The food here was amazing!! I only came for a light lunch but the burger was perfect with 2 onion rings that left me wanting more! The Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection sweet and a slight char! They have a very diverse menu I plan to try more of it! They also have a great liquor selection so next time I’ll probably take a Uber and enjoy myself. Oh and they have a Sunday Brunch from 10am to 2pm definitely on my list to try next.
I stopped by for happy hour, and it did not disappoint! They have a great selection of drinks and appetizers that are well worth the price. If you’re looking for a happy hour spot in the area, this is the place to be. The drinks were excellent, and the Crispy Calamari was perfectly done. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good vibes and great value.
I love this restaurant. Check out the lunch specials. Very affordable. I always get the Garlic Shrimp Pasta and it comes with a side salad. Delicious. Filling. Chef’s kiss. Don’t forget to check out the deserts. They have an amazing carrot cake too!
This restaurant is spectacular!! The architecture inside is incredible, the food is delicious. I recommend the mango smoothie, chicken Parmesan and the beet salad. It’s located is the Galleria mall Dallas. Jill Stout
The Lemon Chicken Piccata is amazing. Many great choices on the menu though. You can't go wrong. I highly recommend.
This place is beautiful! But don’t feel pressured to dress up. We saw many people there with all types of clothes on including Dallas cowboys jerseys! The food was amazing, our server Larry, was also awesome. I will definitely be back
I took a friend there for her birthday, it’s always been her favorite place. She usually orders the caramel chicken and I ordered a burger that was sensational. The service was excellent and I thought the prices were very fair for what we ate. I would go back again just for the sourdough bread it’s the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return!
I recently stopped by Grand Lux Cafe at the Galleria for a late afternoon bite. It has that classic, upscale-casual vibe that’s perfect for taking a break from shopping. As a vegetarian, I was actually impressed by the variety. Their menu is massive, so I didn't feel stuck with just a basic salad. I went with the Pasta Pomodoro, which was solid, though they also have a "Vegetable Plate" where you can pick four sides if you want something a bit more customized. I managed to catch their Grand Happy Hour (Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM in the bar area). It’s a great value for the Galleria. Most of the shareable appetizers are priced around $9–$12 during this time, which is a steal compared to their regular dinner prices. Great for a vegetarian-friendly meal or a budget-friendly Happy Hour.
Great food, great service! We tried the crispy caramel chicken and fish. The food was hot and fresh! Would definitely recommend. We almost walked by but decided to venture down the beautiful hallway. This restaurant is huge and will not disappoint! I can’t wait to return to Dallas to try this restaurant again!
This place never disappoints. The grand luxe calamari is the best appetizer in my book. The fried chicken and waffles are great as well. I tried the breakfast quesadilla and they came out fresh and hot. I also got the vegetable omelet. Great omelet. I just didn't like the sour cream in the omelet. Overall great omelet though. Our server Terri is always on point with her service. She's been there a long time.
Tee was phenomenal! She recommended the chicken parm and it was DELICIOUS! I came from ATL and was so excited to see they had a Grand Lux here in Dallas (they closed the ATL location) and I couldn’t leave here without shouting Tee out because she literally made this such a great experience for me and my boyfriend(his first visit) THANKSSSSSS TEE!!! We will be seeing u again girl!!
As a Dallas native for 10 years, I been to the galleria more times than I can count. One thing I haven't done at the galleria though is eat at the grand lux. I decided to give it a shot on Sunday Nov 2 at 4p. First thing I'll comment on is the decore. When you walk in, you instantly feel like you're in a fancy restaurant. Shades of gold everywhere. I ordered the Beef Wellington as it's been something I wanted to try at a 5 star restaurant. The beef Wellington here is not a true Wellington. More of a deconstruct of the components in a bite size portions. The food was delicious. The steak medallions were tender and the brussel sprouts had this tasty sweet sauce it was cooked in. Service was also good. Had no problem placing my order. I can see myself coming back to this restaurant again in the future. Price wise, it's in the range of Cheesecake Factory. If you want to try something new while on a date, you should check this place out.
Located right in the heart of a shopping mall, this upscale restaurant offers a refined dining experience with a diverse and extensive menu. The quality of the food is truly outstanding — from appetizers to main courses and especially the wide selection of desserts, every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavor. The menu is impressively large, catering to many different tastes and preferences. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or adventurous, you’ll find plenty of tempting options. The dessert section, in particular, stands out — it’s almost a course of its own, with more than enough variety to satisfy any sweet tooth. While the culinary experience is top-tier, the service leaves a bit to be desired. The staff, although professional, were not particularly warm or attentive during my visit, which slightly affected the overall atmosphere. That said, if you’re looking for excellent food in an elegant setting — and don’t mind the premium prices — this restaurant is absolutely worth a visit
I visited this location for the first time. I’ve been to grand Lux before both in Houston & Austin. The food is always great! It’s a beautiful restaurant. The service was good, our server gave us several great recs as we were undecided. The apps were delicious, the calamari was light & airy. The garlic shrimp pasta was great it was the lunch portion and it came with a salad. The cheesecake did not disappoint. I would absolutely be back.
Great place to eat and then visit the Galleria Mall through a direct hallway. Atmosphere and decor are splendid. Extensive menu has lots of tasty options. Pricing is not bad, perhaps a little high for some items. We went for a late lunch. Our grand fried calamari appetizer; chicken parm pasta entree; chicken with mushroom and brown butter pasta entree; salad; and sourdough bread were all very tasty. My chicken with mushroom and brown butter pasta portion seemed skimpier than the last time I went, and needed more sauce. Desserts looked great, but we had no room left since we had a large appetizer. Service was good given that the restaurant was so busy at 2 PM.
Cheesecake Factory vibes, I say that to level-set your expectation. With that, food was pretty good. Everything we had we liked! The cornbread would have been so so good without being drenched in syrup. A drizzle would have been more than enough but still good. Zucchini, generous portion, nice presentation, really good app. Hubs got the BentoBox with salmon, flavor was good but honestly the filet was small. The spicy rigatoni was good, sausage was a bit overdone but pasta was al dente which I really appreciate. Server was really nice and sweet although it took us a while to be seated (not her fault). Overall good experience, if you’re looking for more than fast food when at the Galleria definitely give it a try!
It's very nice. Parking was difficult. Use the garage. Service was good. She was attentive and efficient. Food was really good except for my small salad. I dont like brown lettuce! The calamari was so delicious. Highly recommended!!! The location is okay. The prices are a bit expensive. Atmosphere was friendly and inviting.
This was a pleasent meal, the food was yummy in my tummy and I had a very tasty burger. The service was speedy and very smooth, the servers weren't pushing anything or rushing for us to order. Reserving a spot is recommended. Would recommend but the price is a tad bit high so be wary.
Great service from Christian. Hot fresh sourdough bread and butter to start. The mini burger appetizers were hot and tasty. The food was fresh and the decor was nice and clean. My fiance enjoyed the peach cocktail. A bit pricey at $41 for an appetizer and a cocktail but would go back.
Seemingly a delightful experience in the making - was found to be about as average as any well run American chain restaurant - except it cost 1/3 more. The options on menu were expansive and diverse. But the timing on delivery and periods we waited for table service were excessive. If you show up on a day that seems obviously short on staffing - the food court might be a better option (especially if on. Time budget) It’s unique with a lot of offerings - but don’t expect a top star delivery.
Beautiful, big, and bold restaurant that feels like an experience (even if it's all fake). Our server was nice and knowledgeable; food arrived quick as well. The issue was with the food sadly. Proportions are huge!... and taste is small. The chicken bento box - chicken was juicy and crispy, but was so bland, butternut squash soup tasted very sweet strangely. The impossible burger was cooked like a smash patty (thin), but it was burnt and the bun was huge compared to that skinny patty. The vegetarian burger was a deep fried nightmare that belonged in a salad. The southwest salad was okay, but the chicken was dry. The bacon cheeseburger was liked and the fries were decent. The Asian nachos were a highlight - the wasabi cream was so good and even the people who don't like wasabi loved it
This place is huge. The food is good with lots of choices. The biggest drawback is how slow service is. I've been here twice with 2 different servers and had the same experience on slowness each time. The first server was cold, the 2nd friendly. There is isn't anyone posted at the hostess desk either, so you hope someone notices you waiting. This makes me think its slow just due to the sheer large size of the place and how far they have to walk from kitchen to table. I really like the food. Comparable to Cheesecake Factory without all the dessert choices although its still a good choice. It opens to the mall and has a nice restroom. I will definitely go back and try again to lump my requests together to make the wait less (like ask for the bread, check, and drink refill at the time they take the order). The atmosphere is nice, just constant waiting for anything mars the experience.
I came here on my birthday for an afternoon visit with several family members and while the atmosphere was nice, the service was extremely slow and our particular server was very inattentive. We received no refills on drinks (nor were we asked) and one of the dishes was somewhat spicy, which makes a beverage refill appreciated. The server seemed to disappear from sight often and was not interested in maintaining the table. The restaurant was not at all busy and the service was very underwhelming. For my first visit to Grand Luxe Cafe as well as an afternoon birthday experience, I was impressed only by the food and the decor.
The food was delicious and the server provided excellent service. Unfortunately, my experience with the hostess was disappointing. I came in to dine alone and preferred not to sit at the bar. She appeared visibly annoyed and seated me at a booth. When she later cleared the plates, she handled them with loud clattering noises and seemed irritated. Hospitality begins at the front door, and this interaction felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. I hope the management can address this, as it affected the overall experience.
I couldn’t believe how bad the food was. How can you mess up “lemon”chicken piccata and pasta carbanra ?! I know by not making it with any taste. I hate when i spend $100 (including tip) for food & it’s horrible! Ugh! Annoying! I don’t send my food back because I’m already scared restaurants are not sanitary but I don’t want you to spit in my food so I just pay & leave. I also ordered my husband something his was decent (salisbury steak).

El Chino's Grand Table: A Guadalajara Culinary Journey
Stepping into Hot Dogs El Chino in Guadalajara is an experience in itself, a grand, bold statement that feels less like a restaurant and more like an event.
