My husband and I got the lamb over rice bowl, and it was very good! Closest to NYC Gyro I’ve found in Florida. We’ve been in Florida for 4 years and have lived both north and south Florida, nothing has come close except this. They give a very generous portion of gyro meat, over rice with chopped salad on the side. They were also very generous with the sauces. I’m not into spicy sauces, but if I was, I’d love their green sauce, and everyone loves the white sauce who tries it. I got ours on the side but will get on top next time! Besides the food, the owners were incredibly kind! This place was empty which is shocking since it was so good! Hopefully more people come out to try it!

Godddammm this shit is really delicious took my stomachpain away. I ordered chicken over rice and buffalo garlic chicken (comes with fries). The rice is everything i needed they got lettuce tomatoes cucumbers onions pickles banana pepper with a specialty sauce they got mix it all up boom perfection of flavors. I haven't got to the buffalo chicken cause their portions are very generous and still finishing it up. Waiting time was only around 10mins and warm and fresh. Great customer service they even delivered and wrapped my food in a bag to my car. 10000000/10 recommended 👌

I’ve visited this food truck three times now, and I must say it’s a fantastic Mediterranean spot in Jacksonville. Their chicken over rice is incredibly tasty, and all the ingredients are fresh and of great quality. The combination of white sauce and hot sauce hits the spot every time! The host is excellent, and I love the hospitality we receive every time we’re there. The service is quick, and they are kind enough to customize the bowl to suit your preferences. This is a must-try place for anyone looking for Mediterranean cuisine. It feels similar to Halal Guys in NYC.

**Food Wow of Jacksonville Review** Food Wow of Jacksonville truly exceeded my expectations. My wife and I ordered two mix bowls with a side of pita, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My wife had the lamb and chicken with sauce on the side, while I enjoyed the beef/gyro meat and chicken combination. The proteins paired perfectly with the yellow basmati rice, tomato, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, pickles, and white sauce. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I added their house-made hot sauce, which took the flavors to a whole new level. The heat cut through the richness of the white sauce and complemented the pickles and banana peppers beautifully. Though I initially found the white sauce to be slightly sweet, it still blended well with the overall dish. Personally, I prefer the Lebanese-style white sauce, Toum. The pita was buttery and the ideal vessel to carry and marry all the ingredients together. Overall, in my opinion, Food Wow of Jacksonville offers affordable halal rice bowls that don't skimp on flavor. They also have American offerings such as wings, burgers, and fries, and based on how well the bowls were done, I'm sure these options will be exceptional as well.

I can't stop coming here. The food is so delicious 😍🥰😍. Also the customer service and the atmosphere. They are very welcoming😊 Every time I come from NC I have to come several times. God bless their business. I love the chicken over rice.

We were passing through and looking for something to eat rather on the fast food side. When I googled restaurants, the reviews on this place caught our attention, I could not but stop by! It was totally worth it! We loved the food and the children enjoyed it also! We have ordered a Gyro sandwich, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, two Mix over rice, Wings, and two burgers * burgers and wings came with fries. All my family agreed to stop by here again when we go through Jacksonville next time!

We order from here frequently the food is consistently excellent, fresh, the burgers, Philly cheese steak, meat over rice all worth trying. Service is excellent too, if you are considering it you really must try won’t regret it. Can dine in cute seating area that is cool and breezy in the evenings.

Wow let me tell you, coming back from the Middle East I missed some good authentic food. This place gives a nice cozy vibe where to enjoy sit and indulge in authentic middle eastern food. The food is SUPER FRESH and bursting with flavor. The staff is remarkably friendly as well always having a smile on their face. Food Wow is my go to lunch spot!

Food is great. I’m New York so I know all about great tasting Halal food. Food is fresh(made to order) it’s not just sittin around on the stove. U gonna have to wait 10-15mins for your food to be made fresh for u. I’ll b a returning customer for sure. This is my 2nd trip to this location in 7days😋😋❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽 look how deep that plate is omfg!!! I spent 15$ with a drink. We’ll worth it

I'm not going to lie... I visited today around 1:30 for the first time. I figured it would have been busy right when they opened at 1. I came because of the 5 star reviews and I'm left wondering about a lot of things. So I tried the mix lamb/chicken over rice with hot sauce on the side. Also, got the philly with fries. The bowl was just ok. My problem was it wasn't very hot. In fact I don't believe my meat was fresh. It also looks like it's a lot of meat but the rice was piled high. But the meat was visibly dried out, both of them but the chicken was worse, it was just "covered" in sauce. Taste was ok, not over the top good which is what the reviews gave. The philly & fries were the only hot items. I threw half the bread on the philly away because it was all vegetables- the meat ratio was off. However the meat in this item was good. I was the only customer and the young lady was very pleasant... I even told her it was my first time and she told me to let her know if I needed anything and she was glad to see me. Nice experience with service. Overall I think they missed the mark on my order, and I'm not certain I'd return. I'm one of those I'll just make it at home folks because it usually tastes better, but I do love finding gems to eat at on occasion. I was hoping this was one considering all the perfect reviews.
