Sort of sad these guys aren't on Grubhub anymore, so I had to download Doordash to make my online order. BUT this place is much better than some of the other locations I've been to.

I am a fan of 85C Bakery and this Glendale location is no exception. The store isn't very big, but I was able to find all of my favorite items. The service can be a little slow here. When it's not busy, sometimes there is no one at the register, and I have to wait for someone to come out of the kitchen to check out. Also there are no seatings at this location at the moment.

They have good bread, but there’s always little on display — the counter is almost always half empty, and even though they get bread deliveries, it still stays the same.

We ordered two buns and coconut snow. The Hokkaido Custard Bun was good. The mango custard bun had no custard and tasted like it had gone off. The coconut snow was fun. I would go again to try other pastries. I would also recommend going in the morning. We went around 6 pm and and there wasn’t much to choose from.

Come here for a nice choice of their drinks layered with excellent soymilk… Good location, service fast and friendly. I don’t think their walnut raisin multigrain breads are fully baked, I would love to have them otherwise…

This place is ok. The product has a great presentation. The location is good. Cleanliness is great, attention is sub par. Workers look tired and unfriendly.

I came on my break for this bread they usually have, they said they don’t have it and to come in the morning because it’s popular and runs out, I thought that was weird because at any other location it’s usually just there like all the other ones, I come back early the next day on my break and it’s not there, I ask the person at the counter if they ran out already, she said I think we have it let me check if it’s ready, she comes back and says it’s still frozen it won’t be ready till tomorrow - first of all, frozen??? And they tell me that whenever they don’t have a certain bread one day it won’t be until the next next day they have it ready and that whoever told me it would be ready today was wrong, great I just wasted two of my breaks and learned all your bread comes frozen and yall heat it up like a hot pocket, 85 has been going downhill for a while I feel like this is the last straw for me

It was a bit dirty. Messy tables which hadn't been cleared. They don't serve cappuccino (strange for a coffee shop). Non- dairy milk is limited to soy only. Only conventional tea is oolong. The pineapple cake is awful. No WiFi available. Unfriendly staff. Limited parking opportunities.

I went in to get a tiramisu cake and it looked like somebody didn’t handle it too well. There was even smeared frosting on the box. On top of that the girl who helped me out didn’t even call out my number she just left it sitting there until I came up and asked 🙃 obviously the cake is still edible but when you pay a little more for aesthetics you’d expect them to be a little more careful.
