Came in for lunch and ordered a regular sized lobster roll. Waited only a few minutes for it to come out. Bread was soft and buttery. The lobster tasted great. I wish lobster wasn't so expensive as this would be great to eat more often. The decor was cool and had a New England feel. I'll probably be back to try other menu items.

I agree with a lot of reviewers of the portion of the food. Also the soda machines seems to always be broken or so. I find that the quality is getting more less & less.

I’ve been wanting to try lobster rolls for a while, and when I happened to be in the area, decided to stop by Maine-ly Sandwiches. Ordered the regular lobster rolls with extra meat. While I agree with many of other reviews that the prices are on the higher end, I don’t mind paying more if the quality matches, and in this case, the lobster was indeed fresh, with a nice sweet flavor and a pleasantly chewy texture. Overall, it was a satisfying lobster roll and worth trying if you’re nearby. That said, it wasn’t particularly special to the point where I’d make a dedicated trip just for it. I’d be happy to return if I’m in the area again, but it’s more of a solid local option rather than a destination spot.

We visited for the first time. Definitely recommend. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. The bread was soft but had a nice buttery crust and the lobster was fresh and tasty. Will be back.

Good food, but a little pricey. The chicken salad sandwich is really tasty and refreshing and the apples/walnuts give it a nice a crunch. I LOVED the Lobster Mac and cheese, it was so creamy and silky, but don't think it had enough lobster for the price. Lobster roll is also pretty good, but a little pricey. It's definitely a treat your self kind of restaurant.

While out and about for work I noticed this place and mention to wife about trying for lunch, we arrive and the place was empty but it was a bit after lunch. We order the small lobster roll with extra meat. The bread was perfectly toasted and buttery, the lobster was tossed in a lightly flavored sauce. Lobster is served cold and bread is warm. This was the best things we order from this establishment 8/10. We felling love with another establishments take on roll with warm lobster and toasted buttery bread. We ordered the shrimp basket and the shrimp was seasoned to perfection but tiny. Not sure if this is normal but for almost 70$ for 3 items and drinks . Seems like the shrimp should be larger . Crinkle cut fries are your typical Sysco fry you get everywhere else . Cole slaw was crisp and yummy . The crab bisque soup was lacking flavor , normally a bisque is thick and creamy but this one seamed like they tried to stretch it out , was watery and clumpy. Maybe soup of the day is get rid of the old soup? Almost flavor less in my opinion. I love a good bisque but this is far from it. Not sure if I would give this place another try , staff was friendly and helpful. Place was clean .

Walked in at 9 pm, between two people we ordered 4 things, all totaling to a cost of $60. Our order included: the Lobster Bisque, Mac & Cheese with Lobster, Lobster roll, and finally a Crab roll. The Mac & cheese was cafeteria quality, the lobster on top was good but a measly portion. The Lobster Bisque was horrible, an oily concoction accompanied by a terrible after taste. My Lobster roll tasted more like mayo than it did lobster. The Crab roll was a little bit more flavorful and had less mayo. The bread on both sandwiches was AMAZING. Probably the only above average thing I had. For the price I think this place is incredibly over-rated. Nonetheless, the atmosphere was nice, it was clean, and the food (albeit not to my taste) was edible. A very weak 3/5.

Stopped by for lunch on the way back to work. Was super excited but after having real lobster rolls/bisque in Maine, it was a little disappointing. The bread was delicious, lobster was fresh, but lacked seasoning. The lobster bisque was thick like a chowder (too thick) with a little lump of lobster in the middle.

They changed the lobster roll recipe. I always came here for their lobster roll but over the past year, it's no longer like a ''salad'' inside the bun (used to have like a mayo sauce with some herbs or veggie seasoning, more moist, bigger chunks/M'ainiac roll, and NO black pepper on top). Now, the lobster is still coated in a bit of ''mayo'' topped by some dry bits of lobster, and black pepper?!!! Please, bring back the old recipe & get that moist lobster you used to serve. Customers know their food ^_^ The shaved ice was alright, I wish it was more smooth flakes of ice instead of adding pure syrup to straight, hard ice chips but still I enjoyed it as a reminiscence of childhood treat. P.S Please, update the misleading prices on the very top of the menu board. Prices are steep.

This places sucks! Drove 20 minutes to get some whole belly fried clams. They are listed on their website. On the menu in the restaurant. But haven’t been served since 2020 according to the waitstaff taking orders. Walked out extremely upset as clams was the only reason we made the trip out. Update, Based on the owner's response decided to give them a second try. This time when to the new Sawyer Yards location. Called again and they did indeed have whole clams. Finding fried clams in Houston has always been a challenge so I always just savor my visits to New England more. I will say that the fried clams were pretty good but not as fresh as they could have been and a bit on the small side. The biggest disappointment was the size of the order. I know clams and expect to pay a premium. In New England a quart box is typically $35 so wasn't surprised by the $37.44 price tag. But have to say was surprised by the amount of clams I received for the price. Left feeling like I should asked if I got the small size by mistake. On the plus side my wife's fish and chips were a great value.

Helpful and friendly staff. Lobster rolls are delish😋 I get a plain roll (no mayo) extra meat ($5 xtra) because I don’t think there is enough meat without adding it, and drizzle warm butter on top. The lobster is cold so the warm butter helps raise the temperature a bit. The bread needs to be warmer too. Sweet potato fries are very good too.

Terribly expensive and small portions, for a less than mediocre lobster roll. Clam chowder is also nothing to note, and also pretty expensive(it taste like canned clam chowder). Save your money, time , and taste buds.

Ordered on Uber Eats. The size of the lobster roll is ridiculous. I attached a picture for reference. It is the size of 2 ketchup packets. The lobster also does not taste like real lobster. I just got dry lobster on a dry bun, despite asking The fries are below subpar. Soggy and salt less. I asked for them extra crispy and still got soggy fries. Coleslaw was not good, watery, yet somehow slimey. I asked for red velvet whoopie pies and they gave me mini chocolate whoopie pies. Only giving 2 stars because the bread on the roll was good and the whoopie pies were good.

Maybe it’s because I went at night and got it to-go, but the food was not that good?? I asked what was most popular, and they mentioned the lobster roll and the lobster bisque. The lobster roll was okay, definitely overpriced. There really wasn’t much meat in the sandwich. The lobster bisque was like congealed?? Just a weird consistency, maybe like velveeta or something?? The place is cute, but with the food not being great, I don’t think I’d go back. Oh, I also had a couple pieces of shell that I found while chewing :(

This is not a true lobster roll. It tasted old, the lobster was rubbery and not sweet. It was probably refrigerated to long. Not worth the money or the drive.

Wow. I was so excited to order there for the first time. Unfortunately, the lobster sandwich came dry. No sauce. No butter. No taste. Just dry lobster on dry bread. The lobster doesn't taste real either. I was so disappointed with them. Ugh!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First, we were hit with a service charge—without any notice. We only discovered it after paying and checking the receipt ourselves. Then we were prompted to tip on top of that. And just when we thought we were done, they tacked on a credit card fee. The food wasn’t terrible, but nothing on that menu is worth all the hidden charges. And the kicker? There’s no real service. You order at the counter, grab your own drinks, and they barely bring the food out—when they do, it’s at completely different times. Honestly, I don’t even know why I tipped... but I did.
