I can honestly say that I was truly impressed with not only the speed of service, the engagement of the cashier, as well as my overall experience in my very few minutes at this restaurant, which was nothing short of Amazing. The value I received was great and the food $$5.00 Classic Comho Box was warm and delicious to eat. It has been quite a few months since I have eaten at a Del Taco and I truly can remember that my last experience at the one on University Ave. In Riverside wasn't very mindful. It appeared at this location that the operation was well staffed, and it was especially remarkable that the manager was assisting on the food preparation line to get the meals out to the customers faster. The amount of teamwork that was exhibited at this location was nothing short of admirable. You could almost sense the dedication and hard work that everyone exercised from those employees that appeared within my sight and that each of them executed their positions well. This indicates to me that they were dedicated, well respected, trained well, and performed their duties in a very mindful manner. You could very much sense the well balanced cohesion of this operation Hurray!! to one the best Fast Food experiences I have had in a long time

I love this Del Taco on Florida n Sanderson. My food is fresh. Not skippy in any of the products! Yet many Taco Bell items that I pay double for I can get for $.79 n be more filling than matching items. The Sam with the value menu's. Go Del Taco n the Management great job.

Went through the drive-through, so I have no info about the inside but ordered quickly and drove right to the window. You can tell food is made to order and not sitting under a hot lamp when you have a slightly longer wait, but the good is worth the wait!! Good quality, fast, fresh, and a decent price! What more can you ask for???

I've been going to this Del Taco for years and Phyllis is truly one of the reasons I come back to this location. If she's ever had a bad day, she definitely didn't bring it into work because she has been a ray of light from drive through speaker to window every single time I've ordered. Always positive, prompt and smiling. After a long hard day at work my grumpy self can't help but be bubbly and kind back to her while she's STILL AT WORK. shout out to Phyllis and another quick shoutout to Madison working the window who was also extremely kind and receptive with my order today. Never had a bad experience here.

I went inside the area was free from homelessness. Inside and the restrooms were clean at the time I visited and during the time I was eating there was either somebody sweeping the floor or they were cleaning the front door to come in. The food came out in under 5 minutes. This is based on my experience only things could change in the future

I love Del Taco, but the service can be slow here (in drive thru). Could be because it is so busy. They have a really great manager that works nights, can't remember her name, but she works fast, is very polite, and make sure everything is correct.

A del taco in Hemet is never going to have a great atmosphere, but I did see the staff assisting a disabled person with crossing the drive through and making it to the bathroom without even being asked. The food is what it is. It's Del Taco, and it's consistent. But the staff and the effort that day were amazing

Fast, efficient, friendly. Drive through experience only at this location so far, but so far, so good. I like the fact that they cook the beans in-house fresh 😋 all we get is the bean and cheese burritos typically. I think it's the closest to real food at a fast food chain that you can get.

The food is good and fresh and this is one FF place that actually gives you enough napkins. I forget to ask for them. I only gave 4 stars for food because let's face it, this isn't authentic Mexican food. Lol. 3 stars for atmosphere. Hard chairs or benches is like a school careteria.

Have had a few orders recently deliverd from Grubhub. Today the fries arrived soggy and undercooked. Usually they are properly cooked. Employees get impatient, I believe, and cut corners. I tried the new fried pickle taco and loved it, especially as a vegetarian. Very different, small enough to fit in my mouth, and no beans to cause major farting. The queso, as always, is 5 stars. I have one with my fries and save one for later to use at home with chips. Will buy the pickle taco again soon.

This particular location has been on a steady decline the last few years, though this reflects less on the employees and more on the surrounding region. The functionality and overall condition of equipment and the business park itself is in need of a major upgrade. the drive-thru access is narrow and has a turning radius not well suited to the wheelbase of larger pickup trucks and entrance/exit creates traffic jam.

IT sucks, tacos don't look fully loaded like the picture, they look like flower rolled tacos and did have a good flavor, but I ate it because I was really hungry. Never again, God bless.

Food was good. Service was excellent. But at the time we were in there, a group of homeless came in. Nothing against homeless, but personal hygiene was not their strong suit. When it changes the flavor of the food your eating, that's when I draw the line.

I've been to this location many times and the food is always inconsistent. Most of the time they get my order wrong in the drive thru and the ice In my ice tee is always melted away before i get home. I guess its because its fresh brewed and it's always hot. Guess they missed the point of iced tee. Ohh and the wait times are usually really long too. If I were you I'd skip this location unless you like to gamble lol.

My Del Taco in town was my favorite for a long time because they always had great food but I just don't like that they keep taking things off the menu and I know that's all Del Tacos that have to do that but the service is not great sometimes so I usually don't go there. The last time I went I asked for two things and they were out of both.

Is the drive thru speaker is broken or something? Maybe the headset the person taking our order was using was broken? I don't but the girl had a really hard time hearing my order. Either way, management should really consider providing better equipment. We had a pretty large order, but every single taco we ordered was supposed to be soft, but ALL of them were hard shell. Also, almost all of them were broken. The rest of the order was perfect and I appreciate that.

Went through the drive thru and a lady was standing there to take our order. She wasn't very friendly she acted like it hurt that we needed time to read the menu board. The dining room is very dirty and run down. Old food and debris under the tables looks like they haven't swept in weeks. Pincher bugs by the soda machine. Fountain drink nozzles taste like they haven't been cleaned. Old graffiti on the tables. Just seeing the dining room, I would hate to see what their kitchen looks like.

Jamie!! The shift leader. She is an awful leader. I mean to lead your team you have to be competent, excellent at your position, and in this case have great customer service skills. She did not. While her team was busting there butts completing orders she just walked back and forth looking at the order screen. Stating there is nothing she could have done to help her team. Once my order was finished I asked her to just make sure everything was there and she then yelled to an employee who took the order to help me. Completely rude. Just spent about $15 on my lunch hour at this del taco. Ordered chicken tacos and carne asada fries with chicken instead of steak. Chicken was luke warm and fries were soggy like they were not cooked all the way and cold as if the warmer isn’t working. 15 dollars is a lot of money. Do better.

The two days that I did visit there which was a day apart, they messed up my order each time. I waited a REALLY LONG TIME in the drivethru to get my order because someone in front ordered a ton of food. No lie, I was in the exact same spot for 22 minutes before the car at the window moved. If the staff would have been smart, they would have told him to wait out front for such a large order.

Cashier PHYLLIS is horrible! They need to train their cashiers how to accept split card transactions, LISTEN to what the customer is telling her and actually APPLY THE GIVEN COUPON!!! Horrible, absolutely horrible service, held up a line behind us because she couldn't follow instructions and then never offered any sauce! Recommended if you feel like wasting your time and arguing to get your food. Only reason it got a second star was for good food.

I've been to this location twice in the past month and a half. The first time, I got home with my order and found that I was missing a burrito. The second time I went in, I was overcharged on the Thursday chicken taco special but was reimbursed the difference without issues. However, when I was given my order, I knew to check my bags based off the previous experience. I was given my orders of fries and burritos but the chicken tacos were missing. Not only did they initially overcharge, they were ready to send me off without the tacos. I should have done a better job of actually checking the fries because when I got home, we realized that they were so soggy that they all clumped together.....all three large orders of fries were like that. Needless to say, it was not worth the drive back and wasted time. We ended up throwing away a little more than half of them because they were just so soggy and they weren't even salted. The employees all seemed nice enough and the dining area was quite clean. There just needs to be more emphasis on attention to detail and quality of the food.

This Del Taco is not big on service. I noticed that most fast food restaurants are going with the self order kiosk, as this one does. My wife had a question about one of the value menu items, and the young lady just gave her a dismissive look and pointed at the order screen. She was not about to take time out of her day to offer a bit of help. An older couple came in and saw the ordering stations, and they turned around and left. Food was slopped together on our combo meal; not to full of food. My wife's chicken tacos had 2 small pieces of chicken in each taco, a greedy way to make money. The soda did not have much syrup flavoring to make it seem like a regular soda. All in all, it is a very bad example of a Del Taco. Will think twice about coming back !!! The tables were also not clean, and we had to shop around for a clean one before we sat down; yikes !!!

Out of all the del taco locations I’ve been to, this one is definitely the worst. My taco barely had any contents inside. It was literally just the shell. This is not the only time I’ve had a bad experience here because a while back ago I had ordered a burrito and the rice inside was severely undercooked. It felt like biting little plastic bits. I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The food quality was subpar, and the drive-through lady exhibited rude behavior. Moreover, they conveniently claimed not to have any change when I requested it, which felt like an excuse rather than a genuine issue. Overall, not a pleasant visit.

Will not fill any mobile orders at the drive-through. Did not tell me this until I was already stuck in the drive through. I explained this was my order and that I was not a delivery driver. They refused to give me my order, and made me park and come inside after already waiting 10 minutes in the drive through. The worst service, the last two times I've gone the staff doesn't serve you, they send you directly to their kiosk without knowing that you have questions and if you try to talk to them they barely respond in a rude way, I will never go back there.

They seem lazy here, I ordered a macho fry and the fries were old and it was only filled half way. Not to mention if you pay for extra cheese, like I did, they charge you and give you half what they would regularly give. I also ordered extra secret sauce on the side and the charged me but I didn't receive it. I will not go to this location again. I'll spend the extra time to go to San Jacinto or Valley Vista locations from now on. It's a shame.... they are more about rushing the orders through then their quality of the orders, management should learn to balance speed and quality better.

Male and female working at 6:30 am with lights off is really weird. I had to call just to see if it was open because the employees turned off all their lights. HORRIBLE!!! Woman who has working there for years took 15 minutes to just order our food! Then couldn't figure out how to work the register. Clearly seemed like she was high on something and kept touching her face and then everything else. Then after we asked for condiments and straws and plasticware they didn't give us any of it we had to go back. We will not be going back to this location again.

My husband and I have been there 4 times and had to go thru the drive thru. It is a big joke with the food service at this one. They give no hot sauce , no napkins. No forks , no straws. The dining room was extremely filthy. It was so dirty I almost left my food because I was so disgusted. As I left, I asked the lady at the counter if there was someone who is supposed to be cleaning the dining room because it was obviously very neglected and she sort of just laughed and shrugged me off. (All good) I asked the lady to please make sure that there was sufficient Burger sauce at the window and she assured me she would let them know and also told me she told them when she brought it to my car as they had me pull around front to wait.. I got a small squirt for 70 cents at the West Hemet Del Taco! Both burgers are dry as hell and I paid $3.19 for each burger to taste like dry cat food. Why are all these fast food places raising prices and lowering all standards!!? If someone pays for something, they expect and deserve to get what they pay for without question!

I have eaten at this location several times as I live down the street. Ever since the employee pay increase, the quality of the food is just awful. My last 2 attempts have left me nauseated to the point where I won't be back. The meat had a very weird texture to it, the tortillas are stale and tacos are almost empty. This is unfortunate as this used to be one of my favorite places.

Food: the shells were stale and the soda machine was disgusting. Service: terrible, they might have very well have spit in my drink that I exchanged. Won’t ever be back to this location after last night when I got halfway through my burrito and got a disgusting, musty taste that caused me to gag immediately and use my to go bag as a barf bag. It’s a shame because the service is surprisingly good every time but the food is just awful.

Just went to get tacos they didn’t have cheese and it was fine but they gave me a taco with Basically nothing in it. I didn’t just order a taco shell.

Yesterday, 7/26/23 Wednesday, we ordered 2 double del burgers with 2 sides of bacon along with a few other items. When we got home to eat, we realized we had been charged for the 2 sides of bacon, but they were not in the bag. The burgers were good, although not well done nor hot. We ate the food and then called Del Taco many times but each time the phone just rang, I had to leave for work and called them again after work, a young woman answered, she was polite but sounded rushed, I explained about the 2 sides of bacon and she said, the next time you come, you can get the meal replaced. Today, 7/27/23 Thursday, we ordered the same through the drive-through and explained what happened yesterday. The car ahead of us stalled and wouldn't start. My friend asked all the other customers in the drive-through if they could get out and help push the vehicle (owner, an elder man) out of the drive so we could all get our orders, he went inside and asked if anyone could come out and help. The lady at the counter said yeah no problem, but no one came out, and only 1 person in the drive-through got out to help, a woman. All the others (3 cars behind us) sat in their cars watching, while my friend and the old man pushed and the lady steered! How disappointing! Speaks volumes as to what kind of ppl are in the world today!! Thank you to that kind lady!! When we finally got to the window, they said the manager wouldn't let any employees help due to liabilities! They gave us only one burger at first and mushy fries, then when we told them there were 2 burgers we got another one but they served it with an attitude! Del Taco manager, YOU SUCK! If we and the lady hadn't helped that old man, your drive-through would have come to a complete stop for at least an hr or more! No "thank you" from them or any of the other drive-through customers!!!! I really hope, if any of you ever find yourself in need like this stressed out old man, (he had groceries in the back too), I hope no one helps but just sits there and watches you struggle alone! BTW, the burger was so-so. Sadly, I might have to stop going to this Del Taco, out of integrity alone!

This Del Taco at 3100 W Florida every night seems to have this rude older gentleman working. Today at 3:57 March 28 I had pulled up to the drive thru after making 2 orders through the mobile app I was told that they are closed until 4:15 and that I had to wait to receive my order. Total inconvenience and rude every night we come here. Thumbs DOWN here.

I ordered a 1/2lb bean and cheese burrito with red sauce along with a medium fry, I received my fries but I also ended up with a burrito with cheese and red sauce only. It’s clear that you guys cannot read online orders correctly, because this is not the first time that this location has messed up an online order of mine. Super unacceptable.

That FOOD is always COLD! I go there for lunch and I see the same Woman making the food. I ask HER Why the FOOD is always COLD and She tells Me that Your Guyses equipment isn't working WELL. Fix this PROBLEM or keep LOOSING CUSTOMERS!

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an extremely unpleasant and disrespectful experience I had at one of your locations. Location: Del Taco #141 – Hemet, CA Date: January 24, 2026 Time: Approximately 2:24 AM Order Number: #3 Employee Name: Rolando (drive-thru) I visited this location through the drive-thru and was treated in a very rude and unprofessional manner by the employee named Rolando. From the beginning of my order, he repeatedly rushed me by saying “Are you done? Are you done?” while I was still ordering. I was polite, respectful, and did not take an unreasonable amount of time. When I pulled up to the second window, I tried to be courteous and said, “Hey sir, how is your night going?” His response was extremely shocking and inappropriate. He replied: “Is that any of your business? Mind your damn business.” I was very taken aback and responded calmly, saying, “Oh, excuse me, I apologize.” He then handed me my food and said “Have a nice night,” and I drove off. This interaction was completely unacceptable. I did not show any disrespect whatsoever and was simply trying to be friendly. Being spoken to in that manner by an employee is not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful and inappropriate for any customer service environment.he had also got my order wrong I frequent Del Taco and have always expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. This experience made me feel uncomfortable and upset, and it reflects very poorly on the standards of customer service at this location. Management seriously needs to look into this matter. I do not believe customers should ever be spoken to in such a hostile or disrespectful way, especially when they have done nothing wrong. I hope this issue is addressed promptly and that appropriate action or training is taken to ensure this does not happen to other customers in the future. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Asked to cancel order and they couldn't or wouldn't help. I called 5 times calmly asking in different ways. Asking for the customer support number and they said they don't have one. I went to the location and asked to have food made fresh and they rebagged it and handed it to me.

Update Close it down, I go to del taco because I never get sick from there food, always fresh, Not here, and everything is half the size of other del tacos. Here's a del classic chicken burrito I just got, notice the size compared to my finger. The tomatoes were all decomposed and smelt sour. It's management. Update: we went back to see if they have improved. The prices went up at Del Taco but the amount of food went down look at this taco. The owner has to be telling them to make the food skimpy to increase profits. I drive all the way to Menifee to Del Taco totally different food made.

They are supposed to be 24 hours, yet at 8:30 am on a Thursday they have all the doors locked, the drive thru closed, and refuse to answer the phone.
