This is Miguel’s Junior. If you like really good Mexican food and don’t really want to make it yourself. This is a good option. You will most likely find what you want here. They have seasonal items like tamales during Christmas. You have to try the Horchata mixed with coffee. It’s called a coffee Chata. If you like the original burrito with shredded beef. Try adding a chili relleno next time. Be careful with the tacos because they seem to be kind of greasy. Adding one taco to your meal might be the extra food you’re looking for. Unless you’re looking to get one of the street tacos. Then you will probably need two of those. The chicken, soft tacos are amazing. They come with half shredded cheese and half Guacamole. Their guacamole is a little bit on the runny side comparing to restaurant style guacamole. But I’m not complaining. The flavor is amazing and it’s perfect for the type of food you get here. The food isn’t cheap so be willing to spend a little more money than if you were to go to Taco Bell across the street. But you won’t regret it. I hope you enjoy.

I've been going to this location since I was in elementary school, I'm now almost 26 years old . This spot has never failed me, the Tacos are ACTUALLY Crispy to the bite! And the garbage burrito is actually super fresh every time!

Very clean! Service here was quick and the food is delicious. I ordered the Chile Verde burrito. If you want to make it extra delish ask for done sauce and make it a wet burrito. Top it off with some chopped onion, chopped cilantro and a spritz of lemon with a dash of salt. So good!

Got a shredded beef garbage burrito wet style for my son. It was enough for two meals for him. I got a bowl of Pozole. Delicious! Very well-developed flavor. They included fresh cabbage and lemon as well as hot sauce. Especially wonderful in this cold weather!

One of my favorite Mexican fast food places in the IE! Their red sauce is delicious. I love their burritos and tacos. My grandma loves their taquitos and tostadas. Their shredded beef and chicken are very flavorful. Even their rice and beans are good, which is a telling attribute for a Mexican food place. Oh, and don't miss out on their breakfast burritos! I love Miguel's Jr! Everyone who works there is so kind, professional, hard-working and accommodating. I've been eating at Miguel's since they were a smaller restaurant up the street, next to the old Stater Bros where Grocery Outlet is now. It's always been on-point. Calorie counts are very high, however, so do your research before visiting if you're trying to keep trim. For me, I just choose to eat half of a burrito as a serving. They'll even cut it for you, if you ask. Burrito box is a good deal for a BRC, chips, guac and a drink under $10. Note that there are little to no vegetarian options as they use quite a bit of lard. But that's probably why it tastes so good. CJUSD employees get 15% off with ID. Veterans also get a discount, not sure the specifics for that one. Enjoy!

Food is great! Only thing is that the rice can sometimes come out a bit hard. Other than that it's great. During lunch time, they have a worker outside taking orders as cars pile up. Since they've implemented this, I have noticed the drive thru wait time shrink. Great implementation with great results.

I have been eating Grand Terrace Miguel's Jr. food since I was 10 yrs old. I am now 47yrs old. The food remains delicious and tastes the same as it always has. The fast friendly service is still present. Miguel's is definitely a comfort food for me. Prices are fair and establishment clean. They do not skimp on any ingredient. Servings and proportion sizes are decent, always satisfying, and filling. Please stay the same and don't change Miguel's GT.

I took my grandkids for lunch after morning outting. Miguel's is there favorite. Plus i get my military discount. Everything there has great taste and is authentic Mexican food. Clean and ready to please the coustomer.

I mean this is why I'm fat... Not really but in the future this may be the lead cause of it and I'm just writing this down for documentation. So in the future on California allows me to sue restaurants because I'm a glutton this will be entered into evidence. The atmosphere is only at 3 because I mean it's a typical clean establishment. If they ever bring back the self-serve salsa bar it would get a four star for atmosphere.

Miguel's Jr has the best bean & cheese burritos we try to ask for at least 3 or 4 salsas for each burrito & a bag of chips too, because their homemade chips are not only so delicious but we always use them to scoop up the beans & cheese that oozes out of the burrito 🌯 The shredded beef, bean & cheese burritos & chicken salads are Great too!!👍 Recently my husband & I have been ordering the "Original Shredded Chicken Taco" 🌮 🌮 it tastes home made & the chicken is all white meat, but it's so tender & juicy.... Yum!!! 😋 😋 You really can't go wrong with anything you get from there😍😋 I read another review that said this place is $$ but you're paying for quality fast food not cheap mediocre fast food. Another reason why we love 😍 coming here is because they have never ever gotten our order wrong & that's a really big deal for us.

Food is always fresh! This time I ordered a bean, rice, and cheese burrito with a taquito inside (delicious)!! I come to this location often as I work nearby and it's conveniently located off the freeway. I do visit other locations throughout the IE, it just depends what type of errands I'm running. Their horchata is bomb, carne asada is good, their hot salsa is fuego! You can never go wrong with Miguel's! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I'm a hardcore fan of these guys! I would only recommend training for the staff to improve on customer service. After waiting in the drive thru line for 25 minutes (the wait is not a problem for delicious food) being greeted at the window really makes a difference. Customer service is everything and I wasn't greeted I was only told a dollar amount because the cashier was talking about her personal life to another employee. It's definitely not the time or place to be discussing personal matters. That was disappointing but I will still give 5 stars because 95% of the time their customer service is okay!

The lady with the braids , i believe her name is betty, who was taking orders was so helpful and patient while I decided what to order for myself and my family. She explained the menu options and gave excellent customer service! All locations need exceptional employees like her. Will always make the drive to this location from now on.

Hit up the drive thru for a quick burrito. Got the garbage burrito with the Chile Verde Pork. A good sized burrito that held together and didn't end up all over my hands.

Freaking LOVE Miguel's Jr I've been ordering the El Potato Burrito with Pork Chili Verde since the 90s! The best! Food is juicy so it's a messy burrito.. make sure you have plenty of napkins. The red hot sauce they give you in those little plastic cups is sooooo yummy (medium-hot I'd say). The wait time was hecka short and our order was perfect. (The old man got a chili relleno burrito w/ pork and ate every bite! He usually doesn't finish anything! This was HIS FIRST TIME ever having Miguel's Jr!)

This Miguel’s reminds me of the old school Miguel’s Jr nice fat burritos ( not tiny like other Miguel’s ) Got the original shredded beef burrito with guacamole and a shredded beef taco along with a churro. The burrito ( like I said earlier was FAT ) beans tasted good rice tasted good and my taco 🌮 the shell was cooked perfectly and my churro was decent. Lady at the register was friendly and they got my food out quick 👍👍

There's a girl that's attractive in the drive-thru window, but she is not personable at all. Service gets a 3 cause she is cordial if you speak to her directly. She doesn't smile, doesn't greet you, and I mean nothing. She has tattoos, and that's all I'll write. Yes, I know her name, but I'm sure this review is not alone in my dealings with her. The food is excellent for a fast food joint. I really didn't expect great taste, at least for me anyway, but I was pleasantly surprised. Th3 atmosphere was good, too. Very worthy of the return trips. I continually keep being kind, smile and am cordial to this young lady, but I basically just pay her, get my food and get on. Stop in, it's very reasonable for the portion sizes, and they aren't small at all. If your hungry,,on a budget or not, stop by here in Grand Terrace. You'll get full and be happy you came.

I’ve been a fan of Miguel’s jr since It used to be down the street from Fontana high school. Miguel’s Jr never misses, their food is always fresh and delicious. I can’t say one time I had bad food from them. My go to is the el potato burrito with asada medium rare ! Shredded chicken and asado tacos as well. The horchata is one of my top horchatas i have ever had. You can taste that it’s homemade and it’s so delicious. Recommend hot sauce with all dishes adds a kick to the food. This particular location gets very busy but the staff moves fast to keep the line moving and they’re always friendly. Thanks Miguel’s jr for the 🔥 food 🤙🏼

It's good but Del Taco is also good but a way better deal. The prices keep going up because they have a good customer base but I find myself going to Del Taco more than ever now. Everything at Miguel taste the same and $3.59 for a bean rice and cheese is a lot.

Update...what is up with the guy on the drive-thru speaker saying, "ok, anything else?!" After every single item i ordered. I ordered 13 items! Super annoying. How about wait til I pause for 10 seconds or let me tell you that's it. Most Miguel's Jr. restaurants are very good. Both food and service make the mark. Food is always quick and accurate. My only suggestion is to please take it easy with the ice...being crushed ice, seems like I get a small drink volume of soda.

Mom loved the menudo here and good breakfast burritos. There tacos are huge and a meal in itself.

The place is nice. People are very friendly. I usually just get the garbage burrito with shredded beef. Always a hit. Never had anything else other than that. Give it a try. What I like most about it is that the food doesn't make you feel heavy afterwards. My go to whenever I'm in Grand Terrace.

First time trying the tamales, and they were delicious. I would definitely get it again. The drive thru always seems busy, but dine-in is not. There was a slight odor that may have been from the old salsa bar that is no longer in use.

Good food but pricey. Two beef tacos with sour cream was $8 and change?! Special occasion only for me. Taste was okay but the tacos were dripping with water. Made it difficult and messy to eat. They advertise the "world's best burrito". Well, not so much. I would call it average. Service was good and the place was clean, including the rest room. That's always a positive. Maybe the original location in Corona is better.

The dining room was closed and they were having some challenges in the kitchen yesterday, which may be why the food wasn't up to par. I ordered my favorite salad (shredded chicken), but hardly recognized it. The lettuce was in huge pieces and at least half were pieces I wouldn't have used. The chicken was dumped in a pile in the middle. It didn't look very appetizing to be honest.

Some of the food is pretty good some of it is just garbage the taco salad is horrible I got a beef taco ask them not to fry it and still was super greasy and falling apart I got a chili relleno burrito it was pretty good. Their beef is pretty tasty much better than the chicken the chicken is very Bland. The people working the counter and doing the cooking seem like they're screwing off most of the time.

This place is a little above average. Bean rice cheese burritos are the go-to. They have other good things on the menue as well. Prices went up like everywhere else. The red hot sauce is good and not to spicy.

The carne asada is not steak... it's roast meat. Dirty tables too. They sell chips, but don't expect salsa. They don't supposedly make salsa. This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. I'm kinda disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, the food is decent but the prices are to expensive and over rated. I use to visit this store a lot and now me and my friends who I have a lot of will not visit anymore. The last time I visited there, I wanted to see if the food was any different but no it's the same average, and when you guys changed the Taco salad, big mistake, that's not even enjoyable anymore. I can't say going there has been rewarding, so I'll take my business elsewhere. Again, the building is beautiful but I've had better Mexican food than I did there. One more thing, when a customer drives in the drive thru and you guys ask us how many hor sauce would you like, PLEASE! give us what we ask for. Before I stopped going there I used to visit a lot and everytime they asked me how many do I want, not once did anyone get it right, it would always be two or three short of what I asked for. I don't know why I'm even saying anything about it because I know nobody's going to fix it. Anyway, not nice doing business with you.

This place has really taken a turn for the worst over the past year. Their new crew has gotten my order wrong 1/3 of the time when I've never had to worry about checking my orders before and they have the worst attitudes now. I guess eventually when a franchise starts expanding, quality control goes out the window.

There was a young lady ready to take my order and she was very kind. The menu was easy to read and I was surprised on how BIG the meal was. You get alot for your mo7ney. Now, what I feel they fall short on. I ordered the Garbage Burrito and It came barley able to stay closed. After one bite it just fell apart. Unfortunately I just had to make due. The taste was ok, however I feel it was too dry and needed more juices. It didn't really fall past anything I could make at home. Aside from that, my experience was good. I hope this review helps

I ordered through the drive thru, a two item plate with chile rellenos and received two cheese enchiladas instead. I did not check the bag before leaving, my own fault, never having had an issue at Miguel Jr's before. The flavor wasn't bad but the cheese wasn't even melted in the enchiladas. So disappointing. This restaurant is always clean and the service is always at the very least good. Not sure if they were busy but it took a while to get my food, I figured they might be throwing it together -I wish it had at least been piping hot and melted through.

Me and my family came here thinking the food was gonna be good. It was absolutely disgusting if I could give this a 0/5 I really would. There were too much beans in the garbage burritos and it was no meat at all. They chargerd 67 for all 5 burritos and it was disgusting. Very awkward experience at this door today. It is unfortunate that I did a delivery for someone who happened to be the sister of the manager of this place and for some reason this manager told this sister that I had got the order and left and which I did not get the order and I was still at the store. So I dealt with this person texting asking about the wait time and saying that her sister is the manager and they showed her a picture of the computer saying that I have picked up the order already but this is not true. I'm not sure why this manager would do that. All it did was cause drama that didn't need to happen. I got the meal. I told the person that had gotten the meal and I was on the way but they kept texting me and finding ways to argue and when I told them I would cancel the order and bring it back to the store They got upset. Honestly, I don't want drama and I think what this person did here was causes drama. That was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. They should have just told that person to call me instead.

Bad service. 2 crew member were drinking alcohol while working. I saw them pouring beer into a large cup outside in the parking lot and went inside to continue their shift.

I have been coming to this Miguel’s for the last 7 years! I’ve never had any issues except for today! It started with the guy taking the orders. He was a bit agitated. I let it slide. Then I got to the window and things just got worse. It was a different person(male). I had never seen him before. Probably new guy. Well he proceeded to be rude as well and even worse. No eye contact, no greeting, didn’t ask if I wanted a cup holder for my 4 drinks, closed the window on me when I was clearly trying to get his attention. That’s just some of the things. Also, my order was wrong. Not completely but some of it. I asked him for the manager and he tells me that he is the manager. I’m not one to write bad reviews, but I can’t let this one slide. I believe in second chances. So, I’ll take this review down if I have a much better experience the next time. PS Don’t go to work if you can’t separate negative emotions from work.

I easily recommend it as the cashiers are always warm, friendly & the food delicious. Which is why I’m left shocked at my experience today. At the drive thru I let the cashier know I had a coupon for a free burrito & ordered 2 relleno stuffed burritos. She said the coupon didn’t apply to the relleno stuffed burrito nor the carne asada. I asked if she was sure as I had ordered this exact order before & while the coupon clearly states it excludes the carne asada burrito there’s no mention of the relleno stuffed burrito. She insisted it did not apply, so I changed my order to 2 bean and cheese burritos. At the window to pay I showed her the coupon & how it did not exclude in the print the relleno stuffed burrito. I just want to say that I was calm at all times, I never raised my voice, was never rude. I was merely asking a question because of previous experiences placing this order with the coupon. So I naturally wanted to inquire about it. Which is why it is so shocking to me that this cashier was so agitated, angry and mean. She took the coupon, pointed to it and said it does say it’s excluded (it does not) I’m not sure why she lied. Then she said I had to pay $3 extra for that particular burrito. This all sounded baffling to me. I certainly wasn’t demanding she give me the burrito for free, I was merely inquiring about the coupon, because the information she was giving me didn’t match up with previous experiences using this exact coupon. I’m not sure how Alicia M. Is allowed to work with customers because her attitude was so unprofessional. She responded really agitated that if people gave me the relleno stuffed burrito before with the coupon it’s because they didn’t care about their job!!! Like are you kidding me? I can’t believe she said that. I told her I had used it at this location and other locations without a problem and she repeated again how other employees didn’t care about their job so they just did whatever and that’s why I hadn’t had an issue before. Then she said she wasn’t about to get fired! That really peeved me, that she was accusing me of having your employees break the rules and put their jobs on the line. That was really hurtful and mean and insensitive. I’m so upset. No one at any Miguel’s has ever told me before the coupon doesn’t apply to relleno stuffed burritos. Nor that they were doing me a favor by applying the coupon to it. The coupon doesn’t state it’s excluded. So Alicia’s accusations are really hurtful. And her treatment to a longtime customer is terrible. I’m disgusted with her attitude and words. My mother was with me at the time and she was taken aback by her negativity. I’m really upset at how she treated me, it’s not even about the coupon, its about how unprofessional and rude she was in reaction to me inquiring about a coupon.

Used to be a five star but the customer service here is so dog water I just can’t. Go elsewhere. Even other locations.

This miguel’s used to be absolutely phenomenal literally my favorite place to get food. but in recent years it has gone completely downhill. I have received nothing but pigs slop as of late but I keep going “well maybe it was a fluke, they’ve always been good” but after how many times over several years does flukes turn into the norm? this was my final straw. My large horchata was literally 90% ice i got maximum 5 sips out of it. my burrito wnd the wrapper was completely covered in beans and a mess, and my other burrito was 90% lettuce and missing half the ingredients. i don’t know if it’s an employee issue a management issue or what but hopefully you can fix it.

This place has changed over the years 23$ for soggy tacos with a long brown hair in it. Very tough carne asada. We through the entire plate away. Accept the 23$ as a donation.

This restaurant gave me half of the amount of carne asada I paid for. I was shocked to hear a 8oz container was $9.02 but I needed a quick protein source on my strict diet. When was given the container in the drive thru, I knew there was no way it was 8oz. So I waited until I got home, zero’d out my weight scale and was shocked to see I only received half of what I pay for. This is completely out of line. I want ppl to be aware of what they are paying for and they need to make this right!

Honestly, I have never had bad Miguel's Jr food before. The beans were bland and the fries tastes like the rice seasoning.... it really wasn't good at all. Super disappointing. I ordered fries and got beans and rice, he said it back to me but I should've checked the screen because the receipt on it did say beans and rice. I took it inside from drive thru to get fries instead and explained to the woman I wanted fries not beans and rice. She just looked at the food and took it from me and away. Didn't say oh no problem just give me a moment, or an apology, or anything at all... so I sat down and waited...and waited...and waited.. 4 cars had already gone through the drive thru by the time I got my kid sized fries. I got to the car, and they were cold.. I said it out loud to myself, why would I be sitting there waiting 10 minutes for a kids fry and then they came out cold? You don't have to be in your face and mean to give bad customer service because that is exactly what this was. It's really a shame because I love Miguel's Jr and I couldn't imagine why this one wasn't completly packed like the one I go to in moval and I see why now. Especially the food quality. Yuck

My only issue is that they dont get customizations accurate, its like the work on a assembly line and any deviation causes issues. I did an online order, as ordering through the drive thru or in person can cause problems - like you cant mess up because its printed right there in front of you. So I ordered Carne Asada - Loaded Potatoes Bowl- and they gave me shredded beef, I paid an additional $5.95 for extra Carne Asada (protein goals) and wasn't given the extra portion, and wasn't provided with Carne Asada. It is so frustrating, cause you leave a tip and for what? for them to overcharge and not make your order correctly? its frustrating cause my family loves this place over El Pollo Loco and Chipotle, but we can justify coming back if they keep making the same mistakes.

I ordered a Plate #1 and they did not add the Chile Relleno to my plate. The enchilada did not have any enchilada sauce on it. We waited extra time at the drive up window for terrible food. It was a complete waste of $28.47!
