I live in the area all year and this is my lifesaver. The lettuce wraps are to die for. Can’t go wrong with anything here. Best Chinese in the western Catskills.
I've been blown away with their food every time I order. Not your typical greasy takeout. Really flavorful, cooked nicely and inexpensive.
Stopped here on the way. The food here is so much better than any other fast food chinese joint I have ever been to. They have all the typical chinese foods you would expect to find. Food was fresh and yummy.
Consistent great food, been coming here for years. Doesn't pretend to be anything they're not. Best crab wontons.
Excellent surprise in the little town of Hancock NY. Tried for the first time on NYEve. Delicious-quick-inexpensive and authentic!!! Seriously good food. Flavorful and well seasoned! Rivals the best Chinese restaurants in Chinatown & Long Island. We had the beef and mushrooms, beef w/vegetables and the fried rice. Fantastic! Try this place.
Always delicious. This is our go to spot and we live in PA. The food is consistent and always fresh. The owners are so nice and remember us each time… order the fried dumplings 🥟🥰
I had the General Tso's chicken. I ordered for take out, and it was ready quickly, and when I opened it up at the house, It was hot and delicious. High quality food, and kind staff. Highly recommend whenever you're passing through.
Super impressed, with this tiny little restaurant!! $57 bought 3 full meals and 4 appetizers. Everything was made fresh to order. Plenty of food!! This tiny little restaurant was absolutley amazing. Nancy was a sweetheart and allowrd us to order 15 min before closing!!
We stopped at this restaurant on the way. Surprisingly a great find. They are very welcoming, food tasted really great and they packed everything well .
We were told by the nice gentleman across the street that this place was very good and we are not disappointed. We ordered the general tso and quite frankly it might have been the best general tso i’ve ever had. Crunchy warm sweet sticky greatness. Truly beautiful. —Sadness Volcano
I come from the the Northern NJ and NYC area, so I know what great Chinese food should taste like and this is the place to go. I've been very disappointed by every other Chinese food place in the surrounding areas. But not this place! The food is amazing, huge and fair portions, fairly priced, very clean and the owners are a very sweet couple who treat their customers right. A+++++++

I am absolutely all about this Chinese place. In Hancock we have very few places to eat, and most of them offer pretty much the same things, except Chinese. The ONLY reason I didn’t give these guys a 5 ⭐️ review is because of a couple minor things. 1) since the pandemic, they’re extremely difficult to get ahold of, especially on Friday’s. And 2) I noticed if it’s pretty late, say 730-800pm and I order my usual, it’s not quite as fresh as it is if I ordered at 2pm. The food is ALWAYS hot, and 9x out of 10, it tastes great! I love that it is privately owned and the owners are so so very pleasant! Thank you for opening your doors to the public again. You were sorely missed in the beginning of the pandemic. 💞
I have gotten food from here several times. Never a issue. I grew up in NYC area and moved here many years ago. I was happy to see a local Chinese food joint in the area. I travel the country and know about different styles and quantities of Chinese and Asian foods. For the price you can’t go wrong here. I have had pork egg rolls, spring rolls, cheese wontons, regular wontons, steamed dumplings, chicken on a stick, egg drop soup, wonton soup, chicken chow Mein, chicken lomein , general tso’s chicken and their seafood delight. I was never disappointed by the quality. This place is worth the stop , if your a local or just passing by for school you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered general Tao chicken, hot and spicy style. Received chicken in some sort of super sweet peanut flavored soupy sauce. Tasted nothing like general Tao and hot no heat level at all. The food didn’t taste bad but it wasn’t even close to what I ordered and it took twice the amount of time as any Chinese place I’ve ever been.

The area has decent Chinese take out restaurants in Hancock, Jeffersonville, Narrowsburg non in Callicoon a excellent Japanese restaurant in Monticello also a Vietnamese/Thai Restaurant in Liberty. Alas there's not a single decent Jewish Deli in all of western Sullivan County
Usually love the food from here but the last 2 times I wasn't thrilled with our meals. The lo mein noodles were skinny spaghetti noodles- not the normal lo mein- it barely had any actual flavor and was pretty dry. Every one has off days and I hope that's the case here because I really do love their food normally !

Wanted chinese but should of known his is Hancock. Got wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken, and general Tao's. The soup was bland, the sweet and sour was unedible, and the general tao's was passable

The worst beef lo mein I’ve ever had. Strange taste of the lo mein. I’m so hungry but I can’t eat it anymore.

Our first time eating there and our last. We ordered the common food like sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice, boneless spare ribs, fried wontons, cheese wontons and house lo mein. The owners were very polite but the food appeared to have been stored for a long period of time then reheated upon ordering. It was either very dry (spare ribs) and difficult to chew and swallow. The lo mein tasted as if it had been sitting in room temperature for a while prior to cooking. Both the cheese and fried wontons lacked flavor and seemed to be old. The sweet and sour chicken appeared to be old but the rice seemed ok and fresh. Fortune cookies and canned soda were delicious. You don't know until you try. Live and learn.

I guess everyone eats home its safer
