🎄✨ Welcome to Home Alone Christmas at Molloy’s, aka the Miracles at Molloy’s holiday pop-up takeover! If Kevin McCallister had been sipping on hot buttered rum instead of fighting off burglars, this is where he would’ve hung out. The vibes? A full-on Christmas wonderland with enough twinkling lights, festive decor, and holiday cheer to make even the Grinch feel jolly. The cocktails are pure holiday magic—let me just say, the Snowball Old Fashioned and Hot Buttered Rum are the gifts that keep on giving. Smooth, spiced, and sexy, these drinks set the tone for a cozy, boozy night. Now, let’s talk food, because it’s not all about the cocktails (though they’re worth a second shout-out). The burrata pizza is a slice of creamy, cheesy heaven—pair that with Jerry’s top-tier service, and you’ve got yourself a holiday experience you won’t forget. This guy runs the show with a smile, making sure every table feels special. So grab your friends, your date, or even your mom (she deserves some Hot Buttered Rum too) and head to Patrick Molloy’s for a holiday hangout that’s equal parts fun, festive, and oh-so-flirty. Cheers to Christmas cocktails, pizza perfection, and miracles on the pier!
I have eaten here 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Once for a date w my partner. Once by myself for lunch. And once w my partner and our 4 kids. We've ordered different entrees each time. We love the food here and it's affordable. Plus, there's outdoor seating (including heaters), which is a must for us. The buffalo cauliflower is a good appetizer. The chicken tacos are good (I did add tapatio though because they're not hot, which is great for people who don't like hot things). The shepherd's pie is alright. Not the best shepherd's pie I've ever had, but it's okay. It uses a thick brown gravy sauce where I feel like it would be a thinner, more flavored sauce most other places and if cooked at home. I likely won't order that again. The steak plate was good. Cooked the way we asked (🙏) and precut into strips. The fries are seasoned well and burgers are good. The burger meat could be seasoned more though, but overall the burgers as a whole are really delicious.
I met a couple of friends on a Sunday afternoon on the Hermosa Beach Pier for drinks, food & live music. The band was fun to listen and dance to . The service was great, and the appetizers were very tasty. I had the loaded potato skins with bacon & my friends shared a small pizza.
So good!!! Had the fish and chips and a pretzel to start and was so worth the visit. After tasting my BF's blackened chicken kinda jealous of his meal. Awesome service and even went to find the calorie count for me from the owner, way above and beyond! Food came out quickly an perfectly done. Forgot to take a picture before, but got one halfway through and very generous portions!

Patrick Molloy’s in Hermosa Beach nails the holiday vibe! Their Christmas festivities are beautifully done, with festive decor and a lively atmosphere. The Santa Tiki cups were a fun, creative touch that added extra cheer to the experience. Perfect spot for a holiday night out!
Always love this place. My son and I have always enjoyed eating breakfast and the view here at Patrick Malloy's in Hermosa Beach
The live music here was insane! Such an unforgettable experience. Whichever band that was there 8/29/25 at night was legendary. That guitarist was SHREDDING! The band altogether was pure musical bliss. My bf liked his beer a lot and it wasn’t too crowded. Super friendly and clean. Just good vibes all over. Perfect for dates or outings in general and parking was easy and it felt safe. Plenty of police driving around.
Favorite spot on the pier. Top notch food, great service and a chill, fun vibe. I always swing by Molloys when I’m in Hermosa

Stopped here for dinner and our food was delicious. They have a nice selection of beers and signature drinks as well and our server was very friendly. They also seemed to be the only front of house worker that night but he was killing it hosting, serving, and working the bar
Have been here a few times now. It’s a good place to grab a drink and a snack and the happy hour menu is solid. Service is a little slow and could definitely be better, but it’s not too bad if you order at the bar. The ambiance and atmosphere is fantastic, especially during Christmas time!
Service needs hella improvement. Food and atmosphere are awesome, though. Recommend American double cheese burger, it’s one of the best I’ve tried. Been there more than twice for the Poke, as well.
Irish pub with live music on the Pier. They had 2 for 1 wings on Wednesdays so a couple of friends and I came here after Hermosa Run Club for a bite. There was a guitarist outside and the outside seating has heating. This place is close to a lot of other bars so on weekends, the place can become very lively. On that particular weeknight, it was chill and a good spot to simply hang out. It was also half off pizzas that night. Though the salmon flatbread is listed underneath the pizzas, note that the discount doesn’t apply to it. Credit cards accepted. They have happy hour deals on most nights.
Solid happy hour selection. Food can be a little greasy but the price and location is definitely worth it. Located in the heart of Hermosa Beach pier, Patrick Molloys offers a different type of happy hour options that you won't find elsewhere. I ordered the boneless bites with mango habanero and Buffalo cauliflower. The sauces on the wings and cauliflower definitely take the nurtrients out of the meal but they were absolutely delicious. My Buffalo cauliflower had a lot of Buffalo sauce, so I recommend to ask for light sauce. If you are looking for a great atmosphere to get a drink and small bites, Patrick Molloys is the place for you. On Friday nights they have live music and with the many TVs they have inside, you won't miss that Friday night sport showdown.
I came by to experience the music of Under the Influence, a Brazilian rock group. It was a little hard to hear their lyrics but then again, my hearing is probably faltering after years of loud music. I came with my Brazilian friends. They ordered caipirinhas with Vodka. I prefer cachaça but it was good for what it was. I think it could have used more lime and sugar. I also ordered chicken fingers. I'm not sure what it was but my stomach did not do well that night... At all. Not sure if I have the proper flora for harsh bar food and drinks. Be careful. Fun time!

Went on a Sunday afternoon. They were super busy so the service was a touch slow but tons of choices and good food and great location!
Service was strange, after waiting patiently for at least 5 minutes I had to go up to the bar to ask for a drink as staff was chit chatting amongst themselves. You can see from video it was not busy at all so a simple greeting and water within minutes would’ve been more than manageable. Customers want to feel appreciated, not like a burden. We have too many options of where to spend our hard earned money. In today’s economy you’d think staff who work on tips could/would grasp this basic concept. Can’t imagine what it’s like if they are busy. As far as Christmas decorations def an A+. Loved the holiday vibes. Had already eaten so Only had a drink & left but Super cute place! Not sure on food. So much potential with this place when customer service & food are on point……..
The servers were doing minimal service. The potato skins were basic, the fish tacos were OK and the buffalo cauliflower wings were the best of the three. Drinks looked good but I would highlight the food here.

Went during Christmas season and it was well decorated and perfect for a holiday feel, A+. Ordered a few things but the fish and chips were a disappointment. The chips were very skimpy but very oily. The two guojons of fish were like fish sticks. Very stingy. The portion of coleslaw was enough for three people and that was the worst tasting thing on the plate. It was saccharin sweet and goopy. Service was very nice.
Service wasn't great. Had to keep flagging waiter down as we watched another waitress constantly checking on her tables. Bigger party at one other table is all he cared about. Very lame. Did was decent. We visited for Christmas pop up special, but it wasn't really anything that special.

Total tourist trap to avoid! Make sure you confirm the price of each and every thing before you order, as we were completely ripped off... to keep it factual, there was happy hour menu that was unclear, which depending on interpretation, applied to drinks or to other things on the menu. The beers had no price on the menu, as the list was new and we were charges 15$ for the calamari despite the fact that the full price on the menu was 10$ (happy hour price was 7$) and were charged 9$ for the fries despite the fact that the only price on the menu was 4$... As we complained, we got a discount which didn’t even match the prices visible on the menu, so I complained to the manager who then (and here the worst part) took out his wallet and threw 1$ on the table and walked off mumbling... Unbelievably rude!!! Please avoid this place!!! We should have known this was not the right choice, seeing how empty it was compared to the restaurant on the left side of this one. If only I could say “well at least the food was great”, but I can’t say that because it was tasteless, especially the chicken taco had no taste at all... and as you can see from the photo, the beef taco hardly had anything in it... 2 our of 4 tap beers we tried were flat (hardly any carbonation)
Unfortunately I’ve experienced racism here twice in the past 3 months. Both times at the hand of the self-proclaimed owner. Shame, as I had high hopes for this bar. Do yourself a favor and do not come here if you are a person of color.
Maybe this is because I live in the midwest but the draft beer here is offensively expensive. Hubby and I each got two drafts and our tab was $57. The menu also has no prices listed for drafts which is weird
