Friendly employees and good food every time. They don't be skimping on that salsa, either, like some other locations do. It rocks.

Well we didn't actually eat Taco Bueno, we ate at Wendy's next door. But once we started eating out Wendy's food, we regretted not going to Bueno instead.

I just wanted to post this. To show some love. There is this young hispanic guy who has really good customer service. Everytime me and my wife go. He is a young hispanic guy I don't know his name but he is very courteous and friendly and patient. Which nowadays nobody in fast food has. I hope corporate reads this because he deserves a raise and some love from taco bueno headquarters.

Best Bueno I've been to hands down. Location's great and awesome service. As for Bueno itself, think of it as a more traditional Taco Bell, but much better prices and just as good tastes, if not better on some items. Could easily walk away happily full without spending more than 5-6 bucks including tax.

This is a very Good “Taco Bueno” You cant go to Bueno thinking it’s an upscale Tex-Mex restaurant. This location is probably the best in Grand Prairie. The food is always fresh, tastes good and the service is Always Awesome! We recommend “Taco Bueno”and this location.

This is the best taco bueno I have ever been too!! We asked the drive through guy why and he said new management trying to revamp to original recipes! It worked. I've been craving it ever since. Wish I didnt live an hour away

We're hooked on this place! Wife loves it. The Munchaco is *chef's Kiss.* we've been going to this place since we moved to the Bardin area. Even the drive-thru staff is polite and well mannered. It's fair to say that it should get monotonous working drive-thru, but the interactions I've had at this Taco Bueno have been more positive than any other drive-thru I've ever been to.

Anyways, I said that to say this. I would expect crap from them..food, attitude, everything. But man, I was completely surprised. Food was exceptional, service was exceptional.

OMG! SOOOO GOOD! We got 2 brisket tacos, brisket quesadillas, and a combo burito. This brisket is a kept secrete, it needs to be played up. This stuff is beyond fabulous! No only was the food delicious, the store looked and smelled clean walking in. And the staff smiled at me, before I even spoke to them. I'd had a heinous helluva day, and one trip to this location changed that. We will be back! Sorry, just the wrappers left. Hah! PS: Did I mention, they always have the best hot sauce?

Grande Taco Combo is $3.99 on Tuesday's. As well as their fresh salsa bar. What a bargain and a great meal, too !

It's a nice and cheap place to eat. They have a menu for under $1. Beans and rice $2.13 after tax. Atmosphere is cozy.

Been going there for a while 1st time they made an error with my order but generally great service and always friendly faces.

The food is very good & reasonably priced. It also has a good condiment bar. Like their taco plate special on Tuesdays & their party taco special on Thursday.

Employees very good. Food especially the Bob meat wasn't very tastefull. Did not like the meat in them or taco meat. Food did not meet expectation. Just did not taste the same.

The Staff and the food were great, except parking was horrible. Had to fight to park since all the people from Texas Roadhouse park all in the Taco Bueno parking spaces. This isn't the first time this has happened.

Pretty good for a Tex-Mex place. I L💖VE how they season their beef. Tacobell's directly across the street & is SLIGHTLY cheaper, BUT...The coupons they send through the mail are ALWAYS very useful & Taco Cabana's food is flavored/seasoned BETTER 🌮 (It actually has FLAVOR. I reccomend ANY of their "Big Freak'n Items"... especially the Taco Salad! Keep up the great work TC!!!

Hard to find a clean table. Floors, restrooms amd counters are clean but tables always have something dirty on them.(like lettuce, sweat ring from cups, usually not a big deal.) Drive thru is faster.

Had a very bad experience with the night manager last week but the new area manager took the time out to call me and hear my concerns. This really showed me that they care about their customers. Just want to let the area manager know (forgot your name) that you are moving in the right direction.

I usually get pretty good service here. I've only been through the drive thru. I will say my food isn't always packed very well and spills over in the sack.

It's a good fast food Mexican restaurant. I usually only go once in a while with a friend for lunch. And although you might roll up on a Sin day and find no place to park you might be afraid to go in thinking oh the place is packed. No it's just overflow parking from the next door Texas Roadhouse. Sadly the restaurant it's self will be next to empty. But the food is generally good. Sometimes it doesn't taste great others great. My friend thinks it's leftover. Can't say as I don't know. Never gotten sick. But the staff is usually very nice. Today for example I forgot to hold the lettuce and tomato from my tacos and told the cashier lady and she although I apologized as it was on me for forgetting but she said it was fine and made sure the staff knew and I got it without issue. Then when I asked for a to go lid and sack she told me to wait and hurried a drive thru order out and then got the stuff I requested without having to be bugged or asked again. So overall it's got great service and the food 99% of the time is excellent.

Food was good. Service was basically walk up counter, pick up, self serve. Staff were courteous and helpful. Salsa bar needed attention. Place was clean but surfaces were all hard and any noise was amplified. Running unattended kids were a bit annoying.

The customer service was great the woman at the counter was on top of things staying busy. I ordered a #5 combo and a beef potato burrito the food was very good I just wish the salad had more meat since I'm paying over $5 I couldn't burly any meat Please add more meat to your salad's

Had ordered a fair amount of complicated items by omitting some ingredients or adding some. Most fast food places would get confused or mess up at least one part of a special order but this location gets it right nine times out of ten. One suggestion I'd make though is cutting down on the salt in the beans, they were good but borderline burning our mouths due to how much salt was in them.

I have friends that have eaten there and love it I would like to know is there a one nearby Ottawa Illinois? If not, it would be awesome and great to have one here in LaSalle county near Ottawa Illinois. It would be awesome but my friends and family love the restaurant they say service and atmosphere and everything is great. I see in the way webpage and everything. It looks awesome. Is there anyone rose places near LaSalle county Illinois? I have not spent money or anything thing. I’m just going by what family see.

Years ago hubby and I ate here and we were not impressed at all with the food 😐 We stopped going. Then we were watching an episode of Undercover Boss this afternoon and the CEO of Taco Bueno Mike Roper was on it. What a great guy! Watching that episode made me and hubby want to give Taco Bueno another chance & so we did. I had the Taco Salad (pictured below) and hubby got the Taco plate (not pictured because he devoured it before I could snap a photo, lol). It all was really good 👍service included. The restaurant was also kept clean. We will be back 😊 Thanks Taco Bueno!!! 🤩

Got the wholelotte platter and they forgot my chips . And my queso was in a tiny container and it was supposed to be in a chip bowl . But they were quick to get me my food.

The food is ok. My three stars instead of four is because I am always missing something. Last time I was missing a Muchaco from my order. Even when we dined in I had to ask for an item that was missing. I started to check my order before I pull out.

The staff need to make better Pico for the dining area. It wasn't very appetizing. Hopefully it won't happen a third time, if so, I won't be spending my money there ever again. Please step it up staff!

That particular location is very dark and uninviting. The speaker needs to be fixed as well. Beside simple exterior fixes, the menu is solid. Better then their competitor.

It's 9:30 pm. No lights. Menu boards off. As I went past the drive up window, the employee waved that they were open. Backed up, placed order eyeball to eyeball. That's unique these days. Friendly enough. Quick service since only customer. Food okay, not great. Bring a flashlight!

I ordered a tostada and a signature burrito and I thought that staff was super friendly and very polite but I wasn't that impressed with the food. Also the tostada and the picture on the hanging menu were two different things, so while I thought.I was ordering the picture, which was not a Toasted it was like chips and guacamole , what I received was a Tostada which was okay, I still ate it but it was really just beans, lettuce and cheese on a corn cracker...not that impressed tbh.

Meeeeehhhh.... I'm not a big fan of this food, a friend of mine dragged me here. Do not come here if you do not like bell peppers, they are in everything! The lady was nice though, and the bathrooms were clean. The dish I had wasn't even spicy, just full of red bell peppers. 😬

Ordered the Bueno burger and the bun was not fresh. One small part of it was hard, and the edges was also hard all the way around.

The food is okay, but the food is always cold. I even had to dine-in today instill the food was cold. I usually just take it to go so that I can warm it up.

Was very disappointed that they quit carrying steak. Used in the fajitas and other dishes. Probably won't go back. That was my most favorite.

You ask if they can make a meat burrito all beans & they say they can't. Don't take into consideration some people don't eat meat. Obviously means alot of their food is pre made & just reheated

We have been often. Rarely find a clean table. The two little tables that are put together, oh my the dried food in-between them. It was hot in there and took a few minutes before anyone waited on us.

We dined in there was only 2 other people inside and 1 person in the drive thru. There were two workers and it was a wreak. The lady in the front locked the lobby doors because it was to much to handle. Woth the 4 people she had to serve. The food was just ok. It took over 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us wouldn't recommend this location.

Was not impressed. The nacho taco salad was not a good choice. It did not have enough beef and overall the taste is bland in comparison to taco bell or other similar restaurants. The taco was salty. The beef was over seasoned. I will say the combo Burrito was decent. I normally do not eat at Taco Bueno and this encounter was a reminder for me to stay away.

This place was pretty empty. And lacked lids the day I went. Food was decent but it went right through me and a friend... Just instantly sick. It's so expensive to eat for one person here if you plan on eating like two burritos and a taco... It's quality for fast food. But a lot of places are becoming dumpy and depressing lately. The lighting was also depressing. They have an open bar for sauces and more but there was a fly bothering us constantly...so I wouldn't use it unless it's covered halfway or smth. Cleanish looking atleast.

When we came in the guy in the front seems to be the only one working. The girls were standing around talking, while he was working every aspect of the building. Waited 5 minutes or more to get our order taken, waited over 20 min to get our food.. now sitting waiting for our food with 1 other person in the building eating. Only reason for 2 * is the guy trying to make this store run right. Or I would have given it a 1 *

The food was good but not what we had asked for, we had a language barrier and so asking for a switch in one of the items in the box because I don't enjoy hard shells we ended up getting an entire tray of hard shells with the with a burrito. It was frustrating, I didn't ask her about it and just bought what should've been in the 6$ box that I wanted.

The staff seemed... less than enthusiastic about their jobs, and that's putting it mildly. (I do get it, but at the same time, come on, man.) The store hadn't been cleaned or swept in what looked like hours by the time I'd gotten there. There was bits of food, and lots of it, under several tables, especially by the street-side windows, and when getting food to customers, the staff said little to nothing when it was ready. I physically had to flag down another customer to let him know his food was ready because they simply wouldn't. Thankfully, the food was a mite better than the service, but either way, if I want fast food Tex-Mex, I'm probably just going to Taco Bell or something other than this particular Taco Bueno in the foreseeable future.

I will not visit this one again. Very disappointed I typically go to the one in arlington even though I live in grand prairie. Arlington taco bueno always have the food right. Never again.

Hispanic male manager is very rude and unprofessional!! The systems are ALWAYS down and as a result you have to pay CASH.. this use to be the best bueno but they have declined DRASTICALLY!!

I wish I could give zero stars! Absolutely awful. I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes so the cashier could have a conversation with both vehicles in front of me! My food was freezing cold and to top it off the other two cars were just served drinks😤. No FOOD! The Taco Bueno in Mansfield is 100% better than this. This was beyond rediculous. I would have gotten out of the line,but I couldn't.

The night manager at this location is HORRIBLE !!! He has short dark hair and Hispanic. He is so rude to his employees and he FORCES every car in the drive thru to pull forward as soon as you pay. Then he can take as long as he wants to get the order out. He forces his employees to take the bags out on the heat and the food is spilled everywhere in the bag because they swing it on the way out. Even if there is NO CARS in the drive thru then he will still force you to drive up and park and wait. I used to go there often until he took over night shift. The service is AWFUL now and the process is ridiculous. They make everyone drive forward and park no matter what. Sounds like they are faking their corporate time for food turn out by having everyone drive out before getting food or drink. He will not make a food order for you unless you go sitting in the parking lot for 20 minutes. This has happened 4 times to me and each time the food order is wrong and they wait was 20 minutes. I will never go back. If someone in corporate is reading this then you should go though the drive there at night and see for yourself , it is every car no matter what they order. . If you go at night then this is the WORSE drive thru Taco Bueno EVER !!!'

I bought 1 smokehouse chicken tomatillo taco and 1 smokehouse queso and jalapeno taco tonight and both of them were horrible. The tortilla on each one was so greasy you couldnt even hold them and they were completely falling apart. The tomatillo one didnt have one kernel of corn in it anywhere, just little tiny strings of chicken that looked like threads and green sauce. They both were so disgusting I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Very disappointed. They didn't look ANYTHING like the picture at all. It makes nauseated just thinking about that food that I purchased from there.

someone began to take my order and then it sounded like someone else came on and said they were closed. i pulled up at 12am and this location is open until 1am. guess they didnt want my money, last time i come here.

Went and ordered at drive-through got home and had two missing items the cheese was extremely watered down and there was like a teaspoon of rice on the platters. Threw it away in the trash where it belonged, very disappointed. Went somewhere else more bueno!!! Get it right!!

Work across the street. I've been going to this Bueno for nine years. The last 2 months have been the slowest service I've ever gotten. I have been stuck in the drive through 3 times and been late back to work from my lunch.

I have gone to this Taco Bueno for 20 years, and go weekly. The last time I went, well the manager cussed me out, shoved her own employee, took my money $28 bucks and refused to give me my food and threatened to call the police on me. I understand they're short handed but I was calm and wasn't causing issues. There was a pregnant employee she shoved and was yelling and cussing out and this manager shouldn't be allowed to work there. I have pictures of my food that they didn't even put cheese on half of it and not sure why. I'm disgusted with the service, food, and how I was treated. I'll never return there and will make sure I get the pics and this story out so people know what type of food they'll get and service.

Do NOT eat here!! I have had several issues with this location. I understand that mistakes happen and the people who work here are human, but these are not simple mistakes, this is poor service! Food orders are incorrect, food is cold and stale, and this last time the cashier claimed that my card was declined when in fact he had not even run it at all. He claimed to run it twice so naturally I called the bank to see what the issue was. They said that it had not even been run let alone declined. I used it 10 minutes later at a different fast food restaurant. Do not trust this place with you money!! I will never eat here again and neither will my family! 0 stars!!!

Attempted to call - phone was off the hook for 40 minutes consecutively. Spouse went through the drive thru - he doesn't eat here so I was on the phone with him while he placed the order - (call recorded) they repeated the order and still managed to get it wrong. Tried calling to speak to someone - phone still off the hook. Food is usually good - wait time not too bad - this location recently renovated so probably nice inside - but this is all nullified if your order is incorrect.

Drive through because the dining room was locked. I started to leave because of that and should have after I got my order. No onions and no lettuce means just that. Over 9 dollars for a 9:30pm snack. The girl at the window was completely lost in space. Will never order here again.

Stopped by when I got off work with a taste for Nachos and I had a coupon for half off the mucho nachos. When I ordered, the lady said my total was $10.52 which definitely doesn’t add up by looking at the menu. I got to the window and showed her my coupon so she said it’s like $5 something. I asked her why when a meal says it’s $8.39 (nachos, tacos, and a drink), then proceeded to shrug her shoulders and say “ yea they’re $10.52 and half off that. I told her to just cancel my order because there’s no way a meal cost $8.39 and the nachos alone cost more. I honestly stopped by this location because it’s close to my house but I’m definitely done because this isn’t the 1st time I’ve been disappointed in their service. A couple of weeks ago my food was cold but the line was around the building and I didn’t want to get back in it. Maybe the pricing is wrong on the drive through menu but if that’s the case, it needs changing. The Cashier that was their tonight with long straight brown hair at around 6:30p needs training on hospitality, customer service, and communication. Extremely disappointed.

I was short on time so i went to taco bueno. I ordered 2 beef nacho salads and mexi dips and chips. I got home only 1 salad and the mexi dips and chips. I look at receipt. I paid for 2. So they shorted me. I try calling and it's a bogus number. Who does business this way. Very unacceptable

My order was wrong items were missing on top of gave me someone else’s food. Workers did not wear gloves and refused to make my order over fresh they took food from someone else’s bag and just put it in mine . I am extremely mad this was a horrible experience they need to shut this place down. Only three people working that’s ridiculous… I spent $60 and this is what I got. Not acceptable

Every time I go to this restaurant the food is cold, old, and the order is incorrect. I went when I got off of work, and ordered the salad with extra beef. This salad did not have extra beef. Judging from the appearance and quality, apparently it was just sitting there for hours premade, because it definitely was NOT fresh. They’ve done this before and I thought by giving them a break, things would change. Rosa’s cafe and Taco Cabana would NEVER. You can tell a business that’s going under when the quality of the food goes down, and the kids working there don’t care anymore, just hopeless.

I ordered a Beef Chilada Platter and IT WAS FULLLLLL OF DARN GREASE! The grease was flooded sitting on top of my beans, amd my chilada, so heavyyyy!!! Omg...I live to far to turn around and it was so hot outside, I normally check my order but I didnt this time. Please check your food before pulling off!!!! Yuck!

I usually have a good experience at this location but this evening was terrible. I placed my order in the drive thru around 45 min til closing, I didn't check my order so headed to gas station next door,then on the way home I had moved my sack and realized something was missing,my mexi dips wasn't in there, didn't get a receipt so went back through the drive thru,lights were still on and it wasn't closing time yet,no one answered so drove to window,no one came to window so I honked several times,I heard someone yell out we're closed,I held my sack up towards window and honked again,still no one came to talk to me, I called their number and it was busy signal like it was off the hook, I called another location and told them what happened and if they knew how to get in touch with the manager of that location,they didn't know and at this point I was so upset I was crying on phone telling this other girl about what I'd been through just to drive there to get food, my truck had dead battery at home and I waited for hour for assistance and then I was glad that i had time to get to Taco Bueno before they closed,not only did i not get the mexi dips but instead of the muchacho that comes with the combo it was a big burrito. So I paid $15 for a party tostada, combination burrito and the big burrito and taco was not part of my order.. I'm so upset and I'm talking to the manager tomorrow,the girl I talked to from the other location actually called me back and told me that they will redo my order the next day if the manager doesn't make it right.. I just can't believe that I was treated this way!!

I have came in to get a 3 pack pork tamales. I received my food and I grab one which was so greasy and orange to were my hands was the color of the grease. I asked may I have some fresh ones? The Hispanic man with glasses with hair on his chin told me they were fresh. I showed him and I was told it would be 5 to 6 mins wait. The young man came back in 3 mins and provide me the food. I got the food open it and it looks has they were drop back in the grease so I spilt the middle so I try to eat the meat which was crusty and brown. I brought it back to him to informed him of this tamale he said that how’s the meat is and I told him I buy these all the time when in season almost twice a week and they don’t look like this. He kept the same story so I just ask for a refund.

Worst taco fast food chain. Barely any meat, literally no cheese, and no flavor. I bought six tacos and all were this way. Waste of money. Ita not just this restaurant, its every Bueno I've been too the tacos are like this. The meat is dry and flavorless. The shell has more taste than your taco meat and cheese. Add more seasoning, maybe add just a little bit of grease to make it not as dry. Try adding mixed cheese instead of just cheddar. You need a Spicy version of your food. Your food is a bit bland compared to your competitors. Bueno, you need to step it up.
