I asked the counter girl to please order me whatever is available to have me coming back every day for life. I didn’t care what it was except I want it cheesy. Of course, I’m at a Melt Shop. I also ordered cheesy tots which were fresh and, wait for it.... cheesy! 🙄🙄 They were actually great. Fresh, crispy and had quite a bit of cheese on them. My surprise order was the Nashville Hot sandwich... which has no cheese on it. Some sort of sauce, pickles (not enough) and a bun. The chicken was cooked perfectly but I really wanted cheese. Will I go back for that? No. But I will go back to try other things since what I did have today was very good. They are allowing people to sit and eat at tables right next to the store. Living on the edge 🙄🙄

I had the patty melt, it was good but a bit on the greasy side. Service is fair, for the amount of people, not exactly fast but not horribly slow. Tater tots were great, cooked just right. Their chicken sandwiches are also really good!

Ordered a burger melt. Bread was not grilled at all.. burger part good, bread not so much. Also ordered side of Mac & cheese cost $6 had the smallest amount I have ever seen. Asked guy why so small, he said that what they tell us to give & said to leave a review… I gave it back and got refunded.. all in all , very disappointed

Melt Shop at Roosevelt Field Mall was a mixed bag for me. I opted for their classic grilled cheese, tomato soup, and fries—a quintessential comfort meal. The grilled cheese was decent. The bread was crisp and toasted well, and the cheese melted just right, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. The fries were average—not particularly memorable but not bad either. The tomato soup, though, was underwhelming. It lacked the rich, creamy depth of flavor I was hoping for. I’ve had better elsewhere, and it felt like it could use a bit more seasoning or freshness to stand out. Overall, while the meal satisfied my hunger, it didn’t wow me. Melt Shop might be better explored for its other offerings, but as far as my experience went, it was just okay.

They need to do better. Food wasn’t that bad. I ordered cheese fries from there and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The sandwich I ordered was mid. Spent $20 on fries, sandwhich and small drink. Probably won’t eat here again.

Original crispy chicken sandwich is very disappointing with two piece of small dry chicken with buns probably right out of a plastic bag, not toasted. Added $0.79 slaw, which is some soggy purple lettuce. In the ad, the sandwich has mayo in it, in reality, they give you a Kraft mayo pouch to squeeze yourself. The strawberry shake tastes loaded with artificial-sweetener. Fries are ok. Paid about $23 for this meal and waited for 20 minutes. We could be better off getting chick-fil-a across the hall.

This place traumatized me. I’ve been vegetarian for 10 years so I asked for the impossible burger. After taking a few bites of the burger they gave me I realized it was real meat. I was disgusted and distraught, I had a severe emotional response that I was not expecting. If you don’t care about someone’s dietary restrictions then take off the impossible burger option off the menu. This was the first time I had eaten meat in a while and it made me physically sick, diarrhea and nasea.

Waited 20 minutes for this hockey puck. They were out of ketchup, mayo, and napkins. The restaurant was dirty, piles of food bin, half-open bread bag and for all to see without a care in the world. $50 down the drain.

That picture of the lady holding the grilled cheese here in the google maps search is a horrible lie. At least my grilled cheese had a crispy outside as they should, though a sad amount of cheese. My partners, on the other hand, had all my negatives plus a soggy, soft, lack of a crust. The worse was what appeared to be a layer of the saltiest... I don't know what, spread across the outside of the bread. Which I can guess is what lent to the soggyness. Second time here and my last. The first with my daughter was quite satisfying. But these were inexcusable.

Disappointing. The amount of oil and presentation are simply disgusting. Tbh, the price and the wait times are not the best either (paid over $10 just for the sandwich and waited over 15 mins to order and pick up). The tots were also very dry, and not fresh tasting. The melt shop needs to step up their game or they’re going to continue to lose customers.
