Outstanding Seafood Experience in Key West I recently dined at Grand Cafe in Key West, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and treated to exceptional service by our server, Ivan. Ivan’s knowledge of the menu and his passion for delivering a top-notch dining experience stood out immediately. He recommended the freshest seafood options, and every single one was a winner. Truffle shrimp penne and Whole baked branzino was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor, and delicious cocktails was the best I’ve ever had. What really made the evening special was Ivan’s attention to detail. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and his friendly yet professional demeanor made us feel completely at home. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed yet vibrant, capturing the unique charm of Key West. Combined with the outstanding seafood and Ivan’s exceptional service, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Grand Cafe Key West Is Very Good! The food was delicious. The interior is decorated beautifully. There’s a bar; with a TV to watch sports. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Without doubt I recommend Grand Cafe Key West because it’s phenomenal! Have a great day!

Outstanding dinner at the Grand Cafe! NYE menu included several fantastic selections for each course. Each was prepared perfectly and Jarrod took such great care of us. Extensive cocktail menu and wine list was also impressive. The atmosphere on the front porch was perfect for a romantic NYE dinner. Best restaurant in Key West!

Everything was delicious. We had the red curry with seabass and the chicken. Both superb. The Tahitian vanilla creme brûlée for desert was fantastic, as well as the key lime pie. Service was great and they did not mind the fact that we had our cat with us. Highly recommended - we will definitely be back.

6/2/22 - Dinner - While the restaurant was a bit quiet (6:30 PM) the food and the service was awesome! Our server (Ivan I think) was super attentive and friendly. The menu is a bit on the pricey side but so we’ll worth it! We will for sure be back when we are back in town!

The food was just amazing!! I enjoyed my seafood pasta ! The key lime pay and tiramisu was spectacular! Good service and nice atmosphere!! Enjoy!!! Super recomendado!!

Dinner at this establishment will never disappoint. Excellent selection of wines and cocktails. Amazing food and service. Our waiter Zulia was simply excellent. She helped us with the choice of wine and appetizers. The service was excellent. I highly recommend visiting and request her like a server. She will make you dinner special. I would like to say thank manager of the restaurant for having such an amazing and attentive staff like Zulia.

Awesome atmosphere, great people watching place, you should make reservations. We ordered the grand lobster entree. There was a sweet aftertaste due to the balsamic reduction. I wouldn’t order it again because I like lemon, butter, capers sauce. The key west pie was awesome and service was incredible.

Happy hour is the best deal. 4 to 6 pm half off small plates and drinks.

Great happy hour and excellent food. The tuna tartare and crab cakes were wonderful. The drinks were also pretty good. The atmosphere is on the classy side and the prices outside happy hour are a bit high, but it is worth it.

Great place to dine. Had a great evening and dinner. Tye food was spectacular and so was the service!

This review is for the wonderful Casablanca like bar in the back of the hotel. Very private and quiet with fabulous drinks. You will meet the most interesting people.

We’ve been there on sunday night, food was amazing and also the drinks. Our server, Makarena, was super sweet and atentive. Can’t wait to come back to Kw and stop by the grande cafe!

Grand Cafe great place to have dinner. The atmosphere and staff are great . Food excellent… the branzino so delicious … and the burger too . We had a great time and mostly a delicious food .

We love this place. Discovered it last year on our first trip to Key West and decided to come again. We’re not disappointed. Food was excellent. Whole baked branzino and fried yellowtail snapper were delicious. We will certainly go back!

Quite simply, this place was great across the board. The drinks were excellent (nobody makes a better dirty martini). The food was very tasty and well presented (the roasted duck is fantastic). Service was very good. Our waiter was engaging and very helpful. The prices are on the high side, but this place is definitely a notch or two above the typical Key West eatery. We made a reservation as it was Christmas day, but it seems that it would be a good idea anytime. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.

I have been dining here for 20 years. As always I had a wonderful meal. Jerry the bartender was great. What’s so unique about this place is that you feel like your in a friends home. You get that with the comfortable environment and service. Not to mention the food. There is something here for everyone. If it’s a nice day definitely sit outside.

The Grand Cafe went above and beyond to provide an amazing rehearsal dinner for my family. Maria, the owner, made it easy from start to finish, from menu options to making her restaurant a welcoming place for everyone. The service and the food were excellent. Thank you Maria, Shannon (server) and all of the staff for a nice evening.

Are outside at the restaurant and my wife had a good view of Duval, I did not. There was complimentary bread with oil and vinegar. We shared crab cakes which were just good. My wife enjoyed the chicken and I had sirloin steak with lobster tail which was prepared as ordered. Key Lime pie for desert was not as good as what I’ve had in Canada. The atmosphere was really nice and inside looks very interesting and artistic. The bar looks like a cozy fun place for couples or friends. I would go to the bar if I ever get back to Key West. The staff were not warm, just doing a job.

Went here for date night. The outside dining and porch area is great with awesome umbrellas and lights. Indoor dining as well with a bar in the back. Service was pretty slow but the food was great. Took a bit of time to get drinks and bread for the table. Bruschetta appetizer was delicious and only $10 (3 pieces of bread). We got the blackened mahi mahi which was super fresh and a big portion. The burger was also great and cooked perfectly. Overall a good dinner for $100, but service could’ve been a bit more attentive

Central location, right on Duval Street-the life line of Key West.. Good roasted duck and uncontential tomato cream lobster penne. Key lime pie is good . However it would had been nicer with a harder crust. This place is under-staffed. Our server looked rushed when we tried to ask some questions.

I got the branzino and a negroni. The first was ok. It was quite fresh, but I guess I'm used to it being prepared differently. I very much appreciate that the chef seemed to have complete command of the flavor profile of the fish. The caper berries enhanced the flavor of the fish exquisitely, the selection of vegetables were tasteful, and the flavor of the fish seeped into the basmati rice. The negroni, however, was unbalanced in my opinion. This is the first time I haven't been able to finish a cocktail because the taste offended my senses. I don't recommend the bartender or at least that drink. I liked the interior of the place. It has a clean and prestigious vibe to it that makes it a nice date venue option.

The food was great. Was wonderful place to take out catch and they cooked it. The location is wonderful center of Key West fun and nightlife as well. Service was mediocre not much effort made mistakes.

Had dinner tonight, and the meal was pretty good. The burschetta was great. I had the braised beef, which was pretty good, and my wife had the chicken, which was okay. The desserts were a but disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience, and the outdoor patio was very nice with the fans.

Small plates on table were "spotty" like something splashed. Servers were not uniform in professionalism, some in nice pants, some in jeans and t-shirts. Presentation of food was good. The mussels were tasty and spicy as advertised, but about 4 of them were served in cracked shells, or not opened. Location is perfect, I will definitely be back, May have just been an off day

The Grand Cafe is a beautiful building with patio dining and an elegant inside dining room. The food was delicious! We've eaten here before and enjoyed ourselves. We chose it last night because we had tickets for the Red Barn Theater across the street. We sat inside this time. It was quiet and intimate. No one disturbed us, not even our waitress, Paola (unsure of spelling), who took forever to bring a menu, never introduced herself or welcomed us, eventually brought our wine and took our order, forgot our 2nd glass until we were done with our meal. I let her know she forgot our wine,she was "oh, I'll get it now..." Excuse me, no. Bring the check. BTW, that 15% tip was statement not a mistake!

Way down at the bottom of the menu, you'll find Red curry with vegetables, the only vegan option on offer. Sadly, that's the best you can do in Key West, so this was actually a great find and the curry was really tasty (but could use a little tofu). Sit right on Duval Street on a cozy front porch and enjoy. Great wine list and drink selection.

We ate dinner here, a party of 4. The food was decent, I had the seafood pasta, not spectacular but good. It contained 3 shrimp, 3 mussels, 1 scallop and 1 very small lobster tail. It needed more seafood! My wife had the Mahi which was very good. The waitstaff was just okay, not much engagement or dialogue. What makes the place is the wonderful ambiance.

Food and atmosphere was very. Sat outside for dinner on a Sunday. Great food a d people watching. Service was poor to say the least. Server checked on us maybe three ti.es, and we had to flag her down for more drinks &bill.

It's okay, the location is nothing special. Service is below average, not much attention to details and the mise en place is non-existent. Fried calamari are good even though they're served with a sauce that has no clear connection to the plate. The burger is good but something more can be done about the fries. Key lime pie was fine but nothing special. Price above average.

Fancy place and good service , Belen was super nice with us , cute girl! The menu has to improve , the mussels small portions and some few empties, the grand salad was X lettuce cucumber and some balsamic nothing special or different and the time … same. With this great space you can find someone to creat a menu shorted but more elaborated ! I hope you accept an advice!

Sat down a little after 6 fast. Didn't get meal until close to 8. Not worth the wait with not a single sorry or explanation and definitely not worth the price. Food wasn't bad but definitely wasn't great. Won't be coming back here again. To many choices that are actually good in key west to visit here again.

My husband and I got here just after 5pm on a Tuesday evening. It took over 2 hours to eat. Service was extremely slow. Food was fresh. Portions small. We waited 35 minutes for a piece of key lime pie that never came. We canceled the order just so we could get our check and go.

The bald waiter was shockingly rude and aggressive, the food was overcooked, and when we complained the manager was completely useless and unapologetic. For the prices they charge, this place is a joke. There are far better restaurants in Key West — avoid Grand Café

On the outside, the restaurant is cute. The menu looks wonderful. We split a meal and it was our most expensive dinner the entire trip. The surf and turf (steak and lobster) were dry and had no flavor. The Cesar salad was decent. Definitely wish we would have found another restaurant that was way better for our last night.

The service was awful. We were a table of three. Then they added an 18% gratuity to the check brought to the table. Then brought the credit card signature ticket over with a line item to add gratuity again. This is an apparent scam they perpetrate hopefully getting guests to not notice the first 18% gratuity likely added to all tickets. Don’t go here. There are plenty of other legitimate restaurants on Duvall.
