Me and my husband ordered Togo sushi and steak rice. Though my husband wasn't fond of the flavor, I found it nice ( he let me try a bite). The sushi was good. The fish on the nigiri was thick but not too thick for the distribution of rice and the roll was well balanced in vegetable, meat and rice. There was a clear difference in the crab stick nigiri and the snow crab roll. The ginger sauce for the salad was great in comparison to normal sushi shops. It's mild in flavor and has a better unison to it. The salad also tasted fresh despite how late we came. You can tell people know what they are doing as we were told a 10 to 15 wait and it felt more like 5 minutes for the food. The miss who took our order was lovely. She was trying her best to handle the service area alone and was doing an amazing job. Between the flavor, presentation ( wish I got a photo before I ate it...),and service, I would honestly recommend them to friends and family. The people who work here really seem to be trying their best and you can taste the handywork in the dishes they present.
I don't know why this place has so little reviews but it was absolutely delicious Big portions great prices I definitely enjoyed it ☺️ Great service
Love, love, love! Best sushi in town! My family has been going here for years! Samurai is small but mighty! Service is always great (Chad and Will are normally my waiters are they are the best!), and the sushi is the best! I have tried EVERY ROLL ON THE MENU at least once and I love them all! The Kevin roll, Bomb, Volcano roll, Tropical roll and Fire Starter roll are must tries! (the only roll I found out I didn’t like was the Feather roll). Udon soup is great and so are the lunch bento boxes. The krab rangoons are so sweet and delicious I get them as desert a lot, them or fried green tea ice cream!
Good fresh sushi. Staff was pleasant. If you get there before 7, there are happy hour prices on some of the rolls. Update: Came back here and sat at the bar. Bartenders were fantastic and the sushi is really good. Drink prices are really reasonable.
They have really good sushi here, great service, and great prices. Really nice place. The desserts are amazing and so is everything else. They even serve octopus. My favorite thing here is Crab Ranguine.
Great HH menu. Rolls for $4.95. Chad takes great care of us! Highly recommend to stop in. Next to a grocery and liquor store. Plenty of parking.

We come here with a family group of 12, inc 6 kids, for birthdays. We place our order in advance. The sevice and food are always excellent.
Really good sushi menu with all the choices I could think of. The lunch specials are a god value The atmosphere is nice too. I definitely recommend Samauri.
Jared like the jewelry was the best server I have ever had. Within the first 2 minuets and 49 seconds I knew that he was more than just a server. This man curated such a 5 star culinary journey. I was left speechless at the shear level of knowledge he possess about the menu and Samurai based food and food accessories. Would recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding 5 star time.
Always best in town and worth every praise. Family business for many years and still a well kept secret.

Love the server and the ambiance of the place. The food was not a hundred percent Japanese, however it was a fusion of flavors from other cuisines, which I found very tasty. I would recommend.
I enjoyed it the crab rangoon. It was pretty unique. I had never seen it prepared that way. The Tokyo roll was pretty bland you couldn't really taste the difference in any of the fish. The spring rolls were tasty though.
Its so hard to find amazing sushi and super easy to find simple Publix sushi. I think this place is actually pretty good. I had the Mississippi roll which was surprisingly spicy and pretty tasty. The volcano roll is good but does have a strong fishy taste but I didnt think it was bad at all. I didnt care for the sashimi roll. It just tasted like fishy cucumber. I really enjoyed the Tropical roll. It was sweet and crunchy and I loved the coconut twist. The dynamite roll is sweet and a plain roll. Not bad pricing. We didnt go in so I'm not sure about the dining experience. I would recommend this place and if I'm in thus area again I know tgis place is better than a lot of places in Lake Mary.

Not bad, not amazing, run of the mill American Japanese place. Pretty good sashimi. First, the good: The fish quality was good, though we only tested salmon and yellow tail. I would definitely eat it again. The sushi tasted more fresh than Publix, which isn't a high bar, but a good sign. The udon noodle broth/flavor was good and the cast iron pot they served it in kept it piping hot and authentic looking. The server was friendly and food came out quicker than expected. People seemed relatively happy with the place, including the bar flies. They had a nice size crowd for a Thursday night. The not so good: Tempura batter was really heavy, not real tempura. Udon veggies were somehow undercooked while noodles were very soft. Nigiri sushi rice was coldish, not warm or even room temperature, and worse, the nori was mushy, not dry and crispy. A real sushi place always has crispy nori. Wasabi was not fresh ground, but store bought. Ginger not palatable. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest. Bar flies were a bit loud. It's a very Americanized place with non-Japanese staff. But at least they were fairly busy, suggesting that the average American likes their sushi and this works for them.
The food was alright. I feel like most of the things that I got were a little too greasy. It is a place I'd go to if I wanted sushi and I'm near by, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The service was excellent though, very nice and attentive.

Good place, but calamari and crab rangoon not too good; look like fridge food. We ordered Spider roll , volcano Rock n roll and tropical ... The tropical and volcano and Rock n roll was good in flavor. The spider was good but not enough! They have a long list of special rolls and they didn't provide too many time to read the menu and I feel like is hurry up up to order
This place is insanely overpriced for what you get. I ordered through DoorDash and was charged $7.95 for the spring rolls and $12.95 for what amounts to a side salad. Even if I ordered through the restaurant and picked it up myself, I would have paid $5.95 for the rolls (which isn’t outrageous but is still pretty overpriced for this amount) and $9.95 for the salad. The restaurant provided one small container of soy sauce for three full sized rolls, which did not work considering this meal was for more than one person and that should have been obvious given the amount of food that was ordered. Lastly, the soup wasn’t sealed properly and leaked all over the bag. I will say the spring rolls arrived crispy and the dipping sauce is good, but they only provided enough sauce for half the rolls. It’s quite clear they’re attempting to cut corners and save costs at the expense of the customer. We’re traveling for work and will likely not order from here on any subsequent trips.

I have made a special request to make it spicy instead they added very large amount of oil which made the food taste very bad. I have asked to provide spicy chilli oil on a side but they given plain oil. Looks like they are trying to sell more oil rather than food. Also There are hardly any veggies or egg seen in the fried rice. and very very over priced for the quantity they offer. I would rather go to a Chinese place where they serve much better fried rice but fairly cheap price.

Definitely concerned about the food at this location. The food tasted old and or had no flavor at all. Sushi is one of my favorites and I know that you should be cautious at time of where you get sushi from. Definitely don’t recommend.
I went in to grab a menu so I can see what types of food I would like to order but was attacked by one of the waitresses because she said I should have waited at the front door. While I looked at the menu. Even after I politely said thank you. She told me that I could just leave if I don't like the place. At no time, did I say anything except "I just want to look at the menu and thank you". Very rude for no reason.
I travel a lot for work and sushi is one of my go tos when I’m visiting new areas. I must say this place has to be the worst. I got two rolls and the crab rangoons (which were just artificial crab stuffed with cream cheese and then deep fried like a mozzarella stick). Presentation was great, but the taste was god awful.
