Great Burgers and sweet potato fries! You can taste the difference in the beef selection and the type of bun. Greatness. Atmosphere: Some locations have great shaded porches for sitting outside. Bathrooms are clean which typically means the kitchen is kept clean as well. Window sills are typically clean as well, which is another indicator of a well managed restaurant.

A perfectly done RARE burger on a classic sesame seeded bun, with just the right amount of blue cheese. Hadn't had a burger this tasty and FRESH in Houston since I got here for a work project in December 2020. The 🍋 lemonade was superb as well. Well worth the $15 pricetag. I am a picky s.o.b. and I will be back.

The fries are always good but today they were spectacular. Tasted like they'd just come out of the fryer and perfectly seasoned. Potato yumminess and ate them as is...not catsup. Hamburgers there are super but when the fries are on point who needs a burger?

Beck's Prime Kirby knocks it out of the park!!! My Girlfriend and I have ordered from this location for years. I took our standard order and repeated it into the "box" as I remember doing a bunch of times. I forgot a specific ingredient for my GFs order. After getting home and realizing the missing ingredient was missing.... I felt it necessary to return to the location and state my case. While returning to the store I called Beck's, stated my case. As it turns out... the missing ingredient was an add on my GF has been doing the order was correct!!! Disappointed not in learning MY error... Disappointed the other food in my order was going to get cold. At that time, I was informed Beck's Prime was remaking my order fresh. It is extraordinary service to understand the customer. Clearly Kiby is extraordinary!

Who knew you could get a burger of this quality in a drive thru?!? I found this gem when I searched for "Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins" in the area. What a find! This was one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered the Blue Cheese burger and my husband ordered the bacon cheese burger with added mushrooms. And the ranch dressing on the side for the fries was the icing on the cake. This is the place to go!

I love this location. We order from here about once a week and never have issues. Salads are always fresh and well presented. Burgers are always cooked to perfection and never have to wait long for orders. Check them out!

This is the best burger in Houston. Burger joint would be the next best thing and they have more options. If you love a delicious classic burger with well-seasoned beef that isn't just 2cm thin. Beck's prime is your burger place. Just know the food is great but the grease can be messy!

Go inside. The drive through is a parking lot. But the service is excellent and take away is just as fast. Drive though is a trap. Once inside, enjoy friendly servers and delicious food. The burgers are excellent, but so is the Ahi Tuna. Worth a try.

Go for the BP BLT! The bacon is crispy and the Mayo is slathered on just perfectly. The tomatoes are sliced and placed, not just one thrown on the bun but the bun was covered and the lettuce was crispy. This was quite frankly the perfect BLT! And those Parmesan fries were yummy also. Not all of them were crunchy but they were all tasty. And one of the most wonderful points is that they serve Coke just like every self respecting establishment should. Not any of that Pepsi stuff from there. This is the BEST place to go for yummy sandwiches. And they have a terrific steak sandwich also. My husband had one of those that he loved but I’m a BLT kind of person so I have to sing it’s praises.

The burgers at Becks Prime have the absolute best flavor. This location is small with limited parking, but had great customer service. The only disappointment was I added grilled jalapenos to my burger and they weren't spicy at all. They were a beautiful green color, but tasted like bell peppers. That's not enough to be a deal breaker. Will definitely return.

Ordered the kids hickory cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. The portion size was just enough for me and the price a lot more reasonable than the adult size. For the adult price of a burger, it would have cost me $18 for that I could have gone to McCormick and Schmidts. Luckily the staff reminded me of the kids menu option. Best tasting burger I've had in awhile.

Becks is a wonderful high quality “fast food” restaurant. There are so many choices and they are all good. Salads, burgers, great fries, and amazing shakes! You can also get a steak with a baked potato. You can eat here every day and find something different. The patio is nice and you can eat there or get take out.

I’ve been eating Becks Prime since way back when there was one in the Houston Galleria by the ice rink (at least 25 years ago). They are still the best non fast food burger in not only Texas but the country (2nd would be Holstein’s in the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas). I will say not all Becks Prime locations are the same. This location (Kirby), the Sugar Land location, and the Woodlands are all top notch. Highly highly recommend this place.

Twice we came to this place and we were all extremely happy with the food : Hamburger cooked to perfection, whether it is medium rare or just medium. Not to mention the hotdogs. We are coming back at least once a month, if not more often. Totally worth it!

Ordered take out for the first time in years. Went through the drive through and it was a wonderfully fast experience. I ordered the ribeye baked potato which looks like it’s off the menu now but it was absolutely delicious! The grilled veggies needed more salt to be honest but it wasn’t bad. Excited to try more food options in the future!

Excellent food here, no doubt. I got the hamburger while visiting Houston. Over the decades, how many times did I pass up this place? Then a few weeks ago, I decided to stop and go inside. What an incredible menu of real food! But nothing's better than a good hamburger to me, so I ordered one. Wow! A REALLY good hamburger! There are many hamburger places, but they are like litter compared to this place. It was so good, last week I went back again, out of my way passing through Houston, to get another hamburger.

This is by far one of my favorite places for burgers and fries, especially their sweet potato fries! I usually get my order to go, so I haven't been inside since the recent renovations. I CAN say, however, that the drive-through situation is much better now that they have added the additional window. The parking lot congestion and flow is 100% improved. I will say that this place is quite pricey compared to others, but the quality of the food that you get is superior, especially for drive-through food. It's hard for me to pass by without stopping for lunch or dinner. I have a friend who lives nearby who knows that any time I come to her place, I will have stopped to pick up Becks Prime on the way. The food always smells wonderful and tastes even better. I have never been disappointed.

Bill's Burger...OMG! Thick beef patty cooked perfectly (pink in the middle). Sweet potatoe fries excellent side. The newly remodeled restaurant is comfortable and has a nice tree covered patio. A bit pricey, but worth it for an occasional burger splurge.

We went to the drive through, it was surprised pretty quick. Flavor was great, love the fresh cut potatoes. A little expensive, but worthy.

Our 1st time back since the remodel...burgers are smaller...and not done to order. And having been in the restaurant business for over 35 years, I would never allow my employees to sit in the dining area on their break talking loudly on the phone, especially in a coveted center spot on the banquette!

Delicious food! Ridiculous drive through :( Our family loves this place, it has been a haven during the pandemic for fantastic, high quality and nutritious food. We also love the milkshakes for avtreat every once in a while. I am taking off one star because of the following. Often times we call ahead because the drive through is so poorly managed. They make the food fresh, so it takes a while. However they do not ask that cars ahead of you pull through to take another order and help another customer. So if you call ahead you still have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for the drive through line to pick up your food that was ready long before. Not a good system. We are trying to avoid going inside places and this is not making it easy to do so. If this gets fixed it will be back to 5 stars in my opinion!

4.5 stars actually. Have visited every location in Houston and this place consistently has not just the best burger and crispy made to order fries but also fantastic service and every location has great ambiance with their huge oaks, it's a nice little respite from the concrete jungle of Houston. If there is a better burger in H-Town, ive yet to come across it.

Great burgers! But be sure to order yours to the doneness you want. They can be on the rare side. If that bothers you just tell them what you want and they will cook it to order. Burgers are big.

I've been to Beck's twice, once at this location and once in The Woodlands. It was a random Sunday evening, I was looking for a good burger joint. I ran across Beck's and fell head over heels. It wasn't busy at all, the staff was super friendly and explained everything on the menu. I went with Bill's burger, everything was fresh and well made. Their sweet potato fries were so good I had to stop myself from ordering a second serving! I highly recommend Beck's if you're craving a high quality burger.

I love this place for their burgers! Especially their steak burger!! It's a bit pricey considering it's a fast casual eatery, but what can you do, right? I really wish their fries matched up to their burgers though! I still don't know how their burgers are excellent but their fries are TERRIBLE!!! That's just my opinion. Service is good as well!!

The place is ok. They should remove the tree branches from the window. I like to see outside or see my car, just for safety. The burgers are tasty. We order the hickory burger. My son love it. Order a bacon cheese burger, it was pretty good only that the bacon was salty. Order fries with cheese, they were ok and I order a side of fruit and they were really good and sweet. Not sure if I'll be back again.

The wait was not too bad; 10 minutes. Would like the option of having a thinner burger; maybe I would have gotten exactly what I ordered. I ordered a WELL DONE Burger for $10.01 and I get lots of pink! Of course I probably should have opened my container and cut into the burger before I walked 4 miles back to my office, but I did not. :( Needless to say, I did not enjoy picking the pink/red out of my burger throughout my lunch.

This place was really really AMAZING! The inside decor brought me a sense of an old-time and upscale Argentine bar (although I haven't been to Argentina actually Lol!) The background Spanish music was gracious and fabulous. I ordered the mostly reviewed dishes on Yelp-the garlic chips, the chicken stuffed mushrooms, and the endive salads. The waiter (one of the brothers) was very informative. He introduced us special dishes of the day and let us know that the mushroom usually comes with two but they can make it three (since we have three persons), which was really considering. After I ordered all the dishes I turned to the wine list, which really confounded me since I never ordered wine before and that they have such a myriad of selections. The endive salad was really great-the bitter endive leafs tasted not bitter at all and was flavorful. The chips tasted different than most other counterparts-crispier and with really good garlic flavor! The rib-eye was the highlight-crispy outside and very juicy inside. When accompanied with the sauce, your taste bud will be truly satisfied. The smashed potato side was never like those you can find in another common steakhouse since they were conscientiously smashed-they melt in your mouth! Overall super service and food and very romantic ambience. If you don't order the wines prices can be reasonable for a place like this. (all their plates are large!) Next time I will definitely try the NZ lamb which is their signature dish as they told me.

The burger had great flavor, but it was way too pink for me. We went through the drive thru and they didn't ask how we wanted it cooked. We shouldn't have assumed it would be cooked more than it was without asking. This was our first time here since we're just visiting from out of state.

Excellent food, I usually get their Robert's chicken and vegetables grilled veg is great, chicken is perfectly cooked. They have amazing burgers, too. They are not cheap, 2 people for lunch will cost you $50 but it is great properly cooked food and I am never disappointed. They are consistent across the 2 locations I eat at. The one on Kirby near my mom's house and the one by my work on August are both great! Food is exactly the same.

A nice cozy location. I was sad they took the cheese fries off the menu but they made them for me anyway. The fajitas needed a bit more seasoning but were still good and the ladies restroom was clean. The parking is tough though because it's narrow and you have to walk through the drive through to get to the front door.

Always been a fan of Becks since I was little, but one thing I noticed when I came by the other day is what kind of chips they use for their chips and queso. It’s just very bad. I hope they consider a new chip supplier cause their queso and salsa deserves better

Burgers were good and had the old fashioned and slightly charred taste to them people crave. Wide variety of toppings. Onion rings are good too. The drive through and patio aren’t ideal as it’s close to Kirby which is noisy and backs up into street.

Burger was a little overcooked for medium, but the toppings and patty were fresh and well portioned. Definitely get a milkshake when you stop in! Very cozy Becks Prime. Unfortunately, my burger wasn't as juicy (shroom burger) as the same one I got from Becks Prime in Meyerland Plaza but it wasn't inedible by any means. It was kind of - bland - for lack of a better word. That being said, the staff was nice and welcoming.

I love the kirby chicken salad. So good and flavorful. The seasoned pecans and cranberries add a nice touch. The raspberry vinaigrette is very is great.

Gourmet burger almost at the speed of fast food. Burger was good, but the fries were a bit soggy. Not sure if the burger + fries + soda + tip at $26 is worth a revisit.

I was excited to eat here after the reviews, but was overwhelmed by the prices and slow service. They offer a going green touch by not equipping your visit with napkins or utensils, but they can be requested. The food was oversized and very greasy, which was delicious, just not worth the 50+dollars for 2 meals and try to drive away and eat.

Some people complimented the ahi tuna sandwich here. Tried it today, it’s either not as good as before or it’s overrated

I don’t normally write reviews to complain, and that’s not my goal here. Instead, I hope that the management reads this so they can implement better QC. Tonight, I ordered the Mediterranean salad which I’ve ordered several times before, and it’s always been satisfying, so I’m giving 3 stars to reflect my past experiences here. Unfortunately, tonight, the spring mix of the salad was bad/spoiled. It was soggy, wilted, and tasted like dirt, so I tossed out the entire salad. Extremely disappointing but what’s more disappointing is the lack of transparency up front. If you don’t have fresh materials to prepare a meal, just let the customer know. Don’t serve them spoiled food. I wouldn’t be upset if they just cancelled my order, but I am upset that I was served spoiled, old food.

Expensive for a warmed up burger and fries. The sweet potatoes fries were hot and awesome. As good as smash burger. The meat on the burger wasn't hot... It was just warm and it wasn't even fast. Not worth $15, that's for sure. Had they actually cooked it hot I'd recommend this place.

I used to frequent Beck's Prime but once I realized that I could get the same great burger for the same price with beer and a waiter, I stopped going. The burgers are great, if you are on the run it's a far better choice than any fast food chain and it's real meat. That's always a plus. The Fries are tasty and the Malts and shakes are good. The Kirby location is a little smaller than the others I have been to and honestly when I pass it appears to be on its last leg. With all of the new construction and other eateries that have popped up in the area it won't be long before those doors close making way for something a little more typical of the area..

I didn't see what the fuss was about; it was an average burger at best. While there are several toppings that you can decorate your burger with, the patty itself was lean and juicy, but very bland and lackluster. I thought it was highly overpriced and overrated for what I experienced. I would recommend several burgers in the Houston area over Becks Prime.

While baked potatoes aren’t really to my taste, I did notice that the meat in some dishes seemed pre-made. However, I have to say that their burgers are absolutely fantastic—definitely the highlight of my meal! The freshly cut fries are also a great addition and are truly delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back for those.

Food quality is very good but you pay for it! Our simple lunch for 2 was almost $40 which is a lot for a hamburger, fries a salad entree and 2 drinks! Where they lost points on this review was the sticky yucky tables inside the dining area. It was just after 1:30 the lunch crowd was pretty much gone and they really needed to give all the tables a good wiping down with a soapy towel, very unappealing to have your arms stick to the table while you eat.

If you prefer your French fries, soft and limp, this place might be for you. Great burger, though! It's disappointing to see so many staff members just standing around doing nothing most of the time and letting the bathrooms get so unsanitary. I wanted to throw away my shoes before getting into my car with them.

While the staff were very polite, the food was not worth the price. It cost me $26 for a burger, a regular sized shake, and side of fries. I have no problem spending that type of money at Five Guys because the burger there is actually good, but it just ain't worth it at this place.

The drive-thru was super quick and the customer service was great, but the food was extremely expensive — $16 for a burger with no fries. We got two burgers and a side of fries, and the fries were really mediocre, especially for the price. The burgers came out pretty pink even though we asked for medium-well, and the flavor just wasn’t good. The meat tasted almost boiled. Maybe it’s just my preference since other reviews seem positive, but I hadn’t eaten all day and still couldn’t finish even one-thirds of the burger. Honestly felt like a sad waste of money.

My bacon cheeseburger was 95% pepper 5% beef. After sitting at the table with my fiance (who had her food within 10 minutes) for 20 minutes I went to the counter to ask about my order. Turns out they had given me the incorrect pager and instead of looking for me had just left the burger and fries on the counter. When I walked up the manager handed me the food without saying anything. Oh and the burger was wrong. I asked for it dry with no pickles, however the uninterested cashier simply put plain. Got a burger with cheese and bacon and nothing else. I took it back up and without apologizing she took the plate and yelled back at the kitchen to put lettuce, tomato, and onion on it. Then handed it back silently. After all of this I sat down to eat my burger 25 minutes after ordering it and it was heavily seasoned with pepper (as stated in my first sentence). I ate less than half my meal and for $15 I would classify this as nearly highway robbery. You would be better off with Whataburger for half the price, and there is a whole host of other burger joints with better service and products.

This used to be my go to spot before the pandemic. I’ve gone there a handful of times after, and this place is disgusting. The last draw for me was when I picked up a burger that tasted like it was microwaved. The host named Dylan did not even put the proper ingredients and gave me a bun with lettuce and meat. What a shame, because their burgers and customer service used to be top tier. Now it’s overpriced trash.

Unfortunately my mom (85 YO) and I decided to stop here on a Saturday evening after a movie. I had never been and thought it would be a treat for my mom. We chose drive through and ordered the basic burger and fries. A bit disappointed that a tip was asked for on their scanner (it's a drive through purchase) but guess that's what it is these days - yeah you can skip the tip, but I'm always leary of doing that when they're still cooking your order and handling your food. Anyways, we both wound up with food poisoning (I'm still suffering a week later) my mom is better..... Not sure if it was due to the meat or produce. I will not be back again.

The food was good..It used to be better especially the fries. This time was extremely oily it looks like it has been a while they didn't change their oil container. The cashier was extremely rude. There is no sign that states you cannot pickup a straw and whenever I picked up a straw he furiously yelled at me! I left the straw and I was going out but he rudely told me, take it, you already touched it! What a customer service!!!! Do some training for your employees before they interact with customers!

The Cobb salad was nasty. I’ve had a better salad at whataburger. The steak was chewy and nasty. Everything was nasty. ILL. They don’t have worry about me going back over there no more. Nastiest food ever.

Food Poisioned I ordered the hotdog and a jamoke shake. 5 hours later I was extremely sick with food poisoning. Ended up in the hospital for four days. Extreme bacteria. I told the doctors what I had had that day and they definitely pointed at the hotdog at Beck prime. I do not eat here often any longer because the steak sandwiches they serve now are typically very griissly and fatty with little meat. (Use to love them but food quality has gone down…. I wan to start this by saying the staff were so kind and friendly, and the place was very clean and a great environment. The food was a let down though we paid about $50 and I don't know if it was a bad day but both burgers had absolutely no flavor and left a metallic taste in our mouth, and the kids cheese melt seemed really thrown together just a bun and piece of cheese melted inside, was really let down with the food.

We order this 2 hours ago and our burgers were raw. I fed these to my kids and myself before we found out something was not right. First time ordering from this store and I am so disgusted. If we get sick, I will sue!

Once I receive my Bacon Cheese Burger, order, I open the paper case, to find my hamburger lecture and pickles, wet wet, and droping with water, I call the manger, and ask for a refund, after sharing my issue. The manager call me a lie, said she was watching the employee make the burger, and deny my refund. $16.78. I ask her several times to give me her manager name she refused. The manager is a reflection of her employees. I am never return to Becks Prime.

Food is not worth the price at all but the main reason for the review is the staff and service. Attitude the entire time, no eye contact, annoyed the entire time. Stay away for this place it’s an absolute ripoff!! They charged me $30 for a half cooked tasteless burger and French fry. They claimed it was smoked but it taste more like a boiled hamburger. Not to mention thier hot dogs are not real beef and taste like a boloney dog. Never again!!

I ordered online and when I arrived the drive thru was not only a weird layout, but the girl acted all upset and bothered that I didn’t automatically know this restaurant’s operations. She had a huge attitude with me just for being confused. I honestly didn’t say anything cause I just wanted to eat. I ordered a veggie burger and sweet potato fries. The fries are okay I guess, I mean they’re fries. I’ve had better and these are not worth $6, a small amount too! I opened my burger to see almost no sauce (I asked for mayo) there was MAYBE a teaspoon in the middle. I luckily have mayo but then I bit in and it was so gross. Mushy, tangy, and orange. It was nasty. I threw it away promptly. Definitely not coming back.

I just spent $30 on a meal there and specifically asked for no mustard. When I was in the drive through I should have figured the girl with no eye brows was confused because she said all I heard was coke! My burger order was first though. when I got to the window she was on her phone. I will never eat there again
