My family and I had an awesome lunch today. Margaret the owner is the sweetest. All the food was great but definitely recommend the cheese curds and the wings. You should definitely check it out and we will be back.

Food is good, beer excellent and atmosphere really nice! Love this place. Generally not crowded so it's a nice place to have a beer....the Bernie burger is great and lots of fried appetizers to choose from.

Very nice little gem of the beaten path. Hideaway burger was amazing. Clean and friendly nice new AC inside and great covered bar with lots of seating outside well worth the trip if you're looking for something new or different. Bikers Welcome.

Haven’t been to the Hideaway for a year. New owner. I can’t remember her name but she moved here from the North East. She was very nice and my hamburger and fries were delicious. Her place is very clean and nostalgic. The area is to my liking since I live in the valley. Quiet.

Nice atmosphere and people. Food was ok. Unfortunately I won't be back as I will not support businesses that are anti-gun. Not mad at the owner, it's their business and their choice. EDIT: I don't see how to reply to you other than to edit my review. Please edit your review when you get a chance to remove the signs and I'll edit again.

Motorcycle group rode up here for lunch 04/28/25. The parking lot is all large gravel, so an adventure / stressful to park bikes on. We did it. But ugh. And then there is the departure... same stressful ugh! Most of the 13 riders ordered burgers. A few of us were the last to get served our burgers, after an 77 minute wait. Everyone else was ready to leave while we started to eat. Fries were stone cold. The burger was over cooked and dry and just piled high with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and bun... As if bigger is better. Not. Many of us had to dismantle the burger to eat it... That was quite sad, and gross to have to do that. Many plates that were left were full of burger parts, pieces and fries. A sad wasted lunch and the money. Maybe try serving really good street tacos for items. If they are great, then... yes, multiple orders from each person. Easy to make and serve. Maybe some homemade taco crisp strips and salsa. Some good food like that would be a nice draw of biker groups - they'll pay for good food. If not good food... They'll probably won't come back. With their current $13.00 est. cost. We'd rather go to Beers & Cheeseburgers or a good food bar / pub.

Used to be Bernie’s Roundup. Disappointing visit to this restaurant after a ride to Roosevelt Lake on 12/26. We provided a heads-up a few days ahead of our ride that there’s be 25 in our group. Turns out we had 35, which we advised the restaurant of the larger number and that were 30 minutes away. Also advised we’d be ordering food and drink. Extremely slow service, and I understand with that many people showing up all at once. But, the burgers appeared to be coming out 2 at a time. They must be using onion salt as a seasoning and there was way too much of it on the burgers served at our table. No one at my table finished their burger because of the taste. The fries were very good. No free refills on the $3 Cokes. The medium sized glass is filled to the top with ice and then filled with a partial can of Coke - not even a whole 12 oz can. One of the guys at my table had 3 Cokes: $9. I was told this was a place for great burgers, but I’ll be looking elsewhere when I’m in the area.

If you appreciate good service, I would recommend going elsewhere. My first visit here was exceptional but I think the actual owner served us. My parents went a second time and had a horrible experience. While visiting them again today, we decided to give them another try. The place wasn’t overly busy, we ordered 4 cheeseburgers with fries…pretty simple order. After an hour and 15 minutes, we asked about our food as my mother had to go work and couldn’t wait much longer; we were told it would be ready shortly. After another 10 minutes drifted by with our drinks empty and no sign of the waitress, I went to bar to cancel our order. The bartender rolled her eyes and said “y’all can just take it with you, we’ll box it up.” I did not come to a restaurant to pay $20 for a cheeseburger to not receive it after over an hour wait much less giving my mother a boxed meal that would be nice and soggy by the time she would be able to eat on a break at work. Their parking lot has been empty more than I’ve seen it full so I should’ve known better. I like to give business to small business owners but with service like that and attitudes received from their staff, it’s no wonder their parking lot stays empty! I left them an excellent review on here after my first visit but with my parents’ experience along with today, I’d highly recommend going to place with higher standards for customer service because they certainly leave a lot to be desired!
