I have been eating these breakfast tacos for more than 20 years, since their days on Bellaire Blvd. My three grown children stop here every time they come back to Houston. And for those who say the tortillas aren't homemade...I just watched about 100 being made this morning while I waited for my order. The green sauce is the best. During Fridays in Lent, I get the bean and cheese. My favorite is the potato and bacon. The way they cook bacon is second to none. When we do "Taco Tuesdays" at work, or delivering to clients, I usually get 2-3 dozen. Nobody ever complains!
The food was great! They are super busy and take lots of phone-in orders. When I go back, I'll call my order and ahead of time. It was a little bit long to wait inside. But the ladies working in there where moving fast and working hard.
Best place in that area for breakfast tacos. The food is fresh, delicious and the tortillas are made to order. Be prepared for a wait because it is made fresh to order but it's well worth it.
Tasty tacos and salsa, and most definitely worth a visit if you’re trying out taco places. Tacos come out fresh and hot, made to order. Seriously, it doesn’t look appealing from the street, but don’t judge a book by its cover!
Friendly atmosphere and social distancing and mask protocols in place. Bacon and egg taco was loaded with lots of bacon. Barbacoa was seasoned to perfection. Chorizo and bean tacos were worth it! Outside seating is available. Menudo on weekends only!
This is a go to place for my coworkers and I for delicious, inexpensive tacos. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The breakfast tacos are on point. The carne guisada reminds me of my grandmother's. It's *almost* as good of course, but a close second.
Best breakfast tacos I've ever had, and quality is always top-tier, not hit and miss like some places. We eat from here at least once a month
Great tasty tacos! The tortillas are thick and homemade. They do not chinch on the fillings! We did not mind waiting a few extra minutes for this wonderful treat. We will be back next weekend!
I was around the neighborhood looking for somewhere to eat, and saw this place. At first we only ordered 1 taco just to hold us up until we got home and it was so good!! That we had to order 5 more of them! Definitely recommend this place.
You would never guess a place like this to have such good tacos. Breakfast tacos in the morning and beef, chicken and barbacoa for lunch. All very good. Not exactly fast food but not that long a wait either. You can eat there or order them to go. The tortillas are homemade and they are probably the best part of the taco. They close mid-afternoon.
This is the spot for breakfast tacos! We have never been let down at sunrise, and they seem to make their salsa I house! Plenty of outdoor seating to take in the morning. Definitely give this place a try.
I agree, best tacos and the sauces are to DIE for. agreed that the sides are wwaayy over priced! But they probably start at 4am and value their time for sure. I have found that they are stingy with their sauces when you take tacos to go. the containers are too small and the sauces always leak in the little ziploc they place them in. The ladies are efficient and they get the order right every time but I don't always find them overly friendly. I am sometimes too friendly. been going for 10 years, as soon as we discovered Sunrise. ;)
This is far and away the best breakfast taqueria in all of Houston. The menu includes other options besides breakfast tacos, but for three years my wife and I have never tried anything else - quality ingredients and good people. Fresh tortillas and the best green salsa you can find.
Mmmmmmmmmm so good. Made to order breakfast tacos. The name fits this place well, from the good morning to calling me by my name multiple times, such a welcoming place. I came right when they opened this morning, what a great way to start the day.
Love coming to this place after running at memorial park. The breakfast tacos are great and remind me of homemade tacos from moms house 🫶
Extremely good soft tacos here! That egg bacon avocado! The wait once you've ordered can be a while though, especially on Sundays after church and before that Texans game. There are nice motherly ladies who work there who are always happy to see my wife and I when we stop by for tacos.
These are the best breakfast tacos I have ever had in my entire life! Now that is saying something as I was born and raised in the city of San Antonio, Texas. This hidden gem is located in a very affluent area of Houston, the memorial park/river oaks area. I was stunned and shocked to find this wonderful little Mexican taco breakfast place. The few times that I have been there I have seen 3 to 4 older Hispanic women working away, slicing and dicing fresh ingredients and making fresh homemade tortillas. So it was very obvious that the tacos were going to taste very fresh and delicious. I personally had the potato and egg, bean and cheese, Barbacoa, and bacon and egg tacos, and they were phenomenal. The tacos were not too greasy and not too salty. They were a perfect combination of flavor and freshness. The homemade salsa is available and mild and hot and both add the perfect flavor to any of the tacos they sell. I can’t emphasize enough how these are homemade to order using very fresh high-quality ingredients. you would not know it because this is attached to a gas station and well normally gas station food is not very good but this is definitely delicious and outstanding. It is also important to note that the coffee is very good not too strong and not too weak. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area or for any reason, these are well worth it.
Very impressed. Love the atmosphere, sat outdoors in a cool morning breeze. Not a lot of inside seating but Breakfast Tacos were excellent. Highly recommend to anyone as this type of place is the heart and soul of Houston cooking!
Best breakfast tacos in the area. Family run, great spot.
Popped in for tacos and was pleasantly satisfied! The tortillas were made fresh and each taco tasted delicious. Will definitely be back for more now that I’m closer!
Awesome Mexican food truly worth a visit orders can take up to 15 minutes on busy days but it’s totally worth the wait!!
Love this place! I have been going to this location for years and I take advantage when I'm in the area to order my food there.
Come in to grab and go on a rainy day These Dames are so pleasant and sweet. In a town where you have so many choices , customer service is key. They are always on point. Don't come here in a rush expecting it in 2 seconds. Be patient, let the magic of the placha happen and enjoy a simple but really good breakfast taco. Get the lengua when they have it🤘🏽 After further review Tortillas were not that great, salsa was so so and they potatoes had no seasoning , I will for sure be back , but it was just ..ok
To the poster that said the tortillas are not homemade, I wonder if you have ever actually been here. The kitchen is open and you can clearly see how your food is made. If you are in a rush and expect your food drive through speed, please go somewhere else. These breakfast tacos are the best in town, and they are served piping hot. The food is made fresh, and as such takes some time. There is a reason this place has a loyal following of regulars.
Delicious breakfast tacos made to order! The staff is so nice and they remember your name. My go to spot for breakfast tacos!!
I love the breakfast tacos. They are some of the best in town but because the tacos are made to order it will take while to get them. I usually call 20 minutes ahead and pick them up on my way to work. Bottom line: If you are expecting your tacos right away like a drive thru then this is not your place. Now if you do not mind waiting for fresh quality tacos then go right in. If you are smart just call ahead.
Don't let the location deter you. The breakfast burritos are as amazing as can be. This was just like your mom made you breakfast. Truly outstanding food, price, and service! A++++
My only complaint is that this place is far too close to my office. Great breakfast tacos and egg plates.. I could probably eat here everyday. Fast, fair-priced, and the ladies are really sweet. Even the sauces in the bottles are good. If you're too snobby to check it out because it adjoins a gas station, then go pay $25 for brunch elsewhere; more tasty eggs for me.
This small, unassuming taqueria on the side of a local Shell station makes arguably the best tacos in Houston. Tortillas are light and fresh; tacos are not heavy or greasy. The migas tacos are amazing with plenty of fresh vegetables, mixed with the eggs. And the chorizo, for some reason is amazingly good compared to others.
Not gonna lie, I was a bit apprehensive about going to a taco place connected to a gas station, but boy was I an idiot. The food here is fresh, delicious and well priced and the people who work here are friendly and helpful. Sunrise taquitos has become a welcome addition to my weekend routine. I would recommend this place to anyone, because if you don't like the food here the problem is with you, not them!
Love the breakfast tacos. They are made to order so it takes them a little bit. I suggest calling ahead and placing your order over the phone. They do have other items other than tacos and they are also delicious.
Love this place. The tortillas are the best I've ever had, and always warm and fresh. Take a pack home with you! My favorite tacos are the barbacoa and the chorizo and egg. Unfortunately, they no longer carry lengua.
The food is great here. Everything seems to be made fresh from scratch. You get really good portions for the cost. It would be nice if they set up their indoor dining again but they have a couple of tables outside.
As a Houston native, I’m super picky when it comes to breakfast tacos. That said, Sunrise is easily one of the best spots in Houston and holds its own overall. The prices are pretty average for tacos, but what sets this place apart is the quality and those fresh, handmade tortillas. Staff is always kind. They really make the difference! If you’re in Houston and looking for a great breakfast taco spot, I definitely recommend giving Sunrise a try. They serve breakfast up until 2pm. Their green salsa is delicious!!
As a San Antonio native - I’m really harsh on other Texas city breakfast tacos. However sunrise is one of the best in Houston and really good overall. Prices are average for the tacos but the quality and fresh tortillas they use is what makes this place great. Definitely recommend.
I recently discovered this place when I moved down the street a few months ago. It’s right next to the shell station off memorial drive. The tacos are always fresh, hot and made consistently! Gloria (the owner) is extremely polite, and a joy to talk to. Highly recommend giving them a try! I come here every week!
Great tacos! Great price! Super friendly staff :)
HOME COOKED FOOD AT ITS BEST!! the food is amazingly delicious, just like my moms and grandmas. I cant say enough about these wonderful ladies. The anatomy of a good taco begins with a tortilla, this place makes and serves fresh homemade flour tortillas!! Hot n Fresh Tortillas with some beans and their salsa verde!! HEAVEN!!! I VOTE SUNRISE TAQUITOS MOST AUTHENTIC IN HOUSTON!!
This place is feels like home in a harsh concrete jungle. This is the first restarting I visited after moving here in January and have been a regular ever since. The tortillas are made fresh to order and are supremely fluffy. And it’s a family business. What more could you ask for
Great spot to pick up breakfast tacos in the morning. I often stop while the ladies are still preparing for the day and they use quality ingredients and make everything by hand. Yes, it's in a gas station but you will not at all be disappointed.
Delicious food, just like homemade, fresh made tortillas. I recommend the barbacoa and beef fajitas and on the weekend they have menudo and tamales. Great customer service, I recommend to place your order online.
Best breakfast tacos I've ever had. Fresh ingredients made right in front of you. Nowhere else comes close. Authentic real breakfast tacos made from scratch. And the lady is always so nice.
This is a hidden gem, being next to a shell station, but go inside, and the people you will see and the food you will smell will amaze you. They make everything in house, tortillas included. The owner, don’t even get me started: Gloria is the sweetest person I know. I see her every Sunday to catch up on the week and get my breakfast tacos. They care about the food. They care about the people they serve. I can’t thank all of them enough for being who they are. I look forward to it every week.
Best breakfast tacos in Houston! I love this place so much and Gloria is the sweetest. I’m always coming here! 🌮❤️
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, this is my favorite place for really great breakfast tacos! You can see them making the tortillas fresh to order and the ladies are so wonderful and kind! You are truly missing out if you haven’t been.
Sunrise Taquitos Mexican Grill is an absolute win for anyone craving authentic Mexican food. I can’t lie—the flavors here are incredibly close to what you’d find in Mexico. It’s a rare find, especially in this area, and it’s clear they take pride in delivering high-quality, traditional recipes. The tacos? Top-tier. Perfectly seasoned, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that really make each bite memorable. Whether you’re a taco enthusiast or just looking for a satisfying meal, you won’t be disappointed. And the salsas? Fire. Both the salsa roja and verde are must-tries—each one packs a punch with bold, authentic flavors that elevate the tacos even further. What really surprised me was the pricing. For the area, it’s shockingly affordable without sacrificing quality. It’s refreshing to find a spot that delivers this level of flavor and authenticity at such a reasonable price. If you’re on the hunt for authentic Mexican tacos that won’t break the bank, Sunrise Taquitos Mexican Grill is the place to go. Highly recommend stopping by and trying it for yourself. This spot is proof that you don’t have to travel far for a taste of Mexico!
Small breakfast and lunch spot attached to the Shell station. Incredibly fresh, made-to-order, tacos while you wait. Amazing flour tortillas. This place might take a little longer but it's so worth the wait. The owners and workers are very nice and accommodating. Closes at 2pm. Breakfast served all day.
Delish, homemade breakfast tacos! Flour tortillas are made from scratch. Eggs are cooked to order. All the ingredients are fresh. Got potato bacon & egg, migas & Barbacoa tacos. Love the mild red salsa. Have to wait a bit for your food but that’s because they make it after you order it (no steam tables). Will definitely return.
Great neighborhood breakfast spot connected to the gas station. Yes, the gas station. Here's the deal... if you're looking for fine dining or you're a super picky eater... this isn't the place for you. That said, if ya like homemade tortilla, a straight forward menu, and awesome food as if it were made in grandma's kitchen, this is the place. The homemade tortillas are great and love getting the chorizo and egg or the huevos a la mexicana plate.
Tastes like an average Mexican taco place, good! But not worth a 30+ min wait for 4 tacos.. I get that the tortillas are hand made but it should not take that long with 3 people in the kitchen.
It is a small place with limited parking. Most of their food lacks salt and pepper, which is not big deal since you can add it on. Their combination plate was average on flavor, I would have like more meat on them. Their Carne guisada isn't the greatest, but it did remind me of my moms cooking which is a plus.
Edit 9/2018 Food is consistently hot and delicious. I just wish they offered fresh lemonade or cantaloupe water 😢 I'll be stopping in regularly. It's good! Original: Food was HOT!! Thanks! Piccadillo was decent and the guisado was better than average. It didn't blow my hair back but it's worth another visit if not a few. the building is a little older so it's not picture perfect but the food was good 👌
In my top 5 list of breakfast tacos in Houston. They are really good. I recommend you to order ahead because they are usually busy and since they make their tortillas, it takes some time but it's totally worth it.
Great way to start your day! Just call ahead. They are usually busy and it cuts down on time to get to work. Side items are over priced, but the breakfast tacos are awesome! I don't trust most places connected to a gas station, but the food is delicious!
A frequent stop on those occasions when I'm headed into town in the early morning. Everything is freshly made in the tiny open kitchen, including the awesome handmade tortillas. Picadillo has always been one of my favorite tacos, especially for breakfast, and their Picadillo reminds me of what I grew up eating. My only reservations about this place are that the service is not overly quick (5-10 minute after ordering average in my experience), the shop is small, and it gets crowded quickly when thy are busy. Personally, I think the quality of the food is worth the wait.
Good breakfast tacos, tortillas were fluffy and perfect. Good amount of egg and meat in the tacos as well. However, the wait was long (25 minutes for 4 customers in front of me) and their hot sauce didn’t bring any heat. Pictured from left to right are bacon and egg, potato and egg, pork sausage and egg.
This is one of my favorite places for breakfast tacos. Each one is made to order - so there is some wait time. I’ve been able to be in and out in under 10 minutes with an average of 2-3 people ahead of me. The tortillas are homemade and light and fluffy. The portions are generous for both the eggs and the meats. For $2.89, you can’t get a better taco. For $0.80 more per topping, you can add customize it however you want.
The breakfast tacos are usually very tasty but don't expect it to be fast food, order and out kinda place. Last time I ordered 9 tacos to go and it took more than 25 minutes to get them. The prices have gone up considerably and the size of the tacos have stayed the same. Update: I give up on this place! That tacos are okay but not worthy of a 30 minutes wait. You don't wait that long even in a sit down restaurant.
The food is great. The food is five stars. The wait time needs to be corrected. I've been coming here once a month for years. Love her tacos and migas. But as others have stated, there are deficiencies in the assembly. Order was placed today at 8:22. My 3 tacos of eggs, beans, cheese and potatoes were given to me at 8:51. 29 minutes for 3 tacos on flour. I realize orders come in and the cooks get busy, but alert your customers that it's going to take awhile. My suggestion would be to prioritize the customers that come in vs phone in orders. But my biggest complaint, if you take 29 minutes to build 3 tacos, at least make sure you give 1 salsa per taco. I wasn't so lucky. And in times when I've asked for "extra" salsa, I've been told they are expensive. I understand costs, but figure out your costs so I can pay more for additional request. I'm happy to be charged for additional costs, but don't tell you can't do it because you don't have that line item in your system. Enjoy her great food, but don't be in hurry.
Food was not the best but can’t expect too much from a gas station restaurant. I ordered cheese on my tacos and they only had cheddar. I might be bias being Hispanic with my review but normally Mexican restaurants have different type of cheese and home made tortillas.
Dang I really wanted to like this spot! Cool area, quick service, good prices. I just was not able to eat the breakfast tacos. The beans were runny and the chorizo was ground down to a pulp, it definitely didn’t taste like chorizo. I just couldn’t do it. My friend likes this place but I won’t be back.
This little Taquito place is a nice place to stop in and get a quick breakfast or lunch. They prepared the tacos for me, in less than 10 mins and the little lady was nice but should smile a little more. They also basically cook the food right in front of you, so you can watch if you want! Best thing about this place is you can be pumping gas and run inside and get a quick meal before the pump stops!
Really wanted to like this place but was underwhelmed. The ladies behind the counter were super nice and quick. I had breakfast tacos and they were ok, not great though. Adding cheese is 80¢ extra which is annoying but it also wasn’t melted and it wasn’t Mexican cheese. It was like the basic shredded cheddar cheese, more tex-mex I guess. The chorizo & egg was really good. The bacon & egg however wasn’t a strip of bacon but rather chopped up bits of bacon that you can’t taste. Tortillas were ok but unsure if they’re homemade.
The food is good but when we ordered a plate with eggs and barbacoa, they forgot the barbacoa. We had to go back and I requested fresh eggs as the ones we were given were now cold as we had to go back for the barbacoa. The response was that the eggs were hot when the order was picked up. They missed the entire point of re-doing the order because of their mistake. Not the best customer service, in my opinion.
Tacos are overpriced for the amount of meat they include. $3.89 per meat taco. Friendly staff. Slow service. Green salsa was really well flavored with semi medium heat level. A bit selfish with the salsa. The beef asada was well flavored.
Friendly staff. Prices are a bit high and the food is average. They were out if a lot of the stuff I ordered and there was no markings on the chalkboard menu stating so. So I spent some extra time going back and forth to slowly eliminate what they did not have. The service was fast. There is no indoor seating and you must purchase at $5 of items if you want to use your card.
Been going here for years and the tacos are fine... nothing special... just normal breakfast tacos. Problem is the cost. Used to be like $2 a taco and $1 for drink. That's $5 for 2 tacos and a soda. I just ordered that a couple of days ago and it was $10. Seriously. The tacos are pretty small. And they are $2.90 + $80 for a sprinkle of cheese. So... $3.70 for a small breakfast taco? Might as well go to Torchy's--the most expensive place in town. Luckily most of the taco trucks in town still have $2 breakfast tacos and $1 drinks.
Today I decided to go to a new place for breakfast to try them out they had a barbacoa breakfast plate it was around the price of 1099. The price for me was a little on the high end. I guess for barbacoa it's okay but the other regular breakfast plates that didn't come with barbacoa are around the same price. I don't think they should be that price in my opinion. The breakfast and the lunch menu is all the same price as well there's no variation. The barbacoa was good the beans were good. however overall it was okay when you put it all together. I got the barbacoa and ranchero plate. I wanted to have my plate custom made a little bit different than the way that they make it but they were not willing to adjust either to my liking. So would I come back again if I'm in the area & there was nothing else better I probably would stop. If not in the area It's okay but I wouldn't come here 30 minutes from where I live just for this place no I wouldn't.
Tacos were good but we had to wait over 30 minutes after we ordered to actually get the tacos. I'm no taco expert but it's shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to make a bean and cheese. Waited so long my soda got warm.
We found this place after doing a Google search for best taco places in our area. The tacos are just ok, not worth $4 for a single taco, and the employees aren't exactly friendly. Would probably not go back.
Tacos are decent but way overpriced and expect to wait a very long time for food. A bean & cheese taco should not be +/-$5. Expect to wait +/-15 minutes for food. Even if you call in ahead of time you'll be waiting. I've had to leave without getting my food because they take so long.
Los Taquitos I really wanted to like this place, but it was a miss for me. I went in the morning and there were four groups ahead of me. The bigger issue was the space. There is barely anywhere to sit while you wait, so everyone just stands around in a cluttered, cramped area that feels more chaotic than cozy. The pricing situation was frustrating. I was charged more than what was listed on the wall menu. When I asked if prices had gone up, I was told no. Then when I asked why my total was higher, I was told the price had gone up. That contradiction alone left a bad taste before I even got my food. I ordered the migas and was disappointed. There was barely any egg, the beans were runny, and there was no ketchup available for the potatoes. For fresh food that required a wait, I have definitely had better. Overall, it felt like a waste of money and not somewhere I would rush back to.
They make a really nice breakfast taco but I just can't go anymore. Today ordered 4 tacos and had a 33 minute wait.
I have found staff to be very friendly. Tacos seem to vary some in size - can be small and therefore pricey.
Tacos are just ok. Half of the items they advertise on the menu, they don t have. It’s like they don’t even bother to make them at all (lengua, machaca, chicharron, etc.) And then there is the customer service, oohhh boy, it seems like most staff are always in a bad mood, expecting us patrons to know everything already and keep the questions to ourselves… The ok food is not worth the bad service. Waaaaay better food at places where they actually like having customers
Ate there yesterday morning prior to going on my international flight to Thailand. The food gave me violent food poisoning. I am positive it was this restaurant bc that is the only thing I ate in the last 24 hrs prior. Used to love this place but needless to say, I won’t be back. The health department needs to check this place pronto!
Saw the average review was 4 stars, so we went out of our way to stop in- breakfast tacos were mediocre, and overall, the food was disappointing. We also tried the nachos with chicken fajita- the fajita meat was in no way grilled, and you would think with "Mexican Grill" in the name, you would get grilled fajita. Another disappointment was the cheese for the nachos- very runny, and clearly from a can.
The "homemade tortillas" were ok if you know what real homemade tortillas are then you will be disappointed, the barbacoa plate that came with potatoes, beans, eggs was very blan. We never add salt to any food when we eat out because Mexican food is always so flavorful and usually has enough salt but this place lacked any spices or seasonings . We will not be returning. Disappointed
They never have barbacoa after 10.
I love these tacos! i order them all the time. the little Hispanic lady with white hair is so nice. but I gave them a 1 star because the owner is an absolute you know what!! Every time she works, she leaves people on the phone for about 30 mins. Or the last time, she just left the phone off the hook. Seems like she does NOT know how to multi task and her attitude STINKS too! I feel horrible for the little lady that normally works there cause I'm sure the owner just bosses around irrelevantly to make herself seem important!
The tacos are decent; however, you need to make sure they give you back the correct change: they assume you are going to tip them--albeit just a few pennies. I have no problem in doing this; however, let ME determine what to tip! MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU BACK YOUR CHANGE!!!!
This is one of the worst taco places I have ever been to they tried charging me $20 for 4 very small tacos, the lady at the counter was very rude, then she ran my card without asking if I wanted a drink, so when I asked if I could have a drink she said I would have to spend a minimum of 5 dollars on my card to get one.. then I get to my job with my tacos to then realize she messed up my order so all in all would not recommend this place. Not to mention the tacos were so plain absolutely no seasoning
My comfort food is Migas This was inspired by a gas station taqueria near Memorial Park, over the years I've tried to make a point to pop in there for some of this comfort food. This past Saturday as I had to run errands in downtown I revisited Sunrise Taquitos on Memorial, let me just tell you business seems to be booming an ever constant line of customers, the phone ringing off the hook with pickup orders and business seemed to be brisk. I was pleased for them but then realized no seating available inside only outside tables by the gas station, no more complimentary water, no garbage can to throw away your waste products and while waiting 28 minutes for my food I went to retrieve a fork to dine alfresco in my truck only to be yelled at like a dog by the owner who then refused to make eye contact with me as I profusely apologized for a violating some unpublished covid policy. So disappointed in Sunrise Taquito Mexican Grill. I will continue to perfect my process at home and search for a new place to get this wonderful simple comfort food
Mexican lady with white/grey hair at register is rude and unfriendly. Food is nothing special and not worth going back to deal with bad service. Also, 2 breakfast tacos costed me $9.42. It is NOT worth almost $10 OVERPRICED!!
The customer service at this place is the worst!! I called in an order so we didn’t have wait because we were late to my son’s practice. Only to get there and be told tacos still aren’t ready and that it would be another 20-30 minutes. This was the whole point of calling in the order!!! The person taking the phone orders should have made this clear and we would have never placed the order. So not only were they rude as hell but they are also thieves for refusing to refund my $30!!! If you are in a hurry DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Do not call in To Go Orders, if you’re in a hurry!!! And definitely DO NOT PRE PAY for your order!! The point of calling in a “To Go Order” is so when you get there it’s ready !!! Nope!! Not at this place. Expect to wait another 20-30 minutes and if you don’t have that time to wait and decide to cancel your order. Well, Good Luck getting your refund back! Place is a scam!!!! Worst customer service I’ve ever come across!!
If you do not eat pork...Do Not Eat Here! Ordered 2 eggs and cheese tacos and received tacos that smelled and tasted like they had bacon in them but didn't. Asked if I could get two new tacos without the bacon grease and was told "No, everything is cooked in the same pans". I have literally waited in their parking lot for 30 minutes on a previous visit until they opened. If I had known how they prepared their food, I would have never visited.
Sat outside after opening time and was ignored by the staff. People have to get to work ladies, open when you're supposed to.
Been coming for years but may have to stop. Food is great and fair priced but the service is horrible. They are friendly enough but the wait time is always ridiculous. I used to think it was because I was ordering on site but even calling in 2 tacos will take 30 to 40 minutes. Would love to continue to come but can't waste that much time for 2 tacos. Maybe try a better system on your lone to be faster and more efficient. Update: after waiting 30 min for 2 tacos was told it was because they are busy. However I watched 2 people who came to order in person after me, recieve their order before me. And the order taking lady was very rude. If you get a complaint so often that you can blow it off like that, it may mean it's a real problem. And being busy is great but being I'm restaurants myself, being better is always a necessity to surviving in the business. Won't be back out of principle. Plus $4 for a tacos that takes 30 min is crazy!
I’ve been here before and the food was good. This time it was dry, flavorless, took forever to come out and was $12.50 for two tacos. The cashier was rude when I asked for a receipt, I was curious why it was so expensive. This is unfortunate but I won’t be back. In this time in our society when everything is getting ridiculously expensive and seemingly out of control- I’m not spending what I have on a mediocre product and bad service.
