The staff was very friendly and helpful. While we bowled, we were regularly checked on to see if we needed anything. Food and drink service was prompt as well. The rope course goes over top the minigolf course, which is both fun and efficient. The referee for lazer tag was accommodating if someone wanted to switch teams to be with their family/friends. The ref even joined in for a game when we had low number of people and played free-for-all. The staff was also more than happy to help if we had a problem with any of the arcade games/prizes. While all of the activities may bring you here, the great service is what will have you returning. Top-notch.

My mom booked a package that included bowling, laser tag, ropes course, some food, and timed arcade games. We spent all day there, with kids aged 19-11, boomers and Gen x. We had a great time and got to move from activity to activity whenever we needed a change. Santi was our dedicated host and he was great! Also, Tyler the Manager solved the problem we had with the arcade cards, quickly and cheerfully. Michael and the other "gravity manager," laser tag staff, and the woman in the sign up center were all great. We really appreciated the atmosphere focused on helping us have a good time. Only tiny problem was they ran out of whipped cream for the milkshakes... Seems like they could've run to the grocery store next door so they'd have enough for the day.... Lol. Overall, recommend 10/10.

This is a great place to take a mid afternoon break when you need to have a little fun. Ski ball, video games, pool and bowling, such a fun experience with family, friends, or coworkers. We had a "brainstorming" seasion here, and no joke, we came back to our work challenge with new insights and renewed energy.

This Main Event in Frisco is pretty amazing!!! It has Laser Tag, Gravity Ropes course, mini golf, karaoke, arcades games, bowling and pool tables! We went on Monday during Monday Madness and only paid $10 for all day play on the activities (did not include arcade games). Monday Madness is every Monday after 4pm. The food is a decent price as well.

We love this place everytime we visit Texas. They have lots for the kids and there are several deals you can benefit using. There's high ropes course, Lazer tag, arcade games and ticket winning arcade games, and bowling. For the older crowd there's a bar and karaoke stations. There's also a restaurant that serves pizza and other snacks. Definitely a place to stop by that caters to a variety of ages, perfect for that hot summer day or weekend outing.

What a great place to take the kids or hang out and catch the game with friends! A little expensive considering all there is to do inside this huge event center, but everyone in your group will enjoy this place. It has more fun and entertaining choices inside the building than most communities have in the entire city. Can't wait to come back again soon.

We had such a good time. We took my 10 year old grandson on an outing with my son (his uncle) and his wife for his birthday. All the game play from bowling, pool to air hockey ect was great. It was so much fun. And the food was great. We started off with cotton candy Shirley Temple and ended with a double bacon cheeseburger and a huge sundae that we shared. Can't wait to go again

It’s a nice event center and good entertainment for kids with bowling and arcade. Laser tag was kids favorite. Pizzas are do good and in house. In house food and drink is very advantageous incase we need more which is not the case in other event organizations.

I’ve been to both the Frisco location and Plano and the experience when it comes to service is night and day between locations. Frisco is definitely my preferred place and yall should check it out!

This was my first time here and it was within my expectations of places like this. This location had gravity ropes, karaoke, bowling, laser tag, pool and an arcade area. I went for a team event and I enjoyed it. Only issue we had was when bowling the rack wouldn’t reset once and we tried calling directly from the screen. Advice, don’t bother with that, just go get the person servicing the bowling area because those people get priority.

To play pool you purchase by the hour and it was kind of pricey for just playing pool. But other than that the prices aren’t terrible. I would totally recommend this place for your kids birthday, for sure.

This was the PERFECT birthday party for a pre-teen. It was so easy to book online and I loved that we had the bowling lanes as a "home base" for the parents to sit and chat (and bowl a little) while we had some food and drinks and just let the kids run wild in the arcade. Jeremy (I think he was the manager?) welcomed us when we arrived and gave my daughter a bowling pin with her age on it and it was signed by the staff - VERY cool keepsake and it made her feel so special. Savannah was our server at the lanes and she was amazing. She checked on us regularly and I felt like we never had to wait for a drink to get refilled and our food came out pretty fast! I was also surprised by how much the food has improved since the last time I went to a Main Event. It was legit food with burgers and stuff like you might get at Chili's, way more on the menu than I expected! The ability to let the kids run around and have fun "without parents hovering" was seriously great for everyone. My daughter and her friends felt grown up and had so much fun while I got to relax and not worry. The only time I actually went with them was when they did gravity ropes and that was for pictures. FYI - the gravity ropes has the kids in harnesses so they can't fall and then they get to climb around like 20 feet in the air on balance beams and ropes. Some of the kids LOVED this, but we did have one that realized they were afraid of heights when they got up there. I didn't catch their name but the staff member that was up in the air with them was very kind and helpful to that kid, and I appreciated it so much. I'm just sorry I didn't get their name! At the end my daughter also got this crazy dessert thing in a big glass that had ice cream and cookies and a brownie - it was wild looking, but the kids loved it and everyone snagged bites. I'm 100% doing another party here because it was so much easier than planning stuff myself or trying to do it at my house or a park.

Weekdays are the best time to go. A friend of ours had a birthday gathering tonight here. We had access to everything with no wait. Clean, service was friendly. Wasn’t a fan of the rap music playing but that’s just a preference. My husband ordered chili cheese fries. The plate my look a little heavy but he said they were amazing.

I visited Main Event in Frisco for the first time using a gift card. Initially, I wasn't aware that I needed to convert it into a fun card upon entry. After experiencing difficulties with the arcade games, I approached the kiosk for assistance. Unfortunately, the staff member there didn't have the necessary authorization to convert my old card and had to seek approval from their supervisor, causing a slight delay. It was a bit confusing for first-time visitors as the staff had trouble explaining the process. However, my kids had a great time playing the arcade games.

My goto place with my friends on the weekend for quick pool table. Overall cleaning could be improved. Will be back as it’s reasonably priced.

We take my son to this place. He has been there the last two years to semi celebrate his birthday. They have bowling, billiards, Lazer tag, putt putt golf, arcade games. It is fairly reasonably priced. The food is decent. Don't expect gourmet or home cooked tasting food. They also have a bar inside. It serves mixed drinks along with some bottled and draft beers.

I visited the Main Event in Frisco as a part of our office team building activities outing and it was a fantastic experience. The combination of arcade games, a sports bar, and great food made it a one-stop destination for entertainment. The arcade games offered a wide variety of options, suitable for all ages, and I had a blast playing them. The sports bar provided a relaxed atmosphere to catch a game while enjoying drinks and tasty food. The menu had a good selection, and the service was excellent. Overall, Main Event in Frisco is a perfect place for a fun and enjoyable outing, offering something for everyone.

This place is amazing not just for kids but adults as well. We had our company’s town hall where we were served with chicken wings and pizza. Both of them were amazing especially the Buffalo Chicken Wings. Staff was really friendly and ready to help everyone. Arcade games, bowling area and especially laser tag were awesome. This is kind of place where you can spend your entire evening with your gang with loads if fun. Laser tag game was amazing. Also there is bar as well where you can sip your favourite drink even cocktails as well and mostly have every type of beer. If you want to have your kid’s birthday party or any kind of kids activities, this place is best choice.

I would give this place a 5 star as the place was nice and had a good vibe,but the service was not up to that level. The server seemed a bit disoriented, and despite me clearly stating upfront to take out one ingredient from the food, the food still came out with it. The experience felt disappointing when it was something I had clearly mentioned beforehand.

But when settling the bill they did add an SVC charge that was not disclosed on the package at the front when we booked. Also, according to the employee, this was not the tip for the service team and it was to use the facility. When you are booking please make sure you have room for extra charges that will not be disclosed on the packages.

So I have taken my wife and two kids here twice. I would also like to preface that it was fun because we had fun ourselves doing bowling, arcades and eating. Food is good but really costly. My biggest gripe for both times is the servers. Although they are friendly, they are extremely slow, somewhat lazy and absent a good portion of the time. They love to congregate as shown in the picture. This is also because they started to finally move around. I had to leave bowling alley to track someone down to get service, and after 25 min finally got a server show up. After food was delivered we saw our server sporadically until it was time to pick up the signed check and they were quick on that. I would just suggest not be in large groups like that especially in front of people and be proactive.

I booked a birthday party and I felt like I received poor service by my host and wasn't properly informed of all the details pertaining to my reservation. But, the atmosphere was great for kids.

This is going to be a more critical review against Main Event, so keep that in mind. I would say that from my experience of going to Main Event twice, it was decent. Or more specifically, it was decent at the Frisco one. Main Event has a lot of gambling-like arcades which can be fun, air hockey, laser tag, gravity ropes, VR (virtual reality), bowling, and pool. Out of all of these I would say I most enjoyed the VR, bowling, and air hockey. This is due to the fact that I personally enjoyed them with my friends and it was a fun experience to me. Apart from that, I think that everything else was either gambling-like or just unsanitary. Some places and machines smell like they haven't been cleaned in a while and have dust on them. The laser tag was fun with friends but was mediocre because half of the machines weren't even working and there is just no point or benefit to trying to get everyone because sometimes your laser gun just doesn't work so it seems unfair (from my experience at least). I would say that this place overall gets boring after around 2 hours. There is just not a lot to do. Not to forget that half of the machines were legit broken. But I gotta say that their fries are very good.

Fun place for the kids. They’ve made some changes that probably help them organize but also make it harder to use the activities. You have to get on a list at the front desk for activities. Then be there on time in a line. Little difficult for kids and there was no prior notice or instruction given at the front to do this. Service can be difficult to get even on off nights. Their was a group of high-school kids there being a bit rowdy I assume it was their homecoming but they were rowdy we were right next to them with 4 small kids and they were disturbing overall the atmosphere was good I ordered tacos and Brussel sprouts the tacos were great but I should have returned the sprouts they were SUPER DRY and were discussing

For the most part the kids enjoyed their selves, I took my niece and nephew out of town to visit here. It was a wait on absolutely everything including the rides that were supposed to be offered in the day pass for $121.00 dollars. Every ride paid for in this package was either down, understaffed or couldn't be played. It was absolutely a mess. The only breath of fresh air was the manager, he went above and beyond to try to make it right, but by that time I was livid. I wanted a refund, everything I paid for the kids didn't get a chance to Ride. Would be a excellent place for family fun if they have the staff to actually assist with the rides and games they offer. Please get staff it was like 7 people throughout the whole establishment.

I only come to arcades to play Pump It Up, and when I swiped my card x4, it start the game and ate my credits. Staff were quick to address it, and they refunded me my credits; however, they never returned PIU to a state I could play it. Other games here were also not working right-- calibration on shoot em up games were off; ball sink games weren't depositing balls; buttons weren't registering presses on multiple cabinets. I did come here months before and ate from their menu. Pizza wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. Very doughy, but very cheesey. The overall atmosphere wasn't there. No music playing and only chatter from guests and pings from machines. Everything seemed pretty clean and well managed. Some positives: Staff are friendly and awesome! Prize corner is always poppin. Bowling and pool seemed great though, but I haven't tried.

Update: downgraded to 2 stars, the drinks were absolutely worthless, like .2 of a shot in each glass. When I asked the server about it he said "we're not big fans of over pouring our drinks"... Really? These were the weakest drinks I've ever had anywhere ever. Previous review: Pretty good, food is decent, a little tough to get service on the lanes.

Used to be so much better… not sure it’s going to make it much longer. Went tonight and tons of games closed down, the cafeteria style place was closed. When I first walked in at 4:30 the little gift shop had the roll up door closed but it opened by the time we needed to redeem our tokens. Probably won’t go back after dropping $100 on arcade tokens and 1/4 of the games unplugged or broken.

The Main Event location in Plano was far better than the Frisco location. Plano location is also more spacious. Now..let me start by saying that upon arriving I noticed that there were children running everywhere. The parents should be held liable and the facility staff should advise parents to watch their children. I had several kids almost knock me down. The young lady at the bowling counter was sweet and polite. However, the young lady who led us to our lanes was not nice and she was lazy. She literally watched the other young lady struggling cleaning the tables and booth and just stood there. She had to ask her to help. Then the booths were still nasty. I used to restroom to only wash my hands and from what I saw it was disgusting. Our server didnt bring plates and napkins and we had to go and get some. I was not happy with this location and will NOT return. Im updating this review. Its now April 2025 and i visited this location again snd it was even worse. The manager just walks around doing nothing. Everywhere we went was dirty. The bar was sticky and disgusting. The floor and tables were dirty. We asked to be seated at a table and they sat us at a filthy table which we had to clean ourselves. When people left other tables, they barely cleaned the tables and when they did, the wiped all of the food onto the floor. I hope to never visit this location again. Its probably breeding all kinds of germs. Whomever is in charge from the general manager, facility manager and assistant manager need to be checked!!! Ridiculous!!

Don't order food at the bar. Waited at least 45 minutes for food before we cancelled the order and went somewhere else. Shuffleboard tables are/have been BADLY out of level. I had to adjust one of them that you couldn't even keep the pucks on the surface. Bad staff did not care that food had taken so long and avoided us when we went to the bar. It wasn't even that busy on a Thursday night. Front counter had no idea how to do the wait list for shuffleboard and charged more than the website shows for time on the rental.

Went to Main Event to celebrate a birthday. The plan was simple: bowling, food, and games. Bowling was fine, but the service was nonexistent. For an hour, I got to listen to my kids complain about being hungry instead of actually enjoying the day. This is the second time something like this has happened, so we’re done with this location. On the bright side, we saved by not spending any money on food or games since we left right after bowling. Two stars for helping us be under budget.

Well this was my first time coming to this location and I am very sad to say that I am considering not returning. At the time my dad was in town so my kids and I were in the city visiting with him and my brother (he lives in the area). We wanted to go out and have a good time. That was made a bit sour when we encountered Mr. Jeremy in the Family Kitchen area (whose name tag said shift manager). When asking questions he was very dismissive and unhelpful. We ended the night enjoying ourselves but moments like that stick out in my memory as well.

Waited an hour for 3 orders of wings and a personal sized cheese pizza. When they finally came out it was apparent they had been sitting under a heat lamp as the ranch and celery were both hot 🤢 The wings are pieces of random meat/bones. I have never seen a chicken wing shaped like this.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Came in to bowl just me and my daughter. Didn’t get a server so I walked over to the kitchen and asked if I could get a server to order food. The lady said she’d have someone come over. No one ever came. Went to play games, asked for help checking the points on the card and the man with the glasses was extremely rude and hostile. Working in a family establishment is not for him. I have never had such bad service at a place like this. Extremely disappointing.

So excited to go to main event today but instead of a day filled with entertainment and laughter it was a day of fun cut short. Upon entering main event the $30 play all day deal immediately caught my attention. I happily paid for the deal thinking I was in for a day of fun and excitement. However, shortly after purchasing the entertainment package my group of friends were ordered to leave. Just two and a half hours after we’d arrived we were told to “come to a stopping point” in the middle of our game of pool so a private party could enjoy the facility. Needless to say, won’t be wasting $30 here again.

I hosted a party here recently, and I have to say Main Event Frisco failed at just about every possible chance. They lost our reservation for the party TWICE. The first time was early on, and I realized I hadn't received the contract for our party to sign electronically, I called and spoke to Valentina in the sales office, and she apologized, fixed it, and offered a VR game to each of the kids in the party. She was the only redeeming part of our experience. Everyone else needs some serious lessons in customer service. When we showed up the day of the party, they said they couldn't find out reservation, but just kinda stared at us, not offering to go and search under a phone number (which it was allegedly found under), they just didn't really seem to know or care what to do. I asked to speak to a manager, and a young female is who came out and was the one who just stood there staring, not really knowing what to do, so I requested she please go search by my phone number or email with a member of their sales team. There was no apologies, she just came out and said they found it, but we needed to wait while another party finished, which was fine, no big deal. They never gave the kids bowling shoes, didn't offer us so much as water while we waited 30min to be taken to the bowling lane. Our party host didn't refill drinks, our burners were turned off on the buffet food, so it just sat there getting cold. Our party host Gabby C., was nice, but the fact that she got a sizeable tip for less than an hour of sub-par service, and the moment I signed the receipt, I never saw her again. It makes me wish I had given her the tip that was more appropriate for sub par service. Gabby rushed us through the bowling portion which is the first hour, of the 3hr party time. At 35min she was asking if we were ready to move on in about 10min, so I said, well we still have time, and I didn't want to be short changed. I'm sure her rushing us along was per management, since our reservation was lost, and I imagine they were trying not to get too far behind. But according to the contract, we were supposed to get 1hour of bowling, which included a buffet during that time. So she not only short changed us on the entire party time, and specifically bowling, then the kids had less time to eat. Gabby told me she would box leftover food, and help us get set up at a table, so the kids would still be able to eat, but that did not happen. She didn't box a single thing, she only brought the check right after they moved us (ten minutes early), and she stood there making me feel uncomfortable obligated to sign right then. She told me she would still be available, and check on us, but as already stated, I never saw her again. I spent around $400 for a small party of 9kids, and I just feel cheated and disappointed. I hope that I save another hard-working parent from throwing their money away on such a terrible experience. I filled out the online survey with Main Event Frisco after our event, and no one reached out to follow up, so I decided to post this here. If I am going to be out a fair amount of money, with no apology , or attempt at making things right, it's only fair that other people should have a heads up and a warning. Do better.

Horrible experience. My kids wanted to play pool because we bought the activities pass. The bartender asked if I was getting a drink, when I said no, she said they didn't have any balls. The people in front of us left, like walked out the front door and then came back 29 minutes later and received their drinks and balls to play while we continued to wait. We requested 2 bowling lanes next to each other and after waiting for an hour and a half. They messed that up too. So they said they will have a lane for us in 5 minutes and we could play for 2 hours on it. 25 minutes by later and after we had to track someone else down, we were able to actually start playing. As we are playing they run out of the only thing we are drinking, which was Dr. Pepper. The experience as a whole was ok even with all the problems, thank goodness our kids are still able to have a good time.

Not friendly staff all time. They sold summer pass saying up to six people are allowed to bowl in one line. Today they say each person should be having pass. How is it even valid ? So having Summer pass won't everyone get their own lane to play? Not at all friendly staff at second time.

3 of the 5 pool tables open. They refused to let us use a table. This place is trash. Good left all over tables. Teens running event areas and have no customer service skills. Food is either over or under cooked. Bowling has several lanes open and refusing to rent out lanes. Bar is tended by one person. Sold my stock in this company, I can’t support a company that has zero consideration for the patrons.

Today, we had a highly unsatisfactory experience at Main Event while celebrating my son's 12th birthday. We had ordered two pizzas for a group of seven kids. To our dismay, the pizzas were served with dirty plates. As the children eagerly tried to enjoy their meal, it became apparent that some plates were unclean, which was quite unpleasant. In response to this issue, we took photographs as evidence and promptly informed the staff, expressing our dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, the manager's reaction was discourteous and unprofessional. The manager's rude inquiry about our demands left a negative impression. I informed the manager that I would express my dissatisfaction with their service on social media platforms. The overall quality of the food was subpar, and I cannot recommend this establishment to others. As a fellow business owner, I comprehend that errors can occur, but it is essential for businesses to handle customer complaints with professionalism and respect. The way in which this situation was managed left much to be desired.

Very unpleasant experience Basically teenagers run the place and make it apparent they would prefer to be elsewhere. Overpriced, less than clean and not child friendly. They put kids in a bowling alley next to adults from a league. Seriously. Pizza burned to a crisp. I could go on. All for $150 . Bowling lane inoperative for half of the hour I paid for. No refund. Then we paid for mini golf for 4. Upon arrival, we were told it was closed for a party so we should come back in a few hours. Which we couldn't because we saved it for last. No refund. Unbelievable. Worst experience I have had in years.

Celebrated my son’s 8th birthday yesterday. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible and far below expectations and totally not worth the money! We were extremely disappointed and embarrassed in front of our guests! 1. The two helpers assigned to our party appeared untrained and disengaged. For most of the event, they stood at a distance talking to each other and did not actively help manage the kids, serve food, or assist parents. 2. We were assigned four bowling lanes, but the kids crowded into only two lanes. There was no effort from staff to organize the children or distribute them across lanes. 3. When younger kids needed bowling ramps, we were initially told none were available because they were all in use by other lanes. Only after repeatedly asking did someone finally get us one. 4. The biggest disappointment was the pancake decorating activity. We chose this package specifically because the kids were excited to decorate their own pancakes. Instead, pancakes were simply served to the kids like regular food, and the activity never happened. The kids were genuinely upset, as this was the part they were most looking forward to. 5. The bowling pins activity was poorly executed. As soon as kids opened it, stickers and plastic pieces were scattered all over the table. There was no supervision or assistance from staff, and parents had to clean up the entire mess ourselves just to make space for food and cake cutting. 6. The package included unlimited beverages, but only about 8–9 drinks were placed out and never replenished. Drinks were also left on a separate table, and kids were expected to serve themselves. 7. After cake cutting, staff cut the cake and left the plates behind. Parents had to serve every child. Also there was no cutlery until we asked for it, then they went and got some spoons. 8. When we asked for a trash can or box to dispose the trash, we were told none were available and were asked to place trash on the floor to the side. 9. The food quality was disappointing. Chicken tenders and wings were served cold and felt like they had been frozen and reheated. 10. The arcade portion was especially frustrating. Several of the arcade cards included in the package did not work properly. I heard from multiple guests that their cards either showed no balance or would not work on many games. In my case, I personally added $15 to a game card. My credit card was charged, but the balance never appeared on the card. I had to wait 10–15 minutes for a supervisor to resolve the issue, which pulled me away from the party. 11. The most frustrating part was the lack of organization and how guests were treated. Food from multiple parties was mixed together with no clear separation, and guests couldn’t tell which food belonged to which party. 12. Some of our guests were spoken to rudely by staff serving another party, being told things like “this is not your food,” even though the confusion was caused by the setup. 13. At one point, half-drunk soda cups were left sitting between pizza boxes for a long time. When we asked staff to remove them, we were told they were not allowed to touch them. When we asked if we could remove them ourselves, we were told we could not do that either. Overall, parents ended up doing everything — watching the kids, serving food and drinks, cleaning tables, and managing problems that should have been handled by staff. This completely defeated the purpose of paying for a hosted birthday party package. We have been thinking about this experience constantly since yesterday, and it has honestly been very embarrassing for us as hosts in front of our guests. Given the number of issues and the fact that multiple parts of the package were not delivered as described, we are hoping their team would reach out to us and compensate for the terrible service and organization from their end.
