Really good breakfast, and the burgers are some of the best in town. Just a little bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've never left disappointed and don't mind paying the little bit extra for the quality.

The wife and I came in for breakfast and it was nothing short of exceptional. Just wanted to thank Kelly for her outstanding service and a huge compliments to the rest of the staff. I most definitely will be returning.

The customer service, to the amazing vibes and food. Had the chicken fried steak, hashbrowns to the flap Jack's and was nothing left on the plates. Also their potato salad was off the change amazing home made, crafted.

2nd time here experience better on the second visit. Food was delicious had the cinnamon roll pancakes.😋😋😋😋 update 08-04-23 here for luch with my two buds and we left 100% satisfied again. Food was delicious once again the staff great and can't forget the cook! He might serenade you with a song 🎵 🙂 update 10-13-23 Today I had something I don't eat to often a bacon cheeseburger with Avocado. Incredible flavor I have not had such a delicious tasting burger in the high desert. I give it 5 stars for taste..

Great food. The homemade biscuits and gravy were awesome! We had corned beef hash and eggs and chicken fried steak! Excellent server, she knows her customers well! I would definitely check them out!

Delicious. I got the waffle, with eggs, ham and hashbrowns. My wife got a skillet. Both meals were delicious. Server was friendly and helpful.

This place is consistently amazing. Probably the best breakfast spot of put in the high desert for good old fashioned country Fair. I've been going to the skillets and its sister restaurants in phelan or somewhere near 30 years. Very friendly staff, laid-back, relaxing and enjoyable.

I have been going to this place for over 10 years and it is great. The staff is fun and friendly. The food is good coffee shop food. My Teenage grandson and his friends from school have started going there as well. It is always busy and they have a loyal following. They even open up early once a week to serve breakfast to a group of local business owners who have a weekly meeting there, they could go anywhere but they choose the Skillet 2 for their spot. You can eat there with confidence and know you will get good food and friendly service.

Huge breakfast plates. Too much to eat--great value. Some of the best biscuits I have ever had, yet the gravy has no flavor to it. They serve a pound of ham steak, or a five egg omelet. They have other items, but those two are my favorite.

Gonna have to give them 3 stars, the last lady was rude and gave me french toast instead of cinnamon roll french toast , then tried to cover it by telling me they didn't have it. Yet she brought the thing I originally ordered to a different table as we where leaving. Won't go here till we see our favorite waitress here.

Wasn’t a fan. Got the country skillet with sausage and bacon. Never had a skillet with the links and the slice of bacon on it whole. Usually they are diced and mixed in. The home style potatoes were more like a diced bake potato that was a little hard. The flavor was good and service was good but only worth 3 from me.

Eggs seemed to be extra small, they charge almost $4.00 for a cup of coffee which I think is too steep and they put way too much gravy on the food but other than that the food was pretty good

The lady was nice. The beef dip I ordered was nasty. I wish she would've told that they only had old left over scraps of beef and let me choose if I wanted it or not. What a waste of money... Can't believe you're comfortable charging $16.50 for a $3.00 meal. The taco place next door took care my lunch needs.

Took my family to the skillet too in hesperia for breakfast this morning. Service was good. Food on the other hand was horrible. Low quality, pancakes where rubbery ( I think they were microwaved ). Server said it was because they add orange juice and vanilla to the mix. Find another place if you want good food. I will never eat there again. You have been warned.

I was visiting family in Hesperia and was introduced to the Skillet... food was great and normally, so is the service. On my last visit a couple weeks ago (beginning of Aug/ 2020), I had left my wallet at my families home, but had my phone for Samsung pay. I've used it at this establishment before with no problem, but on this visit, I was treated poorly by a short, dark haired woman while trying to pay, almost like I was trying to rip them off. I explained to the her that I'd paid this way before, but she was resistant, snarky and condescending to me. I finally said in a polite manner, "could we just try it"? It clearly worked. The entire time she acted as though I was making her life difficult and actually said, "Well, I guess I have no choice then"! For those of you not familiar with Samsung pay,, its built on MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) technology which means it works wherever you can swipe a credit card, unlike Android and Apple pay which work on NFC (Near Field Communication) which require special Point of Sale terminals. She isn't expected to know that, but she never gave me the opportunity or the benefit of the doubt. Just treated me like a criminal! I will never give them another nickel! I was merely trying to treat my family to a well deserved breakfast after they experienced a flood in their home. Disrespectful and uncalled for!

Horrible service. Our bill was 20.00 And the waitress automatically added 7.00 tip to our bill ..make sure you look closely at your bill before you leave a tip on the table . I am sure most elderly people are getting goughed for their money .

Eggs Benedict are my favorite! Orange juice delicious!! I had been here before and it was great. I went back on Saturday and I ordered the Eggs Benedict without the side. I could care less if I pay the same or less for this, but I don't like wasting food and I know how easily I get full. The waiter was so insistent about, "Are you sure you don't want a side? You're still paying for it." She repeated this about three times. She also stated the same to another customer behind us. The repetition of her statement was so annoying and took away all the excitement I had for my food. Then she gave us the bill before we were done eating, something I do not appreciate as sometimes I like to order food to go or dessert.

Went to breakfast. The Waitress said, give me a minute and I'll get you a table. Out of the blue, the Owner started screaming," they can wait!" Our waitress looked so humiliated. I felt so bad for her. This is not the first time I witnessed this abruptly rude behavior from the Owner. Not acceptable behavior at all, I will not be back.
