Ladybirds is a clean, friendly, and fun neighborhood locale that always has something entertaining going on. Taylor is great at helping us plan and host events for our HOA group and personal parties. Great food and good drink deals. Thanks for everything Ladybirds!

Love this spot to be able to choose from a ton of different beers, plenty of seating, and a relaxed environment. Only thing to note is if you sit outside, just prepare yourself for the very loud very long train.

Amazing place to meet up with friends and have a drink. They also have DELICIOUS food! They have a food truck, which means super authentic made from scratch tasty food. Definitely recommend.

Great outdoor/indoor bar and it is a pokestop. There is a pool table, large connect four, arcade games including mortal combat, and foosball. You can also order food from the food truck.

The burger I ate was phenomenal. Service was A1 ,we were accommodated, even after showing up close to closing time . Of course, with it being close to the end of the game( go Stros), there were not many other patrons there.

Good atmosphere to watch some college football games. South Carolina Gamecocks are prominent here. Parking can be a hassle if it’s busy.

We were there for trivia and it was a great time. They have 3 rounds, 6 questions each, broken into 2 sets of 3. The questions get harder as trivia continues and you also have to assign the number of points to an answer you give. It was a fun game!

They have a special on Monday nights for $0.75 wings & they were awesome (and gluten free). We got a few drinks which were all great and the vibes were awesome. I'll definitely be going back.

The host of trivia told an annoying person to go stand on the train tracks and I don't know that I've ever laughed harder in my life.

You ever wanted a real crafted drink but felt like a dive bar vibe. This is the place. I felt like I was at home but drank as if I were at the most richest bar you could think of. All the bartenders have the best attitude and they're great. GO.

My friends and I love the atmosphere and the pool table at Ladybirds! It’s a great bar and they serve food as well which is always a plus. To top it off, the bartenders and staff are superb and they always make sure we have a good time.

A very friendly and laid-back place to spend time in. The big plus for dog lovers is that you can bring your favorite companion into the bar. There is a wide variety of beers on tap, as well as bottled ones. The menu is simple, and if you like fried food in a basket, then this is the place.

Stumbled across this place after looking for a university of South Carolina bar for my partner who was visiting from out of town. We had a great time. Great atmosphere, lots of tv screens and good affordable drinks

I love this bar. We try and go every Wednesday to the best INDEPENDENT TRIVIA NIGHT IN HOUSTON. The trivia was our original draw but we keep going back for the tasty tacos, tenders, and old fashioned cocktails. Also the bar tenders are amazing. This is my go to neighborhood bar.

I really appreciate the outdoor space and the fact that the music is never too loud. It can get a bit too much during sport events, but that says more about people than it does about the bar

visited here a few times but recently discovered they do charity bingo on tuesdays, if you win you get to pick which organization the bar donates to! (free to play) & you get prizes like bar swag or a free steak night!! i didn’t catch his name but the guy bartender behind the bar was so funny n nice,food is your typical bar bites quesadillas,burgers, stuff like that. they do have a parking lot but not many spots but there’s street parking off to the side. overall a cute adorable lil neighborhood bar with a chill vibe

the best neighborhood hang! great selection and drink menu and live music that doesn't make you feel sorry for the performer. always a great time. dog friendly too, unfortunately my dog didn't like hanging in public as much as I wanted her to. but that's not a reflection on the bar as much as it is how lame my dog is.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time. The bartender immediately made us feel welcome! Their cocktails are mixed very well, and the atmosphere was just our speed. It can get crazy, but the locals all keep it very friendly. We'll definitely be back. Dog friendly!

This place is definitely chill. The bartenders are cool, the wings are delicious (the hot and hot garlic parm are the best!), the drinks are good, and quite a few of TVs playing sports. There's a pool table too and outside seating. Highly recommend!

Ladybirds is a hidden neighborhood gem where you can sip on a delicious cocktail or one of their many curated draft beers while you hang out with some friends or watch the game. You'll find them well equipped with plenty of TVs and even a large projector, always showing whatever sporting event piques your interest. I've been attending their Wednesday Ladybirds Trivia Night for about a decade now and must say the independent trivia duo of Jon Conner and Heather Ringman blow those cookie cutter Geeks Who Drink quiz shows out of the water. 14/10 would recommend Ladybirds to anyone, 15/10 for Wednesday night trivia.

I was invited to this place by my grieve Nick who currently works there. The place is my type of vibe..extremely cute! There's indoor & outdoor seating. Indoor is very classic with a jukebox, fooz ball table, pool table, & AND arcade video games which includes Ms Pac Man, ping pong machine, & my personal favorite Street Fighter!! The outdoor has a view of a railroad with active trains. The food was 10/10!! And service was great thanks to Mark! I highly recommend going

You get to know a lot of the bartenders and realize that they all have their own charm. They just redid the felt on the pool table! I got the quesadilla and added beef fajita and it was very good. They had quite a few TVs and a pool table with a couple other games. Definitely a cool spot and all of us were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was.

Hidden Gem! Great food. The staff is fun and personable. The cocktails are unique and creative. Lots of ingredients are made in house (ask to taste the ginger beer). The drunk names are funny too!

There during bar olympics. The host was so loud we ended up leaving, but seems to be a nice play and free parking which seems to be rare in this area.

It’s a very casual bar/restaurant. The menu is typical bar food but we enjoyed it. The bar staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely night here but must go 4 outta 5 stars due to the lack of truck. Band was great and all the Houston games were on. Don't try the grapefruit beer on tap and you'll have a good time. Highly recommend.

Came here for the game. It was a good chill bar. Beer selection was ok. Didn't try food. Great patio and seating inside was comfortable\spacious.

I went for trivia night which was a lot of fun. The atmosphere seemed great and the food from the food truck was good. The only downside was that several cars that were parked right by the railroad tracks for broken into while I was there.

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and love this place. Great beers on draft, fun atmosphere, super friendly bartenders that can mix a great drink. A really unique spot, please give them your business if you're looking for a local place to support. Edit: they don’t have happy hour right now. Prices a little steep.

Pretty good bar (and it's where the Houston Gamecock Club goes for games, so as a UofSC alum I love that!) with solid food and decent beer. The atmosphere and service are very good, and the beers are good but nothing too great.

Perfect little neighborhood "hole in the wall". Indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of tvs to watch any sports that are on. Good local beer tap selection and full bar. Weekly happy hour specials and food. Pool table, foosball, and few arcade games.

I had never really noticed this charming place until a friend brought it to my attention, even though I had been driving by for years. It’s a cozy stand-alone building right next to the train tracks, offering ample indoor and outdoor seating. This spot is perfect for catching a game, and I love how it comes alive on certain game nights, filled with laughter and excitement. They have a wonderful selection of alcoholic beverages, and I appreciate that they also host open mic nights, giving locals a chance to share their talents. It's really a welcoming place that brings people together. The only down side is the parking can be challenging.

A comfortable, laidback neighborhood bar with great crawfish. I went to Ladybirds to attend an afternoon party of Kansas alumni to celebrate our school’s victory in the NCAA tournament. We met on the patio — a perfect venue for the event — on a Saturday afternoon. My wife and I ordered three pounds of crawfish and enjoyed them. The seasoning was perfect and service was fast. I was given three tickets — one for each pound — so when we finished one batch, we could go back for another. The service was friendly, and the bartenders were quick to offer me a taste of the various beers. I would definitely go back to Ladybirds.

That bar you go to in jeans and a shirt. Good service, plenty of seating, pool table if that's your thing. Nothing special but nothing wrong either, it's someone's "neighborhood bar" for sure.

The bartender was kinda rude to us when we told her our drink orders. Closed the tab in order to leave as soon as we were done. That kind of set the vibe for the place, not interested in returning, shame since it showed a lot of promise.

Usually very pro ladybirds, even if it’s a little overpriced food wise. But trivia ruined our evening out. Honestly sitting inside on trivia night was so acoustically painfully we had to leave. I ate my food in the car… weird for such a chill otherwise bar to be so loud. Bar staff apologized to my party when we closed out and confirmed it’s better on nights that aren’t Wednesday. I feel mostly upset that the host (Jon Conner based on these reviews) was very rude about a normal request to keep our eardrums to only a minor damage level. There was a kid inside! He was curt instead of friendly or explaining why it’s so loud and turned the volume down an unhelpful one tap to my friends face and then turned it up after. Screaming into the mic during announcements, telling a guy to unalive himself…. Yikes. His lady co-host I have nothing bad to say about. She agreed to help turn it down before Jon was around, but admittedly did not know how to operate the equipment. Outdoor volume was great, but if you’ve been doing this the 450 times claimed, they must have severe hearing damage if they’re sitting inside weekly for nine years. Hope they get their equipment issues resolved and learn some conflict management skills. We’re all here for a good time! Help me have it.

The lady at the front counter was very rude. She charged everyone at the table for a single $4 taco since they must serve food with beer due to COVID, which is fine, but she did not make this known to anyone before buying beer. In addition, the bar never gave anyone their tacos or had any intention to. When we found out we had gotten charged for tacos we had to ask why we got charged for tacos and where our tacos were since we paid for them. With these seemingly reasonable questions she got very angry with us, cussing at us underneath her breath when she thought we couldn’t hear her. With aggressive negotiation she agreed to give us the tacos we had paid for. Upon arrival the tacos were terrible and the majority of the table decided not to eat them out of fear of the lady spitting in them.

We came to Houston to celebrate a birthday. We entered the bar, several employees were speaking together, no one acknowledged or greeted us. We sat at a table, no one said anything to us. I have never felt more unwelcome in an establishment. I read all the great reviews and expected a different reception so disappointed.

As soon as you walk in you are slapped in the face by the smell of the restrooms. The bartender was nice but touched the tip of our straws with his hand.

Had a very poor experience here. With the bar being fairly quiet for a Saturday night, I waited 15 minutes for a beer while the bartender took shots with her friends and didn’t acknowledge me. Then when I tried to explain to the general manager the issues I was talked down too and felt extremely uncomfortable with the interactions. We went to a busier bar after and the service was more polite and much quicker.

The female with the colored hair today must be overwhelmed. She stated that she was the only one working while telling the other worker behind the counter with the (WWE fiend shirt on) to act like he doesn’t speak English if someone ask him something. We were skipped and left as you can see on the camera on January 11, 2025. Around 4:15pm ish. First time here and won’t come back here .

Made the mistake of going to Ladybirds on a Wednesday evening to attempt to watch the Stars game. Unfortunately, the man running trivia was so obnoxious and loud that we had to leave as soon as our food was delivered. We kindly asked him to turn the music (screechy, grunge, punk music) down on 2 separate occasions and he sneered at us and then pointedly turned the music back up. He then proceeded to scream into the microphone on a 5+ minute monologue about the complexities of a simple trivia game. 14/10 would not recommend Ladybirds on a Wednesday night, at least not until they find a new trivia host.

I recently visited Ladybirds after living nearby for a while and decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the level of service was not the same for everyone. It seemed as though you need to be a regular or someone of non-color to receive adequate attention. Despite it being my first visit, I felt unwelcome and overlooked. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and I couldn’t help but notice the lack of diversity among both the staff and the patrons. It’s disheartening to say, but this experience felt discriminatory and dismissive. I had high hopes for this visit, but I left completely unsatisfied and disappointed. If you value your time and are looking for a place that treats all customers with respect and equality, I would advise you to look elsewhere. Sadly, this was a total waste of time, and I won’t be returning.
