Try one and you will be hooked on phonics...lol They located very close to the thru way exit for Herkimer, and have several tables for larger groups. I grew up with Tony's pizza & still order a pie whenever I'm visiting family in town. It's one of the few things I miss about Herkimer.

I have never had a bad experience at this place it might be over priced but you get what you pay for 2 Large and 50 wings for $50 thats a good deal only because there larges are bigger than most of the places around and there wings are never overcooked this place a really good place to eat

Hot damn, it's a little pricey but honestly 200% worth it. There's actually toppings on the pizza! It's not just some little sprinkles of bacon, pepperoni, sausage, etc. It's actually worth what you pay! Great service and better food, definitely gotta go.

Their pizza's are as good as homemade pizza. I highly recommend this restaurant, and their salads are exceptional. The sausage topping tastes like real sausage unlike many other pizzerias' sausage toppings. Their eat-in area is close to restaurant style

This place is without a doubt my favorite pizza place in literally the entire world. When I think of quality, this place is the first thing that comes to my mind. I literally always look forward to eating here Every time I come back to my home town. It's that simple, loving childhood place that's always been and always will. The pizza itself is fantastic, thick mozzarella cheese over a bed of generous sweet and fullbodied marinara on a thick fluffy, buttery crust. If you're in the market for amazing pizza, or maybe you want a place that you can build memories with and grow with, then I can't think of a more satisfying and deserving place.

Giving them 5 stars because I feel terrible, but these guys are very very expensive. I'm staying at the hotel down the street, I drive truck, and figured I'd order a pizza for myself from a local joint, while im here for my 10hr layover. Searched Google, and these guys had 4.4 stars, so I tried to go to their website, which just opened the facebook login page on my browser. So I called and a gentleman answered the phone and I asked for a medium meat lovers, I was told they only have large and small, cool make it a large I'm hungry. He tells me what toppings come on it, all sounds great, then I hear alright that'll be 14.40 like 25 30 minutes, I think to myself wow decent deal, cool! I used to manage an oip, we regularly ran deals like that, especially before 3pm, so I didn't think anything of it. So I relax, change, and get back on my phone to read some of these glowing reviews! Common complaint even in the 4 and 5 star range was "price" and one person mentioned paying "25.00 for a large 2 topping" and I thought to myself, there's no way on earth he said 40.40 did he? So I scramble to call back. Got a polite girl on the phone, and explained the situation, she went and asked and came back to tell me it's already in the oven nothing they can do.... so now I'm scrambling anxious that I can't allow myself to spend 40.00 on a pizza! and wow that's a wild price. Not sure what to do, but I can't pick it up. Just paid rent and filled my oil tank at home im tapped out, and I'm not putting a 40.00 pizza on my credit card and making it a 43.00 pizza with interest, no offense lol I'm sure they can slice it out tonight during dinner, but wowzers deffinetly make sure when a customer calls from an out of town number and your right next to hotels, and they order a 40.00 pizza, make sure they heard that price correctly! I mean my local pizza place with a similar Google rating makes me a totally unique deep dish, pan Sicilian sheet pizza with meatball, ricotta, and ziti. It's hard to find any good pizza shop that will make this pizza due to the ziti (it's so good btw) and it's 37.00 and some change... hence the number 40 wouldn't even register as correct in my brain for 1 pizza for 1 person. I was expecting 25 or so maybe pushing 30. I'm sure the pizza is solid, everyone has great things to say about the food, and I wish I could have tried it. Very sorry guys. A menu on Google would help as that's what I went for first but I don't know my Facebook login to login on my browser. I believe you can change the Google domain url to open the Facebook "app" instead of your browser inside your dashboard. Anyways I'm very sorry guys, I hope there's no hard feelings.

Absolutely mind blown! Owners are so friendly and personable! Never been a pizza fan but omg this place was phenomenal! We had the Buffalo chicken pizza and the sausage pizza! Had to grab more to take home! A must do stop on life's adventure!

Got take out pizza for maybe the 5th or 6th time... I don't write many reviews, but this is the first 2nd review I've written. It's good. The pizza is consistent, delicious & worth it! I also own a food business, and I always hear "we don't care what it costs, as long as it's worth it". Tony's has been worth it every time. Well done.

This was the first time my fiancee has had Tony's in Herkimer and he was so amazed, he couldn't stop eating it! We ordered a double cheese half pepperoni and the portions of cheese was just right, pepperoni was crispy. All around happy with this order! Thank you!

In the middle of a roadtrip we stopped off strictly because the reviews were awesome. Man, so glad we did!! I got the chicken cesar salad and the garlic pizza. These portions lasted me for like 3 days!! Service was so attentive and they are experts at what they do. It was clean for the most part, but right before closing so I figured no biggie. The bathroom was very decent. Prices are reasonable and you're supporting a small business so why not. Will visit again when in the area!

Visiting from Chicago. I ate here because it was SO HOT outside I didn't want to walk far from my hotel. It was unbelievably good. I tried a slice they had already sitting there and it was so good I ordered a whole pizza. I had an unusual pizza with hamburger,sausage,cherry tomatoes,jalepeno and a lot of ricotta cheese! It's among the best I've ever had anywhere. Cool people working there too. The dining atmosphere is plain Jane and nothing to write home about, but most folks were just getting it to go. This is really really good!

While staying In Herkimer,NY for a night i decided to try this pizzeria on the advice of the desk clerk at my hotel and her advice was correct Tony's Pizzeria makes a great pizza and there garlic bread is very good also. The pizza is what i would call a thick crust but not pan style. I ordered a small pepperoni and sausage with extra cheese and an order of garlic bread. I got it to go, but the pizzeria looks like a great place to eat in at with plenty of seating. My pizza and bread took about 20 minutes, and It was ready to go back to the Red Roof Inn with me.

After a day of riding the Empire State trail we were ready to EAT. Tony’s Pizzeria was recommended by our hotel staff and we were very very pleased by the quality of their pizza and salads. This was not your super thin crust NYC pizza but instead had an amazing thick chewy crust with completely generous toppings and cheese. Highly recommend Tony’s…GRAZIE, Tony!!!

Really great restaurant! Me and my mom got pizza as we were waiting for my road test right across the street. Staff were super nice and seemed to have a strong passion for pizza. I got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and god it was so good. There was a piece of chicken in every bite and the garlic sauce in the pizza was amazing

I was traveling from out of state with my family and we got takeout there. All the food was great, thicker crust pizza, great fresh toppings. I have a dairy allergy and asked if their pizza without the cheese is (bread and sauce are both hit or miss). It was safe but the owner went out of his way to clean all the surfaces and utensils when preparing my pizza and said he takes it very seriously as his fiancé has food allergies. They are a small local place with great food and great attention to detail. I highly recommend them!!

Stopped here on our way by on I-90. A little pricey when going for multiple toppings, but the pizza was loaded and good! Worth the price in my opinion. Staff was friendly, no complaints! Shared the pizza between three of us and still had some leftover.

Had a chicken wing slice....was really good, bottom was crispy, which was surprising because it seemed kinda pan-like. Super good....would order a whole pie but with a spicier wing sauce and a cup of blue cheese.

Stopped in with group of four for an afternoon slice Christmas Eve day. Ordered up four cheese slices and drinks the friendly staff. Super hot on non paper plates cause the cheese was melty(wasn’t soaking into a typical paper plate). Crust good and cheese sauce ratio spot on. Flavorful. Good visit Sept 2021 Back again! Quick for takeout slices with a wide variety. Very good crispy crust. Even distribution of ingredients per slice. Will be back!

The restaurant was very clean. I believe they are an order and go shop more than Dine-in. Greetings were minimal, but acknowledged you were present. They were very busy around dinner time. Very confusing who you should give your order to. Beverages are limited to just bottles. No fountain. Food seems very fresh and tastes great. The Dine-in area is booths and tables and is great for a date night if you want privacy and chance to talk

I ordered 20 wings and a large, everything but anchovies (EBA) pizza. The food was incredibly good but I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when they told me it was $65. I learned my lesson. Next time I'll order a small or medium-sized pizza.

Address in Yelp seems wrong but found via Google. Good thing we did because the pizza was very good. Crust was nice, thick but light and crunchy, a la Sicilian pan pizza but not square. Fresh veggies, sauce wasn't too sweet or heavy and ok cheese (maybe a little bland). Great little road trip find.

I've never heard of a pizzeria that doesn't make calzones or garlic knots! The food was alright, nothing to write home about. The kid at the counter gave me some creepy looks which made me a little uneasy!

Was surprised there wasn't a bigger menu to choose from. On vaca from Pa this place was recommended cause it's open on Sunday. Very limited choices on where to eat. Plenty of fast food.. The girls were super nice the place was clean. Very hot in there not sure they have any air. 96 today so sitting in there was tough I'd suggest ordering to go.

It's not Italian pizza, but more closer to what you would get from Dominos. The seating was completely empty making for an awkward dining experience. Had to change tables to avoid looking at Fox Spews. A cheap but forgettable evening.

Yet another company in herkimer county that has a posted schedule yet they open and close when they feel like it. Food is good dont get me wrong but when you're supposed to be open and completely closed. And not once but several times there should be a schedule just put open when we feel like it. This is the worse county to support small businesses because they cant support themselves.

The food was WAY over priced. 20-25 for a pie with 2 toppings. The pizza was thicker than i like. But other than that the walls at decorated with the owners' children's high school sports pictures and the entire place is just ooozing love and family.

This Tony's location in Herkimer is absolutely terrible and I mean terrible. Order pizza and wings, they come out and its cheese no pepperoni like we ordered and the wings had this horrible oily so called mild atop. Let me tell you it was weak tasting and nasty. The pizza was no better than microwave pizza and definitely was not worth $50 plus bucks. The icing on the cake was you get ZERO ABSOLUTELY NO blue cheese and celery with 30 wings when ordered, you have to pay $2.00 extra per celery and blue cheese cups. Steer clear of Tony's in Herkimer for pizza and wings you can get better products at Fast Trac!

When me and my family all got cheese pizzas, we go to our table and they where freezing cold. There was an extreme amount of sauce on the pizza and it tasted frozen and cheap. Everything that was sold there was also overpriced. Once my family got home w felt sick to our stomachs to to the food. Never going again!

Terrible customer service, burned the bottom of my pizza tasted like charcoal. Called the next day because it was close to closing time and didn't want to bother them and keep them waiting all night to make a new one. Not even an apology or a discount or anything. Really went downhill since the daughters started managing.

We always have enjoyed the pizza, however, tonight we ordered MED wings to go along with our dinner..the wings were not MED they were extremely HOT! I brought them back to the counter ( we ate there) the girl gave me blue cheescheese to lighten the hotness. I wanted MED. Not bluecheese No one came to check and see how our meal was. Had to bring our left overs to the counter. Poor service last night very disappointed.

I got a Tuna wrapp and it was very bland and dry and barely had any mayo on it at all. They barely had a wide selection of anything at all and was very slim to none at all. There were only 3 employees working in the store..

We have been excited to go back to valley to get a few things over the years. • half moons • greens • chicken parm •tonys pizza. We were completely disappointed. Tonys what happened? Asked f double cheese, so when cost was 68.00 + for 2 large eba we were boy extra cheese cost lot more, , but when we opened box hard to find cheese for normal pizza Burnt bottom and skimpy toppings Sorry but you have completely dropped the ball. Guess if your patrons think this is still good they must eat often and not realize how HORRIBLE your quality has gotten as you must be slowly skimping. If I could you would get a negative 10
