We ventured over here from Wilmington/Lake Placid area. It was a beautiful drive with a bucolic vibe. We ordered a couple of flights to sample and sat out on the lawn. Some of our picks; North Country Common (amber ale), Strawberry Rhubarb Brette (sour) Idaho 7 IPA, Hufflepuff (hefeweizen) Cultivator (black IPA) and Full Cord (double IPA). You could smell the BBQ cooking in the background, it was quite lovely, even though we didn't eat. Loved the Strawberry Rhubarb Brette. It was refreshing on a hot day. We loved all the IPA's, too.

Beautiful place to enjoy some local craft beers. The atmosphere will have you wanting to stay all day, and into the evening.

This is really cool - definitely very rustic, but a great summer spot. They have great beers and even a couple homemade sodas. The brewery doesn't offer food, but there's a food truck on site that has delicious grilled cheese and waffle fries. Bathrooms are only porta-potties, but at least there's an outdoor sink to use. Great spot for kids and adults alike!

Relaxed atmosphere, nice music and a diverse range of beer styles make this a must visit when we’re in the area. Recent faves are Muddle, a bourbon barrel aged brew and the seasonal strawberry rhubarb Brett, made with locally-grown rhubarb. We also really like Dubs BBQ, the food truck that is frequently there.

My wife and I really enjoyed it here. Our dog had a good time meeting some other pups. And honestly, I think the Idaho 7 might be one of the best IPAs I've ever had in my life. Almost brought a tear to my eye. I didn't have any of the barbecue this time around, but it did smell delicious and everyone else seemed to be enjoying it. Highly recommend if I'm ever back in the area I'll make an effort to come back.

We love this little brewery. We wandered in on a Friday afternoon several years ago and immediately were hooked. The beer is outstanding, the atmosphere is perfect, and we look forward to every return visit. You NEED to check this place out. It tends to be jammed in the summer. I recommend a June or September visit. Bring the family and plan to stay for a while. They often have live bands and food trucks.

Hands down one of the best brewery (if not THE best brewery) on the Adirondack Coast. Great beer, good music, friendly atmosphere, and community minded. Yes it's a brewery but there is more outdoor room than one might expect. Dogs on leashes only.

A worthy "destination brewery" even if it looks a bit out of your way. This is a great spot to hit if you're going to Ausable Chasm, and worth going out of your way even if you're driving through in any direction. The beer is terroir beer based lots of local things and has a crew that is definitely into brewing as a passion and love to take time to talk to anyone about anything - but especially beer.

We made the trip here twice in one weekend. Once to get tickets for the eclipse viewing and once more for the actual eclipse day. Their beer, cider and soda are just fantastic. The family had a great time. The folks at this place made sure we were taken care of, comfortable and entertained. This means a lot to a family and we will be forever grateful for the experience. When we talk about once in a lifetime experiences, ausable brewery will forever be part of our vocabulary.

This visit in August 2023 included some rockin' live music from a band with a drummer who vaguely resembled Squirrely Dan. Does it get any better than this?

I personally loved the Hufflepuff Hefeweizen since it was super light and perfect for the summer. They offer food on certain days, so I would definitely check their website for the schedule. I would return again if I’m in the area.

We got a hat as a souvenir for this really nice moment. So all in all, please go visit this place, you won’t regret it !

Some breweries have similar notes and finishes from brew to brew. Ausable Brewing has a very different feel with an acute attention to detail for the broad palate of what they offer, even with their n/a offerings of ginger soda and root beer. The owners are very chill and down to earth people; which blends into the atmosphere of their outdoor/indoor seating areas. Hanging out here you get gorgeous views of being in a lush outdoor environment small towns offer. There’s lots of outdoor space to roam around for dogs and kids as well as patrons. The clientele that comes through are generally the laid back population that has no intention of causing a ruckus. Definitely a place to try when visiting the area.

Great beers and vibe! This is a laid back fun place! The staff were very knowledgeable about the beers and the drinking area is so cute! We had live music to listen to also! The only reason for the 4 stars is the bathroom facilities and the lack of food. We would for sure come back again though!

Great place, good service and ambiance, but we didn't really like any of the 4 beers in our flight which should've been the main attraction. The blackcurrant sour was our great hope but it was way overdone. If it makes your face pucker, it's too sour. We're big fans of sours and it's what we drink the most often nowadays, not a first timer's surprise.

Stopped last weekend with family visiting from out of town. First time back to ABC in about 3 years. We were disappointed. It's kind of sad to see it declining because they came out of the gate so strong in the beginning. Beer was flat. The worst part was the employee eating a bowl of noodles at the register and wiping her mouth with her hand just before she grabbed a glass to get my beer. A violation of health department regulations I'm sure. Sorry Badgers, it ain't what it used to be.

Not the brewery's fault but due to Coronavirus the atmosphere is lacking. So sad because it was such an active, fun place to be. Let's hope things get back to normal for next summer.
