Overnight in Imperia, four well dressed Australians looking for a drink, we checked into our accommodation, walked around the town had a drink at one cafe then walked to the waterfront and were snubbed by some restaurants as we only wanted to stop for a glass of wine and a beer for the boys, we walked a little further when a gentleman from this restaurant invited us in, we explained we only wanted a drink not dinner, he said we were more than welcome, we sat had a drink then another then we had dinner and another drink and left this restaurant very satisfied and thankful for our invitation, thankful for their hospitality, thankful for the great wine and lovely food.

It's a nice restaurant by the Harbour for the ones looking for a more lively place to dine. Food quality and price is good. The wine, spritz and food we ordered was of good quality, thus said we enjoyed better food during our stay in and around imperia. Still, a good restaurant to enjoy dinner with friends. The waiter speaks good command of English, too.

Good restaurant with typical Ligurian dishes. A bit expensive for what we ate. We took an appetizer, fried and grilled fish, and a two desserts.

I had a beef filet but it wasn't up to standard the quality of meat because a lot of fat on it.

We sat down after rebooking our table of 8 during the day. We were pretty much ignored for 25min, then I asked if they could serve us drinks while we waited. We then had the Owner/manager ? come over to take our order, restarted to order and he then started to tell us that it wasn't possible to order to many different things (what's the point of having a menu?) this is due to preparation and wait time! anyway we compromised as we where all getting hungry and tried to order some of the same dishes. once the food started to come out (50min since we sat down) things became a bit more tolerable. food was average and the service was less so.

Good service, but the food was not great. Octopus was dry and seemed pre-prepped or maybe not so fresh (it came soft on the inside, but dry on the outside… not as you would expect a grilled octopus). We ordered two primi, which were pasta with sciampi (prawns) and pasta with vongole. The pasta was good, but the seafood was too overcooked and didn’t seem fresh. We could barely taste the seafood inside the pasta’s sauce. Overall, a bit pricy for what we had, because of the low quality of the ingredients (we payed 58€ for two). Compliments to the service, which was very nice and friendly.

Service was fine. We had a mixed grill fishplate for 20€ price was ok. Fish of the day for 30€ was way to expensive for 2 small sirloin fish with few vegetables. Our 3rd dish was a steak stripes with vegetables, i d rate these with 0 stars because it was really tough.. 2/3 went back in the kitchen. A Classic trap for tourists

TERRIBLE RUDE SERVICE! They HATE non-italians, even those who speak italian. I had dinner here and watched how all the waiters were taking orders and bringing/taking food to/from all the tables except mine for 2 hours. I had to wait 1 hour to receive a simple popular dish that i watched other tables receive before me and finish it and have other items on their table. After eating my 1 item i asked for my check 5 times to several employees they all acknowledged that i am finished and would like to pay to leave they refused to bring my check and for another hour served other tables and guests. I got tired of waiting and being completely ignored by staff and went to the pay counter to wait for my check i stood there for an additional 30 minutes while Employees walked back and forth by me to serve their italian guests first. When they finally gave me my check to pay it was with severe attitude and frowning upset with me for some reason i was there 2 hours for one dinnee item of boiled seafood which takes 10 minutes to cook and eat. Looking at my check they charged me €2.00 for 2 paper disposable napkin that were on my table! They said rudely that they charge €1.00 for EACH PAPER NAPKIN USED!!! There were other charges on my bill that i could not understand and they refused to explain to me what they were. I order one dinner plate with one bottle water there were about 5 different items on my bill for small amounts including the €2.00 napkin fee which is the same cost of a pound/kilogram of paper napkins here. I think they charge you extra for what seems like complimentary bread that is brought to every table and also charge extra for small cracker sticks that also seem complimentary brought to the table with bread. This restaurant is racist against all non-italians and will scam you on the bill to prove how they feel about you. We had to liberate these people from themselves not so long ago and they still hate us after we rebuilt their entire country after setting them free from fascism and this is how they thank us for now coming to pay them more money just to pass through. I hope this restaurant and the people working there one day understand how uneducated they are to hold such opinions of visitors to be so rude to someone who is paying you to do your simple job. It is obvious that this country is suffering only because of their own people refusing to join a global community of non-fascist developed nations and stop praying to images of Mussolini and wishing to revive him from the grave. The axis-power-mentality is alive and strong here where all locals opine themselves above all other nationalities and peoples and band together to chase away any visitors and make them regret ever coming here. But when they come to America they all expect 5 star service, do not tip and are very rude to everyone. Why do they think that they are so special? Read the news, Italy is so messed up and broke that even their grandchildren will not be able to pay back all the loans they took from Europe and China just to keep the water running and even now the municiple water tests show above acceptable level of fecal matter and e.coli

Waited for years, food wasn't that good, high price

The Restaurant is definitely overpriced, and the food is nothing special. Furthermore, the dishes are not served in a nice and attractive manner - without any passion for food. As a side note the waiters did not intervene when the guest on the neighbouring table kept her dog on her lap and fed it from her plate. This definitely has been our worst experience after being 2 weeks in this area.
