I have been to this restaurant once before. I came into town from Arizona for Corgi Beach day for the weekend and remembered how amazing this place was. Coming back, the staff/management/ownership is over the top spectacular! The customer service is what will make me to come back (not to mention the amazing food!) Overall, the quality of food matched the environment. Amazing!

The food here is DELICIOUS‼️ Host/ Staff/ Owner are all very nice‼️ Definitely will continue to go back and or order to go‼️ Spicy/ Garlic Edamame Miso Soup Wontons Tempura Vegetables (Delicious- crispy & still taste the flavors of the vegetables). 3s Company (sushi on bowl with amazing dipping sauce - mix it around before dipping... LOL) 76 Roll - okay. They def have better rolls there, but still worth trying.

It's wonderful when you go without expectations and my review will completely prevent anyone who reads it from not having the best expectations! Lol You won't be sorry if you order the S.O.F. and Calamari and Magic Mountain. OMG, to eat groaning so wonderful!!! We went on Saturday and came back on Sunday because we wanted to again, again and again!

Best Shabu Shabu in Orange County! Same owner as Sushi On Fire next door. So you can order of that sushi menu too if you like. But the Shabu is awesome. You choose your meat, and choose your broth. I highly recommend the Tonkatsu broth (aka pork broth). If they don't add enough to your water and the flavor is too mild, doubt hesitate to ask for more Tonkatsu to get a stronger flavor. They also give you a complimentary plate of a variety of Asian vegetables. So what is Shabu? Well you basically cook your own food by dipping thin sliced meats and vegetables into boiling broth. Eat as you go. Then at the end when you're starting to get full, just throw the rest of everything you got into the broth and then they'll dump it all into a soup bowl for you. Eat that soup until you can't eat no more. I dare you to try to finish it all! And here's a secret, ask for Saki Punch. It's basically like Vodka Pineapple drink. Delicious!

Awesome dining experience. The hostess/owner was an absolute delight regarding actual service and just the way she greeted and handled guests. The food was fantastic as well. Definitely a great place to go. Just be aware, if you want take out, go to sushi on fire. It's the same menu but they have more chefs so take out service is quicker.

Anyone who didn't give this place five stars is dumb. The service, food and atmosphere is great. Can't wait to go back.

I thought this shabu shabu was just ok. They need to improve the atmosphere - bright white lights at the bar make it feel like a hospital cafeteria. The broth and sauces are pored from these big plastic foodservice jugs. I finished an hour before closing time but all during my meal the staff was cleaning up for the day which was distracting. Also the hot pot is way out in front of you - I could reach but it wasn’t in a comfortable position. The ribeye beef was good and a decent portion but they don’t have the typical goma dare sesame sauce - they have a peanut one that is a bit too sweet.

Shabu not on fire. Meat is good, Shabu pot is 2 feet away from you so your arms are sore. Cannot control heat for the pot since only the staff has access. Service is slow. Did not ask to refill soup base until too late.

Great food, horrible arrogant service by the guy who runs the pm weekday shift. Lived downtown for 25 plus years and never dealt with such an idiot.. 3 people in the entire place and they turn away business 45 minutes until closing so they can go home early. Second time in two weeks they did this. I’m sure the owner would not be happy!
