Peyton is such a friendly employee. He is professional and works quickly and efficiently. The store is clean, the donuts look and taste amazing, and he has a friendly disposition. So glad he is the first person I saw after a long and boring graveyard shift. He made my morning! Keep up the good work Peyton! You rock! 😎👍😁

The staff here were very friendly. She was backed up when we visited as they make their donuts fresh, but still was super accommodating. The donuts are lighter than most donut shops, which is nice as you don’t feel as guilty eating a few in one setting. Great selection, good value, will be back.

Love love love how cute the idea of a duck donut store is! They even sell rubber ducks you can buy and have specific duck donut rubber ducks. Got the s’mores donut and it was delicious! They make it fresh so wait time was around 5 mins. You can’t tell me this doesn’t look amazing

The hype is real. Fresh hot doughnuts DO hit different. Don't pass up on the utensils. Hot and soft while coated in goodness was new to me. The bacon was layered on thick which was great and the blueberry was decadent. Ate the cinnamon one last and wish I didn't. It was still great but I bet it would have been out of this world if it were hot. VooDoo doughnuts eat your heart out. I live in Portland and they have to step their game up. Serve em hot!

Ducks Donuts is one of the freshest, decadent donuts you can get. They warm and prepare your choice of toppings or signature flavored donut. I stopped by the Irvine location where Sam greeted and prepared my treats. He was polite and informative. Thank you for prepping my long awaited dessert cravings.

First time here. Ordered the Bacon Egg & Cheese on a cinnamon brown sugar donut. First, the donut was softer than cotton. Perfectly coated and amazing with the ingredients. Customer service was great. Super nice and recommended that gem of a breakfast sandwhich. The store is in a great location as well. Its a must visit for everyone.

Recently some friends and I were in California and we came across this donut shop location. The workers were so great and we made it our mission to make them laugh with our randomness. We succeeded. Apart from that the donuts are carefully crafted during the time you are there, to your specifications! They turned out like works of art and each one was delicious! Recommend checking out!

Really delicious donuts served up in unassuming storefront as part of a larger strip mall. The donuts are quite unique as they have a very cake like batter and very fluffy although a tiny bit small. They have tons of flavors including their signature collection to their seasonal holiday options. They even have a promotion at the time of this writing where they will give you two donuts or $5 off a dozen donuts if you write a review on yelp. Check this place out if you're in the area.

Donuts were very good (although very sugary). The conceit is unique and well executed. The two employees at this location did a remarkable job. Not just providing great service but making the food look as good as it tasted. I imagine it would be easy enough to just slap toppings on a donut, but they actually took the extra time to make it look pretty. A couple other things of note: best store bought hot chocolate I've ever had; they serve Thrifty ice cream (iykyk).

When they say “made to order donuts” they mean it. Each time to visit they will freshly make your donuts and the best part is you can watch them decorate each one! Or don’t if you don’t like that sort of thing. But he warned, you will miss out on all the fun. Duck Donuts also has a plethora, yes I said that word, of flavors to choose from and you can customize each one to your liking. These donuts are perfect for any gathering I promise you. I’ve had friends come to me and say “ummmm.... Celeste I’m going to keep these. Okay, thanks!” It’s happened multiple times. Please go here and please share your experience with me! Wow. Duck Doughnuts just made my top 3 for best doughnut spots in OC right up there with Sidecar and JD Flannel. Their doughnut is a different style all it's own. They're not a cake doughnut and not quite a yeast. Imagine a hot, fresh funnel cake - only in doughnut form. That's a Duck Doughnut. They're not kidding when they say their doughnuts are made fresh. When you place your order, you can choose one of their signature flavor combos or design your own doughnut and pick your own glazes and toppings! The team will make your doughnut, generously top it, and then hand you a little cardboard box with your warm, delicious, made to order doughnut (the box is very accurate). I recommend sitting down and enjoying your doughnut immediately. There's nothing like it.

Wow I can't believe I haven't done a review here yet. All your doughnuts are made fresh to order. They are all warm and yummy. I heard you can get Vegan doughnuts too so I'm here to try some. They use a different dough for Vegan doughnuts. Almost all toppings are Vegan too. I'm not Vegan so I'll eat anything. All the doughnuts are so good. I really like the bacon doughnuts.

I found this place via Instagram (yay marketing!) It was absolutely adorable inside and very warm and inviting. The employee was very friendly and helpful and did a great job makin’ my schtuff. The donut I got was definitely the most delicious donut I’ve ever had. Warm, cinnamon-y and it tasted just like a carnival donut would taste. I’m absolutely coming back. How did I not hear about this place until now?! Yum!

The staff all greeted and were very knowledgeable with the menu. I got the blueberry pancake donut and Oreo they were light perfect sugar ratio. We also got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg it was tasty but missing spread of some sort because it was really dry. Drinks were good it was a cool experience.

We only tried the donuts, but the donuts were really moist, still warm when we ate them, and we also got great ideas and inspirations from the person at the counter. The menu really is only there for your convenience. You can customize to your heart's content given that you know what the menu is.

Had a simple vegan glazed donut. Customer service was zero but I was quickly drawn into the world of ducks. Love the donut to order. Crispy on the outside warm cake in the middle . I wish there were more of them locally. I found it looking for something else in Irvine.

The vegan base is available as a single donut order only if they have some batter already made. If they don't have some already made then you need to order 6 donuts minimum. They have a whole page of options they can make vegan as most of the glazes and toppings are allergen free. The donuts are served hot and fresh, which is fun, but I must say... To properly taste the donut flavors, you need to let it cool off. The blueberry pancake was my favorite and so tasty and nostalgic. They are pricey and on the smaller side compared to a traditional donut shop, but definitely worth it as a special treat. Located in a strip mall, plenty of open free parking.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon when it wasn't busy. Received awesome friendly service from Rolls Royce. Donuts he made were very tasty. Couldn't have been a better experience especially for our first time there.

Very cool donut shop everything is made to order, lots of speciality donuts. The service was great the employees very friendly, the wait was good about 10 min, not bad considering they literally make the donut you order, i got the French toast donut and a frozen strawberry lemonade. Loved it. For a fat boy like me this place is heaven.

Very sweet and playful flavors combined with airy dough. Fast and friendly service with clean interiors. Ample parking. A bit pricey compared to major chains, but lots of creative flavors.

Visited this location recently. Enjoyed two donuts (French Toast & Blueberry Cheesecake) and a Cafe Mocha. The clerk was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, this store has no indoor seating, and as of a Saturday morning around 9 am, no outdoor seating. The store is located directly across the street from the Von Karman Towers business complex.

These donuts are made to order soft cake donuts. Ordered and ate maple bacon on the spot. I was pleased with the texture of the donut but the sweetness was overwhelming for myself. Worth a visit when you need something sweet after eating something else in the plaza or picking up.

I used to go to this place to get donuts and then stopped for a long time. I went today and I now remember why I stopped going. You can taste the quality of the oil in their donut. They're clearly reusing oil too much as you get a nasty aftertaste in their donut batter. There are many other donut places that are better. Try sidecar in Costa Mesa or friendly's in orange. These places don't reuse the oil as much and you get a much cleaner taste.

If you're expecting doughnut holes, you will not get them. They are just ripped up doughnuts. They do not look like the picture. Servers were very sweet and apologetic.

Duck donuts are delicious but their not the old fashion doughnuts that I love. Coke vs. Pepsi. New York-style vs. Chicago-style pizza. Milk chocolate vs. dark chocolate. Shake Shack vs. In-N-Out and now cake doughnuts vs fried doughnuts. The more popular kind of donuts (I think) are yeast donuts. These are the bready ones and kind of bounce back when you pinch or poke it. Cakey ones, however, are the ones which are dense, crumbles apart when you break it and tastes like cakes of course. I think they're also called traditional donuts. The Duck Doughnuts are hard glaze on some are even worse. It's like you can feel all the sugar slide against your teeth but this doesn't happen with the yeast kind. Plus, when cake donuts get cold it's more like stale cake. Bleh. I’m old school doughnut man. My favorite is the Bacon in the Sun & the Beach Ball. As good as it was, it was a sugar overload- which isn't bad for the energy you get. I have a feeling this will get boring quickly and the initial interest will fade. It already has for me. Staff was nice.

For $17 these donuts have no flavor. The only ones that had a slight flavor to them were the peanut butter one(top right corner) and the lucky charms one(middle bottom). I would not be trying this again. I'm going to go to my local donut place that actually has donuts that taste like they're advertised. I was very disappointed as the reviews were mostly spectacular.
