This was the cleanest and most refreshing Dennys I have ever been to. Miss Monica was great, the bathrooms were super clean.

They have gotten a bit pricey. If we hadn't eaten the breakfast special and drank water, we'd have spent over $30 on breakfast. Coffee is now $3.50 so avoided that. I realize the cost of food has increased, but the sharp increase seems excessive.

I had the pleasure of dining here May 28, 2024, around 4:00 p.m. It was a chance decision, I just thought I would get an early dinner before continuing on my trip home. It has been a while since I ate at a Denny’s but Brianna was most patient with me. I ended up getting both strawberry french toast and a western omelet. Although the french toast was delicious, the omelet was absolutely amazing! I have never had such a fluffy, perfectly cooked eggs, perfectly cooked filling omelet. It was so good and since it wasn’t too busy, I asked to meet the cook, Talisha. She was most pleasant. It was such a great experience overall, I asked for the manager. I wanted to make sure to give credit where due. I will definitely stop here again! And the leftovers were good when I got home!

I am not sure, if this is a lucky day or just very well run establishment, but I have eaten at Denny's 35 or 40 times in the past 6 months and the one I just ate at today is by far an anomaly. This Denny's is clean, the service was fast, the food was stellar way above and beyond the standards of most Denny's. I would give this store a 15 star review if available. Had chicken dinner and partner had bourbon burger both where amazing.

i’ve never had denny’s before and this was for sure a very great experience. their sweet tea was PERFECT and had a great ratio between too sweet and not sweet. their french toast was, and i say this wholeheartedly: the best french toast i’ve ever had. no flavor overcame the others and was absolutely amazing. i’ve also never had sunny side up eggs before, so i mean it when i say they were hearty and very tasty for my first time having them. everything blended together and just melted in my mouth. our server was Serenity and she was very sweet!!! overall; everyone including the other staff such as the cook, Dewon, were very polite, and the food showed that they genuinely enjoy their jobs and put effort into their work!!!! 10/10, definitely :).

Best Denny's hands down! The food was pretty good compared to most Denny's I've been too. But the young lady named Serenity that took my order and kept checking up on me is what made it awesome. I've never had anyone in any restaurant I've been to be so attentive. I don't know who the manager of Denny's is, but she's definitely a keeper. Keep up the good work young lady.

We had absolutely great service tonight, started when we were greeted at the door. Our server Lainy was more than accommodating, as well as never let my drink get empty. As our first dinning experience at this Denny's we were welcomed by smiling faces and promptly seated. A clean and busy location but Tomi our server made our breakfast so enjoyable, she took our order, kept everything filled and tended to our needs with a smile and almost a skip in her step. The food was hot and cooked to order, although the bacon was very very thin. We will be back for sure.

Hailey was great. Hailey was very kind and accommodating to any questions I had about any food items. Hailey was very sweet and the food came out fast and Hailey gave me updates about my food constantly while waiting. On this go around I ordered the 8 oz sirloin medium-well but received it well-done. Rather than posting about it on tik tok in my car sporting blue hair, a three pound septum ring, bad neck tattoos, thirteen ill-advised piercings, and screaming hysterically about how bad anybody who isn't me is, I just ate the thing. It's Denny's. You know. My waitress was attentive in interested in customer service, so that was good. The manager regaled me with a tale of woe when it became icy and actually cold in east Texas. Since the Texas power grid is as equally stable as a central American government, Denny's was the only place with the lights on serving hot food. For the next 14 hours they served food at a fever pitch, but became tired and decided to close. No one had keys to the restaurant and so they locked the front door and exited through the rear door which locks upon closing. Problem came when they came back to reopen and didn't have keys. Therefore, alternate means to enter were thusly employed. Such a dedicated staff. God bless 'em.

Night shift just down right doesn't care. Every time I have ordered there late they've gotten my orders wrong and/or food is extremely greasy and salty like the grill hasn't been cleaned on a regular.

Useless service. Wasted time and never waited on... Followup: The management responded to my contact through corporate channels and apologized for the lack of service. We were asked to give them another try and did. Service was better, still not perfect or "great" but certainly a grand improvement on the previous time.

I was expecting more with the reviews. One of the servers was so loud in the prep area everyone heard all her personal business. The coffee was much weaker than Denny's standards. The food was good and it was cleaner than the one in Longview.

My breakfast experience would be best described as like a rollercoaster ride - ups and downs. Chris provided very good service and was friendly. Our table wobbled quite a bit. For diet drinks you only have limited options, diet Coke, tea or water (the water is very minerally tasting). My wife's tea tasted old, but the waitress said it was fresh and that it always tastes like that. The pancakes were delicious. Mine had a generous amount of fruit. The size of the bacon was disappointing to say the least. The eggs had good flavor. Our order was incorrectly made, but was promptly corrected. It's okay to put your hands down now. The ride is over. My dad I went to dine in on Christmas Day and the wait was 55 minutes for food. And our waitress was outstanding! But that is not the reason I am leaving a two star review, the reason I’m leaving a 2 star because of two girls I only got one of there names and it was Vicky. But her and another girl were staring at us in the kitchen, and then they both came out talking junk and rolling her eyes at me. And then the manager asked her to fill up coustmers coffee cups and when the manager walked off she mumbled to the girl that was by her and said “I’m not doing other people’s job, I don’t get paid to do other people’s stuff, she can fire me”. Excuse me but you work there and you are short staffed, you can help out. But on another note they didn’t do anything just stood there talking, while a young man did phones he did great! I go to Dennys at least twice a month. Today my experience sucked. I don’t usually say anything bad about a restaurant. I sat there for 40 minutes waiting on my order. They are not busy and I understand things happen. I heard them say they lost a ticket the food they were discussing was mine. I let it go but when I got my food the toast was not toasted it was 2 slices of bread with butter slapped on it and the waitress never came back after serving my food.

Nobody at the front, workers were sitting in a booth talking, there was no server or waitress.. so we left for IHOP instead.. it really seemed like the workers tried not to care to get us to leave.

The place was empty when we,a group of 3, got there around 9:30 pm. A couple walked in at the same time we did. We placed and received drink order. Placed our food order. Another customer came in. He ordered, ate, and left and we hadn't received our food. The waitress came by once to refill drinks. She kind of came by again. When we asked about our food, she said they only had one cook. Nothing on the menu takes more than 10 minutes at most. They had a total 5 people in the restaurant and did 1 to go order in our 45 minute wait. No apology. No warning it might take a while. We left.

Worse meal possible. The steak came out cold with a big burnt center on the outside from being cooked on one side for a long time. The toast i could have played hockey with it was so hard. Never offered steak sauce, jelly, hot sauce nothing. Never got a refill on my drink even when it was empty

I wish it was an option for 0 stars. Came to this location Friday night after a football game maybe 11pm, wasnt busy when we arrived. The cook was headed to the restroom and started counting our 9 guest and immediately seemed irritated, said he just wanted it to slow down so that definitely made us feel unwanted but we stayed giving them the benefit .. BIG MISTAKE. Took over an hour for them to bring out any food but we didn't complain, asked the waiter how much longer and he replied "Im not the cook, so I cant give you and exact time" but food came out incomplete so when we sent items back to be corrected you could hear the cooks making all sorts of comments from the kitchen. After I sent my extra burnt chicken strips with no fries back to be re cooked one male cook started pointing and yelling so I asked who he was talking to and he said "you". The manager tried her best to apologize but at that time it was too late, he came from the kitchen rudely talking to us (all women and children). He said he was leaving for the night but came back towards our table as if he was going to handle us. We didnt even get to bite the food. I really feel sorry for the manager that was on duty because she really tried and you can tell that she had no control over those guys. Get her better help because that night crew will ruin your business.

I regret stopping here. Who owns this location? Come by sometime to see how inadequate you’re running this business. 1000% do not recommend coming to this location today. We have been waiting for over a hour for our food. Supposedly they only have 2 cooks. Customers have walked out, people who were here before us have not received their food. Please train your employees to greet customers when they see someone walk in. ‘Hi our host will be right with you.’ Also teach your host to inform customers that there is an hour wait for food. Common sense.

Walked in, got seated, went through the entire menu. 2 employees walked past me and never asked if I wanted water. I sat there for approximately five minutes and got up and walked out. Their loss. I’m typically a pretty good tipper.

Came in sat down took almost thirty minutes to get our drinks. We tried ordering two smoothies and got told when the server came back was that she couldn’t serve it because she didn’t have time. We then waited another thirty minutes to put in our order. And we still haven’t received our appetizer that we put in with our FIRST drink order. End of story never coming back to seeing waitresses and staff dancing around when people need stuff….

Seasoned fries totally disgusting and hard. Completely inedible. Paid 30.00 for a super bird with crepes. Won't do it again.

2/1/2026 Sunday mid-day. We enter and I thought we would get a Welcome from the young lady that saw us walk in, NAH !! Saw at least 3 waitresses and my husband watched them as they continued to IGNORE US. At least 5 minutes waiting and still no one approached us to sit us down at a table. Well we figured if they are this SLOW and UNACCOMMADATING might as well leave. POOR SERVICE. LUCKILY WE WERE JUST PASSING THROUGH.

Dinner was horrible the order was completely messed up then the cook and waitresses were too busy making out to even care or try to fix the mess up and when we questioned the server about the wrong order the cooks became very rude and aggressive. Definitely not a place to bring children and horrible service and food

Can't rate the food considering we were refused service! My husband, son, and I walked in at 10:10 p.m. on 8/29/25, we stood at the door waiting to be seated for 10 minutes. There was a cook sitting at the table in the lobby hanging out with a customer, the lady in a white and black shirt standing up against the station watching the male server make coffee. 3 tables in the whole place. The male waiter came out to seat and and was walking us to the corner booth on the left side of the restaurant and the server (no name tag) turns around and tells him no multiple times. Not because she was busy, just did not want a table! This will most definitely not be a frequent for us anymore!! This place has gone down hill! We will never be back!! And will be reaching out to the owner tomorrow!!

They didn’t have a lot of food and when we asked for nachos, they said all I was a half order which we ordered a full order and when we got it, it was less than a half an order. They said they would make it right with us. They did not. We did not have steak knives to cut our food. They said they didn’t have nobody to wash dishes, very unhappy. We spent $86 last night at the Denny's in Kilgore the food was awful we got it to go my daughter brought it home she got two chicken fried steaks but they look like they were mushy Frozen and she and my grandson got mashed potatoes and broccoli the only thing good at that was the broccoli I got mashed potatoes and corn and t-bone steak the steak was awful no seasoning not at zilch the only thing they put in the bag was silverware and she had to ask for that we will get anything to eat there again for a very long time. Tried calling them but no one answers the phone so I'm posting on here please avoid Denny's in Kilgore maybe until they get their stuff together yes it was Christmas night that was the only thing open so for now on when this happens we'll make a sandwich at home

My family waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes for food, and when we finally decided to leave, the food was still not ready. When we informed the manager she told us the food was almost ready, but one of our orders had been sitting there for 30 minutes. That same day other people walked out for that same reason.

Absolutely abysmal service. The waiter's call sign should be ghost. I was the only patron eating and I still sat the whole time with my empty glass of water. My food was cold when brought to the table. I was brought the wrong pancakes and my sugar free syrup was forgotten. No biggie I said to myself, people make mistakes, I will just let him know when he comes back.HE NECER CAME BACK! Clearly a party was going on in the back and I was not a concern of theirs. I will never be back as the really is a repeat form another visit. Of you go do not sit in the section of the black kid with dreads.

Tbone was terrible snd the corn was so salty. it was horrible. I should have explained. The steak came as if it was boiled not grilled. Was told they bake it Blood was pooling on top of the steak. No color at all. They asked if I wanted it grilled which they did , but the steak was still un edible. I should have asked the manager to look at a Tbone picture on their menu. As far as the corn, not sure how you would add that much salt to it. I love salt and could mot eat it. After a long drive through a cold storm and getting to Denny’s. My dreams of a great hot steak were smashed.

Stopped to have thanksgiving dinner , I was told o wait by the hostess a young white woman , 10 minutes later I could feel the energy , there was a total of 8 people dining they weren’t busting assume they didn’t want to do much work. I left out the back way the hostess came out the back door to scroll her phone. Bad management surely they would hire people to go gave a dam about their business or then again maybe tats how they operate I saw another person leave as well. Bad service bad treatment of clients I’ll take my money elsewhere

I usually love Denny’s, but this particular location has really disappointed me—twice in a row. The first time, the kitchen staff were using loud and offensive language that made my whole family uncomfortable. It wasn’t just a few words here and there—it was constant, disruptive, and completely unprofessional. We decided to give them another chance, thinking maybe it was just a bad night, but tonight proved otherwise. The same kind of language could be heard again, though it sounded like a different group of employees. What makes it worse is that this happened during a slow evening with only a few tables occupied. There was absolutely no reason for things to be so chaotic or for service to be that slow. We waited over an hour for our food, and it never came. Eventually, we just paid for our drinks and left, completely frustrated and disappointed. It’s a shame, because Denny’s is usually a place we enjoy and trust for a comfortable, family-friendly meal. Unfortunately, this location clearly lacks training and leadership. The management and owners should be embarrassed that this is the standard being allowed in their restaurant. With some proper oversight and a focus on professionalism, this could be a great place—but for now, it’s definitely not worth the stop.

I typically enjoy dining at Denny's, appreciating good service and food. However, tonight, around 9:20 pm on January 12, 2024, the experience was disappointing. They only brought us drinks, and our waitress disappeared. We waited for more than 20-30 minutes with no one taking our order. The staff were engaged in casual conversations, and one of them was openly flirting. Additionally, we noticed a person, seemingly a "friend," going in and out of the kitchen to flirt with the staff. Eventually, my friend and I decided to leave, leaving only $10 to cover the drink expenses. A letdown in service at Denny's.
