Flew in today from Charlotte NC to visit close friends. They suggested we have dinner at La Familia. Boy oh Boy what a delight - food and wine were outstanding!!!! Nicole was wonderful making wonderful suggestions for appetizers and dessert!! Would definitely eat here again and again! Fabulous 10++++ - Thanks for such a delightful place!!!!

Never disappoints! The service is always top-notch—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Whether dining in, updated decor looks great, or ordering takeout, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The food is consistent. The Grandma Pie is our favorite!! No matter what we order, from classic cheese to salads, everything made well and tastes good. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great pizza and exceptional service!

If you are looking for an amazing place to have your event, this is your place!!! After being engaged for 4 years, my husband and I decided to have an intimate but memorable wedding. Looking for places to host our reception we found this GEM 💎 in downtown Glen Cove!! Having our event in LA FAMIGLIA is the best decision that we have ever made. From our first meeting with Nicole to the amazing food specially prepared by the owner Paul, the even was a success!! Nicole took care of every single detail, from the printing of a special menu, table centerpieces and decorations to making sure every single one of my guests had the best time, food and service, and when I say every single detail was taking care of, I mean every single little one! Even with only two weeks notice La Famiglia team made it happen. It was great to be stress free on my wedding day thanks to Nicole, Paul and their amazing staff! I highly recommend La Famiglia for your 5 star event!

If anyone is in the Glen cove area and looking for a calm, warm ambience italian restaurant, definitely check out La famiglia! As soon as my family and I walked in we had immediate seating. Nicole kindly made sure everyone had what they needed throughout the whole dinner and also tended to customers in the front of the pizzeria! Our server Alex was super patient when we were deciding on what options to get and stayed to answer any questions we had with a big welcoming smile on his face! I will for sure be coming back for some pizza for a quick dinner soon😊

I had an excellent lunch at La Famiglia today. I had only ordered in or picked up before and today I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, service and the delicious and fresh food. What really highlighted my experience though was the customer service and friendliness from my server Jonathan who welcomed me with an inviting smile and was so on top of his tables' needs that it was refreshing to see. I mentioned it to the manager who was also extremely pleasant and professional. This alone will make me go back. My go-to's for food are definitely the fig salad, any pizza, roll or panini and I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Food was excellent. Started with Arugula salad, it was super fresh arugula, very delicious. The pizza is amazing as well. Service was very good. Highly recommend this restaurant, hope to go back to try other entrees.

Great prices for good Italian food. The service is excellent and fast. I highly recommend the garlic knots. The outdoor seating is comfortable and even offers heaters for cooler weather. I've been here twice on my way to Garvies Point brewery and I'll definitely be back!

I was told by my dad and his friends that this place was good and worth stopping by, since I’m in the area a lot. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch slice, but instead I got, what’s likely a leftover, plain slice with chicken, bacon and ranch. How lazy can we be?

WOW... I can not get over the shock... I walked in to what looked to be a friendly atmosphere, nice restaurant. I needed to purchase some food to bring to my 90 year old mom who is in the nearby rehabilitation center. I asked for a lentil soup and then told them how my mom had been having a craving for steak. Knowing that she would never be able to eat an entire meal, I noticed they had a steak panini sandwich. Again, knowing she only wished for the steak I asked if I could just purchase the meat. I was told, "No". Then, I asked who I think may have been the owner. As he too looked like this would be to much to take care, he then said, "ok". Feeling like I should order more for asking for only the steak, I ordered a brocolli rabe slice. When the order was ready, I was asked for $30. I thought perhaps he going was nice enough to give a decent amount of meat for that price and/or for making a customer feel uncomfortable. I was wrong. Incredibly disappointed. Now I know why only one person sitting at a table on a Saturday during lunch time. Not nice. Very rude and uncomfortable place.
