Real big place with about 5 rows of food to choose from. Food was good for the price of 12.99 at lunch. Got pretty busy with the locals when we stopped by. Restrooms also very clean.

We were here Mother's Day for lunch. They were PACKED! The line to be seated was out the door. We had a rather large party of 9. We only waited about 10 mins to be seated. Our server got all drinks quickly and efficiently. Even though there were so many people, the food on the buffet lines were kept well stocked and hot. Never did I have to ask when more food would be brought out. I was very impressed at how well everything was being managed. Very satisfied with everything.

Love the selection, good service. I eat their fish a lot and once got food poisoning. But only once. I still eat there regularly and the sushi and baked fish is about as good as anyone could expect from a buffet. Their sushi bar is surprisingly good as is the hibachi grill. It lets you choose your meats and side and they cook it fresh. That aside, their ambiance is nice and they seem very clean and neat with a well stocked buffet even when it gets a little busy.

The buffet is similar to a golden coral, but the hibachi grill is great. Good place to eat with the family, but don't go just for their deserts lol. Those will leave you less than impressed.

Have you ever been to a Chinese Food Buffet? This is one! The egg rolls are crunchy and the saucy meats are very saucy and salty and some are delicious. Don't eat too much though or you will have a tummy ache. My friend Chipper tried the crawfish and sushi but I did not. Overall, this was the Chinese food experience I was looking for.

I didn't like most of the items on the salad bar, but because I was going to do this review, I wanted to be fair and try as many dishes as possible. I must confess, the coconut shrimp and fried rice were amazing! I never eat anything with coconut, but I'd never seen coconut shrimp prepared they way they cook it. Hibachi here is pretty good. Lots of variety. Even the sushi looked nice and fresh. Just not my thing. Haha. The food on the buffet was very good and great flavors. My toddler was super excited to find animal crackers and cheese balls with the cookies. Kids loved the soft serve ice cream. It was over all an excellent experience.

Every Thursday when I get off work, I go to a different Chinese buffet and this week I chose to visit here! It’s only a short 20 minute drive from Commerce so its no hassle! The food was very good and the sushi bar was delicious for a buffet as well. Service was quick and friendly! The gentleman at the hibachi was super down to earth and easy to converse with! Will be making this a frequent spot to hit up!

A good Chinese buffet with a large variety of choices. Some food was good, some was Ok, and some not so good, much like any buffet. All my kids were able to find something they liked which worked for us. Nothing mind blowing from other quality buffets but if you're craving a Chinese Buffet this one works well. The service was good and everyone left nice and full. Next time the craving hits I'm sure we'll be back.

I would give it an over all of 4.3 Hibachi was good, but the beef was a bit tough. Pork and chicken were both good. The buffet was well stocked, and most of the dishes were fresh and good. Good hot and sour soup. If you are looking for a large variety and a quick stop, this fits the bill well. I want to say it was $11.50 lunch, and our 4 year old was 1/2 price, and our 2 year old was free.

It's about variety over quality. There is something for everyone. Although it's not the absolute best Chinese food ever had it definitely satisfies.

Great options! Just realize the lunch vs dinner price times. Didn't eat 13 bucks worth. Yet if we ate crab legs this dollar amount probably would have been worth it.

I really enjoy going to Buffet Palace, mainly, because of the food and customer service. Now even though I enjoy their food, it is a tad bid on the expensive side for me, only because I don't think it's worth $15.

We like the food selections, and customer service is good - friendly and attentive. Our only issue is the condiments at the table are sticky to touch. They need a good cleaning. They also need a new rice spoon. It is discolored and worn. Other than that we enjoy eating here.

Pretty decent variety for lunch on a weekday., like most other buffet places, and the flavors were great. I did feel the price was higher for the variety they served, but everything was served fresh. I really enjoy going here to dine with family and friends. My most recent visit was with my daughter and granddaughter. The food is good. The atmosphere is enjoyable and pleasant. The servers are always very friendly and very helpful when it comes to taking our empty plates and refilling the drinks. Yes, during peek hours, service might slow down a bit, but the staff is always pleasant. They have a grill and a sushi bar. This place also has a cute little dissert bar with a soft serve machine and a selection of pastries and items to decorate your frozen dessert with.

It's hard to find a restaurant that serves good Chinese food when we go out of town and we actually found one today! They had all my favorites. The Crab Rangoon lacked the crunch but it was still good. My only complaint was that they acted stingy with the Spicy Mayonnaise sauce that goes on the Sushi. We didn't find it and I had to ask for it. Once for me and the second time for my kids. The lady waited for us to get some and then put it away. I guess I'm just used to Chinese Restaurants having it on hand near the Sushi. One interesting thing was that they had nuggets that look the nuggets from McDonald's. We were totally stuffed but HAD to taste them. Sure enough, they tasted the ones from McDonald's:D

Food is mainly good and hot. A few visits I could tell a few things had been sitting there. Hard and cold. Needs more sushi selections. And someone to take and make requests. Not a man sitting on something behind counter on phone ignoring the customer when they try to make a request. I find this place a little over priced for the options given and never knowing if ur coming on a good fresh day or a day donuts been out for hrs and hrs. Great waitresses!

If you want a full belly, you can make that happen here. Lots of food and it looks good. The tempura chicken (that we use for sweet/sour chicken) was way over cooked, to the point that the chicken was too hard to eat. The rice was good. The cobbler was good. The Corn was good. The pastry desserts were not very sweet, so were not as tasty as they looked. The puddings were good. The ice cream tasted as if it were watered down, then iced up....great for kids, but not to our taste. There were so many options there that we did not eat (fish, noodles, shrimp, orange chicken and more). Perhaps we just missed out on finding something on the buffet that was what we were expecting. But again....I would definitely spend my focus on the hibachi!! It is a sure thing!!

It's ok for a buffet, they will fill a selection if needed but the problem is that they let the food sit for a while and it gets dry, so then you have to ask for fresh stuff. They used to have plantains too but every time we go they won't put it out. The food is good, but when you go for your second plate, they give you your ticket and ask if you're going to pay. You feel like they're pushing you away. It's annoying because you're paying for a buffet, not fast food.

By the second plate we got our check on the table and we had been there for about 20 mins. Kept pushing us to pay it a couple times. Not nice at all to be served like that, food was good, not so much the service.

On Sundays they put all the effort but when it comes to the weekdays … I was so disappointed, There was food that had been sitting without ever being touched or stirred Once I would go sit down and enjoy either the food was not cooked fully, cold, or hard from being under the heat lamp too long . Terrible experience, went there for a birthday party, our waitress was terrible, had this stern face and didn’t clear off our table so we were eating with dirty plates all around, complained that food was cold. Came for dinner with my friend. Especially because the sushi on the sign they advertised. I came in, and there was only 2 different sushi's. More than half the desserts were gone. People leave cash on the table for tips. Just because it's not on the credit card slip you Don't ask them if they are leaving a tip and being Ugly about it doesn't help either!. Taking care of your tables properly will get you a tip! Never will go there again! Totally disappointed.

The sushi was old and the rice was crunchy, the broccoli was hot but could tell it has sat without being changed. But if they could just up the quality of the food just a bit and rotate it out in shorter intervals I'm sure this place would be a solid 4/5

Aging restaurant, food was plentyful but lacked quality and freshness. Not very expensive and handy for the hungry traveller. I would not go far out of my way to go there with all the options available in that area. If I were them I would think about trying to freshen up the look and not cut on quality. It leaves a bad aftertaste. Mildly content is the overall assesment.

Some of the food tasted weird. Too much ginger was used in the spring rolls. Everything that was fried had the same OLD grease taste to it. Half of the food on the line was cold, nowhere near the 135° minimum required by law.

The waitress was very good but most of the food was cold. We were there about 8:30 and they said they closed at 10 but by 9 they had stopped refilling some of the empty foods and closed down part of the salad bar and the ice cream machines. Full menu should be available as long as people are eating, they sure don't discount the prices. Another thing that happened while we were there was some little kids were putting their mouths on the ice cream dispenser and pulling the handle to fill their mouths, a man called them out on it and while there were 3 employees standing there not one of them said a thing to the kids...but one of the employees did go clean the machine afterwards but then just a few minutes later they shut it down anyway.

Super expensive for poor quality food. I wouldn't mind spending as much as I did if the food was actually good. Some stuff was hard, some were under a heat lamp for too long and all dried up. Sauces weren't fresh, egg rolls were soggy, imitation crab meat. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Most of the food did taste well. We tried a little bit of it all but when we got to the dessert is where the issues started. The chocolate ice cream was warm runny while the vanilla was over churned. Both stated they were ready to eat. Out of the 3 different cakes we tried all 3 had hair in them. Went back to the fried rice and then the first spoon full had hair as well. Ended the meal on a really bad not.

This place has gone way down hill in just the last year. I've been trying to give them a chance, but I think I'm done. The quality of food has gotten just pitiful. The staff is inattentive and doesn't care. I literally found trash in my drink from God know where and they just looked at me like I was an idiot. Used to be a really good place to get decent food, but I wouldn't recommend it anymore.

Man....what can I say....being from Washington, we have a really large population of Chinese Americans, and Chinese American food is REALLY good over there. Maybe I just came in with a predisposed idea of what it was going to be like but I was let down. Floors were sticky, table was stickier. Food was really lackluster. Lacking flavor, lacking salt (I know, crazy right?!) and lacking variety. There really was only krab, chicken and shrimp. I didn't get close to the questionable beef or sushi. I dont think I will be visiting again. Off to Plano I go for more flavorful Asian food.

So me and my family went here to eat, got there at open time. The food was cold, some of it looked like it had already been sitting for sometime. Most of it was not edible and cold enough I didn't think it was safe to eat. The broccoli and chicken... The chicken tasted tainted. The California roll was only crab and cucumber, no avocado which is horrible, the variety of sushi was very small. The lo mein taste like ramen packets and no flavor. The crab Rangoon was no bueno, didn’t look like real rangoons. The fried rice was flavorless which is weird. Most of the food didn’t have a lot of flavor. I will never come back because I’m disappointed. The best buffet I have had and will drive to Rowlett for is Royal Bufffet!

Their food taste like your eating the smell of baby wipes or fabric softener. It is not worth the money. We will not be going back anymore as it is just getting more disgusting. It's dirty in there along with dirty silverware. That place should be shut down.

Food wasn't nearly as good as it used to be and definitely wasn't worth the change in price. The waitress we had was extremely rude when she was told she wasn't getting a 10% tip because we couldn't afford it because we were $4 short. The manager was rude as well and kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain. It wasnt that I wasnt going to tip at all it was just that I couldn't tip the amount she wanted. She still got a decent tip though despite her rudeness. Honestly we probably aren't ever going there again because of the horrible food quality and rude service.

By far the worst buffet I've been to and I've been to many. All the food tasted stale or old. We were all served flat soda since they use 2 liter instead of a machine. And with very many tables open, they stuck us right by the very open kitchen where they had cleaner out by the coffee pot, teas, and 2 liters and they stood and stared at us the whole time it was very uncomfortable. I will never eat here again!

This used to be my favorite Chinese buffet, but after my recent experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I visit regularly with my mother, who is handicapped, about every other month. We arrived around 11 am, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. After a short wait, we were seated by a friendly staff member. However, our server's behavior during our meal was concerning. As I was getting food, I noticed her staring at us, which felt unsettling and laughing saying something cow. Food was fresh, but customer service NOT!

Did a takeout order due to having animals in the van. 5.99lb for Togo tray. If you have 1 piece of shrimp they will charge you 7.99lb. I had wanted to try the coconut shrimp never had it not breaded. Grabbed a few pieces. I paid 18 dollars for garbage. Everything is disgusting and I Grabbed a small bite of everything I had in the container and took it right back in for them to say oh no you ate a little no refund. If they had a option for no stars that is what they need. Food is disgusting and over priced for the quality. Pay attention to the parking lot because I sure didn't lol

This place hate flavor, my ancestors are crying, ordered fried rice and lo mein, how can you mess up?

Dirty, outdated, but the food was hideous. Shrimp tasted rotten, fake crab did too. I spit almost everything into a napkin, then started the cockroach parade across our table. I should have asked for refund but I'm driving across country.

I was charged $15 for this. The “hibachi” meat tastes like liver. I was told my price was so much because I got shrimp and sushi. I literally had a spoon of shrimp and two pieces of sushi. The weight of my plate was 1.58 lbs. she charged me for 2 lbs vs 1.58. Just go somewhere else. The food isn’t even fresh or good.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Food was lukewarm and sushi was cold like it's been. Sitting out all morning! Nobody was making fresh sushi! I went here with a friend and told the host that our baby is under 3 and they charged us for her which was like 7 dollars for kids price!!! The staff barely knew English ans was very rude! The host just stood there staring at me waiting for me to leave! Rude, rude, rude! If I could rate this place negative I would!

The workers are very rude and unfriendly, and the food is not fresh and disgusting. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Let's start with the fact that the night ended with a bug crawling across the table and the server acted like she couldn't understand what we were saying. Aside from that we should have known something was up when it is a Saturday night at peak dinner hours and the parking lot was very empty. Most of the food was bland and flavorless or had just been sitting stagnant so long it was drying out. The sushi tasted ... wrong. Very wrong. The whole place had an air of unkempt dilapidation. Like the bare minimum was being put into keeping it maintained and I mean BARE MINIMUM.

This place is horrible the waiters wait till you leave to give them tip. Tip isn’t mandatory they always ask for tip yesterday I went and they lady stayed there till we left and asked for tip”tip” they need to have manners this place is horrible for this so unprofessional horrible place!

One of the worst Chinese restaurants. I have always wanted to try this restaurant on my way to Dallas, so I stop tonight. The restaurant was clean, no foul odors but the elevator music was just too much. I thought wow there's a lot to choose from...was I wrong. Most of the food was old and I didn't see them refill one tray. The food was soaked in grease, stale and bland. Vegetables were flimsy absolutely no crunch. Normally the green beans have a crunch, seasoned well and lightly oiled right? No...they were soaked in some sauce with overcooked broccoli. Lo mein noodles looked like fettuccine noodles. No rice noodles, the rolls tasted off , the shrimp smelled extremely fishy and like it was just poured out the bag. Desserts...were so dry and absorbed other flavors and smells. Ice cream was more like ice milk, no toppings offered. I stopped for the sushi and hibachi grill....just sad. No eel or yum yum sauce. Had to ask for soy sauce, ginger and Wasabi. No duck sauce. The quality of food was barely a 2. Price was unreasonable due to no crab Legs, mussels, poor hibachi grill or quality sushi. The signs didn't light up and half the lights on the building were out...I should have known it was going to be bad when the young girl at the front was on her phone next to popcorn machine. Yes, popcorn in a Chinese restaurant. Smh. I can say my waitress was good and attentive. Best item was the Dr Pepper. I watched one of the workers put the tea container on the floor to clean it...yes, I left at that point. I felt sick on my way home and I'm nauseated this morning.
