I come here quite often because all the dishes have been prepared freshly using fresh ingredients. Fruits are always good too. Customer services have always been great. It is a popular lunch place in the area and yet tables and booths are far enough to maintain proper social distancing. With food quality better than most of the higher priced places, I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised on my return to star china(6yrs) . I remember I stop going for a reason... We happened to walk in around 2:30 and it got real busy around 3. Fresh line of food was tasty. Make sure you stop by at the time a lunch/dinner crowd is around so everything is fresh.

I guess it's a typical buffet, but a lot of the meat was very dry, either because of being overcooked or left under the heat lamps too long, or a combination. The spring rolls fall apart very easily. The service is exceptional, it's very clean, fun, and laid back. It's great for a family! Things that are fried are very oily. The vegetables have way too much butter.

Wanted something besides burgers or tacos so I came by for lunch. Food had been sitting on the buffet for awhile so it wasn't great. Lots of options and I'm sure when it's fresh it's much better.

Wait staff was extremely attentive, nice and friendly. The food was a bit on the salty side but otherwise it was okay. None of the selections seemed to stand out much. However, they were pretty busy with what seemed to be a majority of blue collar customers that really enjoyed going back to the steam tables for 2nd and 3rds!

Oh brother lol, this is not the vibe. I really wanted to try the raw oysters, but even my adventurous self thought it ill advised to go for buffet raw oysters. The food is very hit and miss, some tasty, most not. The service is good though and they do have beer.

This place has good options but everything is very dirty. There was cockroach on the ice cream cones . When I told them, they just removed the cockroach and left the cones at the same place so people can use it. The customer service is also good. When I ate here , my lips started getting swollen and now it’s infected because of there utensils. Please keep your restaurant clean. I will not pursue this but if you guys get the right person sick, you guys can get suited and you will have to pay alot of money, when you can just spend a little to clean everything properly.

I thought this would be our family spot and I thought wrong. We ate here Christmas Day and it was great! We normally go to the location on 1960. However, this one location is closer to home. So my husband said let’s go out to eat with way better other options we’ve could’ve gone but because Christmas Day was a great experience, we decided let’s go eat estar. Well, we arrived a little after 7 and maybe two other families were there and one other person. I guess after 7 and because they close at 9:30 they stop bringing out hot food. The food was cold, some of the meats and garlic bread were hard and dry. The plate I made was cold and I put it to the side. I wasn’t taking the chance to get sick. However, my husband and kids ate what they could but complained. I told our waiter about the cold food and he told the manager who did absolutely nothing.. But then tried to stir the food around thinking that would resolve the matter. Then I started to smell cleaning products and people were still eating. There were a family with a small baby that sat near the kitchen area where the fumes were coming from. We as well had our small 10 month old. These people have no business being here running a business.. my husband still paid $104 for the crappy food and the unpleasant service. I normally would complain and ask for some type of compensation but my husband said not to worry and stated we will never come here again. The manager was not at all sympathetic nor did try to make it right. I do not recommend this place AT ALL, especially after 7. They have cold stale food and they start cleaning while you’re sitting and try to eat. I see now why reviews are low. Go to the 1960 location near willow brook mall. Never had an issue, it’s worth the drive.

The servers are friendly enough, if you can get past the glaring or side glances. The food was good the first two times we came here but after that, it downgraded terribly. The LAST time we came, we decided to tip because why not, good may have been the equivalent to slosh but the service was kindly enough— they overcharged us by $20. The tip was just enough to round up the bill, where the $20 came from? Beats me. They used to be better, now it is just a must-skip diner.

Service was good, food was way below average. Stupid expensive for 3rd rate wholesale food stuffs. I will not be returning. 17.00 for a 10 year old girl? 100.00 for 1 adult and 5 kids is ridiculous. I can take them to Outback or Saltgrass for less money and much better food. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Besides having the worst customer service experience ever; the food was HORRIBLE. I understand most people are over COVID but there are some of us experiencing sickness 😷 and could use a little extra protection in a buffet line. I asked for a disposable glove. Not one person was able to glove but also treated my family and I with no regard while trying roenjou the food. I asked questions due to food allergies to be then dismissed and uninformed. At this point, I can no longer enjoy my food as I am not sure what I may actually be eating. P.S. If you suffer from any type of allergen that is food related, so not eat here, they treat you like you have a disease. I'lta been a while since I've felt so unsafe eating at a buffet.
