This is definitely matcha heaven! They have matcha flight if you want to explore their matcha options. It’s so crowded when I come because of the matcha fever and I know I’m in a good spot. I had: 1. Fruit flight: strawberry, mango, blueberry jasmine cloud, banana ube cloud 2. Matcha einspanner 3. Original matcha latte with strawberry cloud
Great place, definitely lives up to the hype. Love the matcha, which is so hard to come by these days and meets my standards. Desserts were okay, but the ube cookie was the standout for the food we bought. Will definitely need to come back to try the hojicha and matcha flight. Plus they have a touch screen you can order from which is a huge bonus. Main con I will say is that they don’t write names on the cups and aren’t very good at calling out names, hence the 4 star service rating. I only noticed my drink was ready when I noticed people in line behind me got their drinks before I did. Mine was just sitting on the counter.
Awesome little spot for fun Matcha drinks. The egg sando was perfectly fluffy and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their drinks - Pandan Matcha, Banana Cream Matcha, and Taro Matcha with salted foam.
Matching matches, anyone? Even if you’re the odd one out (read: coffee lover), there are options available for all caffeine lovers at Vivot cafe’s newest location in Mission Viejo. From Vietnamese coffee to Cambodian inspired Khmai milk tea, rest assured there is more than just matcha to be found here. This is not a spot to be missed for the matcha lovers out there, however. Vivot’s matcha is strong without a grassy after taste. It has a sweet, floral flavor profile. Drinks can be made with alternative milks, including coconut milk, which makes for a smooth matcha pairing. There is a good amount of indoor seating and this cafe is open late, as well! Great new addition to the area.
The staff was very nice, and also reliable. They came over to wipe the table after we requested it, even if the place was busy. The drinks were nice, and the treats were good. I had an Ube Matcha and an Ube brownie.
i went to go study with my friends at vivot today and met the SWEEETESSSSTTT WORKER EVERRR!!! her name was candice and made our drinks with extra care n love😍😍😍! she genuinely made my day and im so happy that she helped me chose my menu as im a indecisive person BUT LOVE HER!!
Great variety of matcha flavors and surprisingly equal quality in their food. The egg sandwich is sooooo good! Hint of garlic with the milk bread. There were a lot of places to sit inside, but it’s a very popular place so it’s best to get your order to go. If you see a long line, it’s usually for the self service register people are ordering from for card payments. Bring cash and skip to the cash only register at the front. There usually isn’t a line for it.
Although I may not be the biggest fan of trending places online, Vivot was worth the hype. Their matcha flavors are incredible and even their basic matcha is perfect. They have great service and the atmosphere here is fresh. The matcha flight is a great way to try unique flavors and get accustomed to different styles and such. Great atmosphere and great drinks.
Have this place saved for a while but finally getting to visit this place was worth it! Super spacious shop that you can literally do anything you want (from studying to catching up to just chilling in the corner reading a book). It can get a little noisy but it’s a vibe. It was a kiosk service mostly but they encourage going up to cashier to pay in cash for a discount and some social interaction with the staff. As a first timer, I tried their original matcha and it was good! The only thing is the ice. Having it melt to a certain degree makes the drink water down. Maybe an option to lessen the ice would be nice. Otherwise it’s still a solid 10/10 on my end.
Tried the viral matcha with 500+mg of caffeine! Definitely overpriced but actually really good for a gimmicky drink. I would definitely come back but for its regular matcha.
So far this is my favorite matcha latte. Pandan Matcha Latte with whole milk and 50% sweetened. Highly recommend it. Not too sweet. It’s just enough. Very cute coffee shop and they open late.

ig: @rach.foodie overall: 8/10 drinks🍵 We got the viral matcha flights with ube, pandan, corn, and matchamisu cream top. They allow you to choose between 4 cream cloud or 4 fruit flavors. Wish we were allowed to do both options but we went with the 4 cream cloud flavors! My favorite by far was the pandan cream cloud matcha. The pandan flavor wasn’t too overpowering and balanced well with the matcha. I would come back for this drink specifically. I loved the sandwich and bagel too! One thing I would say is that it doesn’t come toasted so you may need to request for that. service🤗 Workers were kind but because it’s so busy, you can’t expect top notch service. ambiance✨ Very, very, very busy. They have many tables/outlets open to sit down and chat or study which is good. However, if you need a quiet and calm place to study, i wouldnt recommend coming here. 𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚎𝚛 ੈ✩‧₊˚ • matcha flight cream top $18.99 ↪ ube, pandan, corn, matchamisu • chicken pesto caprese sando $11.95 • lox bagel [whole, oat, almond, soy milk available]

Vivot Craft Cafe is a great spot for Matcha Latte - love their matcha, coffee, milk tea, sandwiches, cookies, banana/strawberry breads, etc. there. They have so many options and always coming out with new ones too that customers can always have something new to come for. Great customer service!
Vivot Cafe 📍115 E Commonwealth Ave Unit A, Fullerton, CA 92832 - ⭐️5/5 💰2/5 ($) 🅿️ street or public parking - 📩 If you’re looking for TRUE matcha, go ahead and try out @vivot in Fullerton. We ordered: 1. OG Superior Matcha ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2. Ube Milk Matcha ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3. Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese Coffee) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4. Uji Matcha Cake Roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The (OG) Superior Matcha was SO good, I downed it in a matter of minutes, and I could feel my own heart palpitating (just kidding!) All jokes aside, if you’re looking for some strong and authentic matcha, don’t hesitate to visit! I also really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee ☕️ I usually am not a fan of it because it’s a little TOO strong, but I think this was the right balance. Vivot also has lots of seating and the perfect place to catch up with friends or cram for exams. 💌 #invite ₊˚⊹♡ follow @no0delle for more 𝜗𝜚⋆₊˚ more info - ⏰ 11am-1:30 am DAILY
The space is stylish and modern, with a clean minimal aesthetic. Lots of white surfaces, plants, large windows letting in daylight — gives it a bright, fresh, welcoming feel. Perfect for studying, catching up with friends, or taking a break. They have free WiFi, plenty of seating (though busy periods fill up quickly), and the atmosphere tends to lean toward mellow and calm during non‑peak times. If you like matcha, this place is a treat. They offer many flavored matcha lattes (strawberry, mango, white peach, etc.), multiple matcha “flights” (like the Fruit Matcha Flight or Cream Cloud Flight) so you can try several flavors in one go. Also, your matcha strength and milk choice are custom‑able, which is a big plus. If you like your matcha strong, or want oat/almond milk, you don’t always get hit with surcharges (or at least many reviewers report no upcharge).
The staff are friendly. However, they ran out of the standard matcha powder, so I had to pay an additional $0.75 (can’t remember the exact amount) to upgrade to the premium option. The matcha latte was decent, but the flavor wasn’t very strong. At $7.50, I think it’s a bit expensive.

I visited Vivot Craft Cafe for first time, yesterday (8/16/25). I love matcha and this spot was on my list of top 5 places to try. First impression is it’s quite loud, which makes sense as it was packed. Line stared at the door and took 10 minutes to get up to register and order. I ordered the matcha latte fruit flight ($18). It includes 4 different flavors. You choose your milk and fruit. My ratings: blueberry lavender nice balance between the two - 4/5. Lychee - 5/5 near perfect. Mango - 3/5 strange. Strawberry 2.75/5 too sweet. Also tried the strawberry and matcha mochi donuts. Nice chewiness and texture. Not too sweet. Next time I’ll be trying the cloud flight. There is a parking out front and in a preypay lot next to the cafe.
Personally I love really strong matchas as I make them at home and have tried many places. However, I found their matcha to be a bit too strong and I think it’s because of the specific matcha they use. The matcha is definitely a bit bitter and has a more vegetal taste to it so just keep that in mind. If you get a fruit matcha then those flavors are more muted. Along with that though, their jasmine milk tea is amazing and so delicious. Definitely a must try.

Got the matcha Flight on a Sunday afternoon. I wish the flight wasn't as much cream and more of an actual matcha drink. My friend liked their drink. Good place to study and get work done with friends
We came at a really busy time the line was out the door and we waited but the matcha was mid. I think it’s difficult for them to keep up the quality of the drinks when they have so many orders. The tables weren’t being cleaned and we had to order on the screen so I couldn’t ask anyone any questions because all the staff were understandably super busy making drinks. I don’t think we’ll come back especially with all the options in OC. The jasmine tea tasted like perfume, idk if that’s normal but it was hard to drink 😭

It’s a good place to try out different types of matcha for sure. However, my favorite one was I believe the tiramisu matcha (I love sweet matcha), but I don’t think you can order that one separately so I was disappointed. Also, don’t come here if you enjoy studying in a quiet to little noise cafe. This place gets LOUD. One more, this place isn’t cool enough for summer. There are way too many people, with almost no AC, and loud. I don’t think I would recommend this place to someone
I’ve been hyped up to go to this cafe for a while, mainly for the matcha flights, but sadly it did not live up to the hype. FOOD The egg sandwich was not good - the bread felt stale at the bottom, I didn’t finish it. The croissant sandwich was basic and okay. The latte was burnt and similar to a past reviewer, it was not filled to the rim. Honestly, the matcha flights were the only good things. I wish that they gave us the option to control the sweetness. I would only recommend this place for the experience of matcha flights, but even then, it’s far too sweet and not ceremonial matcha. SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE In terms of service, you just order from a tablet, so you’re not really interacting with anyone till you get the food, which was pretty quick. Overall, it’s overhyped but if you’re looking for a chill and quiet place to study and do work, I would recommend.

If you're looking for the most egregious example of a place selling Instagram content ops beneath a coffee shop facade, have I got rec for you. No fault to the staff here, as they seemed to be working very hard. But the business model here is atrocious. What exactly is "craft" about ordering from a tablet? Thus, by design, there is no customer service experience here. I waited 25 min for a pastry that came from the box on the counter because the girls forgot to hand it to me.But of course there is no place to voice concerns while your in the building (unless you can do that with the tablet, I guess). I wonder if the owner of this place claims to enjoy coffee and pastries, cuz they would be ashamed at the product being sent here. The coffeecookie is tasteless, pure sugar; the mochi donuts taste like they'd been frozen for a year. If anything is made on site, there are no clues to that to the customer. There are a dozen more passionate coffee shop owners in downtown Fullerton, customers would be better off there.
ordered matcha flights, put them in cups and ends up to 3 half filled matcha cups, or 1.5 total. scam! taste good but not worth
