Food was the Chili Verde pizza special, Chicken Sandwich, and Sriracha Burger. Beers we're Tripel Dare, Export Lager, and Terrifico. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable. All around a great lunch spot.

Fantastic brewery with an extensive selection of brews and a well-executed menu of classic brewpub fare. Very good salads and appetizers. My teenage daughter and I loved the fish and chips. Really good service. The selection of in-house beers is wild, and you can order 4-oz servings, if you care to drink light or try more than one. I was pleased that non-alcoholic brews are also available here. (Athletic and Corona NA.) Prices struck me as very reasonable. Yeah, I'll be back for sure.

Plenty of parking. Clean, open, seating next to the beer vats. They have a number of great beer choices. Seltzer as well. The burger was tasty, although the patty was smaller than most (think 1/4 pounder). the veggie pizza was also quite good.

Outstanding sweet potato fries with sauce. Tried a few of the beers loved at the sizes are 3 oz for most it's just above a tasting for a few bucks. This place is right on the road but it's not noisy and there is sun and shade on very thick Wood high tables with stools. May not be great for small children the strollers could navigate, dogs are welcome too.

This is a great local brewery! Laid back atmosphere, really good beer and tons of taps to choose from. The food was great, fast friendly service, and a fun place to grab a beer. There was ample seating with plenty of big tables for large groups. The gal behind the bar took the time to explain the beers and was happy to hand out samples. I love local breweries, and if you're in SLO, this is definitely one to stop at!!

Central Coast Brewing (CCB) is so good! Their food and flare is phenomenal! They have 14 of their own craft beers on tap and 9 additional guest beers in case they don't offer anything you like. I'd highly recommend the parm fries, pulled pork sliders and chicken sandwich! If you don't particularly enjoy beer, wine is also available. Inside and outdoor seating for both chilly and warm weather days. Modern updated interior and music playing at most times. They also have TVs playing some type of sports game on most occasions. Plenty of seating and parking available.

Tons of great beer choices and good food to go with it. Just because you are a brewery doesn't mean you have to serve mediocre food, these guys prove it. They have done a good job of social Distancing everything for the time being which makes for an much more comfortable experience. Get the brussel sprouts or tatter tots.

It's a fun pub to visit with friends any time of the week. Food is tasty and really hits the spot. They've got a lot of different games too, although it's normally really packed so you'll have to wait in line.

This place is super fun. It's a nice open environment that constantly had live music. On top of that, they have darts, pool, shuffleboard, and arcade games. And the beer and food is fantastic and reasonably priced.

Great beer, yummy food, quick service. Classic Video games, board games, good seating options. We had fun, enjoyed happy hour after fun on the dunes in Pismo.

I like salmon. I like salmon salad a lot. I've had a lot of salmon salads. The Miso Salmon Salad here was the best salmon and the best salmon salad I've ever had and it was only $13! Perfectly cooked salmon with a crackly miso glaze on top of fresh greens with sliced almonds, julienned carrots and pickled red onion. I got the Soy Lime Vinnegrette dressing and it was amazing. Regardless of the food they have a great beer selection and quick, friendly service. Highly recommended.

Huge taproom, 25 beers on tap as well as a handful of colab. brews which were awesome. Def get some food while you are here also. Service was awesome, beers were awesome and the games in the back are a good addition to have fun and enjoy some cold ones. Will def be back

Central Coast Brewing’s Higuera Street Restaurant and Tap House has really hit the nail on the head with great food, awesome beer and an atmosphere that promotes a fun time! If you like everything that makes the Central Coast great, you’ll feel right at home here!

Time sensitive, 03.30.23: Stopped by to pick up a crowler of their Tap 8 Pilsner which has a nice, dry finish. It's been a while since I bought a crowler, so I asked if they still had Crowler Hour. The guy who helped me out had not even heard of it. Must have stopped that special when they closed the old Monterey Street location. I'm thinking since CCB is celebrating its 25th anniversary, they should bring back the crowler hour for a limited time, at least for us old effers.

CCB reinvented itself a few years ago and now produces a consistently awesome lineup of beers. Brendan makes some of the best beers in California and is proof that a talented brewer can make all the difference for a small brewery. The Terrifico Mexican Lager is perfect on a hot day and the award-winning pale ales and IPAs are true to style and very tasty!

I had some good friends take me to have drinks and food at this place ans I gata tell you I am coming back with my Family for sure. Everything tasted great and a very family-friendly atmosphere!<3

They have such a large patio with plenty of shade. I chose to sit in the back patio and sipped on some kettle sour. This spot is a must if you are looking for a good beer.

Absolutely fantastic beer offerings, and equally as good service; plus, THE best veggie tacos I've ever had - hands down! They offer a variety of seating arrangements, including outdoor areas (front and back beer garden), and don't forget to check out their creative swag!

Great brewery! This place is beautiful and filled with gorgeous new brewery tanks and equipment, but it also houses a very long, live-edge wood bar with friendly staff, free tastes, great beer selections and a solid and tasty pub friendly menu. The bar area has about 20 beautiful live-edge tables with seating enough for a crowd and good vibe music. The back room has games and more tables, including foos ball, air hockey, shuffle board, pool and several arcade games to keep the kids happy. Out back is a nice seating area surrounded by large shade trees and looking over a fenced arroyo. Over the arroyo bridge is even more outdoor tables for larger events. Great place for a friends and family meet up or a special event. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite spots in town. Awesome fresh beers and the staff know their stuff. The food is good (not excellent, but better than is expected), and it's a really good price especially. I love to come here, get a sample platter of some different beers, and get writing done on the outdoor patio.

This is my favorite local brewery, and has been for a long time. Their tap list is always changing, with 15-20 CCB or guest beers at a time, and they do a great job with variety too. I've always had good service, and it's never been too crowded. They have pretty classic American pub food, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Visiting from Indiana and I have to say this place is awesome! Not only did I find my favorite beer (Blue Razz Sunset) but every beer I tried was quality. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was exactly what I look for in a brewery.

The new place is awesome! They have a whole rec area with a pool table, dart boards, and stand up arcade machines. Beer is great as usual and they have guest taps here. The food was also fantastic. The only thing we were iffy on was the fries, they were a little heavy on the parmesan, but everything else was perfect and the service was great.

We tried a few flights since it was our first time here. We sat outside on patio and the weather was great. We found a variety of beers that we liked as we snacked on the sweet potatoes and they were super tasty. Since we have a kid at CP, we’ll be back for sure.

I wish this place was closer to my house! The beers are factually award winning, and the food is great too. The last time I was there, Carrie helped me out. She is super knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure my beer flight was good to go. Kind of a beer hall vibe where strangers meet, and plenty of places to tuck away for something more intimate. Where to start?? The beer was cold and EXCELLENT!! But the miso glazed salmon salad surpassed all expectations! Yum..salmon done perfectly. Hubby had the best crispy fried chicken sandwich..far better than either Chick-fil-A and Popeye's! Righteous fries..all in all, a picture perfect experience

We've been to the original location off of Monterey many time and thought we would try out this location. Crazy enough, we have driven by this location several times and didn't even see it! Shame on us. :) It's across from the shooting range. It has a one way entrance and one way exit for their parking lot. But there are several places to park at this location. When you walk in, you are greeted with the beer tanks, brewing and doing their thing to create the CCB goodness you get in your glass in the middle of the room. All seating is surrounding the tanks. To your left are the bar taps and to your right is the food area with a wood burning pizza oven. When we bellied up to the bar area, we were greeted right away and asked if we had been there before. Probably because when we came in we were gawking at how nice and open the place was. As always their beers were delicious! From our conversation, we will probably be coming to this location next time we are in the mood for a CCB beer. If you haven't visited you should.

Was hoping to get a bunch of my favorite peanut butter stout but I found out that they don't have any cans and they might not even renew their license with Skippy. Maybe they will come up with another peanut butter beer that is just as good without the brand name and Skippy jar marketing but half the fun was drinking out of a can that looked like a skippy peanut butter jar. I discovered the chai beer this time. It was surprisingly great tasting beer. If you like the chai spice flavor you will probably love it. The special pastrami pizza was another delicious surprise. Food was good. Beer was good. Service was excellent. The attractive young folk working the bar and restaurant were great with customer service. Very sweet and patient and charismatic. Answered all my questions and gave good recommendations. The steak nachos were great and the pretzel was good. The beer cheese sauce it comes with is the star though. Half the reason I was excited to come here is for the peanut butter beer that looks like a jar of skippy. That's a winner for sure but I was also happy to find out that I loved the Teriffico. That one is very light and refreshing. My only complaint is that a 4 pack of beer is like $20. I mean it's high quality beer and I know I know inflation... But $20 for 4 beers hurts my brain and I'm not one to usually cringe at prices.

Love the original spartan location. Tried out the new restaurant, south of downtown, and loved the vibe and small sample of food we had.

Go play ping pong, cornhole, and maybe even wager a beer over arcade games. But watch out for ryan he is a lil snappy. But Jessie makes up for it on the grill side!

Dramatic new location for a long-time local brewhouse. Shiny, fun, and a great place to meet up with friends (which we did). Love that small pours are available for all taps ... my wife likes beer, but doesn't need big pours.

This is an award winning brewery!!! But! They have decided to delve into food service and it is lacking. Great beer....slow (and cold) food service. Hoping they get a grip on it because we will be back ☺️

Enjoyed friendly service, variety of beer options, and flavorful menu to choose from with friends. Sliders and tater tots we're great, and got a couple IPAs, red lagers, and a sour. 22 taps to choose from with Central Coast Brew options in addition to guest taps. Arcade area, outdoor seating, and large tables in indoor seating make this a great spot for friends and family with kids. Great spot to check out and grab a beer!

The beer is good. Nothing jaw-dropping, but it is good. I'd love to see more German or English styles, but I get it, hazies still sell. Edit: To the owner, thanks for your response. Everyone loved the helles, and I liked the schwarz. Kitchen crew was great, the food was very good. Will come back on our next trip to see what's on tap again.

2024 - Very good beer beer, food has improved. 2018- I know this is a work in progress. Hopefully they can pull-it off, but the food needs serious work. The pizza was like an open face quesadilla. That aint a workin. Place looks awesome though. I know it will get better they just opened up.

Food was decent. Beers were amazing. And the game lounge is cool when it's slow. But I think they need to start a time sheet for the pool table. I went with my brother wanting to play but ended up leaving after 2 guys had the table for over an hour.

No flights. No smaller sized glasses on guest taps (Seems silly. If you have on your own taps, why not on someone else's?). Music loud which makes for difficult conversation. Food good. Friendly workers. Beer on tap always GREAT.

Good food. But waitress says no smoking in the outdoor area when they clearly don't have any signs posted. Do yourself a favor and post no smoking signs if you don't want smoking.

Had a beer and some food. Good selection of beer. We had pizza, very good. Fries, good and garlicky. Sliders, not impressed. One thing slice of meat, and too much bread.

Beers interesting, food pretty meh. The large chicken tenders were 5 pieces roughly 4 inches long, barely enough to fill the basket they came in for $11? The quesadilla and wrap were worth it though, definitely hit or miss with the food.

Games don’t work, one bar tender on a Friday night. Thumbs down. Good beer, but drink it elsewhere.

While driving through, we chose this place for lunch specifically for the food menu. We waited half an hour for the kitchen to open (11:30, not 11) only to find that there's a separate, limited menu on Sundays that the website doesn't mention. When we got there at 11, the normal menu was still out, and no one stopped us from taking them. The beers were average. The best part of our meals were the fries. The impossible burger was overcooked, and the wings were okay, but unexpectedly expensive (6 for $10). We probably won't be returning next time we're driving through.

Waited more than half an hour for a to-go order and ended up with a mediocre burger with moldy onions on it. First burger I had here was great, the four or so I’ve had since haven’t been even close to measuring up. The service is either unbearably slow, they throw a chunk of leather on instead of a patty, or they use some weird cheese like Kraft singles. The beer isn’t anything to write home about either. Use your would be wait time to drive out to Sylvesters if you want a burger.

Used to come here for the reasonably priced food. Just popped in to find prices up %40! Burgers now come without fries and grilled onions are $2! …it’s like airlines now sheesh! And they’ll tell you “ it’s because of inflation”…really? On fries? Margins first I guess, but I’ll move on.

Started out great with the 24 anniversary beer on tap, ordered a 24 pack because it tasted great. Whille sippin i thought i better try the can first to make sure it was the same. Lady said if i didnt like it i wouldnt be charged. Nope way more orange than anything else, no bueno. Asked to speak to a manager because i didnt want to debate with the waitress lady. She declined and began being rude while i never was, no name calling nothing just that i didnt care for the canned beer. She has the worst customer service skills ever she proceeded to deny giving me her name and telling me “to leave, they dont give free beer” with a glass full of beer in front of me as if i drank it all! Wow! Super rude and embarrassing. While walking out i spilled my beer and here comes a overweight guy charging at me like hes gone do something to me while walking out. Whata joke! The staff seriously needs some work!

I had an IPA at 7% ABV and 35 IBU and a Pale Ale with 5.6% ABV and 45 IBU that both tasted exactly the same. Both super citrusy and hoppy. Sorry Central Coast Brewing but you are the final straw that broke the camel. You do know there are style guidelines? You do know there are other beers than West Coast IPAs? You do know that there are other hop types than citrus? A peanut butter stout is a marketing gimmick and really not a valid alternative beer style!! There were three of us in the bar and two of us will not be back. Please work on some kind of choice and diversity of tastes. I actually don't know anyone who likes over hopped beer and I brew. (At the moment I have on tap an Anchor Steam, an Alaskan Amber and a Doppel Bock, all of which visitors have liked and none of which are West Coast IPAs)

Held mask on over my face. 2 employees told me I had to put mask ON. I left, they argued with friends that were still there. It got heated. Won't be back. We'll patronize non socialist establishments.

$32 tax and pre-tip... My burger was burnt, as was the bacon. It really looked like it was recooked, after sitting all day (6pm)... The 1 beer was ok, but $9 is highly inflated. Waay Understaffed, and my burned food was a DIRECT result of cook having to take orders at bar while bartender was on the phone. I can appreciate teamwork, thus management and role definition is the problem. Your cook is the Cook, not the cashier. That's even worse, handling food... Solution: 1st come, 1st served If bartender is taking an order, he says, "excuse me for a moment; I'll be right with you." People will wait for quality; they won't come for a $15 cafeteria burger...

Here is why I am so upset , whoever drove the delivery van away from brewfest is less than a human they decided to skip the entire line of people waiting to get out of the event. Whoever drove the van that day clearly feels like they come before all other people. I am glad I could clearly see what company was driving the truck so I could leave this hyper negative review. Also, this place has bad nachos. You can get better nachos an elementary school cafeteria.

Very poor customer service, the bartender was rude as well as the Hispanic gentleman who helped me. They both said “they were short staff” as that was an excuse to be rude. I have a business of my own, I’ve done big jobs by myself, that doesn’t give me permission to be rude. If I were management, I would have a team meeting on how to improve the morale of the company. I wouldn’t mind giving central coast brewery another chance but that was my first time there and probably my last time.
