Gong Cha

Based on the experiences and ratings given by other people, this place has improved. The drink I ordered was the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls and it resulted perfectly (just the way I liked it). The tea was made well and didn’t have any grainy or powdered texture, so I assume it was mixed correctly. With the boba it was soft and chewy unlike other places. They gave a heaping amount of the pearls, which meant they did not underfill and I was able to get my moneys worth. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I hope I’ll be able to visit again in the future.

I went here for the final fantasy 14 collaboration. The drinks were absolutely delicious. I got the matcha and fat chocobo flavor and a peach drink. You have to buy three drinks, but they all don't have to be the final fantasy ones.

I’ve had a lot of milk tea, and honestly, Gong Cha is one of the few places that actually do it right. Great service by Jesse. Will come back whenever I’m around.

Since I prefer less sweetness, I customized the sugar level to 30%, and it was perfectly balanced for me—not too sweet, just rich matcha goodness. I will come back to try other drinks soon. Based on my experience today, I highly recommend this place!

All employees are very attentive and the cashier that i interacted today was helpful and patient with me as i ordered. Nothing wrong with the staffs as some reviews said. I think they are already improved than before. High quality ingredients! No any food violation. Highly recommended.

One of the good places to just chill, study, work remotely, hangout, or simply grab a boba drink to go. It's a smaller place but they have wifi, they have power plugs for your laptops, they have board games for breaks, it's nice. Boba is also good! Ordered a standard green milk tea with boba topping and it was creamy, and the tea taste is pretty strong. It was pretty wholesome! Definitely recommended if you need to do some work/study and you need to change it up a bit.

Drinks tasted great ! Got the strawberry slush with some coconut jelly, and a passionfruit with star jelly. Super flavorful and yummy! The cups even had some halloween stickers on them, which I thought was cute. The only complaint I have is that the straws they give you are really flimsy and cave in when you try to get some jelly from the bottom of your drink, they also seem to snap really easily. It's not a plastic straw.

Casual little place for caffeinated and non caffeinated drinks. They even let you control the level of sweetness in your beverages. Just missing some more fruit flavors on their menu.

This place is great, never really had any problems with customer service or the drinks. Would definitely recommend if you want some good bubble tea. They use to have more options a couple of years back but it looks like they removed a few items. I would recommend they look into developing an app since all of their competitors have one. It’ll them to promote seasonal drinks. Usually I don’t know of any season drinks until I’m standing at the pickup area and see a sign. Which I don’t even know if it’s outdated or not because it looked kinda old.

Good boba but I had to wait 40 to get my drink after I ordered it online. One person working from what I saw.

I am not a fan of their milk tea, but the boba(pearls) were not bad. Still better than Kung Fu tea overall.

Not real black tea. Over-priced, semi-dissolved powered ice drink that tastes gross. Go to Starbucks - it's cheaper and better.

Out of the 10 times I’ve been to this location they usually have tapioca balls 3 of those times. They’re usually always out of boba by the time 9pm hits which is in inconvenience since we drive 20 minutes to get here. When they have boba though it’s really good but I just hate how inconsistent their products are

We’ve been going to this place for years. We were planning to get boba here for dessert after having dinner at Marufuku Ramen, so we parked here. Little did we know they enforced a towing where you have to be a customer the moment you leave your car or they will tow it. The business owners and the towing company they cooperate with are taking advantage of their towing signs that are very hard for anyone to notice on the entrance of the lot. Please dont support the businesses in that building. They have a scammy towing shenanigans.

Whoever is there now looks like she hates her job and wasn’t very welcoming. Drink doesn’t taste right. Literally taste like water…I’ll just go across the street to my usual spot around here instead of going there. Plus the drinks here are expensive here for the results I got, water boba.

Poor customer service. I ordered a drink and turned around to ask for it cold instead of hot. Rather than getting my order corrected, I was asked to pay for another $6.50 for a drink. I asked them couldn’t I just give the drink back since I hadn’t drank it, and they said no, that I would just need to pay for another drink if I wanted it changed hot to cold. The other drinks were watered down, and the boba was sour. Very strong sour taste. Will never go to this location again.

The establishment was really dirty. I looked at floors and they were really disgusting and the person that was serving us had a really bad attitude. I would not recommend people to come here just because of the establishment, the floors, the table and the chairs being really dirty. I can only imagine how the kitchens are, and I regret purchasing something knowing that the floors are disgusting.

I used to think this Gong Cha was a good location. Boy has this changed. DO NOT go here. Customer service is terrible. I am signed up for their rewards, and I got a message saying I have a Buy One Get One (BOGO) free drink at this specific Gong Cha location. The location is kind of far for me, but since it was BOGO, I decided to go. When I showed up on February 26, 2021, the cashier said they do not allow BOGO at this location. I showed her my phone saying that I had received a free Buy One Get One Free coupon for Gong Cha at this specific location, but she would not honor it. I asked to speak to the manager and she did not let me. I then asked for her name because I wanted to ask the manager eventually about it, but she would not let me. She eventually offered me $1 off 1 drink instead, but she soon took back that offer. I have used previous BOGO coupons for Gong Cha at this location without any issue. But this cashier was being very rude to me and would not honor a coupon that was specific for this location (it did not expire yet either). I am very annoyed because of this and I believe something needs to be done.

This is an honest review from a bubble tea lover. 1. If you order no ice, they will have 1 Inch less drink inside your boba tea order. 2. Customer service sucks here honestly. The people are unfriendly and absolutely make you want to go away. 3. We ordered "Strawberry Green Tea" and they gave us "Jasmine" tea. Wrong product! We drink tea regularly, and this was a wrong taste/order. 4. You argue with a customer who has membership 🙄 and we were asking for "proper content". Why should asking no ice or with ice have different liquid 🤔 content?

OMG. I ordered a GREEN TEA strawberry and they mixed JASMINE tea instead!!! Drinks here are not only more expensive, but they cheat you out of product when you ask for no ice. The staff argue with customers that the managers have instructed them to remove product when ordering drinks with no ice. This is CHEATING the customers. So I was thinking the green tea strawberry drink is AWFUL because the green tea is so bitter, meaning it is not fresh and there is no strawberry flavor, but it’s not even the right tea!!! The boba is also not fresh. It’s hard to chew and tastes days old. The mango drink has also been watered down when asking for less sugar. So they ultimately have bad practices like cheating customers out of product, watering drinks down when asking for less sugar, and giving inferior boba that is old. We paid close to $16 for two drinks that were just absolutely the worst. A VERY disappointing experience with ZERO value. We will NEVER return. Wow. A very lengthy and defensive response instead of humble apologies. No wonder the staff are also rude to their customers. I know my green teas and what you served was NOT green tea. I even went to several other cafes and drink establishments including your competitors and their green teas were NOT bitter like yours was. Thank you for proving my point about your bad business practices.

Lot of mistakes, the sweetness level is never right and they always forget to send straws along with your order.

My kids love this place, that’s why I go here. However, the service is poor, they barely listen to the ice level, add ons - you never get the exact drink you asked for. Boba was by default earlier now they don’t add boba unless you pay extra. Also the rewards can never be used. Once I asked to use my rewards for 5 USD, they said I need to pay remaining 2 dollars using cash. Next time I was ready to pay extra with cash but they said I have to spend atleast 15 usd then only I can use 5 dollars reward.

Unfortunately my taro milk tea wasn't mixed properly because the powder in my drink had not dissolved. After taking a sip and tasting nothing but a weird powder texture, I looked at my cup and the entire bottom was filled with powder.

I took out my credit card then she told me no credit card for 75 cents which means I need to give her cash. OMG Worst service ever. Previously I gave this place 5 stars. Now the service not even worth 0.75 star. I will not come here ever again. If Gong Cha manager or owner see my review, please educate your staff how to do better customer service. Loose a loyal customer for 75 cents.

The staff working weekdays look like they don't want to be there, like another reviewer said, and I can only speculate that's the reason why the drink customizations are ignored. It can't be a training issue because that person has been there forever. Weekend staff weren't friendly either (no greeting whatsoever) but at least the drink was made correctly. Unfortunate considering a medium (smallest size) thai tea with 1 topping is $7. Suggestion to the owners is to hire people that are personable, friendly and passionate about their job.
