Best steakhouse in the area! If you’re into steaks, you should try them, very unique atmosphere. You have the option to choose the type of raw meat you like from the different types you can see in the fridge!

Not rushed, plenty of attention but not too much. Host checked on us after we had started the meal; not a minute after we were served when you hadn’t even started. (Saturday for dinner)

Being a vegetarian, I knew it was a risk to go here. I was very open and said that I'd just come for the baked potato when I was asked if I wanted to choose my steak. Instead of looking at me like I was crazy for even coming into the restaurant, the servers were all really doing their best to accommodate me and make sure I was ok. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the people were really friendly. Because it was my first time, I was given samples of the sides that the Texas Roadhouse offers. The servers went above and beyond to make sure the samples they have me were vegetarian, coming to check with me twice before even putting the plate in front of me. I felt very well taken care of! The bag of peanuts on the table was a plus. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to visiting again.

You know what you're going to get when you go to a Texas Roadhouse, right? But even on a really busy night (parent weekend at the college, and Saturday night) the service was fantastic, the food was absolutely on point, and things moved quickly. Our waiter, Trevor, gave us service with a smile, even while running several tables, and we got our food, piping hot, pretty quickly! Great spot!

Some steaks can be mediocrely cooked but nothing beats a good medium rare prime rib dinner.

Just love this entire chain. Never had bad service. I'm not a fan of all the peanut shells all over, but to each their own.

This is definitely such a fun restaurant – it’s vibrant and energetic! The staff is friendly from the moment you step into the store and they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Their menu is extensive, ranging from steaks to sandwiches and more. Their portion sizes are very generous, with 2 sides included with some entrees, and the prices are affordable. The steaks are cooked as ordered and were largely delicious. Definitely a place to bring a large group. My favorite part is the paying process where you can scan the QR code on the tablet directly, no need to wait for any assistance! Would recommend anyone to try this place at least once.

My boyfriend and I come here pretty often, and the food is always good. The best service though, without a doubt, was from Dani B. She was super attentive, very kind, and did a fantastic job. We can’t say enough nice things about her and will definitely ask for her again. Our steaks also came out perfectly.

Dont really review franchises very often but the server, Destiney, served us really well and made the experience that much better. They were packed and got us in pretty fast. Was actually full (can eat alot). Also really enjoyed the decor and its a really good location.

I thought the cinnamon in the butter for the rolls was interesting. My steak was cooked the way I wanted it, and the mushrooms and onions went really well with the side vegetables. If you’re a vegetable enjoyer who orders steak, I recommend getting it smothered (with the mushrooms and onion).

My husband and I were in town and decided to go here last minute. There wasn’t a wait and they were very accommodating to my toddler. My husband said his steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare). The staff were very friendly. Checked on us often, but not too much. Overall a great meal and experience.

We stopped here for dinner on our way. The place has a very nice atmosphere, great service and decent price. We got 2 filet steak that were delicious, the side dishes were great also and the onion ring was a great starter. Nice experience, recommend visiting.

All the servers our party had were really welcoming and charming. Great and consistent hospitality. Our booth was tucked away in a corner, and the warm atmosphere was really a good conversation boost, at least in my opinion. I left feeling very full but no doubt I’ll probably come back in the future.

The steak salad is delicious. Service can vary. Most of the time meals are carefully prepared but sometimes they’re thrown together and skimpy. Five stars because they’re always delicious and usually well made.

We have tried many different items on the menu and the food is good all the time. Our favorite dishes include the ribs, shrimps, rib eye steak and chicken critters. The sides are yummy too. Service is generally good but can be better as sometimes the waiter just disappear and we have to wait really long to ask for the bill.

I had my first-ever Texas Roadhouse experience in Ithaca, and it did not disappoint! Since we don’t have them in Canada, I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I mentioned it to one of the managers and our server, they surprised me with a sample of four sides: mac and cheese, chili, mashed potatoes, and seasoned corn. Every single one was delicious! The highlight, though, was receiving a Texas Roadhouse goodie bag with their signature peanuts and famous rib rub seasoning—what a thoughtful touch! I ordered the ribeye and a Caesar salad, and both were fantastic. Truly glad I got to experience Texas Roadhouse here—it exceeded all expectations!

Temperature is usually higher than what you ask for. If you like medium-well, order medium. I dare say it's among the best restaurants around Cornell that you will not need a loan to eat at.

THE BEST Roadhouse Experience!! Wow, Ithaca is blessed. And I’m blown away. SAM is an A+++, 5 star waitress. ALL the staff are top tier servers! (Hosts, Runners, bussers, cooks and clearly management must be outstanding.) The kitchen is absolutely on point!! The food was all PERFECT. The prices were remarkably reasonable. The menu was flexible. We had allergy and did some mix and match Sam was patient, proficient and expertly competent! Josh, the kitchen manager came out and made our experience even better as well!! Steak was perfect. Apps. Sides. Sandwiches and salads. We are leaving VERY happy, full and with plenty to-go in tow! YEE-HAW!! 🤠. Excellent place, must visit! Absolutely loved their bottomless bread. Cinnamon butter is also bottomless and tasty. Huge glasses of soda for only 2$ and some sauces. Every table has a screen where you pay for your order, also there're some games for kids (but you pay 2$ to play). I ordered smokehouse burger, and it was big and amazing! Very tasty, cheese was great and patty too. They also serve french fries and a half of a pickle with burgers. Prices are not high especially because you have bottomless bread! The only thing is that I visited during lunch time on Sunday, so I needed to wait for 15 minutes, but they have many seats inside to wait so it wasn't a big problem. I advise to make a reservation though.

went here for the first time this weekend and it was so amazing! got sirloin steak, chili and fries everything was so so so good! especially the chili. and the steak. and the bread was great too. it is VERY expensive tho ! so be aware of that , for 4 people it was 130$!!!! very expensive. also: if you are waiting on someone do NOT tell them! just tell them your ready to be seated. if they know that someone else is coming they will make you wait for that person even if your entire party is there in that person is half an hour late!! the only thing i didn't like . thought that was ridiculous ! but the food was great!

Great steak-my favorite is the ribeye for the flavor. For the first time since I've been to a Texas Roadhouse, my hostess actually offered for me to pick a hand cut steak. I chose a hand that sounds good. cut steak from the display and it had less fat and grease but still plants of marbling for good flavor-I may do that again! My folks love the blue lemonade!

Texas roadhouse is awesome. Love the service, atmosphere, and food. The free flow bread is heavenly, I don't know how they make their bread that good. Ordered the rib eye, with baked potato and caesar salad. The salad dressing was perfect, not too heavy. The baked potato was a nice change because I usually get french fries. It was hot and loaded with bacon and cheese, super. The rib eye itself was amazing, perfect medium rare, mushroom topping was tasty as well. I always love the vibe eating here with friends, always come out of the restaurant satisfied and happy.

This place is like no other. It was truly an amazing experience! My husband and I have never been to this chain before and when I tell you we've been seriously missing out. From the second we walked in those doors it was a delight. From the customer service from every single person throughout the whole place was beyond exceptional! The food was absolutely delicious. We had a bit of everything, steak, ribs and chicken and all the sides! Everything was cooked to perfection! It was sooooo good that we went back only 3 days later with a few of our friends. They also sit you down with a basket of freshly made rolls that were still hot from the oven and came with some sort of magical cinnamon butter! I'm also now craving they're fried pickles, because they're the best fried pickles I've ever had! Then because we were only in Ithaca to furbaby sit for my sister, on our last night there we ordered for pickup from them and even THAT WAS EXCELLENT and it was a take out order. I dream of being able to go back and dive into the most delicious brown gravy I've ever tasted and say hi and thank you again to all the wonderful staff and chefs! Yesterday was my wife's birthday, and we were driving back home from Ithaca. We had heard about Texas Roadhouse, but had never visited one. I'm glad we visited this one. My daughter, who is 3 wanted to pay for mommy, so she brought her 2 quarters. Promptly, she dropped one by the sitting area (we waited 2 minutes) and she began to cry. I looked for it, but I couldn't find it and I was about to go back to the car to get another one, but this lovely young waitress gave me one from her tips. OK, you guys were extra nice to my daughter--- I was won over. The service: Ally was our waitress. She was genial and friendly. After she took our order, she came by often to see how we were doing and to ask if we needed something. Prior to being seated, Lewis took us to our table and gave us a tour of the facility and meats (if you want you can pick the cut of beef you want). We mentioned that it was my wife's birthday and he said he'd mentioned it to our waitress. Midway through our dinner, Andrea the manager dropped by to welcome us and to wish my wife a happy birthday. Towards the end of our dinner, Ally and her colleagues gave my wife a birthday, "yahoo." I pointed out to my wife that in our town we have young people in the food industry who inhospitable and disinterested. They just go through the motions of serving their guests. The young ladies and gentleman who we saw actually worked well for their wages. They were all polite and friendly. Human resources person-- you did good with your Ithaca crew. The food: The bread and butter (a cinnamon concoction) was totally delicious. It was followed by a bag of peanuts which our daughter loved. The appetizers came quickly. We got the sampler. Never had fried pickles before--- they were pretty good. I won't ordered them again, but I'm glad I had a taste. My wife was delighted by her frozen mango margarita and gave it 2 thumbs up. The chili was freshly made and I highly recommend it. My wife's shrimp and mashed potatoes were great and so was her meat--- medium done. TBH, my steak was a little dry, but the ribs were good. Overall, my family had a great time. And I look forward to visiting another Texas Roadhouse. Hope it matches the standard of the Ithaca franchise.

Nice ambience, reasonable price, and good service. It's just that personally I find the food's taste rather average. Like, it's not bad. But certainly not as good as what I usually give for 5 stars.

Place was crazy busy, but the wait wasn't too bad. We had a great server and our experience was fun and the food was decent. Plates are large servings and definitely had to take most of it to go.

This was upstate Ithaca, went to visit our son for family weekend at Ithaca pravite college and decided to go there, the steak and drinks were very nice, we didn't like the mash potatoes but thats ok!! Friendly service and I would visit again.

Food was mediocre steak overcooked Mac and cheese cold, sweet potato and butter rolls delicious. Splurged with a seasonal alcoholic beverage it was delicious. Our waiter and the hostess were both friendly and helpful. Music in dining room is loud but I guess that's the atmosphere. My family enjoyed their meals with no complaints.

They are definitely best for their steaks and also do a pretty good job cooking it to your liking.. def consider ordering baked potato as a side - even better with sour cream and bacon! Been her lots of times. The prime rib is so good one of my favorites..This time I ordered the ribeye and so did my friend. It was very good.The green beans are one of my favorites as a side. They have bacon and onions in them. The loaded potatoes are always yummy aswell.Definitely recommend checking them out. They always have good steaks.

I love Texas Roadhouse 😋I have never had a bad meal at any of them. At this one my husband and I shared the Porterhouse steak and both of us got a side salad and a side of rice and My friend and I both got a Margarita. Everything was delicious The drinks were a bit pricey and the bartender a little confused on how we wanted them made. Our waitress was on her 2nd day and did a great job honestly. We will definitely go back.

We went to eat steak as a party of two and ordered a 12 oz New York strip and an 11 oz hand-cut sirloin. The mushroom and onions were awesome. We ordered medium rare, but the steak turns out to be more like medium, which was not ideal so I would try ordering rare next time for the medium rare texture. The mashed potatoes with brown gravy was especially delicious. Would come again!

I have been to allot of Texas Roadhouse house restaurants. I spent thousands with them over the years over many states. I never been to one where you wait for a table then when your called you wait in another line to wait again. Like I'm at a asumement park ride. Weird. Like they weren't ready for you but want you to feel like they were. The bread was definitely off. No buttery coating. Very plain. Not like the other locations I visited. Waitress was good but hostess older woman was bad. No personality.

Even though the service feels scripted, it's usually pretty good. It's the food that needs to chill in the salt. I'm down for flavor any day. OVERSALTED is not a flavor I'm interested in. I wish they would change up their menu beyond oil and salt. They've become the TEMU Outback Steakhouse.

So sad to say this but Texas Roadhouse has become a bad food statistic. So everytime we order the chilly, its chilly smh... They dont keep it on a regulated temperature. The ribs made my husband sick and I ordered the chicken tender/fritter salad and the chicken was cold. Every visit has been disappointing and it sucks cause we love / loved this place

The service was ok and the atmosphere was good but the food was not. First, we got the appetizers right away but waited 40+ mins for our food to come out! Appetizer was somewhat cold and the steaks didn’t really have a taste and kinda chewy, both sirloin and bone-in 20 oz. Grill shrimps, corn and chili was pretty good but Steak fries were kinda old and too soggy. Bread and butter was the best part of our dinner!

wait time is ridiculous. Got there 1 hour after opening. Was told 10 to 15 minutes. One hour later we were called in.

We live in cortland, so we have to drive to get Texas Roadhouse. So we choose Ithaca,, a few weeks ago we drove over for some take out to bring home, picked up, drove home to find that we didn’t get a side salad, today we wanted some Texas Roadhouse took a drive over, ordered online, curbside, picked up drove home and BAM!! NO FRIES WITH MY MJ CHICKEN SANDWICH AND NO SIDE OF RANCH that i ordered,, very upset Ted, especially driving all that way and back,👎🏻

Ithaca Texas Roadhouse would have been the best restaurant if they change the person on the front desk. She greeted us very rudely and was acting like we were a nuisance because we had a big company of people.

I was so disappointed that my friend was not allowed to be seated & wait for me to get done with work at Goodwill, within 10 mins (literally behind the restaurant). What? Why not? She left so disappointed. We will not be going to the restaurant again anytime soon.

Texas Roadhouse has always been my favorite place for a good steak and great service, especially here in Ithaca. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. The steak I ordered was by far the worst I’ve ever had, lacking the flavor I’ve come to expect. I truly hope this was just an off night, because I’ve always loved this place and want to keep coming back for the quality I know they can deliver.

horrible food. Ordered the prime rib. It came out rare (ordered medium). Sent it back. Next piece had 8 ounces of fat and 4 ounces of Flavorless meat. Three different managers asked us how our meal was and we said terrible. They did nothing to rectify it. Will not go back. Our dog spit out the gristle... he couldn't even stomach it. First of all- I have a lot of experience in the food industry, especially with customer service. I ordered a medium well steak, it was cooked rare. I told the manager (Paula, white hair” very politely when she came to our table to ask how everything was. She was very rude, said “that’s medium rare” looked at my very rudely, then walked away. I felt guilty for saying how I feel. I told our waiter, Dom, about the situation and he was wonderful he said he was so sorry and immediately fixed it. That’s how it should’ve gone with the manager. It’s embarrassing that the waiters are acting more mature and professional than the manager. Paula continued to glare at our table, lerking around. Everything else was great, our waiter was great. The last two times I’ve been here I check in at the front and then watch as people walk in and almost immediately get seated. Both times after waiting 20-30 minutes I go up and ask how long it will be and get seated immediately ??? So were you just not going to tell me? Clearly the system isn’t working

Food was average, a bit salty but I was satisfied with my meal. Found the service lacking but it was a weekend night filled with college students. Hostess was overwhelmed but communication was still poor. We asked how long was the wait she replied we could seat you guys and vaguely waved to just wait over there. Not realizing we were just waiting in line behind other couples. At the end of the dinner we I asked our waiter about the “heroes discount” that’s advertised for 20% off on Tuesday but 10% any other night she lied to us and said “it’s not Tuesday we don’t do that.” She dropped the bill off and left before I could say anything back. When she returned for the bill I showed her the laminated card that’s on the table reiterating that we still get a 10% discount on every other day besides Tuesday and she changes her tune, takes the card away, and say “oh yeah I could do that for you.” Clearly she knew about it but didn’t want to give a discount.

Last night for my birthday 🎂 dinner was the worst experience I have ever had at Texas Roadhouse. We did the wait list online. We checked in to the list, it said the wait was 15-20 minutes. After waiting the suggested time, I made my way to the stand to see how much longer it would be. The woman explained that it would be another 15 -20 minutes wait. There was 10 tables in head of us. Which was disappointing . 😞 When it finally was our time to get a table, I was unsure why the wait time was so long since we walked by 5 empty tables. Once we were seated in a corner table. I was hopeful the night would have gone better but it did not. A few tables a way a group of people were intoxicated, screaming and yelling so loud that my table couldn't even talk to each other or hear our waitress. Our waitress was rude and anytime we asked for something it felt like we had to justify why we wanted more water or bread.

It seems that TRH only honors veterans on their own terms. They couldn’t change their hours on Veterans Day so a veteran could enjoy a leisurely lunch instead of fighting the crowds at dinner time. I’m NEVER going back there.

I am never eating here again or any Texas Roadhouse restaurant. I came here and ordered a steak and chicken, the very next day (at the time of this review it’s been about a week) I’ve been having horrible diarrhea, gut discomfort, and nausea. I have no allergies, or anything along those lines. Thanks to this wonderful restaurant I’ve most likely received food poisoning or some food borne sickness was transmitted to me. (Keep in mind I haven’t had a serious illness in years) I am sincerely considering visiting the ER since it was has been over a week and my condition is worsening. Eat here at the risk of your toilets well being.

One of my favorite restaurants in Ithaca and I enjoyed this place very much unfortunately on 12/22 me and my family didn’t had a good time. Worker that was in the front desk was rude, not respectful and kept yelling at us even if we stood right next to her. She yelled with annoyed face expression made my family and my guests uncomfortable. She wouldn’t let us sit because our two friends were literally on their way and if we went to sit down she wouldn’t let them in. We never had this kind of situation in Texas Roadhouse. She was rude to us but also to other customers. When we sat down the bread was missing and the customer service was terrible. Our birthday night was ruined because of her attitude as if she was annoyed by us.

I typically never review restaurants as I am in the service industry as well. I want to preface this by saying that our server was amazing!! He did absolutely no wrong at all. The hosts were also so very nice. I went to the restaurant the night of Nov. 24th. Everything was fine when we were there, nothing tasted off or anything. I got home and had the worst food poisoning i’ve ever experienced. I was honestly fighting for my life. I’m not sure what gave me it, if it was the meat, or cheese.. I know it’s from here because that’s all I ate that day. As much as I hate to say all of this, I want to help others not have the same problem and hopefully the restaurant will look in to it.
