We were here for breakfast and I have to say it's a great breakfast place with amazing straff and service. Portions are huge, and the food comes in super fast. I tried my favorite, biscuits and gravy, and it's so good. But if you have something else as well, go with the half portion. Orange juice is of good quality and you'll be served the juice in a large glass. But once again, the staff and service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh my... delicious breakfast and wonderful service. Very friendly and all the locals go here. They even offered vegetarian sausage which was such a nice surprise. Homemade taste and crunchy hash browns! So good with mamosa 🥂 Dog friendly, very clean and cozy. 👍 I will be going back and also want to go for lunch.
For over 40 years, I've never had a less than good meal here. Great service, great servers, great coffee (which you can buy a bag now!), great food. I've had very few mis-orders in four decades but I ate those too. You can literally sit down and say "make me whatever" and it will be great.
One of the best diners we've ever been to. Kathy was very kind and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the pork chops. Biscuits and gravy were excellent too, along with the pie. Will have to return and try other flavors.
This little mountain town restaurant was jumpin when we arrived! As soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by a server that took my name and had me wait outside with my friends until she called out my name. Our server's name was Grace. She was VERY pretty and a very good server. She had a bubbly personality and made you feel like the most important person at the moment. The food was fresh and had great flavor. You Doha e to want to come up here because, there are few ways up and if you come up by motorcycle, you better like twisties and sweepers. The town itself is rich with shops and eateries to explore. This is a lovely place to visit on a weekend morning.
My friends and I—a group of 10 motorcycle riders—were on a trip through the area and decided to stop at the Red Kettle for a bite to eat. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with an incredible sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The restaurant itself has this wonderful, cozy home-style feel with just the right amount of rustic, mountain charm that made us all feel right at home. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and the service was nothing short of excellent. They were friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor that kept our whole group laughing. It's not always easy to serve a large group like ours, but they handled it with grace and treated us like we were part of their own family. I ordered one of their omelets, and it was truly outstanding. Cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients, it was exactly what I needed after a long ride. Every single person in our group was thoroughly impressed with their food. The atmosphere, the service, the food—everything was a solid five stars. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're a local or just passing through, I can't recommend the Red Kettle enough. Stop in and see for yourself why this place is a hidden gem.
Amazing little spot in a quaint pretty little town. The menu selection was vast and very tasty. The locals and regulars were very friendly and also recommended our meal. Real family-oriented place great food great atmosphere great customer service. Danielle and the rest of the staff were amazing. Definitely making another visit very soon.
I recently had the pleasure of eating at the Red Kettle Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel right at home with their warm greetings and attentive service. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. The food was nothing short of excellent. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients and delightful flavors that left us thoroughly impressed. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch, the menu offers a variety of options to suit every palate. Moreover, the prices were very reasonable, providing great value for the quality of food and service offered. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of delicious cuisine, welcoming staff, and affordability all in one place. Overall, the Red Kettle Restaurant is a gem worth visiting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
This is as good of a breakfast as you'll get! Tourist towns can be tough but this place is great. The staff is beyond friendly. They're enough to get me to return. The Griddled Potato Scramble is delicious and HUGE. The omelet was great as well, but I can't speak to it because my partner devoured it before I could try it. That speaks for itself, I think. Get the biscuit. It's fluffy and perfect. Just do it. Also, go early. Like, as soon as they open. Otherwise, you're going to be waiting a while.
We had a great breakfast here on Sunday. We tried the polish sausage and eggs, which was a cool option instead of breakfast sausage, and they were able to sub hashbrowns for the eggs in the waffle combo with a sausage patty. The hashbrowns were great, the waffle was good, and the sausage patty was very flavorful. Kathy, our server, was super friendly!
We stopped by for breakfast at the recommendation of several locals. We weren't disappointed! Seated on the patio in the sunshine with our two children and our two dogs, we received a warm and friendly welcome from every server that passed us. We ordered the 2 Cakes Combo, the kid's pancake, a strawberry shake, and the chili fries. The food was terrific and reasonably priced. Grace, our server, was super friendly and attentive. We're definitely coming back here next time we're in town! Also give their muffins a try. Their chocolate one is SO good! I had to take half of it home and the next day it was still perfectly delicious!
Is pet friendly, we were seated about a 5 minute wait. We chose the outside seating. It was clean and spacious patio. Some on the seats had a small blanket to keep you warm. Food was nice and hot when served. The staff kept on checking on the customers. It was really nice. I recommend this place for a delicious meal.
The staff were lovely, the food delicious, and the pre-July 4th atmosphere was jolly. We loved our food & two of the staff in particular were fantastic- the woman who painted the raccoons and the woman who sand the National Anthem at the parade for July 4th. We felt very welcome, the staff were inclusive, patient and kind. The food was so good we’d hoped to make it back but never got the opportunity. Our experience here was perfect.
A classic mountain-town diner with big portions and a welcoming vibe. Locals and visitors alike praise the hearty breakfast and lunch offerings — think fluffy pancakes, creative omelettes, chicken-fried steak and generous sandwiches — all served in a cozy, casual setting with friendly service. The outdoor patio is pet-friendly and perfect for enjoying the fresh air, and the staff makes you feel right at home. It’s a dependable spot for comfort food after a hike or a laid-back morning meal.
Very cute little diner with classic mountain town vibes. They serve freshly squeezed orange juice, which was a nice touch and really tasty. I ordered the breakfast burrito—while it was delicious, the portion was surprisingly small and didn’t come with any sides. It felt underwhelming, especially considering the price. Everyone else’s plates looked much more generous—most people couldn’t even finish their meals. The staff was fast-paced but still attentive and kind. Overall, it’s a charming spot, but I’d probably order something else next time.
It was a lovely place to be. They have variety of breakfast and lunch options. They have a very family vibe kinda restaurant and it was pleasant dining here. The servers were really helpful and paid proper attention to any details or recommendations that you might need. Servers were making sure that the coffee is full and asking if I was enjoying. They have variety of art paintings and sign boards which were beautiful and funny. Loved this place. And if you are an early bird, then do stop by here for some good old American breakfast!
Unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience here. We got a table within 10 minutes, which was great. Our server was prompt in getting our drinks and taking our order. However, the food order came out after 50 minutes. It would have been okay too but the food was plain room temperature, the red kettle French toast and the bacon. It felt like the toast and bacon was made and kept for a while. We were really starving by this point to complain about it so we just ate and left.
Wish we didn't come here. I cant speak about their breakfast, but their lunch, particularly sandwiches are horrible. Absolutely disgusting and a waste of money. On top of the gross sandwiches we got...it took them 35 minutes to make 2 nasty sandwiches at 1:30pm. We believe they forgot our food!!!Total waste of money and time. Wish we ate down the hill. Word to the wise, go somewhere else for lunch, or else pay for overpriced horrible sandwiches in a cute little decorated restaurant.
This place deserves -0 stars, the service horrible, the food horrible cant even begin to describe that waiting for over 1hr for food that taste like it came out of the garbage can and dirty silverware. How can you mess up a club sandwich i have no idea but it was dry and flavorless, ranch dressing watered down, onion rings overly greasy, patty melt cold yet onions steaming hot, flavorless French fries. Dirty silverware gross this place needs a makeover
Wow where do I start? Went after church and seen the line thought it would be worth the 30min wait. Skurrr wrong idea. Waited sat down, drink order taken after about 6 min wait. Finally got drinks and then started to order, was told couldn't order pancakes after noon. Didn't really understand that when we were seated before noon, the server took a while to come to our table, so had to settle and change my choice. Ordered my food and to say the least mediocre. I had patty melt don't understand how onions on my pattymelt was hotter than the meat. I almost burned my tongue on the onions. Chilli was bland and also subpar. I brought it to servers attention she asked if I had chilli before. I was lokey offended but I let it go. Fries were mid. Club sandwich was not decent and the onion rings left the worse after taste I've ever had. Definitely a 1 and done for me ,won't return or recommend. The spacing was too tight, music was ok. I feel patrons with pets should be sat outside for sanitary reasons. Also remember to bring napkins with food and fill the condiments before seating.
