple yet unforgettable pleasures. Few dishes combine comfort, flavor, and versatility the way a perfect bowl of ramen does. From the very first bite, you can tell there’s something special about it — the way the noodles soak up that rich, savory broth, the aroma that fills the air, and the depth of flavor that seems to warm both body and soul. Whether it’s a simple instant bowl or a handcrafted masterpiece simmered for hours, ramen has a way of turning even the most ordinary moment into something memorable. The noodles themselves are pure magic — chewy, springy, and full of life. When cooked just right, they hold the broth perfectly, creating a harmony of texture and taste that feels both satisfying and comforting. Every bite delivers that perfect balance between softness and bite, especially when paired with tender slices of pork, soft-boiled eggs, bamboo shoots, or scallions. But what makes ramen truly amazing is how it adapts to every mood and craving. Spicy miso, creamy tonkotsu, shoyu, or shio — each variety tells a different story, rich with regional and cultural influences. What’s even better is how accessible ramen is. You can find it in five-star restaurants or humble street stalls, and it never disappoints. Even a simple pack of instant ramen, with a few added touches — an egg, green onions, or sesame oil — can taste like something out of a chef’s kitchen. It’s the kind of food that brings comfort after a long day, fuels late-night creativity, and satisfies cravings like nothing else. Ramen noodles aren’t just food — they’re an experience, a mood, and a celebration of flavor in every bowl. Once you’ve had great ramen, nothing else quite compares.
Okay so 5 stars on everything usually is just trying to business please or over exaggerate the experience. I’ve been on many dates here and one thing I’ll say is, I’ve always left satisfied. Even if the date didn’t go as planned I can always count on this place to deliver when it comes to flavor and experience. You can openly talk to your server without feeling like an obligation. The place is clean, fresh, and has amazing lighting to make anyone feel comfortable. I wish they had larger parking area but that’s out of control of the business I’m sure. Bathrooms clean, floor isn’t dirty, and food is amazing. I always get the hakata dx, it is the bomb dot come for your taste buds. I’m a novice ramen eater but I’m super picky and can say this dish is delish. Enough for me to slurp the broth. If you haven’t tried this place, give it a shot. It may be your new once a month authentic ramen dish destination! This is just my opinion and hope this helps indecisive people about where to go for some good ramen! Thank you and god bless! 🤗
The ramen soup was rich and flavorful, with a nice touch of sweetness at the end. It came with two thin slices of pork, a whole egg, and thin noodles cooked just right. However, the soup had a lot of seasoning — so for people like me who are sensitive or allergic to seasoning, it might be a bit much. Customer service was okay, not great but not bad either. Overall, still a good place if you enjoy strong flavors.
This ramen shop is super fantastic and the long wait is an indicator. The Hakata Tonkotsu ramen is their most popular item on the menu, let's not forget that incredibly juicy and fresh chicken kaarage. I love the thin noodles that are served with the broth. It soaks up every umami filled flavor. The price is reasonable for the quality and portion.
I had such a great experience at this ramen spot today! The service was friendly and attentive, and my food came out super fast. The layout of the restaurant is clean and inviting.. I sat at the bar and got to chat with some of the staff, which made the experience even better. The vibes were great and the ramen hit the spot. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and good energy!
The pilgrimage to Marafuku has become ritual—each visit a search for that perfect bowl of Hakata-style Tonkotsu ramen. My wife and I have slurped our way through Tokyo’s neon backstreets and Fukuoka’s quiet corners, and still, this place holds the line. The ramen? Always sublime. The bun bites, karaage, edamame? Reliable hits. Hot sake, Asahi on tap, and the best seat in the house: right at the bar, where the heat from the kitchen kisses your face and you can watch the crew craft your dinner with the kind of focus usually reserved for surgery. No matter the day, you’ll find the chef back there—doing any task that needs doing, eyes always half-glued to that pot of rolling Xanadu, feeding it like some ancient thing that demands respect. The pork in every bowl? So tender, so revered, you start to imagine pigs lining up for this guy, onions on their backs, like they know they’re headed somewhere holy. Making Tonkotsu ramen isn’t a recipe—it’s devotion. At least 12 hours of coaxing magic out of bones and broth. In a country where time is money and corners are currency, this kind of labor is rare. But here, someone’s always working, someone’s always eating, and love—real, unspoken, obsessive love—gets ladled into every bowl. Whatever it costs? Gladly.
I recently went to this spot for lunch on a Friday, and it was perfect timing—it wasn’t too busy, so the atmosphere felt nice and relaxed. The food was absolutely amazing. The ramen had a wonderful depth of flavor with a hint of Shichimi tōgarashi and a subtle seafood taste that really elevated each bite. I especially loved the extra texture and spice from the toppings! On top of the great food, the waitress was super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying and flavorful ramen experience!
Marufuku has some of the best ramen in town! My partner and I usually come once a week and the Chicken Paitan is amazing each & every time. Depending on the server, service can be hit or miss as far as re-filling drinks/water & checking up on us but we usually get paired up with our regular waiter, who is amazing! I forget his name but he remembers our orders every time and is so attentive to us.
09-22-2025 Ambiance: Inviting, clean and fully stocked with happy juice (liquor for your enjoyment). Ordered: -Hakata Tonkotsu- rich broth, delicious! -Hakata Tonkotsu DX- same as above but more meat (braised thick pork belly) and corn. -Mentaiko Bowl- fresh masago with flavorful sauce. -Gyoza- it was piping hot, not the best I've tasted elsewhere. -Chicken Karaage- tasty seasoning. Service: We enjoyed our experience and interactions with Sam, pleasant server.
Small Ramen place where the menu is small but everything is made in house. I had the chicken Ramen broth which was very flavorful. Got the add on chicken which was decently flavorful but a little on the sweet side for me. Serving of noodles cane in a small bowl but don't let that fool you. I was quite satiated and did not leave hungry or stuffed
First time at Marufuku and I think a return visit is in order. The ramen broth (chicken and pork) and noodles were fantastic. It's a little pricey for the portion size but it's worth the spend in the end. The pork buns were a pleasant surprise with a burst of fresh flavors. Very good. The soy dressing on the salad had a little kick to it and was another pleasant surprise. Will definitely go back and try the chicken broth next time!
