A truly unique bar in Pavia, nestled in the heart of the medieval city center, with a large, meticulously maintained outdoor terrace, decked out for the Christmas holidays. Inside, the lights, furnishings, and Christmas decorations are striking, but above all, a flowering tree precedes the bar's unique décor, featuring bottles and other items. A variety of pastries and cakes, top-notch coffee. Friendly, courteous, and professional staff. The discount at checkout is also particularly appreciated. Recommended.
Excellent hospitality, truly pleasant and friendly staff. A very nice place to eat good food. Don't miss the truly original homemade tiramisu!
Good cocktails
We celebrated my nephew's graduation... it was a great feeling to return to this place, which used to be called Bar Annabella when I was a university student. We had a wonderful time; everything was meticulously cared for, down to the smallest detail: clean bathrooms, impeccable service, and truly excellent food and drinks! What more can I say? Try it and believe it!
The food was fresh, varied, delicious, and of excellent quality! We're happy to have found this restaurant with a changing menu. We had to wait a bit for the tuna tartar – but it was fresh and of the highest quality! I've also never eaten linguine vongole as delicious as the one we had there. The dessert was excellent. Since we don't speak Italian very well, someone served us in English. Regardless, the service was very courteous and attentive. A great wine list rounded everything off. We would come back anytime. Thank you for the lovely evening!

A summer evening in the center of Pavia. The tables, set under the porticoes, are well-kept, and the service is attentive and competent. The dishes, made with quality ingredients, are delicious and beautifully presented. The wine list offers a wide selection, both Italian and international. The tiramisu is made as it should be, compliments. The service is young, attentive, and polite. Recommended!
The amount of food was too less for the price
Delightful velvety espresso. Service unfortunately slightly unpredictable as my friend put in an order for a simple espresso and wasn’t served at all. Even though I was served. Only €1.70 and served with latte (milk) upon request. Pleasant serving staff and great atmosphere watching the world go by. Smoking friendly with metal ashtrays available. Comfortable plastic outdoor seating.
A truly enjoyable evening in this welcoming restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere for dinner, including live music. The pinsa was truly delicious, the dessert was delicious, but unfortunately the pasta was a bit cold and, above all, lacking in flavor, both my vegan version and that of my two friends. Otherwise, the service was excellent, and the willingness to find a vegan option for the entire dinner.
I often stop at Demetrio's in Pavia, and while I enjoy the atmosphere and the food, I have to point out a recurring detail: there are almost never any napkins at the table. I've had to use my own paper tissues several times. In the photo, you can see the napkin under the dessert, but the napkin for your hands/mouth is missing. It's a shame, because it wouldn't take much to improve the experience.

Nice drinks and tiramisu. Food a bit expensive and not very special.
Extremely expensive place where it would have been a courtesy to at least bring fries. I must have asked the waiters at least 13 times, not for me but for my daughter. No way, it was still a lovely evening in a beautiful place with terrible service, with a 4-year-old daughter ignored by the waiters and staff. Advice for the future: be more careful when making requests. You have a very short-term memory. Regards

Very slow service, yeah the decoration is nice for Pavia but the service and the waiters aren’t. Not worth it even the food is bland. Please don’t put tapas if you’re unaware of the good Spanish food and service.
Sad that the girl that works there thinks she can choose who can get inside and eat or drink. She is ignorant and thinks people don't have money, sad for her. 😊 Good luck treating the clients like that
