Al Veliero

Locale carino,vista stupenda essendo proprio sul lago,personale gentilissimo e veloce.abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti nella camera proprio sopra al locale e 1 pranzo e una cena le abbiamo fatte qui rimanendo contenti. Peccato che non facciano colazione ma la si può fare nel bar di fianco proseguendo nella passeggiata.

Well,this restaurant surprised me ,it was not planned to come here ,so we ordered in this restaurant beef stake and it was awesome, French fries ,meditation salad . All the food is good. I recommend this place

We reserved a table for 10 people and later realised the bad rating. At first we were shocked and the service started very bad. Luckily we got a new waitress then, who was very friendly and did a good job. The food was also surprisingly good. All together, the service should be improved, except the friendly young waitress. Ristorante di pesce a bordo lago, cucina discreta ma c'è di meglio. La pasta con le vongole aveva un po di sabbia, tiramisù buono. Servizio veloce e cordiale, prezzi alti per la qualità offerta.

Il ristorante è collocato sul lungolago in una posizione particolarmente panoramica. Le pizze più che pizze sono focacce, ma comunque discrete nei condimenti e leggere nell'impasto. Il primo di tagliatelle ai porcini, che hanno preso i miei commensali, era discreto. Buona la torta al cioccolato con gelato ai frutti di bosco. Prezzo nella media. Nel complesso è consigliabile.

Wickend in questa struttura che merita due stelle soltanto per la pozione è vista lago! La struttura pubblicizza letto alla francese ( che avevo scelto apposta per il fatto che è un letto unico e non due lettini attaccati) invece ci ritroviamo proprio con due lettini attaccati! Vista magnifica… peccato che la tapparella il primo giorno era già bloccata alla metà ( ci è stato detto che gli ospiti prima di noi lo hanno rotto) quindi per godere della vista lago dovevi accontentarti . Il ristorante sotto ofre il 15% di sconto… peccato che la tagliata non si poteva mangiare più della metà perché la carne piena di nervi. Consigliato per chi si accontenta della vista lago senza alcun’altra pretesa. Acqua della doccia tiepida, letti scomodi, struttura improvvisata. Non tornerei.

Servers are RUDE. I felt like a big hassle coming there as a customer. We definitely understand that it was very busy and they were working & trying their best, but rudeness are not acceptable. We were with 8 people ordering main and desserts afterwards. Not long after desserts are out, my father in law decided to order espresso. The male staff (I supposed he is the supervisor or higher level staff) handling the order then told him, "You should've ordered this coffee together with the desserts, now you add more work to me." Whaaat?! I never saw such treatments anywhere in the world. The only thing that would help the experience is the lake view and beautiful surroundings. Food was okay but nothing spectacular. Not surprised to see plenty of comments criticising the rude staffs!

Very first restaurant we visited during our holiday. The welcome was first class and given a nice table. The food and service was average and there was a bit of an issue when we received the bill regarding payment. We put it down to the staff being very busy and we waited ages on the card machine, it didnt arrive and we eventually found the required amount if cash, placed it in the bill folder got up and left after about 15 mins. As there was live music in the Marconi Square, Gardone Riviera, tonight for a second visit, we decided to book and again we received a good table and average meal. Many starters were out of stock, the alternatives were but a few, but we had the ham and melon, which then the plates were whisked away literally on the last spoonful. My wife actualy hadn't finished and said can I have a few minutes, please, the waiter backed off to a hover. We had our mains: Steak and grilled fish, again were average. When we finished the plates were removed and we waited again for ages expecting to be offered the desert menu, it didn't arrive. We listened to the live music for almost an hour and finished our wine. My wife asked for the bill to be told abruptly, "pay inside, pay inside". I asked the young man where's my bill, how much do you want me to pay, where is my bill? A female waitress appeared and thrust a pda in my face which displaying 84€, no breakdown, no chitty, she then said "pay by card"? I replied, preferably. I was then presented with a card machine, enter your pin! I paid and left in disgust about the finale to our very average below standard service meal. Frankly the customer focus was vacant, service and meal were, being generous, very average. The location was the best bit. Won't be back.

Non ci è stato permesso l’accesso alla sala perché abbiamo un cane di piccola taglia (4kg) un consiglio mettete il cartello divieto di accesso agli animali domestici

Camerieri posizionati davanti al locale per accalappiare i clienti, e una volta catturata la preda ti stanno con il fiato sul collo per tutto il tempo, ascoltando la tua lettura del menu e relativi commenti. Pizza gommosa e frittnd misto molto scarso se rapportatnd al prezzo di 16 euro! Consiglio a chi passeggia sul lungo lago di non farsi abbindolare e di preferire uno degli altri ristoranti vicini!

Abbiamo prenotato tre giorni prima un'tavolo di 7 persone fuori andiamo sicuramente che era tavolo riservato! Andiamo lì non troviamo il nostro tavolo era venduto per altri e noi hanno detto se volete dentro la risposta mi dispiace. erano scortese e non vi consiglio a nessuno e se andate quando prenotate chiedi nome di chi prende riservazione di prenotazione .e non si comportano in questo modo siamo arrivati dal Salò io vi consiglio state lontano dal questo posto

L'unica cosa positiva di questa esperienza è stata la birra, fresca e veloce. Per il resto, pranzo da dimenticare: personale scortese, antipatico e poco disponibile, tempi di attesa assurdi (45 minuti per una margherita baby), pane vecchio e scarso, pesce marcio e porzioni scarse. Ciò che è scritto sul menù non corrisponde alla realtà (il contorno incluso nei secondi non lo abbiamo mai visto), per non parlare del coperto (5 euro, omesso sul menù). Consigliato il pranzo a sacco

Tutto sommato la pizza era decente, (c’è di molto meglio nelle vicinanze) Per esempio nella mia pizza bufalina il pomodoro era cotto e non crudo, e come sapete il pomodorino va crudo.... Il servizio pessimo, oddio c’è di peggio. Però la gestione della tavolata(28 persone) non è stata pessima Anche se si potevano non lamentare per una porzione di patatine non pagata ( a quanto dicono loro)... Credo che però non faccia la differenza una porzione di patatine di 5€.... Dato che ogni persona ha speso un minimo di 10€. Chiudo qui la mia commedia

The worst restaurant ever been to in Italy. Waiter is so rude. Food is leas than basic and has no taste. Price is so expensive for the untasted food. Honestly I don’t know how this restaurant is still in operation, around such area.

A one star is probably more than they deserve! Very rude bald waiter who decided to shout at us because we didn’t even want to order food-Told us they were not a bar they were a restaurant if we wanted a beer then to go somewhere else-We only ordered soft drinks. The place was almost empty, and you would’ve thought some custom would’ve been better than none.

The bald server who wore glasses was only interested in taking us to the table, but he was just as rude as the other servers. The food was below average and expensive for its taste. We requested a menu to give a chance to their pizza, but we waited for more than 20 minutes, trying to catch the attention of one of the servers, who just looked at us and walked away. I had to raise my voice to tell them that I wanted to pay so we could leave. They used bad language among themselves, and the customers could hear everything. So unprofessional.

Please update your workings hours. The restaurant is closed during the midday. Even though it is quite common in Italy that you can only eat lunch 12-15pm, it should be seen on google as well.

Bad food, small dishes and expensive. The service is even worse. The waitress made a mistake that cost us extra 5€ and the manager didn’t care at all so we payed and left immediately. 😡 Overall a very bad experience, don’t waste your money there.

Food is not bad (or great) but service hard to spot and head waiter only interested in getting you in and taking your cash. We had a fly infestation near our table so asked to move to vacated tables on number of occasions but all too much hard work for him. I guess they thrive on short term tourists in a prime location.

Luke warm food. Inattentive staff. Service charge was a staggering 50% of meal cost and definitely not worth it, even with a view of the lake. Paid up but will not be returning.
