Sat at the bar and Maddie took great care of us. There was even happy hour at 9pm! Hot food and full of flavor. Definitely a nice experience. Will be back.

Cameron M is hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had! From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out just right. Everything we had was great. You can tell Cameron takes pride in what she does and really cares about the guest experience. If you’re lucky enough to have Cameron M as your server, you’re in for a great time. We had an incredible experience at BJ’s, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing bartender, Sarah! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. She was incredibly patient while we were figuring out what we wanted and made the whole process feel relaxed and easy. The food tasted fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and just what we were craving. Combined with Sarah’s attentive service and helpful attitude, it made for an all-around great visit. She truly made us feel taken care of and elevated the whole experience!

We had a really great experience at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Sunset Valley. We came in with our two kids, and from the start everything just felt smooth and welcoming. Christian, our server, was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and completely on top of things without making us feel rushed. Orders were accurate, drinks stayed filled, and he handled the table effortlessly. The manager, Angie, also made a point to check in and make sure we were comfortable. You can tell she understands what it takes to make families feel at ease in a restaurant setting, and that extra awareness goes a long way. The food was delicious across the board — great portions, fresh flavors, and something for everyone. The atmosphere struck that perfect balance of lively but still relaxed enough to actually enjoy the meal. All around, it was a great experience and a really solid value for the money. We’ll definitely be back.

My server Ivy was top-notch, the best. They are fantastic. My pizza was great. This is one of the very few places to offer anchovies, so that easily makes sure I'll be returning. The hard root beer is great too.

Had Mr. Christian and he was absolutely phenomenal. Came for the famous Pazooki and it did not disappoint! Christian was very attentive even though he had a bunch of other guests to take care of. We felt bad for all the lemonades we had him refill but he drop them off every single time with a smile. Have only been here once but will definitely be coming back and seeing him again.

Sarah was phenomenal!!! We have nothing to say other than she was our favorite part of our experience. We would come back just for her. Food was good but get Sarah as your bartender!!! So worth it, so sweet, and loves to hang out! We love her.

I came here with my friends on 2/3/26 and had Leah as my server. I never had to get up and ask for anything once, we were extremely well taken care of and the experience was honestly a benchmark for how service should be in a restaurant. We were quite a big group and that did not deter her at all, 10/10 experience because of the service and food!

Whoever may stumble upon this just know that if you have a an event coming up the staff and managers are going to take care of you. I called Angie a few days before with a large party. I let her know it was for my wedding rehearsal. It was super last minute but she was able to fit my party in for the day I requested. We went over table arrangements and buffet for the party. She went above and beyond! I let Angie know tjay my fiancé and I actually met working for the company. Angie thanking you for making my day so special. I can’t forget about our amazing server Andrew O!! Andrew your service was phenomenal you did such a great job. Toward the end Andrew felt like part of the family. Andrew is fantastic at his job. We stopped in for a quiet birthday celebration on a Wednesday afternoon and found this location to be the perfect choice, full of good food and good vibes. Lauren, our server, went above and beyond. She was patient, answered all our questions and encouraged us to take all the time we needed. We received our food in a timely manner, and I felt the appetizers, entrees and desserts were paced just right in order to allow us to enjoy it all to the fullest. The manager, Leah, stopped by our table to check on us and was so much fun to talk to. We truly appreciate the warmth and kindness of the staff and it all made for an unforgettable time. As for the food, the calamari and mac and cheese bites were amazing, and the clam chowder and tavern pizza were delicious as well. We came home with plenty of leftovers! This was my first time at BJ’s with my sister. We came to catch up at is had been a while and this restaurant was the perfect place!! For starters, im a very picky eater and rarely branch out to try new food, but upon meeting our server, Cameron, I got recommended an amazing pizookie and salad! My plate has never been this empty by the time I finished a meal. The music was very nostalgic and fun. The lighting was nice, not too dim nor bright. I truly could not recommend this place enough! If you come by, request Cameron!! They were so helpful and friendly. It actually felt like they cared about our dining experience. Not once did we feel rushed which is so rare to find these days wherever you go. Overall, 10/10 experience! I’ll definitely be back with more people.

Absolutely wonderful!!!! We had a very large group and they made it so easy!!!! Lauren and Cole were our servers and they went above and beyond!!! They seemed calmed and did everything with a smile! It was I baby shower so we had some decorations and we took time opening gifts and visiting. They never rushed us and helped whenever they could! BJ Brewhouse made us a reservation and didn’t charge us a room rental but treated it like a normal reservation! The food was awesome. Can’t say enough! If you need to seat a big group I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Love the flat bread tavern pizza so yummy!! The kale brussel sprout salad was very fresh but really hard no lettuce mostly rabbit greens if you like that stuff. Tried three different bouzouki‘s they were all super delicious and hot and cold with the ice cream!!!

Went there for lunch on a weekday so we didn't have any wait. The menu is kinda on the expensive side but the potion sizes are pretty decent. The service was also good and prompt

The food is nice. The deep dish pizza is so nice! The dough is a little bit crispy and not too oily, soft and not dry. Since there’s a deal on pizookies today, we ordered both triple chocolate and peanut butter s’mores. It’s like chocolate cake with ice cream. The chocolate are all from Ghirardelli, a brand that I love a lot. However, the triple chocolate one is a little bit too sweet, maybe becoz it’s all chocolate, including the ice cream. The s’mores one tastes sweet and salty, since there’s peanut butter inside. The marshmallows are baked well. You should definitely try it! The one thing I’m not happy about is the service. The waitress is not paying attention to us, we waited for a long time to order and to get our orders. We also waited for a while and finally decided to go directly to the cashier to pay.

An enjoyable experience. Good food, fairly quick service, and a fun atmosphere makes for a comfortable and relaxing meal. You have a plethora of options for lunch and dinner. TVs, a bar, and plenty of table options to choose from. Ordered a tri-tip steak and the meat was good, but I actually liked the sauce better. There is something for everyone here.

We came during lunch time on a Saturday, not busy at all, we were seated right away, our server (Ellie) was amazing! She treated us like we were friends & I love that she was the sweetest! Our food was amazing, but my husband didn’t like the pork ribs he ordered unfortunately they had a funny taste to them, but the kitchen manager came to talk to us about it & we mentioned it was nothing w/the chef, the rest of the food was great!

Fun vibe for a comfortable night out. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, sliders were good, always love battered fries, and pizza has thick crust. Our server was new and still learning the menu, but she was off to a good start.

Good sports bar except for Thursday night NFL. Because it is on Prime it requires an Internet connection to view and their internet connection is terrible. The screen pixelates every few seconds… very frustrating.

Food is good. The waiter was very attentive. However, the restaurant a freezing cold and made lunch not very enjoyable.

Very Sarah was great and had excellent customer service. We appreciate her kindness. As for the portion vs price for a side of fries, it's insane that a small plate of fries is $5.99. For that price I was expecting a basket of fries.

I had the seared Ahi Tuna Salad and it was delicious. It was not crowded at noon. I will try it again.

I had the steak &wedge salad at the bar. The steak definitely could've been more rare liked i asked but I was super hungry I didn't send it back. Our bartender Gabby was really sweet and friendly. A great attitude even late at night when she may be tired herself.

Neighbors invited us to go with them and celebrate their grandkids' end of sitting semester at school. The baby back ribs, California chicken club sandwich and chicken parmigiana were hits - the avocado egg rolls and chicken bacon ranch piadina we're okay. Update* we had a reward for a dessert and decided to go ahead and get it. Gotta say the cookies and creme pazookie was very good. Will come back just got dessert for now on. The service and atmosphere are good, no complaints there, but the food is just so mid. My chicken parmigiana didn't match the picture much and the taste was lacking. The spaghetti sauce felt like prego or something, I've had better at home from the HEB jar, and the chicken was like rubber however it did have a really good crisp to it so that was nice. We got the nachos and they looked like they have been sitting at least half an hour before being served, we questioned if they were left over from another order. The cheese was rubber, the guac was turning brown, and the chips felt too toasted as if they've been under a lamp too long. We opted not to do dessert in fear of it following the same trend. Neither entree was finished. Oh, but I do recommend the pretzel!

Overall meh experience. The host said it would be 10 minutes (we had a reservation) it ended up being 30 minutes past the reservation time. The food didn't come out together which I don't like because people are eating and others are waiting 5 minutes for food. I ordered the new steak and fries. I asked the server if it would come out as rare as the picture (I wanted it like that) and he said he would take care of me if it didn't and that it would come medium. Of course, it didn't, and he said there was nothing he could do. So eventually a manager comes over and I order a bacon guacamole burger instead. It comes with no bacon. Its called a bacon guacamole burger and it has no bacon. They took the steak away and still charged me for it (both the steak and burger). They removed the steak upon request, but still. The server took forever to greet us, the food took forever to come, the recipt took forever to come. Overall Meh food, meh service.

It’s been probably 10 years since I’ve set foot in a BJ’s. I remember it being pretty darn good food and sitting a little higher on the scale of value (Luby’s on the bottom Perry’s on top) when it comes to chain restaurants. Last night, party of 10, us and another large party in the side-room away from the bar. Both birthday celebrations. But I quickly notice only about 60% of the restaurant is available for seating on a SATURDAY NIGHT! Which tells me they don’t have staff to serve at capacity. The server’s performance was underwhelming. She was bubbly and pleasant and humorous. However, drinks barely got refilled. I had tea, it was refilled once and we were there for two hours. Other drink orders were forgotten. She missed a few important details on food orders. There was quite a gap between courses, which made me think that things weren’t going well BOH. Sure enough, our food came out barely warm enough to eat. I notice the table adjacent to us had left almost an hour ago and it hadn’t been bussed yet. This is a management problem, not a server problem. BJ’s is not what it once was. I have no reason to go back ever.

Very disappointing dinner. We go there several times a year and this was worst service we’ve ever had. Also the rock music was way too loud which was never an issue in past. Most disappointing was our Pizooki never came after waiter assuring us it was on its way multiple times. When we finally told him we were leaving after waiting 25 minutes after placing order he said “I think they threw your order away.” No one apologized or offered to comp us anything since this was part of a package meal with free pizooki. Mentioned it in front of lady who seemed to be the manager and she just smiled. Not sure what is going on but based on what we saw it seems like place is going down hill.

VERY disappointed that I wasted almost $60 on food that was severely lacking so much so that my spouse had to try and fix it by essentially recooking it. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken is one of my favorite dishes here. I love Bj's and have ordered this many times at other locations with no complaints. My recent order from the Brodie - Bj's was awful. I used Doordash and was unable to swap a side on my entree so I called the restaurant and offered to pay any difference needed. I was at first put on hold then told that I could go on the Bj's app and order a side and they could add it to my bag. I asked if I could just order it from her and pay and she said her manager was waiting on her (they were about to close and it seemed as though they didn't feel like ringing up a ticket) after that she hangs up on me. I go online and guess what? The online ordering is already turned off! Which she knew while telling me to go do it. Then when my order arrived I was severely disappointed. The Parmesan-Crusted Chicken was undercooked and the Lemon Chardonnay Butter Sauce was missing. How can you not send the sauce the entree comes submerged in?!? We received an old potatoe with NO fixings. All of the food was cold and stale. It was very disappointing as I've always loved Bj's for it's consistency - great food, great service, great times. This location however doesn't seem to care at all.

The fried calamari was not very good and extremely dry.

Service was ridiculously slow and not very attentive. Waited 10 minutes for the waitress to arrive at our table and another 10 to even get drinks. It was an hour before we got all our food. Waitress made excuses about the kitchen being so busy even though the restaurant was barely 25% full. Food quality has gone way down from previous experiences at this chain, even though prices are still high. Will not go back again.

My wife and I came in for a quick bite before we ran some more errands. Let me preface this by saying that we are both servers at another “casual fine dining” joint in North Austin. The food was great for happy hour, don’t get it twisted. The service, on the other hand, needs some serious work. For an entirely empty restaurant — save four or five tables — our servers were distant, hard to find and nowhere near seeming to enjoy themselves in the slightest. I understand it’s a job and no one wants to be at work on a pretty day, but when you approach a table of servers with “What do you want?”, it just put a sour taste in our mouths. We were nothing but kind, “please and thank you” — and still met with a weird indifference from a server we hardly saw. No pre-drops, no kindness — serving can be a fun job, but not with that kind of attitude. I hardly make reviews, but these servers need to take a serious class in customer service.

I’ll start with sharing that my husband and I share the same birthday- 1/31. We travel for work and flew back home to Austin for family pics and birthday Burch with our kids and grandkids. We chose BJ’s because of the yummy food, good drinks and overall good experience in the past. We came in on Saturday 1/27 since our days was falling on a Wednesday and we’d be back at work in Atlanta by then. Our waitress was aloof and walked away in the middle us placing drink orders. Then she interrupted my husband placing his drink order, touching his shoulder and staying “I wasn’t done with her”… not very polite, but okay. Our glasses of water were empty for 15 minutes at a time and only refilled when we requested; she then convinced my son who ordered get chicken fettuccine Alfredo, to get it “Italian” style and then a chicken Parmesan showed up, not a chicken fettuccine Alfredo… she wasn’t thrilled about replacing it for the correct meal and told him “It’s what you ordered”… next issue was that our kids convinced us to get the bday dessert, that we initially didn’t want, but then thought we could share it with the kids and grandkids… Since it’s pretty rare that a couple shares of birthday and we would be asking for two complementary desserts, my husband and I showed her our drivers license is proving that it’s our birthday in a couple of days and not months out. The waitress then proceeds to lecture us about how people take advantage of free desserts (then corrected herself and said “I mean the servers do too…”!?!?) - told its why I showed her our ID and since our actual birthday fell on the upcoming Wednesday, we’d be back at work - and we’re out that day to celebrate our birthdays with our kids. She thanked us for understanding her need to charge for the two desserts; she made the whole situation awkward! We cancelled the dessert we didn’t actually want anyway… Then the check came… she said for parties of 10 or more 18% gratuity was included… okay, except three out of our party of 10 for children… Two-year-old, four-year old and six year old- all we behaved, polite and not problematic (didn’t even make a mess) … we are chronically 20-35% tippers - if the service is up to par— clearly it wasn’t- overall this was an awful birthday experience and rest assured we will take our & money and family elsewhere!

I ordered a Filet mignon medium and when they brought it looked like they just killed the cow and served it on the plate , server was super chill and manager was nice but I'm pretty sure the chefs are blind. When they brought it out, it wasn't even a filet mignon, they gave me a free pazookie... that's it.

The server was very nice but we had problems with the manager. My friend received a DRY, tough burger and only had one bite and they still took off 25%. After this we ordered a pizookie to end the meal off on a good note and were really looking forward to it but when we bit in IT WAS RAW. We told the manager and he said “you definitely will not get sick” yet there was raw eggs in it.

What the heck happened to BJs?? Hot beer??!?! That never happens but last night was definitely the case. Cold pizza??? Why is my beer hot and pizza cold? Our server last night was either annoyed with us or annoyed at bjs just like we were! Asked for the manager and never got the manager, server probably never got the manager. Said I wasn’t going to pay for anything, because I didn’t eat anything , well had a slice of pizza but since I finished my beer I had decided I should go ahead and pay, but paying for 6 hot beers and a cold pizza!?!?! This was one of the worst casual restaurant experiences I’ve had and by no means do I have high standards. They were out of the margarita that I ordered so instead I asked for a beer that was also out of stock. The restaurant was freezing cold. Calamari was served cold. Our server was kind and responsive but he gave us a different drink than what we ordered. I didn’t even want to say anything about it because of how badly I wanted to leave. The couple beside us walked out before ordering for a reason unknown to me. Ordered 2 appetizers 1 pazookie and 1 drink for a total above $60. Felt like robbery

I should have taken a picture, but my husband brought me home the Seared Ahi Tuna salad after he had dinner with a friend at this location. Their experience was fine, but my review is regarding my experience of the takeout they sent with my husband. At least a fistful of the spring greens were completely rotted. And I'm not talking about a little bit of slightly wilted lettuce, I'm talking completely rotted mushy disgustingly inedible mess. It seems all BJs have the same lack of care for their takeout customers as every time I've gotten takeout whether it's vía doordash or going to pickup, etc, the quality is extremely poor even though when you go in person things are usually good. I will not be giving any BJ's anymore chances moving forward as there have been too many mistakes. They can't seem to uphold a good standard across experiences.

WOW NEVER IN MY LIFE..... Shocked (in a bad way) by my experience. Dined here and realized a piece of my jewelry had fallen on the floor. I called within an hour of getting home and they found it and told me it would be set aside so I could come pick it up. A few days later I went to pick it up and I was asked to wait a half hour for a manager to arrive. An hour after I arrived I inquired - apparently they had put my bracelet in the safe but now it was gone. Manager Manny was very nice and said he was the one who had found it and stored it in the safe and the accountant saw it the next morning and he was flabbergasted by where it could have gone. Female bartender who had taken care of us and was there this day was also very nice and gave great service. Manny said he would circle around to all management and they'd be in touch. He gave me a gift card as a thank you for my patience for waiting an hour so I was still on board with BJ's Sunset Valley despite being grossed out that someone (obviously) took my bracelet. This is where it gets even worse. GM Manager Leslie called and left a voicemail for me - no where in her 40 second vm did she empathize or apologize. She just stated facts that they were looking and she never saw it and blah blah blah. I called her back and she started explaining the same stuff and how Manny didn't follow protocol and this and that. AGAIN NO SIMPLE APOLOGY or reflective listening skills or empathy for my frustration and disappointment . I've managed fine dining restaurants in Manhattan and a high end spa in Austin - the FIRST THING I would have done was take accountability for this inexcusable fact (that' someone obviously took it) and APOLOGIZE. Managers are supposed to smooth things over and take responsibility, etc. I don't care WHY it happened, I care THAT it happened. When I brought up my disappointment in her lack of apology we ended up talking over each other. I asked what she was going to do to make this right and she said she'd be in touch with their "retention" department for a "courtesy card." You can keep it Leslie, thanks to you I will never step foot in there again. Shameful.

Case management problem. My husband and I have been going to BJs for over a decade. We have had our fair share of less than perfect experiences that were not a big deal and no reason to write off BJs. Recently, we have had more questionable experiences in different ways but we are friendly understanding patient people who know how to focus on the good experiences. Tonight was the last straw. We walked into BJs at Brodie Lane in Austin, TX before 7:11 pm and received food at 7:54 pm. I ordered one simple appetizer, which did arrive before my husband’s meal (thankfully). My husband ordered a simple bowl of chili and a side salad. When his chili arrived it was cold and was a pathetic and diluted version of what you envision chili to be. We would have asked for the chili to be reheated but we had already waited so long and the chili was not worth waiting for a second time. Despite what we had already experienced, we were hoping for a more positive end (and redemption) but there was more waiting. Eventually, I had to approach who I thought was the manager to check us out. She expressed zero interest in learning why I had to approach her for assistance. Tonight was clearly a casebook study on bad management. I do think that our server was trying but had way too much to cover. My general rule is to only give good reviews. I know the significance of bad reviews and this is probably one of two bad reviews that I have ever given. I have no intention of ever returning to a BJs, anywhere.

My husband and I had lunch at BJ's yesterday on Friday December 26th when they opened. When we were seated. It took the waitress quite a while for her to come and acknowledge us though we saw several staff members standing around talking since there was really no one there since they just opened. When she finally came took our order. When we received our food the fries were extremely salty the burger was dry. And the music was so loud and blessing it seemed like we were at a rock concert. Those of us who are of a mature age really that type of music isn't very relaxing for eating at a restaurant. I really think they should tone down the volume and choose some music that's favorable to everyone of every age. I don't think we will be coming back again to this restaurant

So I was at BJ’s drinking a beer and I get the first beer. I ordered had some black floating in it. The second beer I ordered drink all the way and couldn’t find out. There is a whole bunch of black crap at the bottom of the glass I got sick to my stomach. It was so freaking nasty. I did not recommend working. I mean I’m going to BJ’s to have drinks the food. I don’t know. I didn’t get order no food but stay away from the drinks. It’s like they don’t clean for nothing they health inspector need to go out there and inspect that place.

Worst BJ’s I’ve ever been to. Only been to this location twice and won’t be coming back. The first time they sat us with menus and we waited 40mins and no one came to us not even to give us waters so we left. The second time we asked them if we could change just one of the TV’s to watch another football game and they said someone requested all the TV’s to play the UT game. They have so many TV’s right next to each other. Why can’t one of them play another football game. That’s typically how watching college football at a restaurant works. I was finished with my food when someone else in our party finally got their food. Never asked me if I wanted another drink.

Tried to dine in on 10-3-25 and it was the worst. Wait 20+ minutes for a water and tea. My son and I ordered burgers, 45 min. in we gave up waiting. I asked to just pay for our drinks, they start scrambling to see where our food is at. It still wasn't ready. I believe our server was new bc she had a weird quiet intense guy monitoring her and following her around. He just stood there without saying anything it was weird. Our server was nice and apologetic everyone else seemed to not care. It was our first time trying it out, DO NOT RECOMMEND. We went next door to Longhorn Steak House and it was AMAZING. Start to finish a complete 360 from Bj's!!!
