Everything is made to order. Not like other places that have the food under heat lamps all day and serve you immediately. You will have to wait, I recommend calling ahead for pickup. But the wait for made to order food is worth it. The lady upfront has always been kind and friendly.

The chicken fried rice and pepper steak are amazing! It's not greasy and full of flavor. I'm addicted to the place for Togo.

The best local restaurant in Frisco, TX. I have yet to find better customer service, food, or speed of service with any other restaurant. The owner/manager there makes me laugh every time I come in, treats me with respect, ensures my order is made just how I like it. I will always recommend Lucky 99! Do not order delivery unless directly in store. You will never get the same pricing and DoorDash will charge you more in delivery fees, on top of raising the prices of the food itself for no reason.

I have been ordering from this restaurant for years and always have an incredible experience. The food is scrumptious, arrives hot to my door, and the customer service is impressive. You can even place your order online for your convenience, and the promised delivery time is nearly always accurate. My family adores the sesame chicken, the beef lo mein, and my personal favorite - steamed shrimp with vegetables. Be sure to order a side of wanton soup and egg rolls; they're both superb! The restaurant is conveniently located off of Preston Road and Rolater, so delivery within the Frisco area is pretty speedy!

this is seriously some legit food! i always order the orange chicken and a side of white rice. i request that the chicken is crispy so it's not soggy and they nail it every time. it's not all batter like some places and the sauce is so good that i ask for a side of extra sauce and use it on the rice and other meals throughout the week. i've only ordered for delivery so i can't speak to the cleanliness or interior conditions.

The lady was nice and gave us condiments while taking orders over the phone, helped prepped and attending to the register. It was a delicious meal. Lot of food on the plate and overall hot. We will come back for more.

First a day foremost, the owner is the sweetest thing. She is always in a happy spirit no matter how busy she is. Secondly, the food is great and consistent. How many places can you honestly say that the shrimp is cooked perfectly every time no matter what dish it is in. And the flavors are perfectly balanced. I'm glad that I stumbled upon this place.

Great first experience here. Ordered off of their website which was easy and detailed. They had a question about my order, and even called me for confirmation. Super friendly and they are doing curbside right now which is a plus. Enjoyed the General Tso’s chicken. It had just the right amount of spice that is hard to find now days. My wife really enjoyed her low mein with chicken as well. We will definitely be back.

We lived in Frisco 10 years before Lotus opened and struggled to find good Chinese food. We order takeout from here often. We've never had an issue. The food is consistently good and they've never gotten an order incorrect. I like that they deliver, but rarely use the delivery service because it usually takes 45-60 min in the evenings, so I prefer to just pick it up.

Great food & very good price. They can improve their seating area to come in and dine there. It has become my regular takeaway place right now as it is very close to my home and they have the food ready in 15 minutes only after you order.

Updated May 10th 2020. Glad to see they are open and taking safety measures with social distancing and hand sanitizers by the door and cashier. Great takeout food. Decent prices. Rude ladies. :)

We order from them quite frequently. Our orders are usually around $40-50 bucks. The last couple orders have been good except for the fact that the portions have been cut by 40%. They used to deliver, but now use StubHub and Uber eats, so I pick it up due to bad experiences with food delivery companies. If Lucky 99 wants my money, fill my food container or I'll take my money elsewhere!

They deliver within a 3 mile radius. I really love the house egg roll take out. I have had a couple of in house meals. Prices are reasonable. They are Chinese. They are good. They are busy. Check them out

I ordered the family meal deal from the restaurant late around 9pm and delivery arrived around 50 minutes later. I tipped the driver in cash (20%) and signed the credit card receipt for $20 even. The driver decided to add $5 extra to his tip on the creidt card receipt making it effectively 42%tip. I call back and they act like I am a theif trying to get $5 back. Keep my five dollars and I will let the WORLD WIDE WEB know how your company is providing mediocre food and over charging the public. Enjoy the review and please all your people check your credit card statements carefully. I have been ordering to go and delivery food forever and never ran into this issue except for the first time I decided to order from Lotus. What a load of crap...enjoy the 45% tip. The food it self was alright the soup was cold but after warming it up it was decent. They forgot the almond cookies in the family meal deal and the Mongolian beef was good but not enough meat in it. The kung pao tasted fresh for chicken but the veggies were not fresh. The fried rice was dry and steam rice was fresh. This place is hit or miss and depends on when you go and get it. I would recommend COZY THAI in THE COLONY hands down honest and hard working people. I will never return to your establishment and promise to do my best and share my experience with all the professionals around legacy / 121.

This isn’t your typical Chinese takeout. They do not have whole chicken wings, spare ribs etc. They only give you one sauce packet. Even after requesting more sauce I received 1. For $42 for two shrimp fried rice with wings, they could’ve been a little more gracious. I will not be returning.

Then take a look at the POS system and especially the touch screen and it doesn't look like it's been cleaned in months. The lady that takes your order and uses the calculator and the POS will then go to the kitchen and package your order for you. The food was good but nothing close to what it used to be. With all the many choices for Chinese food within few miles. I don't think I'll be returning..... which is sad.

Ordered delivery Sweet and Sour chicken. They forget the sweet and sour sauce. When I call about it they ask me to come pick it up or i can wait for one of their drivers to come back from deliveries and drop it off. 10 minutes pass and still no sauce so I drive over to pick it up and request a refund. When I ask the lady working the counter about it she immediatly says no and that if i want a refund i need to bring all the food back.

This place absolutely does not care if you choose them or not. Horrible service and they want to charge you extra for a very small container of sauce? Also be sure to double check your order, they almost always leave something out. To many other places to spend your money!

You're better off at Panda Express. The manager lady was very rude this is the second time that the food had a strong old oily old meat taste I could not even swallow it I kindly asked if she can just give me something else because I could not eat the beef lo mein it smelled too horrible she insisted that It was the vegetables, there is no vegetable that smells like that it was one of the grossest smells I've ever smelt in food EVER, she insisted that no she cannot do anything and just next time don't order it then she took her FINGER and put it in the dish with the food and ate out of it? and said it taste is fine there's nothing wrong with? Then I told her that's Okay and walked away then she insisted that I would take it home and eat it tomorrow after putting her FINGERS in the food? Then she goes in the back yells, gets mad about 5 minutes later after embarrassing me in front of people in the restaurant because we were dining in, she comes back and gives me dumplings on the table and still insisted there was nothing wrong with the food, the second time before this we ordered General Tso's chicken and it had an old lemony freezer bite taste, but we didn't say anything complaint or nothing..... every single time we come we order the pork fried rice and the last two times we ate it it tastes completely different each time? It's like you're taking a gamble if it's going to be good or not each time? This lady is very RUDE and disrespectful! I will not be coming here anymore she is too greedy and disrespectful however the guy who runs the cash register is very nice and and I do give him five stars on his service he was awesome!

A complete LACK of integrity, responsibility and respect!!! I placed an online delivery order this evening at 8:15pm. I checked carefully to make sure that the restaurant could deliver to my area. Once I placed my order I was informed that if there were any questions or concerns the restaurant would contact me. After 1 hour and 45 minutes I get a call from the restaurant stating that they cannot deliver to my neighborhood because I am 1 block out of their delivery area!! I pointed out that their website did not indicate a delivery area. I also asked them why it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to call me to let me know that they cannot deliver my food. Instead of being apologetic for the mistake and misunderstanding they chose to argue with me and said that they are not to blame for the error on THEIR website. They then proceeded to argue with my husband, insulted him and said that he has no heart when he pointed out their error and refusal to at least acknowledge their error. I will NEVER order from this restaurant again and I will NEVER go there in person.

Well....if this place has good food the service could quite possibly keep you from ever finding out. Looked them up online and called to place an order for delivery, but the lady said you're too far. I could have sworn the online map said they were pretty close to us so I hung up and looked it up. They're only 3.7 miles away. I thought surely she must have been mistaken and called back to try and inquire about the distance limit. The first time I called back someone just picked the phone up and hung it right up without saying a word. I thought surely that was an accident and called one more time to inquire about the distance. ... the lady answers the phone with "Yes, Amber? " Wow, ok. I go ahead and ask what the delivery area is and its only 3 miles. Really? Someone could walk farther. I guess they don't need the business. This would explain why all their bad reviews are about how they treat customers.

Bad experience! Came for lunch first day of Chinese New Year. Food looks horrible. Ordered a small bowl of egg drop soup, lo mein, and couple other foods. Have to pay $64+ of front plus tips before you see the foods?!?! Soup showed up with horrible looking. Egg was old and turned to black color. We complain to the owner and want to cancel the order. We said we will pay for the drinks cause we already drink some water but we don't want any more foods. Owner refused to give back the money and forced us to either eat it or leave it. We decided to leave this place. Never come back. Please beware when you come in to a restaurant that want you to pay and tips before seeing the foods.

We took a chance on this restaurant and failed. We’ve had low end Chinese food but this at the top of the list for bad. The chicken was overcooked, the pad Thai had huge chunks of tofu that were mostly inedible, and we ended up throwing most of the food away. If you love yourself or your family find another option for Chinese food.

Zero stars if I could provide it. Service is a hit or a miss. Orders are inconsistent and complexity of dictating them is incomprehensible to the person on the phone. Obviously not interested in their job ! Please hire professional staff. If your going to run a successful business you should hire trained people and not half willing relatives. Its not your quality. It your delivery and poor execution. Your missing on the younger generation of people by holding on to antiquated customer service model. Also I know this is hard for older asian folks but please try to treat all types of people the same. Your losing on business and a lower balance sheet.

If I could give Lucky 99 zero stars, I would. We are FREQUENT customers, and usually the food is exceptional. Unfortunately, the last two times we have ordered the curry, it has been unpalatable due to a spice level that is so intense you can smell it and it burns the nose. We brought this to their attention the first time, they assured us that it is supposed to be "creamy and mild" per the menu. We trusted our favorite Chinese restaurant that this was simply a mistake. Tonight, it was HORRIBLE...AGAIN. After calling and receiving the WORST customer service, they expected us to drive (in a storm) back to the restaurant to remake it. LOL This will be our last visit to Lucky 99. Too bad they have lost our business considering we order often enough that they know us by name. Find another place to eat, there are plenty of places in town that would love your business and this isn't one of them.

I am one for customer service, especially since I’m in the sports entertainment hospitality business! Then going to punish me by cooking one egg roll for an extra 10 minutes. Very unprofessional.

We've ordered multiple times from this place. It's a toss up as to the quality of the food you're going to receive. Sometimes it's hot, fresh and tasty. Sometimes it's lukewarm and soggy. Sometimes it tastes chemical-like and is inedible. Sometimes you don't receive all your food. If you call or go up there to complain, they are extremely rude. They make no mistakes and the food tastes fine after eating off of your food. And they tell you not to order it again. And when they leave out food, delivered to you, they expect you to come pick up the replacement food. Order from ANYWHERE ELSE but NOT HERE!
