I’m giving them 5 stars even though I didn’t entirely love my order. Just personal preference, as I typically lean towards bolder coffee roasts. They had a variety of roasts and they highlighted that they were currently out of the bolder ones. However, what I ended up getting was exactly what the barista explained in terms of taste, and execution was perfect. They definitely know what they are doing and seem to take coffee seriously. Also, 5 stars to Trapo ,the store doggy, for being such a sweet and well behaved doggie 😄

If you like good coffee this is the place to come to ! Luis is so sweet and you can see his passion for what he does , they also have in house roaster and his dog trapo being the host is a plus ! Best coffee I’ve had here in SD hands down ! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I took my family and drove for about 2 hours from Irvine, Orange County. It felt good and it was a worthwhile trip. The taste of the coffee is layered and I like it very much; the owner, Luis, is very friendly and told a lot about coffee, the clerks are very beautiful and professional, the customers in the store are also very friendly, and there is a cute dog. It feels great and relaxing here. When I come to SD in the future, I will definitely come here for a drink first.

I love how each bag describes the notes and flavors so I can try others and understand what I am drinking a little more!

Wonderful Cafe with Exceptional Staff! I recently visited this charming cafe and was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are the heart and soul of the cafe. Not only were they efficient, but they also showed a level of kindness and attentiveness that is rare to find. Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to work, a place to catch up with friends, or just an incredible cup of coffee, this cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommended for both the quality of their products and the outstanding service provided by their wonderful team. A truly five-star experience. Great coffee, it's a nice little café with an excellent service and pet friendly. I would go to this café to have a chat or a meeting cause tables and chairs are pretty much non existent. But it is perfect cause the attention is fast, coffee is good and everything just flows. The owners dog came up and is just a great and friendly dog.

I absolutely love Acento, they have several different coffees pre-massed ready to ground for your espresso. Their coffee is roasted in house and delicious. I really enjoy their El Idolo Blend, but they have 6+ beans on hand to buy. The coffee shop is cool, it has a vibrant local following. This is a coffee forward roaster to get excellent coffee. The staff is fun, they're dog friendly and have breakfast burritos. Their espresso game and cold brew is top notch.

Our Barista was super friendly and accommodating. Made us delicious Cappuccinos, we loved being able to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and a good book next door. Walking into the shop the smell of the coffee beans being roasted was out of this world.

While have lunch nearby I kept smelling a fantastic coffee smell. Now I know why this gets so many 5 star reviews. I was greeted by his little puppy Trapo at the door. We asked allot of questions and found out he roasts his beans biweekly. We choose an Ethiopia bean brew with raspberry and lavender notes. Our Cortado was amazing! I am here at lease once a month now picking up fresh roasted beans!

The Iced Mocha is a must-try. It’s made with high-quality chocolate packed with good-for-you ingredients. It’s the perfect blend of richly flavored coffee and chocolate. Best of all, Luis, the team, and their fluffy PR manager (Trapo), make every visit warm and welcoming.

I recently visited this coffee shop while heading into Barnes & Noble, and it immediately caught my attention. I forgot to ask the name of the girl who helped me, but she was so sweet and made my coffee experience amazing. I was greeted with the friendliest smile and workers! Really hip atmosphere. Quick service. The best iced honey cinnamon oat milk latte I've had. The beans tasted high quality and sweetness was perfectly customized! Can't wait to keep coming back.

Great coffee and excellent service. Espresso was treated nicely. Also the owner’s dog is super cute. He welcomes you in the middle of the store. I loved it! We will be back next time we are in town.

This is probably the best coffee roaster you’ll find in San Diego - without any pretentious vibes! Their beans are sustainably sourced, and they truly know their craft. As much as I don’t want to gatekeep, I almost have to - this spot is that special for people who are genuinely obsessed with coffee.

First of all, I was disappointed a bit that this place could get 4 stars, but the taste I expected didn't come out due to a little fatal mistake. I was able to choose coffee beans, but they couldn't properly implement the grinder particles that fit the coffee beans, so the taste of coffee that should have a much better flavor was not like that. As a result, the texture and taste of espresso receded a little, so the special acidity of Ethiopian coffee beans was not expressed. Or the roasting may be wrong !I was a little disappointed because it was a place where I drove a long distance on purpose.
